I was walking away from my seat in the counsil chamber. I had earned it in my revolutionary years. It had been 5 years exactly this day. 5 years since the bronies had seized control of every state in the world. We were forced to use violence, we were hesitant but without it we would have achieved nothing. I was one of the generals. But i was. different most of them were not fighters the most tried to avoid as many confrontations as possible. And when it came to a confrontation they wouldn't show them self on the battlefield. I on the other hand was always present in battle. I was fighting alongside my fellow bronies. Fighting for what we believed in. Holding on to what we believed in. we always tried diplomacy first. It never succeeded. It always came to a confrontation. Our strength in numbers was only outmatched by the strength of what we believed in. We believed in everything MLP:FIM had taught us. We believed in love and tolerance but we were shunned in the normal society. So we started our own society in Holland. It was easy getting all the bronies there. It had been easy overtrowing the government for it had been very fragile at the moment. Getting the rest of the population behind us had been easy. We had a public showing of MLP on every T.V. Chanel. Many were turned into true bronies that day. And those who didn't accepted us. But we had achieved only half of what we wanted. We wanted a world in which everypony would love and tolerate each other. We joined the U.N. As the unified brony states. We told them our ideology and ideas. They almost laughed our representatives out of the chamber. After this we left the U.N. knowing that we wouldn't be taken seriously. Slowly the call for the changing of the world came rising from the bronies which at that point made up 90% of the population of Holland. As by the counsils command conscription began. I was 18 and had just finished officers training. I heard the call and immediately signed up. I started as captain in the Big Macintosh squad. We tried diplomacy but it failed. Then there came war. By the end of it i was a general. After it had ended we emerged victorious. Most countries we had Concuerd were quick to join our cause once they saw what we could offer. A time of peace was upon us. And to lead us we installed the brony counsil. The elections turned out positive for me. Because of my bond with the soldiers and through that the people i won the elections. I became the High Chancellor. Since there was no form of rebellion what so ever. We disbanded the army and relocated its funding to science and to Lauren Faust who we had given a ceremonial title as Queen of the unified brony nations. Of course we put her in charge of production of new episodes of the show but nothing else. 3 years after our victory we had a scientific breakthrough we found a way to create the MLP universe in another dimension. We also had the ability to communicate with it. We of course immediately looked to contact her royal highness princess Celestia. She became our new supreme ruler. Another year later i had close personal contact with one of the mane 6. I had personal contact with Fluttershy. At first she had been very shy (as is her nature) but she warmed up to me. Our conversation became longer and more frequent. But on this day 5 years after our miraculous victory our scientist had made another breakthrough. They had figured out a way to allow travel between our dimensions. I of course was overjoyed to report this to the princess. She was less pleased to hear this. She didn't like the fact that humans could travel freely to her world. I could understand her reaction of course. I told her i would order the scientist to destroy the machine. But i had one request for her. I asked her to allow me to come live in equestria. She gave her blessing. She told me she would allow it because i served her well in the past years. When i brought it up in the council there was much protest to the plan of destroying the device after i used it. But they obeyed as soon as i told them that it was the wish of the Princess. The next day i prepared to travel to equestria. My final act as high chancellor was to commission new elections. I wished everypony the best. I never had any family besides my parents who both died in a car crash when i was 18. I said my last goodbye's to my closest friends and walked through the portal.

