The Lunar Eclipse

   As the Princesses headed down to the Crystal Empire, Luna brought her book with her to figure out what happened between the two main characters in love, Monica and Brad. Luna kept reading and reading to figure out what would happen between those two but she knew one thing, she was only on the first chapter. As Luna and Celestia went up to Cadence to greet her, Cadence stopped to see that Luna was not only carrying a bag but in had something in it as well.

   "Hey Luna?" She asked, "Whatcha reading?"

   "Oh! It's just a romance book I got from Twilight's library, no biggey..." She replied. The princess headed down to the lunchroom to eat and have a daily princess day. While Cadence and Celestia were playing tennis, Luna was reading her book. That's when Cadence came to check up on her and asked if she was ok.

   "Hey Luna why don't you join me and Celestia in tennis? I think she needs some sisterly help." She asked.

   "Oh no thanks I'm ok!" She replied.

   "Are you sure?"

   "Yes." Cadence thought that Luna was acting stranger than usual. She wasn't playing tennis, she wasn't eating much of her food, and she said no to a competition. So she kindly asked her what was going on.

   "Luna your acting strange, what's going on?" She asked in her evil but mischief laugh.

   "Nothing it's nothing." She said as she blushed.

   "Is this about the love thing again?" Cadence couldn't help but giggle and Luna just blushed while Cadence was laughing and finally decided to tell her what was going on.

    "I'm a hopeless romantic pony! I just can't stop but read this book about these two ponies and I think it's lovely!" She confessed.

    "Well you know I'm a hopeless romantic pony and a pony of love while I'm at it. So if you need any advice on love I'm here for you Luna, ok?"

    "Ok! Thanks Cadence!"

    "No problem Luna." The two shared a wonderful friendly hug. When it turned 7:30 Luna and Celestia headed back to the castle so Luna could raise the moon. After midnight as always, Luna would read a little bit of her book and put it up and head to sleep. She had a dream tonight. A different dream. This one started out as usual, she's at the ball waiting for someone to dance with, until her prince comes. But this was a different Prince Charming. This prince had a black mane and grayish fur. He had ruby eyes and a black and blue suit. He was approaching Luna who was frighten a little by his looks seeing that he looked a little familiar. As he went up to her he said a kind question as always.

    "Hi Princess Luna! May I have this dance?" He asked. She blushed the way he looked at her, their eyes met, their hearts melted, and it was nothing but complete silence.

    "Of course you may!" She replied. They danced the night away. She never felt so happy in her life, she never knew a stallion could make so happy than she already was to be with her sister. They danced, and danced, and didn't stop dancing. Luna knew that this was the stallion of her dreams.

    "Please may I ask you your name?" Luna asked.

    "Please, call me Sombra." That's when Luna's heart fell when she heard that name. The name of the evil empire who tried to take over the Crystal Empire with nightmares. Luna couldn't help but wake up from that rude awakening. Sombra? The pony of her dreams? As Luna looked in her mirror, she saw the image of her and Sombra dancing the night away. These questions kept rampaging through her head: What happened? And why was Sombra the one I danced with?
