The Party

Pinkie and Scootaloo were stuck in place unable to move, they turned to look at one another in the eyes and then turned back to their friends this was an utter surprise to the two sisters, Scootaloo and pinkie walked closer to their friends.

the room was filled with silence for a long time Scootaloo just couldn't understand how they knew about Pinkie adopting her the worst part of it was that Pinkie’s friends knew she was an orphan Scootaloo just couldn't wrap her mind around why this was happening and most importantly why did Pinkie keep calling her sister? shugging it off for now Scootaloo and her friends went to talk in another side of sugarcube corner with cake, and ice cream, while Pinkie Pie talked with her friends

mr cake and ms cake came over towards Pinkie giving her a small hug “We are so proud of you" Ms cake said nuzzling Pinkie as she held the cake twins in her hooves “I, guess this means we are that little fillies grandparents or something right?" the cakes left towards the kitchen to clean a little they set pound cake and pumpkin on the ground to play as they did.

Pinkie then nuzzled Scootaloo “Okay, you go party with your friends while I go talk with my friends and I promise that tonight or in the morning I’ll tell you why you're my sister, okay Scootsy?” she said as she walked off to her friends who were sitting at their seats on the far end of the shop.

scootaloo sat in her own it was the same color as her coat: orange “So, how did you two even know I was getting adopted?” she asked curiously.

Applebloom was about to answer but Sweetie was to fast for her. “Oh, the cakes told Twilight and Twilight told her friends and then our sisters told us” she said taking a few breaths after saying all of that, it was tiring.

Scootaloo was kinda shocked the cakes would do this but she was still curious on that note Pinkie had “I, wonder what it says” she thought to herself and returned to talking with her friends all while keeping an eye on Pinkie.

Pinkie decided to put the letter down on a table next to where Scootaloo was talking she knows her sister wouldn’t touch it at least she hopes, after putting it down she goes back to her friends, she noticed Dash was drinking a little to much of the cider that Applejack brought over.

“Why does she keep hiding that from me?, I must open it to find out” Scootaloo thought she then told her friends she had to use the fillies room she ran to the table and took the letter then hid under the table luckily nopony was looking besides the twins, but they were still foals so they didn’t quite understand.

Scootaloo opened her mouth and ripped the letter open and began reading.

“My dear Scootaloo if you are reading this and hopefully its not Pinkie...I wanted only you to see this. I am sorry I put you in the orphanage when you were born your father did not like Pegasus ponys at the time I had to get rid of you before he did, now I bet you're wondering who I am, well I’m your true mother my name is Sue you now know the truth you are Pinkie’s sister and I do hope she takes good care of you”, love Sue.

Scootaloo was crying as she finished reading that tears dropped onto the paper “Was, I truly to worthless for her to keep?” she wondered she put it back in the envelope and then placed it on the table she then told Pinkie Pie she was headed upstairs she had told Pinkie she was very sleepy, of course she lied about that she just wanted to be alone.

Scootaloo was on the bright pink bed just staring at the ceiling she knew that letter was an apology but she couldn’t help but feel worthless, tears started to come down her face she grabbed a tissue and wiped her tears away “Ugh pull yourself together, I don’t need her, I got Pinkie……. I got my big sister" she said with whatever pride she had left.

Pinkie knocked on the door “Hey, there little sis hows it goi-” she got interrupted as Scootaloo hugged Pinkie, it warmed her heart to see Scootaloo acting this way she then kissed Scootaloo on the forehead “So,...I take it you saw the letter?” Pinkie Pie asked even though she knew what the answer would be.

Scootaloo nods her head slowly as its buried under Pinkie's fur she felt herself being lifted and next thing she knew she was on Pinkie’s lap on the bed.

Pinkie rubbed Scootaloo’s back with her hoof “I, got it why don’t I set up a family meeting? I could get mom here and you two could sort things out” Pinkie Pie said

Scootaloo gritted her teeth after Pinkie said that, she did not want to see her mother, after all the orphanage wasn’t the best place ponies made fun of her for two things, not having her cutie mark and not being able to fly, not to mention the caretaker there was a jerk, “NO!, I don’t want to see her, she abandoned me and I hate her” she said.

Pinkie was shocked but it didn’t matter she would find a way to fix this, she couldn’t let her sister hate her mother like that it just isn’t right, “Ok, Scootaloo I think its time for bed” she laid Scootaloo in her bed and said “Goodnight little sis” she said as she walked out of the room and closed her door headed downstairs to party a little more.

the party went on for a couple of hours the two crusaders ended up falling asleep at about 11:00 pm there sisters and everypony giggled about it, Rainbow Dash had gotten a little drunk on cider and she fell asleep in some Pie that Pinkie put down for Dash.

once everypony left she headed upstairs and went straight to bed she was very tired.