As me and my clarinet (the only thing i had brought with me) were on the other side the i heard a loud explosion it was the machine exploding. The portal closed. Never to be opened again. I was greeted by her royal Majesty princes Celestia. I knelled as i was used to. She asked me to stand. Then i saw the others in the room. From left to right behind the princes stood. Twilight sparkle, applejack, pinkie pie, rarity, rainbow dash and finally fluttershy. I stared at fluttershy a moment she noticed and she started to blush. I returned my attention to the princess. She started talking to me. “Welcome Bryan, we are glad you arrived safely in our world. I need to ask you a question before we let you out of this room. Because we cant let you walk around equestria like a human we have to transform you into a pony”. I  had expected this and i already had put some thought in what kind of pony i wanted to be. The princes continued: “i can give you a choice in what kind of pony you want to be. But only this one time after you have chosen even i can’t change it”. I told her i understood. I asked her if i would be able to play the clarinet if i would choose to be a unicorn. She said i would be able to do so with some practise. Then my mind is made up i said. Turn me into a unicorn. Celestia's horn lit up. After a few seconds i felt strange. It felt strange but good. It had succeeded i was in fact a unicorn. I had a pale amber coat which seemed to match that of fluttershy. With a blond mane. I could feel the horn on my head. I looked at my flank. No cutie mark. I realised that it was rather logical because of the fact that i hadn't discovered what i was good at. At least not in this world. The princes began to speak again. “My student Twilight will learn you how to use your magic once you all return to ponyville. And another thing Because of the rather short time between your message and your arrival i wasn't able to arrange housing for you”. At that moment fluttershy started talking in her sweet soft voice. “Uhhhm princes i know him very well because we often talked to each other. And i have a spare room available so he could stay with me. I mean if that’s ok with you”. The princes smiled and asked me if i wanted to stay with fluttershy. I agreed. in my awenser trying to hide the fact that through our long talks i fell deeply in love with fluttershy. The princes continued its settled then he will live with fluttershy for the time being. Then pinkie pie started talking overjoyed. “And now its time for a welcoming party for our new friend”. I tried to stand up. Since my transformation i had been laying on the floor. Standing on four legs for the first time was a weird feeling. But i managed to keep myself upright i noticed i was somewhat bigger than the other ponies.  Fluttershy walked towards me offering to help me. I thanked her and accepted the help. I made my first few steps and i said to fluttershy that i would be able to walk by myself. My first steps alone were a bit unbalanced but after that i was alright. I accompanied the 6 ponies to a Small room. Pinkie as always had done her best in giving a great party. We were there the rest of the day talking about my past. When the time came to return to ponyville the princes asked me to write her letters on how i was doing in ponyville. I told her i would gladly do so.

As we returned in a Pegasus drawn chariot. We talked some more and i thanked pinkie for the great party. Our first stop was near the library. Twilight and rainbow dash got of here. Before we left Twilight told me that my lessons would start the next afternoon. I told her i would be there. Me and fluttershy got of last we barely talked once we were alone. We had talked using a machine but we never talked face to face. She was even more beautiful in the moon light. I told her this as we walked to her house. The only hing she said was. “You cant really mean that. I mean almost every mare is way more beautiful than me”. I answerd “no they aren't to me. To me you are the most beautiful both in appearance and in personality”. She blushed and opened the door. We were greeted by angel who looked at me in a strange way. Fluttershy comforted him. She said “this is Bryan. He will be staying here”. I laughed at him he seemed to smile back. Fluttershy walked upstairs and asked me to follow her. She showed me to the bed in her attic. Here we are she said. I thanked her and i lay down on the bed. Fluttershy asked me if i needed anything. No i answered. Fluttershy walked over to me and kissed me on my cheek. I started blushing as did she. I wished her a good night while she was walking down the stair. My first night felt awkward because i couldn't find a comfortable position to lie.

