Cruel VS. Kind
Cruel VS. Kind
Load Full StoryDiamond Tiara pushed the door to her house open, "Daddy, I'm home!" She called out, setting her saddlebags onto a bench.
When there was no response, Diamond Tiara grunted and walked towards the staircase and yelled, "Dad, I'm home from school!"
She raised an eyebrow then began to trot up the carpet covered staircase up to her dads office.
She opened the door to the office to see a note sitting on his chair, "Ugh, he's working late again?!" She said out loud to herself, then made her way out of the messy office room.
'I guess I'll take a nap...' she thought to herself, walking a few doors down the hallway until she reached a pink door that was covered in hearts and a sign that stated 'Diamond Dazzle Tiara's Room'. She opened the door to the room and closed it behind her.
She pushed the transparent pink cloth left that surrounded her bed and laid down in the bed, holding her bright pink heart-shaped pillow close.
She rethought the day as she waited for herself to fall asleep, going over every little detail.
Diamond Tiara walked into the classroom with her muzzle up high, the class was yet to start and the rest of the fillies were each finding their seats and getting their books ready. Except for one filly with a red mane and yellowish whitish coat, who stood in front of Diamond Tiara's path to her desk, smiling. "Hello Diamond Tiara!" Twist said enthusiastically, "I wath wondering if you had a penthil I could borrow?"
Diamond Tiara raised an eyebrow at the other filly, "Why me?"
Twist reached a hoof into her saddlebag and pulled out a what seemed to be broken pencil, "All of the other classmateths have cheap penthils, and you havth a bunch of thpare mechanical penthils." She pointed to Diamond Tiara's desk where three bright pink mechanical pencils sat.
The snooty earth pony scoffed, "No way! Why would I just *give them to you? Do you even know how much these cost?"*
Twist frowned, "But you don't need three of them! You only need one, right?"
Diamond Tiara grunted, "But I might need all three of them!" She picked up all three of the pencils, "See, this one has blue red purple and orange, but the other one has black yellow pink and green! And the other one has all different shades of pink." She set the mechanical pencils down, "And what if I want to use a certain color to doodle with and I don't have it because *you couldn't deal with asking somepony else for a lame pencil?"*
Twist sighed, then turned around to face the pony sitting next to Diamond Tiara, Archer, and asked for once of his normal pencils.
Diamond Tiara's trail of thought ended as her eyes began to feel heavy and random thoughts that she couldn't control began to take its place.
Soon enough, before she knew it, she was asleep.
Diamond Tiara opened her eyes, her vision was blurry until she rubbed her purple eye with a hoof.
"W-where am I..?"
Suddenly, her door burst open, causing a storm of tiny ponies in bright pink bunny suits to swarm in.
"Wh-..what?" Diamond Tiara said, confused.
Her body was soon completely covered in little tiny ponies in bunny suits, she desperately tried to move but the tiny creatures kept her held down.
"Help! Daddy?! Help me!" She shouted, but no response was heard.
Suddenly, the chandelier above her bed (that had never been there before) began to fall, Diamond Tiara screamed as it was mere inches away from knocking her out.
Just a centimeter before it could hit her, it turned into cake.
The cake had a giant bite on the side, and appeared to be the same cake from her Cute Cenera.
She was now covered in cake and little tiny ponies in bunny suits, struggling to get free.
"Make it stop! Please!" She shouted, her eyes closing shut.
When she opened her eyes back up, she was no longer in her bed and covered in cake and tiny ponies in bunny suits, instead she was atop a snowy mountain.
"It's.. c-c-cold..." she shivered, wrapping her forelegs around her own body.
She breathed out and her breath turned to ice, and the ice fell to the ground and disappeared in the snow.
"W-what? How..." she stuttered, not taking her glance off of where the flat piece of ice stood seconds ago.
"Exactly h-how deep is this snow?" She asked herself, then began to dig a hole into the snow.
The snow appeared to go endlessly, as Diamond Tiara soon found herself in a pit of snow.
The snow walls began to tumble down, and she screamed as they did so. Her eyes closed shut as she waited to be covered in cold concealment.
After a few minutes of no thick layer of ice atop her coat, she slowly opened her eyes to find nothing.
"Ugh, where am I now?" She said out loud, waiting for some sort of horrible insect or sticky texture to fall atop her.
But nothing did, instead, the white wall that was in front of Diamond Tiara began to swirl with black, until something blue that appeared to be a hoof reached out of what seemed to be a black hole.
"Diamond Dazzle Tiara," the loud echoing voice called out.
"Princess Luna?" Diamond Tiara called back, more confused than ever.
Luna's body was now fully visible, and the expression on the alicorn's face was full of anger and disappointment.
The alicorn walked over to the filly, "How does it feel to be cruel, filly?"
"..Wha?"
Princess Luna raised an eyebrow, "Does it feel refreshing? Does it feel good?" She began to walk circles around the filly, "Be honest with me, Diamond."
Diamond Tiara stumbled back, "Uh.. I.. it just..."
"Tell me!" Luna demanded.
"..Empowering?"
The alicorn put a hoof to her forehead, "You are WRONG! You do not have power! Not in the slightest!" Her voice went from her usual tone to her Royal Canterlot Voice. She stomped a hoof against the bland floor, causing sharp icicles to rise out of the ground.
Her horn began to glow, her face representing pure anger.
With a flash of magic, Diamond Tiara disappeared.
"Wh..where am I..?" She woke up in a bedroom that was lower-class from her own, instead of pink curtains it had a green and white checkered blanket. Instead of an expensive dresser it had an old wooden one.
She looked down at the blanket and screamed when she saw her hooves.
"Is this some sort 'o prank?!"
Her used-to-be pink hooves were now a shade of yellow.
Diamond Tiara began to hyperventilate, her eyes rapidly searching the room for a mirror.
Once her eyes glanced over the dresser again, she realized that a mirror was attached.
She jumped out of bed and practically flew from the bedside to the dresser.
Another scream was heard.
Instead of her beautifully styled purpleish pinkish mane, she had a messy red mane with a magenta bow in it.
Instead of her precious signature diamond tiara on her flank, it was... blank.
She stumbled backwards from the mirror, when she hit the wooden floor behind her it made a loud thump noise.
Diamond Tiara curled up into a ball on the floor, closing her eyes tight in hopes of returning back home with her father to tuck her in.
About two minutes later, she opened them back up only to find herself staring at herself.
"Well, hello, Blank Flank." The thing said, walking circles around the pony.
"Ugh, I am not a blank flank! This is just a big mistake! Now give me my body back!"
