I woke up with panic. My vision was pretty clear but I was in the middle of a barren land and was still wearing my ordinary clothes, until I realized something. The half of my body was metallic. More precisely the right side and it wasn't smooth like common polished steel but it seemed like some sort of high-tech circuitry. "What the hell..." I muttered. It looked rather amazing than terrifying and felt pretty light although it had probably made of steel or something similar. "Hmm... Looks like that somebody had implanted them while I was dead. And I look pretty badass too!" I smirked but wasn't sure if I should worried about this or not, but I was sure that it would change my life forever. Speaking of life... “How did I end up in this desert? Am I in hell?” I panicked. The last thing I remembered was racing somebody (illegally) with my motorcycle while a storm brewed in the sky followed by the massive rain and strong wind. My vision was blurred by the falling water and suddenly 'CRASH'! ... What could I say? I wasn't a sluggish type driver after all. 'Damned storm!' I felt so screwed about that thought. "Hmm... Let's see." I bit my left hand, hard "Arrgh! Shit! That hurts!" With that I realized that I wasn't dead. 'A soul won't feel any physical pain.' "WHAT KIND OF A CELESTIAL JOKE IS IT?" I shouted. 'Excellent, now I'm in the middle of nowhere without any water or foods or faster transportation than this 'walking.' I thought sarcastically. Realized that my actions hadn't given any fuck to me, I gazed into horizon and hoping to saw a civilaziton in sight. Another panic set in when there was nothing than dust. I climbed a low rock formation to get a better sight. The ground in that desert was barren, there only some bushes and cactus in sight and there was many high rock formations like in the wild west. "Am I in the wild west? Dammit!" I kicked a rock that laid in front of me with my right foot to vent my anger. "CRACK!" The rock was as big as basketball and I had crushed it easily. "Woow... nice metal feet." I stated to my foot. My right shoe had battered because of the impact. After a while I decided to walking though I didn't know the direction. The desert was hot like the... hot desert? Whatever. The hot clima didn't affect me the slightest but it was very annoying to walking alone in the middle of nowhere. 'First, find some fresh water. Weird that I don't feel any sign of fatigue. Hmm...' I touched the metallic parts of my body. 'It's cold.' The sun was shining like hell and it was cold. 'I don't know what it should be but it can be a nice advantage to me.' I smirked. As I continued my walk, I saw something in the bushes. 'The hell is that?' With cautious I came closer to examine it. 'What the... A changeling?' Precisely a bruised anthropomorphic changeling that laid on the side. She (Because of her D-Cups) wore (I didn't know if that some sort of exoskeleton or just armor-clothing) a some sort of black-spiky armor that covers her body and had a typical changeling horn. She had also a long grey hair (Mane? Whatever) and a pair of insectoid wings on her back. Her snout was very short too, it seemed that her head almost round. 'Yep, I'm sure that I'm not on Earth anymore. Curse you God' I didn't know if I should happy about this or not. It was like the dream of every brony came true... Had I said brony? Yeah, I was a brony, but I hate the main characters. Why? I just hated their actions. Simply. The truth was: I hated every protagonists of a story, wherever it were child shows or adult entertainments. Weird that I didn't have the missing feeling of my family and my best friends too. Had enough of these bullshits, I finally decided to wake her up. "Hey, wake up Miss..." I touched her left arm with my mechanical palm. "Urrgh..." She woke up, sat and touched her head. It looked like that she had a bad headache. "What happened to me...? The invasion!" She stated abruptly. "Calm down, okay." I showed my hands. "What are you, creature? I've never seen any creature like you before." She asked me confusedly with her young lady tone. "I'm a human, precisely I was a human and you can call me is Sanjay." 