I awoke early the next day i walked down the stair quietly hoping not to wake up fluttershy. I looked into her room through the open door. She was peacefully asleep. She was indeed beautiful. I found the bathroom and i finally got to look at myself in the mirror. I wasn't the most handsome pony but i wasn't ugly. I was a bit larger than the regular pony but smaller than big mac (at least if my comparison of him to the other ponies was wright). As i was looking at myself fluttershy came walking in. At first she startled a bit because she of course wasn't used to having other ponies in her bathroom. I just smiled at her. She smiled back and said she would wait outside until i was ready. I told her she could stay. I had seen about everything there was to see on my new body. I went downstairs and i sat down on the couch. Fluttershy didn't take long to groom herself. She asked me if i wanted some breakfast. I nodded, and said if it isn't any trouble. “Of course it isn't” she said, “what do you want”? “What you are having” i said. As we ate we were silent. Fluttershy broke the silence. She said “i know what i did last night was sudden and i apologise if you didn't like it and”. I cut her off, “don't worry your pretty little head about it I loved it”. She blushed again and i kissed her forehead. After breakfast she fed angel and the other animals and then she showed me around town. All the important locations,the houses of her friends with a special stop at sugar cube corner. We were greeted by pinkie as soon as we walked into the store. The energetic pink pony was bouncing as she talked to us. “O my Celestia great that you showed up when you did i just baked this fresh batch of cupcakes”. She turned to me and gave me one with the words “here try it i know you will love them everypony does”. I tried it, it was sweet, very sweet but it was tasty. This i told to pinkie who bounced even higher with excitement after hearing this. We excused ourselves and went on to the library to meet twilight for my first lesson. I knocked on the door we were greeted by spike first. The dragon greeted me in a very kind way saying how  glad he was that he finally had another man to talk to. He led us in where we were greeted by twilight. “Are you ready to begin our first lesson” she asked. I said i was and we started. Fluttershy asked if she could stay, i said she could. My first lesson went surprisingly well Twilight mentioned that i was a natural. After the lesson i was in full control of my telekinesis abilities. It was good to know i could pick up thing a bit easier now. I had also learned how to play my clarinet using my magical abilities. It was late in the afternoon when Fluttershy and i walked out of the library. We started to walk back home. She said now that you have control over your telekinesis. Will you play something for me on your clarinet, if that's okay with you of course. Sure i said for you anything. When we arrived at her home i walked upstairs to get my clarinet. I came down set up my clarinet which had been adapted to the new form of my mouth. And started to play. It felt different than before different but surprisingly it sounded even better than usual. Fluttershy listened carefully and when i finished she applauded. “That was beautiful” she said. I told her that was because i was inspired by her beautiful face. She smiled and once again started to blush.

after my performance we talked for a bit. then i finally found the courage to say the following “Fluttershy, you know since the day that i first spoke to you through that device i was intrigued by you. as time went by i wanted to speak to you every day if possible. well what i guess i am trying to say is that i love you, with my entire hart”. after that there was a silence in the room. fluttershy started to smile. she said “nopony ever said something like that to me. there is something i want to tell to you as well. i also think i love  you”. and from there on things went automatically we moved closer to one another an we kissed. i felt her lips touch mine a feeling better than any i had felt before. we sat on the couch kissing for another minuet or so when suddenly fluttershy broke the kiss and said to me that i didn’t have to sleep in the attic that night. at first i didn’t get what she meant by that, but then i saw the look in her eyes and i knew. we went upstairs to her room and we had the most intense night ever. one of the best nights as well, as she would later tell me.

i awoke refreshed the next day. i opened my eyes and saw fluttershy standing next to the bed looking at me in a way only she could. with those sweet eyes of her. she was startled by the fact that i had woken up. she immediately started to apologize. “oh I'm sorry i didn’t mean to wake you up i was just looking if you were still sleeping”. i put her at ease by telling her it was ok and that i had woken up to the most beautiful sight ever. she smiled, she told me that pinkie came to see me and that she was sitting in the living room. i told fluttershy that i would be down i a few minutes. she walked downstairs. while i got ready i wondered why pinkie  would want to speak to me. when i got down i got no chance at all to greet her because as soon as she saw me she started talking. “when we greeted you i saw that you had something with you. i wondered what it was and then at the end of the evening i finally knew, it was that clarinet you were talking about. and my sister Octavia has a band and she is always looking for new members so i arranged for you to tryout to become a member isn’t that great”? it took me a few seconds to deal with all the information that had been given to me. eventually i started smiling. even in my days as a human my passion (next to MLP) had been the clarinet. i was excited. i thanked the pink pony who was once again bouncing around the room. she told me i could meet up with Octavia that afternoon to give it a shot. once pinkie had left fluttershy who had been sitting quietly in the room started talking. “isn’t it great, she said. you are given a chance to join one of the best bands in equestria”. i was excited as well. but then came the realisation that in order to join i had to travel, travel a lot. that would mean that i would have to leave Fluttershy behind. and that was something i didn’t want to do. i sat down and talked it over with her. off course she tried to tell me that it was ok and that we could see each other when i didn’t have to preform. but my mind was made up. i would go to Octavia and tell her that i appreciated the offer but i had to decline. Fluttershy looked at me in disbelieve. then we kissed again she toughed it was the sweetest thing anypony had ever done for her. giving up such a bright future for her. i told her that for me a future without her wasn’t a bright future at all.

i went to ponyville later that day. i met up with Octavia who seemed thrilled to meet me. i told her why i wouldn’t be able to join her. she seemed a bit shocked by this. “you can’t really mean that” she said. “could you just play something for me” she asked. “just so i know if you would have made it”. i started playing. when i finished i looked at Octavia. she was crying. i asked her what was wrong. “that was beautiful” she answered. i was of course flattered by this. she begged me if i wouldn’t reconsider my answer. i told her that nothing in this world could make me change my mind. Octavia seemed to be disappointed but also it looked like she understood what i meant. i returned home to fluttershy. as i walked in she gasped. on your flank she said. i looked, there on my flank stood a clarinet with three notes coming out of the end. “you got your cutie mark she said, that’s amazing”. i simply stood there and nodded. today i had discovered that thing thing is was best at in this world was playing the clarinet. but i had denied the offer to join one of the best bands to stay with fluttershy. i looked at her. she looked worried. i asked her what was wrong, she answered that now that i discovered what i was good at and after i denied the offer i may not find happiness. i tried to calm her down saying that i would be happy as long as i was with her. i told her i would find something else to do. she still looked like she felt guilty. i kissed her forehead and told her everything would be all right.

later that day i went to Twilight to continue my lessons. pinkie pie was there as well. pinkie directly started to ask questions about why i didn’t join her sister. i explained the situation to her. she seemed to be satisfied with the answers i provided. then Twilight stood up and started walking towards me. she started to talk, “i see you got your cutie mark. a clarinet, interesting. when did you get it” she asked. i told her that it probably appeared when i was auditioning for Octavia. pinkie jumped up, “see i told you that you should have joined her. and though i understand why you didn’t, but i still think it was a bad choice”. twilight cut her off, “and why exactly did you decline Octavia’s offer”? i told her about my feelings for Fluttershy. twilight seemed surprised to hear this. and Fluttershy knows of this she asked. i thought back at the night before and answered with a calm yes. after hearing that pinkie started bouncing. she excused herself and ran out of the door to Celestia knows were. i asked twilight if it was ok with her if we continued our lessons now. she nodded and we walked into the library. after my lesson i talked to twilight and spike for a bit before leaving. before i returned home i stopped at a jeweler. and bought the most expensive necklace i could afford from the money that the princess had given me before leaving the castle. then i returned home.

fluttershy was treating a wounded bird as i walked in. i greeted her and told her that i had a surprise for her in the kitchen, after she was done she walked in to the kitchen. her eyes grew with excitement the moment she saw what i had for her. it was a gold necklace encrusted with diamonds. i knelt and looked her in her eyes and ask her, “Fluttershy will you marry me”? i could see a sparkle in her eyes i could see she was happy. yes she replied, “yes i want to marry you”. i put the necklace around her neck and we kissed once more. the next day we went into town, she was wearing her necklace for everypony to see. first we went to rainbow dash, with her being fluttershy’s oldest friend. at first she couldn’t believe it. but she after seeing the necklace she knew. Fluttershy asked her to be her bridesmaid. “of course” she replied. “this wedding is going to be at least 20% cooler than any other wedding before it”. after that we went to rarity’s place to tell her the good news and to ask her if she could make a dress for fluttershy and something for me to wear. rarity was overjoyed. it wasn’t often that she got to make wedding dresses, especially not for her friends. we thanked her and continued to sugar cube corner where we were greeted by a excited pinkie pie. apparently she already heard the news and had already begun planning the party. we thanked her and continued on our way. we went to twilight who was busy reading a book. she looked surprised when we came in. after she looked at fluttershy she started to smile. “i heard you two are getting married, congratulations”. Fluttershy started to speak. “twilight we wanted to ask you if you wanted to arrange the ceremony. if it isn’t any problem off course”. “off course i want to do that” said twilight, “i have a book here somewhere that explains how to do that”. she went off looking for it. while she was doing that i walked up to spike. he congratulated me. then i asked him if he wanted to be my best man. “why me” he asked. “i dont know any other stallions which i see as a friend. so naturally i ask you, my best male friend”. spike became excited and almost directly said yes. in the meantime twilight had returned and was bombarding Fluttershy with ideas for the ceremony. i stopped her saying that whatever she did we trusted that it would be just fine. i also told Fluttershy and Twilight that i had asked spike to be my best man. they both thought it was a good choice. after having talked to twilight about the ceremony we continued to sweet apple acres. where we were greeted by big mac. he pointed us to a place in the fields where we could find applejack. she was bucking apple trees as always, but she stopped as she noticed us coming towards her. i noticed apple bloom was standing behind a tree. after we asked applejack the obvious question about the “normal food” which we thought pinkie wouldn’t arrange for. fluttershy went over to the tree apple bloom was standing and asked if she and her friends would like to be the flower girls. i could hear apple bloom shout “CUTIE MARK CRUSADERS FLOWER GIRLS”, before running of. no doubt to go tell her friends what they had to do.