'Apparently she can speak English. She probably call it with other name.' Decided to forget it, I asked her. "Also, do you have a name, Miss..." "I'm just a Drone and Drones have numbers as the designation. My designation number is 3426. Wait, are you an alliance of these ponies?" She stood up with sudden and raised her sword that I forgot to notice. "Wow... Wow... Wow... Wait, I'm not an alliance of that ponies or anybody. I was dead and then woke up in this cursed desert with this mechanical part-things. So, that's all." I stood up and raised both of my hands. "You was dead? Can your species back to life again when they dead? And how can I know that you're not a spy?" She pointed her weird designed black sword to me after that statement. "Yes, I was dead and no, my species can't back to life again when they dead, normally. I don't know how I can prove you that I'm not a spy of an organization or something, but I can come along with you into your hive, when you accepted it." I answered and waited her reply. "Hmmph... It's now useless." She took her sword down and sheated it. "You know, I'm not a type who enjoys being commanded from somebody. It was our connections with the Queen that made us to always obeying her command, at last until our failed attempt to invade Canterlot." She paused and took her breath. "We are now scattered over Equestria and our magical bonds with the Queen had severed since that tragedy happened. Actually I always wanted the freedom and now I'm an independent Drone." She told while gazing into the sky. The wind had blowed her hairs and made it flow irregularly. 'So, this is the anthropomorphic season 2 huh, hmm...' I thought back. "So, do you hate your Queen?" "I hate being a pawn of somepony." She said it flatly. "And how could you thinking about freedom when you were connected? It wasn't a complete mind control, am I right?" I downed my hands with that. "The bonds was used to feed us and command us to do whatever the Queen's will, but she couldn't control our emotions and our will. No single changeling could break those connections. Luckily the invasion was... you know that already." She told. "I don't know why I told you about that, I just feel so... free. There's no annoying sounds from the Queen in my head anymore." She explained while still gazing into the sky, only it was with a warm smile. "Besides that, I should gratitude you that you have found me. You seem to be a nice pon... Err person, Sanjay." She stated with a smile. "Ah, just forget it. I just like to help someone who in trouble. So, what will you do now?" "I don't know. I don't have any real destination in my life. Besides that, I doubt that the others will trust me after the troubles that we inflicted to them." She looked down with a crooked grin, then sighed. "Do you mean these ponies?" "Ponies, griffons, and the other intelligence races in this world. You know, we have been infiltrated every countries since long time ago to gather foods and informations." "Don't worry, I trust you." I didn't know why I said that. I just felt that she could be trusted. Besides that I still hated those ponies and their actions... Its only made me sick. "So, do you trust me?" "Hey, don't think too much about such negative things. You seem to be a nice person too." I smiled with my left hand tapped on her shoulder. "It's our nature that another species normally distrust us." She looked down with a smirk. "I trust you. Okay! So, let's do a promise that we'll be friends forever." I said with huge grin and hands on hips posture. 'I may a hater, but it doesn't mean that I can't have a friend and she hate those ponies too.' "We're now friends?" She asked confusedly. "Yeah! So, follow my gesture." I clenched my left hand and raised the little finger. Right hand on the hip. "Like this?" She did that with her armored-left arm too. With that I entwined my left finger to hers and a toothy grin with closed eyes appeared on my face. Then she showed her smile with closed eyes and entwined her left finger too. After a while i opened my eyes. "Friends." I said. "Friends." She said. Then I released the grip and she did it too. "So, let's go to the Everfree!" I walked away with clenched fist and awkward walking. "Wait, you want to go to the Everfree? That's on that direction, you silly!" She shouted and pointed to the opposite direction. "Heh... Heh..." I scratched my head and started walking to the direction she had pointed. "Want to come along? We can do some interesting things together like pissing those ponies off or create beautiful chaos in this world." "... I don't know." She smiled. "Okay! I'll come with you. Hmm... pissing off some ponies would make me better too after what happened in Canterlot yesterday, I guess... Do you know how long I was unconscious, Sanjay?" "Sorry, but I just found you here a while ago. Now just forget it, the matter is you're life now. Come on!" I walked away. "Such a weird one..." She muttered and shuttled her head. "Hey, wait on me!" With that we walked together through that barren land. The shining sun and the lack of trees made the clima very hot, although it didn't affect us to do another conversation. I probably hated walking, but with someone who you could did conversation with, it was another story. The conditions of the Badlands made every normal person who cross it die because of exhaustion, but I wasn't a normal person. I still didn't feel any sign of fatigue or thirst, although I've been walking in the blazing sun since two hours ago (I had checked it through my cellphone which didn't have any damn signal). My friend-companion was a changeling and she has been probably eating my emotions since our encounter hours before, that would probably enough to kept her sustained. 