after this we returned to our home. as we walked Fluttershy asked me if we had been to fast, if we shouldn’t have done things slower. i just looked at her and said that there was no need to worry, i believe we were right on time i said. the wedding was planned about 1 month later. in that time i learned that playing my clarinet calmed the animals Fluttershy was taking care of. after some of the ponies found that my music had given them mental rest.  i found myself to be the new music therapist in town. i had great fun in my new profession. the weeks went by until that day, that wonderful day. i can remember it like yesterday. i woke up before Fluttershy and began making an elaborate breakfast. she came walking down the stairs and sat down at the table on which i had put breakfast. i had made pancakes but not the traditional way i made them according to my grandmothers recipe. she loved them, i was never much of a cook but this one recipe i had learned to master over the years. breakfast had gone by fairly silent, i could see that she was nervous. soon she would go to rarity to get her mane styled and what not. my costume had been delivered a few days earlier. i was never one for dressing up but for this day i would make an exception. my suit was very basic as i wanted it to be. it was comparable to a tuxedo. as per tradition i hadn’t seen Fluttershy’s dress. although she begged me to look at it to see if it was good enough. i told her it was her special day so she should be the one to decide if it was perfect. fluttershy had left for about half an hour when spike came in. i didn’t know who was more excited me or spike. he was dressed up in his gala attire. he was worried if he looked good enough for rarity. i told him he looked sharp. i had made arrangements for him to sit next to rarity as a favor to him. we talked for another hour or so, then it was time to make my way to the plaza in ponyville for the ceremony.

i cant remember that much of the trip to the plaza. when i arrived many of the ponies all ready sat there. i could see a strange formation of clouds above the plaza. i could hear voices coming from up there. clearly audible was the voice of rainbow dash. “come on fluttershy its your special day you can’t stay here all day”. there was a silence, i presume fluttershy was answering her but in a manner fitting her personality. rainbow dash answered again,  “no that's no excuse I'm sure he will think you look beautiful”. i smiled, my dearest fluttershy always insecure. though i had not seen the dress, i could only imagine how beautiful she would look in it. 5 minuets later rainbow dash came flying down to the end of the rug. looking behind her she noticed she wasn’t followed by fluttershy. she sighed and flew up again, a few seconds later she came back down this time accompanied by fluttershy. she looked beautiful, her dress looked wonderful it was a variation on her gala dress. she gracefully started to walk towards me followed first by rainbow dash and second by scootaloo, apple bloom and Sweetie Belle. they seemed very excited. as fluttershy walked towards me she smiled insecurely. i smiled back confidently  it seemed to give her some confidence as well. now she was standing next to me. “you look beautiful i whispered”. she blushed. we stood there for about a minuet rainbow dash next to her and spike next to me. twilight appeared in front of us she was carrying a book. the title was: weddings for derps by d. hooves. i started smiling it was typical for twilight, always doing stuff by the book. the ceremony proceeded wonderfully. twilight ended with the classical words “you may kiss the bride”. so i did, it was one of the most passionate kisses we would ever exchange. after that we went to the party pinkie had prepared. as was usual for pinkie it was a great party. as we had imagined she only had prepared sweets. we were glad we had prepared for that. we thanked both pinkie and applejeack.

we left the party at sugar cube corner early, after we gave our thanks to all the ponies that had congratulated us we made our way back home. before we went inside i told her to stop. using my telekinesis i opened the door and picked her up. she was startled asking me what i was doing. i told her it was a old human tradition, lifting the bride over the doorstep. she calmed down and even started smiling. i carried her to the bed and put her down there. she started removing her dress. “are there more of these human traditions i need to know of” she asked me as she went to lay down on the bed. she had that look in her eyes the same look she had the second day we lived together. i directly knew what she had meant. that night felt magical it felt like we were one that night. i believe angel came in somewhere during that evening, he didn’t look at me for a week after that.

the next day i once again woke up earlier to start on breakfast. as i was making it rainbow dash knocked on the door. i could see in her eyes there was something wrong. she asked if she could come in. i stepped aside allowing her to walk in. she sat down on a couch. i asked her if she wanted something to drink or wanted to join us for breakfast. she looked at me and started speaking “we don't have time for that. the princess needs your help right away”. what would she need me for i asked. “it’s the portal you came through, it has been opened again”. i was shocked by this news. before i left i clearly gave orders to destroy both the plans and the machine. “there is no time” said rainbow dash, “we have to go now”. i told her that i was going to tell fluttershy where i was headed. rainbow dash was displeased. she grunted while i walked upstairs. carefully i woke up fluttershy, she yawned then opened her eyes to see my worried face. she immediately sat up in the bed asking me what was wrong. i told her what rainbow dash had told me. “oh my” was the only thing she could say. i told her i would be going to the castle to assist in any way possible. she almost jumped out of bed. telling me that she would be coming along. i wasn’t planning on stopping her so i told her to hurry up.

a few minuets later we sat in a Pegasus drawn carriage, at least me and fluttershy that is. rainbow dash had already returned to the castle at high speed. when we arrived we found that the entire mane six was present there. we were quickly led to the room in which i had first arrived. as i walked inside i could see the portal glowing yellow. “its still warming up” i said. “is there a way to stop it” the princess asked me in a tone that was so calm you would think she was in another place. i started to ponder about what we could do to stop it. there was one option, but i quickly crossed it off the list because i didn’t presume that they had any nukes on stand-by. there was another option though. it required less energy to travel from equestria to earth. meaning that i could use the portal in its current state. this would however sever the bond between the two dimensions. at least that is what the scientist presumed when we first build it. i told this to the others, fluttershy who had been sitting in the corner suddenly jumped up. “no i will not let that happen”. i was startled by her sudden outburst. she added “i will not let you go not without me at least”. i tried to convince her that it was the only way and that she had to stay because without her the elements of harmony were useless. then my mind started spinning. elements of harmony, elements of harmony. then i knew maybe we could overload the portal in such a way using the elements that it would destroy the building containing both the machine and the plans on the other side. Fluttershy seemed pleased with this idea. i turned my attention to the princess. i asked her if this plan was ok with her. she simply nodded, her horn lit up and the elements appeared on their respective ponies. i glanced at the portal, we had to hurry. everypony took position and braced for the shock it would no doubt cause. the elements started to light up. i was mainly focused on fluttershy even in this state she had something appealing. i gazed at the portal as it was hit by the beam the elements brought forth. suddenly the portal turned bright red, indicating a critical failure. shortly there after it collapsed into its self.

after that the princess once again took the elements for safekeeping and we returned to the throne room where the direct communications link to the council was located. as we turned on the device there was nothing. the screen remained black. i checked the machine, it was fully functioning nothing wrong with it. i didn’t understand why it wouldn’t show us the council chamber. then finally the explanation started to form in my head. because of the extreme power the elements had created we had destroyed the ties to the other dimension. i told this to the others. they seemed relieved that something like this couldn’t happen again. everypony was excited and pinkie was already starting to plan a party (using the party canon which she had brought along for some strange reason), all except fluttershy she was crying in the corner. i walked towards her asking what was wrong. she looked at me “now that we cut of the other dimension you can never return home or talk to your old friends ever again”. i just smiled at her, i tied to comfort her saying that i never wanted to go back and the few friends i had on earth were nothing compared to the friends i had here. she seemed relieved, not completely but enough for her to stop crying. we joined the others in celebration.