'She could fly away and let me in this cursed barren land alone, but she didn't do it.' I smiled about that thought. Our first destination was Dodge Junction that laid north from this desert beyond these mountains. We had kept talking about stealing things, disguising and how to pissed off those ponies that made us sometimes chuckle, until I suggested some names for her. ... "What about White Shadow?" I persuaded. "Don't overdo it." She rejected it coldly, again and again. "Oh come on, they weren't too bad, are they?" I said with defeated tone. "Of course they were! Am I some sort of a prominent or what?" She faced me and frowned. "Okay, okay... no need to angry. Hey, what about Evelyn?" That thought suddenly popped in my head. "Hmm... Not bad. I think I like that." "Yeah! It's now official that your name is Evelyn. Are you really agree that?" I tried to persuade her. "Hmm... Okay." She smiled. "Yes! So... Evelyn, I guess you're good with your sword. Are you?" I asked. 'The sheath may looks normal, but the sword has a weird design.' I tried to remember her sword. "I may not the best, but I'm proficient with one-handed sword." "Your armor, is that natural or just clothing?" I tried to hold the conversation. "Of course it's clothing, you silly." She smiled. "But our shape-shifting ability can affects things that we touch. The bigger the thing, the more mana we need to transform it. Besides that we have to touch the object that we transformed or the spell will be vanished." "I guess you're good at spellcasting too." I commented. "My mana pool isn't much for a Drone like me. I can only shapeshift me, my armor and my sword or I wouldn't have mana anymore to perform Levitation or Magic Blasts, unless I have certain enhancement to increase my mana pool." She explained. 'So they can transform things too.' It seemed like they were a little bit different than from the original show. Nevertheless, they were better than the original. "You know, is on that mountain any place for take a-, do you feel that?" I asked her. The ground started to trembling. "An earthquake... but here is no volcano nearby, unless... GET AWAY!" She shouted and leaped back. I did it too but with my mechanical feet as the base. "Woow..." I muttered. 'Neat, I can now perform a long jump without breaking any sweat.' The jump was at least ten meter. I saw Evelyn flew right a few meter above me. "What is-" I shouted but something had rose from earth before I could finish my words. WHAM! The ground in front of me flew over ten meters in the air. "RAAAAARGH!" A giant mutated worm thing from the season 4 rose from the ground. A Tatzlwurm exactly. 'Lucky that I had been a fan of that child shows, or now I would be screwed.' But from the size, It seemed like only half as big as the original. And it screamed with ear piercing sound. 'Shit. A young Tatzlwurm, huh. Looks like the menu today is a roasted worm!' I thought it sarcastically with a smirk. This mechanical implantates made me somehow far stronger than before, why should I fear this brainless animal? This was a perfect opportunity to test my actual strength too. BUZZ!  BUZZ! The sound of Magic Blasts filled the air. I saw Evelyn started to shooting that giant worm with her green-colored magic blasts from her horn. "Stay back Sanjay! I'll take care of it!" She looked at me and shouted. "NO! I can help you! LOOK OUT! I screamed but it was too late. Three hands-sized tentacles had protruted from Tatzlwurm's mouth and caught her. One tentacle strangled her right feet, one her body and the other one her left arm. "Aaargh!" She unsheated her sword with her free hand and cut those tentacles with ease. "RAAAARRGH!" The Tatzlwurm cringed from the physical pain. The yellow blood splashed from it's severed tentacles. The blood splashed to Evelyn and blinded her momentarily. The Tatzlwurm rampaged with fury and charged to her while she caught off guard. "WATCH OUT!" I started running to attack that overgrown worm. To Be Continued...
