As soon as Luna got ready, the 2 headed off to Twilight's Tree House to where she had stayed when she returned to her hometown. Twilight already had been visited by her friends who helped her clean her home.   "Twilight dear, you must keep you home from looking a mess! You never know who could show up!", Rarity complained.   "I know I know but I know no pony is coming over today because I've kept a schedule just in case any pony is coming and today no pony is coming." That's when the door opened and it was princess Celestia and Luna.    "AHHHH!!!!!" All the ponies screamed, even Fluttershy. That when Luna began to speak.    "DEAR FRIENDS, WE ARE HERE TO CHECK OUT BOOKS FROM YOUR BEAUTIFUL LIBRARY!" She yelled. That's when she realized that she was a little too loud because she saw Fluttershy squeal in the back and she needed Fluttershy to come with her to the moon.    "Hi Luna!" Twilight finally spoke, "It's nice to have you here, unfortunately I really wasn't expecting guests sorry."    "It's ok Twilight. I'm sorry for my very loud Canterlot voice." she said. So 20 minutes later, Twilight and her friends were able to clean the room nicely. Then Twilight, Applejack and spike were nice enough to show her some books that she was interested in.    "Tell me Luna, why are ya so interested in romance books and novels?" asked Applejack.    "I don't know, I just have a feeling there's somepony out there who understands me when they want some pony to love, I'm interested in how it feels to be loved by someone else other than your friends or your sister." she replied.    "I know how that feels..."    "What you say Applejack?"    "Oh! Nothin' you just keep lookin'  for ya book." she replied. As Luna looked and looked she was still being asked questions by her friends. Then Fluttershy came up to ask her a question.    "Umm....Luna can I ask you something?" She asked.    "FOR THE LAST TIME THIS IS THE TYPE OF BOOKS I AM INTERESTED IN SO PLEASE-". She didn't realize she was talking to Fluttershy who had squeaked and cried a little.    "Oh Fluttershy I'm so sorry! I have anger problems please forgive me!" she pleaded.    "Oh don't worry it's ok I understand. Now I was gonna ask you something but it kinda relates to that question." she said.    "Ok what is it?"    "Why do you want somepony to love you so much?" That question always ringed in her head never knowing the answer or never knew how to answer that question. So she gave a positive answer to Fluttershy's good question.    "I just want to know how it feels when someone really loves you and I kinda wanted to know what a kiss feels like too." The 2 giggled when Fluttershy knew the perfect book to give Luna.    "Luna here try this book. It's called 'Once in a Blue Moon' it's a romantic novel that Twilight once gave to me when I needed advice on love." Once she gave her the book Luna knew she would enjoy it.    "Did this help you out with discord?" Luna asked.    "Yes." The two laughed together once more. Luna knew her and Fluttershy would get along on the moon so it wouldn't be much of a problem. Soon as the princesses left, Luna finally knew that she would enjoy this book Fluttershy choose for her. So as the two made it home, it was dawn and Luna already started reading the first chapter of her book and wouldn't stop. When it was midnight Luna decided to call it a night but when it was morning she would head back to reading her story. //-------------------------------------------------------// Dreams //-------------------------------------------------------// Dreams    As the Princesses headed down to the Crystal Empire, Luna brought her book with her to figure out what happened between the two main characters in love, Monica and Brad. Luna kept reading and reading to figure out what would happen between those two but she knew one thing, she was only on the first chapter. As Luna and Celestia went up to Cadence to greet her, Cadence stopped to see that Luna was not only carrying a bag but in had something in it as well.    "Hey Luna?" She asked, "Whatcha reading?"    "Oh! It's just a romance book I got from Twilight's library, no biggey..." She replied. The princess headed down to the lunchroom to eat and have a daily princess day. While Cadence and Celestia were playing tennis, Luna was reading her book. That's when Cadence came to check up on her and asked if she was ok.    "Hey Luna why don't you join me and Celestia in tennis? I think she needs some sisterly help." She asked.    "Oh no thanks I'm ok!" She replied.    "Are you sure?"    "Yes." Cadence thought that Luna was acting stranger than usual. She wasn't playing tennis, she wasn't eating much of her food, and she said no to a competition. So she kindly asked her what was going on.    "Luna your acting strange, what's going on?" She asked in her evil but mischief laugh.    "Nothing it's nothing." She said as she blushed.    "Is this about the love thing again?" Cadence couldn't help but giggle and Luna just blushed while Cadence was laughing and finally decided to tell her what was going on.     "I'm a hopeless romantic pony! I just can't stop but read this book about these two ponies and I think it's lovely!" She confessed.     "Well you know I'm a hopeless romantic pony and a pony of love while I'm at it. So if you need any advice on love I'm here for you Luna, ok?"     "Ok! Thanks Cadence!"     "No problem Luna." The two shared a wonderful friendly hug. When it turned 7:30 Luna and Celestia headed back to the castle so Luna could raise the moon. After midnight as always, Luna would read a little bit of her book and put it up and head to sleep. She had a dream tonight. A different dream. This one started out as usual, she's at the ball waiting for someone to dance with, until her prince comes. But this was a different Prince Charming. This prince had a black mane and grayish fur. He had ruby eyes and a black and blue suit. He was approaching Luna who was frighten a little by his looks seeing that he looked a little familiar. As he went up to her he said a kind question as always.     "Hi Princess Luna! May I have this dance?" He asked. She blushed the way he looked at her, their eyes met, their hearts melted, and it was nothing but complete silence.     "Of course you may!" She replied. They danced the night away. She never felt so happy in her life, she never knew a stallion could make so happy than she already was to be with her sister. They danced, and danced, and didn't stop dancing. Luna knew that this was the stallion of her dreams.     "Please may I ask you your name?" Luna asked.     "Please, call me Sombra." That's when Luna's heart fell when she heard that name. The name of the evil empire who tried to take over the Crystal Empire with nightmares. Luna couldn't help but wake up from that rude awakening. Sombra? The pony of her dreams? As Luna looked in her mirror, she saw the image of her and Sombra dancing the night away. These questions kept rampaging through her head: What happened? And why was Sombra the one I danced with? //-------------------------------------------------------// Stories //-------------------------------------------------------// Stories   Luna couldn't sleep or eat all day. She was still thinking about what happened in her dream. But she knew she had to focus because today is the day of her trip to the moon with Fluttershy. Once Luna started packing, Celestia came in to check and have a sisterly conversation together about what's been going on.   "Hey Luna? Are you ok? You haven't done much." She asked.   "Oh yes I am and I am ready to bring those little moon creatures to justice!" She bellowed.   "Oh. Well I just wanted to know if you were ok or not that's all."   "Oh don't you worry I am fine Tia!"   "Oh. Ok well have fun!" Right after Luna left to go pick up Fluttershy, Celestia went down to the Crystal Empire because she heard there was a villainy problem happening. All Celestia saw was Shining Armor lining up the guards around the Crystal Heart.   "What's going on here?" Celestia asked in a formal yelling voice.   "Princess Celestia, I'm glad you could make it, he has returned." Once Shining Armor finished, Celestia rain something hard in her mind 'if only Luna was here...' When Celestia came up she saw Cadence laying down on the floor with pain and sorrow. Celestia almost felt like crying.   "Shining Armor get Twilight and her friends, they're our only hope right now." She said once more.   "But I don't want Twi-"   "I know me neither but her and her friends are our only hope since Luna is on vacation with Fluttershy, so I need Twilight to stop Sombra once more! No matter what it takes!" Once Shining herd her commands, he left out to go and get Twilight. The signals were coming closer and closer by the minute, but Sombra had grown weaker at every attempt to break Cadence's shield. Shining Armor soon can back with Twilight and her friends. As they all worried they tried to figure out what to do. Back at the moon, Luna and Fluttershy were having a splendid time eating snacks and playing with the the baby moon creatures. But things had not gone well for the Crystal Empire. Sombra gained power, he stopped Cadence and Shining Armor from using their powers. He locked up Celestia in her fear and did the same to the other ponies. Soon Sombra was  able to get into the minds and thoughts of ponies everywhere. Once she heard the stories of fear in her mind, Luna knew something was wrong. She wasn't able to go into the dreams of kids anymore. But only to hear their screams of pain and misery only made her feel worse. Fluttershy asked if she was ok but Luna had screamed all the tears of the fillies and ponies who were calling her. All the stories and pain feelers her body up with misery. The dark forces had not only hit her friends, but all of equestria as well. That's when Luna returned to earth while Fluttershy stayed back to watch the animals so they won't get lose. Once Luna made it to the Crystal Empire, she stared at it in horror. All of Twilight's friends were locked in cages, her sister and Twilight were stuck in their worst fear, and Cadence and Shining Armor had black crystals on their horns. That's when Sombra finally realized that Luna was staring at him in horror. He smiled back at her though.      "Luna please come join the party if you dare!" He said with an evil laugh.      "This is no party! This is a prison! An all of those helpless little ponies are stuck in pain because of you!" She screamed.      "Who you should really calm down you don't look pretty when your angry. But if that's how it is....." That's when he used his black smoke to grab Luna and tie her up.      "So Luna, you know that dream you had last night, was it magical?" He asked.      "Yes it was nice seeing the old you Sombra! But now you've turned yourself into a monster!" She yelled again as her magic beam smacked him and set her free. Luna didn't know what she was thinking. Where are these mixed emotions coming from? //-------------------------------------------------------// Blank //-------------------------------------------------------// Blank    "Well my dear Luna, thats all about to change!", said Sombra as he used his magic to try to grab Luna once more but failed to. Celestia tried to help her, but she knew that if she tried to interfere, Luna would only get into more trouble than she already was. Her powers were only in deep trouble when they heard the thousands of cries from fillies and ponies across equestria. Luna was crying herself but only did she try to hold back her tears while her and Sombra were fighting because that would only make her seem weaker.    "I can't control it, all those kids crying, BECAUSE OF YOU!", she yelled.    "Kids cry, so what! I get to spend more time with you-"    "Don't touch me! You did this to them and I will never forgive you!"    "Oh,well that wasn't very nice. Let me show you how real ponies smack peo-"    "I said don't touch me!". The two were fighting back back an forth and it didn't stop. All it did was make her even more teared up than she already was. But it all came to an end when Luna hit her shocker bomb. There she was falling straight to the ground, lying, doing nothing but lying with her empty mind, it was all blank, she couldn't think of anything but her blank dream. What was her dream? She did nothing for the past five minutes.    "LUNA!", Celestia screamed. She glared at Sombra but stopped. Sombra flew down as he saw the mistake that he made. Celestia was surprised that he didn't make any attempts to cruley destroy her. He just stood their. Staring at her in awe. It was all blank. Nopony said a word. Thats when Rainbow Dash finally said something with tears in her eyes. Everypony had tears in their eyes.    "YOU KILLED HER!", she yelled, "YOU KILLED HER SOMBRA! WHY?! WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?!". Just then Luna woke up from her blank dream. And soon everypony was ok.    "LUNA!", they all yelled. Soon all the barriers were gone. The ponies were out of cages, Shining Armor and Cadence had no crystals on their horns, and Twilight and Celestia were out of their nightmares. Soon the sky went from black to sky blue. Every pony was happy again because of Luna's spark. That's when Celestia approached Sombra to send him to his underground prison.    "You almost killed my sister, so I will actually enjoy putting you in your prison!" She said with pride. Soon she and Luna began to raise their magic, but soon Luna stopped and got to the ground.    "Luna?! Are you weakened? Has he weakened you?!" Celestia said as she panicked.    "No no! I just think that Sombra has had enough of being forced underground" she replied.    "Well you did defeat him. What should we do?" Celestia asked.    "Do you think it's a good punishment to marry someone you just met?" Luna asked. Therefor,  Celestia just stood there in shock once she heard what Luna had said. Did she not heard it right?    "L-L-Luna what did you say?"    "You heard me! I said 'Is it a good punishment to marry somepony you just met?"    "Y-Y-Your not being serious are you?!"    "It's my decision Tia! And I wanna do this!"    "Well you did defeat him, that is true but marrying him that's just-"    "Tia!"    "Ok ok fine." That's when Luna approached Sombra who looked confused because he wasn't in his underground prison and did not understand what was going on.    "Sombra." Luna said bravely. "Instead of sending you underground for your punishment, I thought of a much better punishment, a less harsh one." Every pony was paying close attension to what was going in which made Luna even more nervous but she went in with it.    "You will stay at the castle in Canterlot with me and Celestia in a stone jail room, and your staying there until me and you-"    "You and me what?"    "F-F-Fall madly in love." Every pony gasped at what Luna had said. Luna knew she was only doing this to know if he was the one or not. But she was destined to find out.    "And when we do, we will get married." She contiued. No pony couldn't believe it but Luna was obviously asking him out for 8 months. Sombra just stared at her for a moment like a gaze.    "Ok Luna, not much a punishment but ok." Said Sombra.    "But your room won't be very comfortable, you won't be able to go anywhere, your room is magic proof, an if you try to escape you'll be official sent to the underground prison." Luna said happily.    "Man your a pain!" Sombra replied.    "Thank you!" That's when Celestia appeared right behind Luna to talk to her.    "Are you sure you can do this Luna? I don't want you getting hurt."    "If I can handle being nightmare moon for 1,000 years, I can handle him." She replied as the Crystal guards locked up Sombra and took him to the castle with the princesses. Luna knew she had to do this. Just to figure out if that dream was her reality. //-------------------------------------------------------// Friends and Enemies //-------------------------------------------------------// Friends and Enemies     Luna had been proud of herself for making a good punishment for Sombra even when he deserved it. But to Luna, this was a test to see if he was the one of her dreams or not. But most of the harshness came from Luna's mind of what she would do if he did not follow her rules. So one day, Luna went to go and visit Sombra to give him his dinner.     "Hey Sombra what's going up?" Said Luna.     "Oh nothing just stuck up in prison no biggy. He said, "How's the raising of the moon?"     "Good but before I raise the moon I want you to eat your dinner."     "Yea of course"     "Outside while I raise the moon." Sombra stood in shock as he heard Luna's words when she said it.     "Well are you coming or not?" She asked.     "Oh! Umm yes I'm coming." He replied. As the two headed outside, Sombra laid on a blanket put there by Luna. He watched her as she raised the moon. Then when she was done, she came by and sat kindly next to Sombra who didn't say one word. Then he finally spoke.     "Alright ex-nightmare moon!" He replied. "What are you up too, what sick game are you playing miss goody-two-shoes!"     "Nothing! Nothing at all! Why would you think I would do something?"     "Oh I don't know your good I'm evil you send me away to the underground cave and-"     "And how much fun would that be?"     "Well not very much..." That's when Luna put her hoof on Sombra's and he didn't notice until he saw her smiling at him. He started blushing like a maniac.     "What are you doing you goody-goody! Do touch my hoof like that!" He yelled.     "Well you seemed to have a gloomy face so I decided to help you. Not all people are like my sister Sombra. You should see that I'm a very different person. You heard what I said, if we fall in love and get married I let you go." She replied     "But it's no use, I'm too evil for somepony to love me! Don't you hear them Luna! They think I'm some monster-"     "Well not in my book." That's when she kept her hoof in his and her head nodded on his shoulder. Sombra blushed once more not what to say or do. But he went with it anyway and put his head on top of hers.     "It's working Luna!" She said in her head. "I guess a little kindness can sort out a villainy villain like him. Maybe I should get to know him better before I hit drastic measures!" So Luna got up from Sombra and started asking some questions about him and his life. Even thought she knew half about his life.     "Ok Sombra, so tell me, what was you filly hood all about?" She asked.     "You really wanna know about my filly hood?"     "Yes of course!"     "Ok then." Sombra began telling his story about his adventures of him while he was just a filly. Luna got more and more interested when he told her the part about his parents and how they met. It's seems that Luna's and Sombra's enemyship will change to friendship the a relationship. But she decided to keep her test to herself. Sombra got more and more into telling his story, then he started talking about his life as a teenager then to a adult. He also told Luna about the amazing adventure and why he chose to use black magic. When he finished he then got more interested in Luna telling about her fillyhood.     "So Luna you know about my filly hood, I wanna know about yours." He said.     "Really? You wanna know about my fillyhood?" She asked.     "Yea! I bet it's as good as mine!" He replied.     "Well...ok." So Luna went on and talked about her fillyhood. She told Sombra how Celestia use to always shut her out when they were kids. She also talked about why she became nightmare moon. It was because she was completely jealous of her sister and wanted more attention, but the more popular Celestia got, the meaner she was to Luna. She told him about when she was reformed by the elements of harmony and that Twilight was the nicest one and nice enough to help Luna blend in with the other ponies. So that's why Luna clams down when she loses her temper and hangs out with ponies.     "Wow that's a nice story Luna, I never knew that you were nucleated by your own sister." Sombra said.     "Well I guess sisters aren't always who they are meant to be in the stories." Luna said. She got said after that and hard hard flash backs when Celestia treated Luna like a background character. When he heard her crying, Sombra put his arms around Luna to comfort her.     "I will never shut you out." He said. Luna knew it. She knew he was the one that she could trust, she just had to give him her trust first. Luna put her arms around him to join his embrace. The two hugged fora long time and didn't stop at that. That's when Luna let go of him and took him back to his room. Luna finally knew it, he was the one! //-------------------------------------------------------// Lifetime //-------------------------------------------------------// Lifetime     Luna couldn't be more prouder of herself that she thinks that Sombra is the one. He did hug her when she was feeling down, they might become good old friends, then more, and even become married, she just had to see if he can earn her trust today.  Sombra was a little happy himself.    "Wow! I didn't know I was capable enough to hug her. Her body was so soft and gentle, I wish I could've-"    "Stop right there!" Said something in Sombra's room. It was his reflection. "If your thinking about going out with that little miss goody-goody two shoes!"    "But she's been so nice to me. Nicer than anyone has been"    "Because your evil and she's the enemy who defeated you just because you chose dark powers!" Said his reflection.    "But I think she's trying to make me change. And her deal was that if we fall in love we would get married. I guess she's plans-" that's when Luna walked in and saw Sombra who was staring in awe at his reflection.    "Umm...Sombra? Who were you talking to?" Luna asked.    "Oh! Uh no one my dear-"    "Did you call me 'your dear'?" Luna's heart had been beating but Sombra didn't notice until she started shaking.    "Oh! I'm sorry did I frighten you! I'm such a fool!" Luna knew Sombra was being considerate so she just told him what was going on and why she was shaking around him.    "I had this dream about you and me were dancing and I fell in love with you. But once you told me your name I started to shake and I was scared because-"    "I'm a monster to everyone and that won't change won't it?"    "But your not a monster Sombra, will not really, your not as mean as you were to those fillies." The two sat in silence for a couple a minutes thinking of what just happened. Sombra didn't realize it but he starting to have feelings for Luna. He never felt this way about anyone ever since he had gotten his black magic powers. Luna had shown Sombra true tenderness for the past 2 months to get to know him better and even gave him a better room to sleep. This one was right next to Luna's room which frighted Celestia but it's like what Luna said (if I can handle being nightmare moon for a thousand years, I can handle him). The next day Sombra decided to ask Luna out so they can learn more about each other.     "Hey Luna how's it going?" He asked.     "Good I guess" she replied.     "Well I wanted to know if your available tonight cause I wanted to know-"     "I'd like to go out on a date tonight."     "Just out to eat dinner together. What do ya say Luna?" He asked.     "I'd love to go out tonight with you Sombra." That's when Sombra didn't waist his time but to grab Luna and spin her around. She didn't mind at all. She knew she was close to giving him her trust, she just has to see how this date turns out.      When it turned nine, Luna raised the moon and went straight to her room squealing with joy.      "Ooh I can't wait for this date to become a success! What if me and him dance for a long time and gaze into each other's eyes. What if we even kiss! I finally know what a kiss feels like!" All these thoughts made her squeak and squeal even more. Sombra on the other hand was using his vision to know what it takes to make this date perfect. His thoughs brought a date between Fluttershy and discord. As Fluttershy was claming waiting at the table, discord brought all the good for her so she wouldn't have to get up from he seat. Then when there date got boring, discord would play some music and dance with Fluttershy. Then when the time was right, they would share a nice, long kiss. Sombra was embarrass to do it, but that will only make his date with Luna perfect. So in fifteen minutes the two were ready and headed off to their wonderful and graceful time. When it was time to eat, Sombra would as discord did and make and give food to his beloved Luna. The two would talk about the good, the bad, and the ugly times that happened in their life. Luna would smile at anything Sombra told her, but not at the bad parts. Soon when they got bored, Sombra played the violin and piano duet of Give your Heart a Break. The two danced and danced and Luna knew this was just like her dream, Sombra was twirling her around and around and was having the most splendid time ever. It was near midnight and Luna knew it was time to go, but Sombra knew he had to do one more thing to make this night perfect.      "Luna wait! One more thing for tonight." He said.      "Sure what is it?" She asked.      "May I have a kiss?" Luna was trying to hid it, but in her head she was jumping up and down. So she gave a clam answer to his question.      "Yes of you may." She replied. Sombra didn't waist any one his time but to rap his arms around Luna, as she joined his embrace. The two moved in closer, but Sombra moved back giving up. That's when Luna pushed forward only for her lips to join his. Sombra did nothing but close his eyes and enjoyed being with Luna. The two enjoyed a marvelous kiss for a long time. Then it all came to an end when Luna stepped back for Sombra's embrace.      "Wow! That was-"      "Wonderful!" As the two headed back, they knew they could've never forget a moment like this. Luna however was jumping up and down.      "We kissed! We kissed! We kissed! It was so...so...so.. Eek! I can't even explain it!" All she did was jump and like always Sombra was listening closely to what she was saying.      "I can't believe it!" He said. "She actually enjoyed it. Well miss princess, there's more kindness were that came from." //-------------------------------------------------------// Punishment //-------------------------------------------------------// Punishment          Luna was in her room reading her book enjoying and remembering what happened last night between her and Sombra like it was a night to always remember. Celestia even realized that Luna was in a happy mood when she saw her jumping and squealing like never before. She was happy to see her sister happy, but she never seen her this happy. Even at dinner was happy to go to sleep, that's when Celestia had realized why Luna was so happy. One night when Luna had many meetings, Celestia decided to do something nice and clean Luna's room for her. When Celestia caught a look at all of Luna's books, she then realize she had a diary. Luna has a diary? Celestia knew it would be bad to sneak and do something behind her own sister's back, but she had to because she never knew Luna kept secrets that she didn't even tell her own loving sister. So Celestia read some if Luna's pages, even the funny ones. Then Celestia got to the pages that had to do with Sombra and she went on and read it.         'Dear diary,' she read, ' I had the most craziest dream! I was at a ball waiting for my prince as usual, and then, there he was, a stallion in a blue and black suit. He approached to me and we danced the night away. He twirled me around in a circle and we enjoyed each other in a wonderful embrace. Then when the night was over, I asked for his name. He told it to me, and I fainted. I never realized that my dream could be about the most evil colt of them all....Sombra.' Celestia stared in awe and kept reading the same article over and over again and didn't stop. She even read the part of why Sombra was here in the first place. Celestia almost tore the book apart after she read the article that Luna got finished with yesterday.        'Dear diary, Sombra and I went one a date! And it was so romantic! And it wasn't just the food the he handed to me and the music that he played and we danced to, but it was our kiss that we both shared-' When Luna approached in her room, she saw that Celestia was reading her diary, she got mad.       "What are you doing in my room and why are you reading my diary!" She yelled.       "My question is, why are you falling in love with an evil villain!?" Celestia yelled back. "Were you planning to bring him all along, or is this a punishment?!" Luna did nothing but look at Celestia like she was crazy so she wouldn't know what was going on.       "ANSWER ME!"       "Yes ok! I just wanted to know what it felt like to be loved other than someone like you! Why can't I have any happiness?! Why Tia?! I feel like I'm nightmare moon all over again!"       "Luna I don't want you getting hurt-"       "HURT?! Celestia he's done nothing but suffer and I just made his stay better! I can love whoever I want and if you can't deal with that your not a real sister after all." That's when Sombra walked in to see if anything was going on.       "I hope nothing bad is going on Celestia." He said in his evil voice.       "Luna! Get away from him! He's-" That's when Luna's eyes turned purple, green and red being under Sombra's spell.       "This is a trap! You've tricked my sister into loving you! When she doesn't even love you!"       "Hate is such a strong word! Anyway you know to much so I have to hide you!" Celestia ran around the house leaving the same room Sombra and Luna were in.       "Do me a favor honey." Sombra asked Luna.       "Yes my dear?" Luna replied.       "Will you be a dear and bring you sister to me by force?"       "Of course my dear." Celestia was running until she saw that no one was behind her. But when she turned around, she saw that it was Luna right behind her.       "Oh Luna thank goodness you finally realized that-" That's when Luna raised her horn and shot magic at Celestia.       "Oh no! Luna! He has put you under his spell!" Celestia flew away from her sister who was trying to catch up to her and beat her. She was only shooting her magic with more force only hitting Celestia harder to make her hit the ground.       "L-L-Luna......p-p-please...don't do this..." That's when Luna shot her last struck of magic only to have beating Celestia.       "Excellent my dear!" Said Sombra with a evil laugh.       "Y-Y-You won't get away with this Sombra!" Said Celestia with the last of her strength.       "Oh Celestia! I already have." That's when Sombra stuck his magic only to have Celestia stuck in her nightmare that she was most afraid of.       "LUNA!" Celestia screamed. And Luna heard her sister scream in the loudest she could. Luna knew something was wrong because she knew her sister would never scream like that.       "Um..Princess Luna, is everything alright?" Asked Shining Armor.       "Uh..yes! But I'm afraid I'll have to cut this meeting short." Luna replied.       "Umm..ok" Princess Cadence followed behind Luna. She too heard Celestia scream.       "Do you think Celestia knows?" Cadence asked.       "I hope not." Luna had told Cadence what had been going on between her and Sombra. At first she freaked, but then she understand that Luna had been in love so she didn't mind. When the two were at the castle, all Luna saw was Sombra watching Luna's mirror. Then he turned around with an angry look on his face.       "I really thought this was all real." He said //-------------------------------------------------------// Love and War //-------------------------------------------------------// Love and War       "SOMBRA!! Why in equestria are you reading my diary!?" Luna asked.       "Well the real question is why is this all a game Luna? Do you really love me Luna? Or is this part of your plan to?" Sombra asked.       "Well I...."       "Save it Luna! I know your sick tricks! I already handled your sister for you."       "My what?!"       "But she's all in the past now. Now let's talk about marriage-"       "MARRIAGE?! How could you think about weddings when you put my sister in danger!"       "I thought you reformed like Luna said Sombra, but it seems your still your old evil self!" Said Cadence as her and Luna were backing up and leaving the castle. When Sombra's black smoke blocked their path. In fact it block and locked all the doors.       "Luna call twilight and her friends. I'll handle him." Said Cadence. When Luna did, Cadence had been sucked in a black hole only to join Celestia in nightmares.       "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO HER?! WHERE IS SHE?!" Luna asked.       "Oh don't worry about her Luna. I don't want her in any of our wedding pictures." That's when Sombra transformed everything into a wedding background and transformed Luna into his dark bride. Twilight and her friends showed up in a lick of time only seeing that Luna was forced to do something she didn't want to do.        "PRINCESS LUNA!" They all yelled. That's when Sombra used his magic and put them all in a black hole, but Twilight wasn't falling for it.        "I'm not falling for that trick Sombra! Luna what's going on?" She asked.        "Do you mind! I'm trying to have a wedding here!" Sombra yelled. Twilight wasn't paying attention to him, she was looking at Luna who was under a spell once more.        "Ya put her in a spell!!!" Applejack screamed.        "I'm tired of all these uninvited guests!" Yelled Sombra.        "Why wasn't I invited!?" Yelled Pinkie Pie. Every pony looked at her like she was crazy then all eyes were back on Sombra.        "My dear Luna can you handle these meddling ponies for me?" Sombra asked.        "Yes my dear." Luna replied as she turned her direction to the mane six and her first direction came to Applejack as she speared her and brought her into the black hole and did the rest to the others. Then it was her and Twilight.        "Luna please listen to me! Sombra is tricking you! This is all just his spell so you could join him!" But Luna didn't answer but smile deeply at Twilight, but it was an evil smile.        "How interesting..." Luna said as she used her magic and shot Twilight with one hit only to have knocked her out. And brought her to the dark hole as well. As the wedding continued, Luna was still under Sombra's spell.        When the main six were in the black dungeon, they found Celestia and Cadence in chains.        "CELESTIA, CADENCE!" They all yelled.        "Twilight! How is Luna doing?!" Celestia asked.        "When we got there, she was under a spell, and Sombra ordered her to send us here. I tried I convinced her but all she did was fight fight and fight!" Twilight got into tears but Celestia comforted her.        "Don't worry Twilight. I understand. I too tried to convince her to to come with me. But I guess he used her love for him as a weapon against us. But Luna doesn't know that because the Luna he has is not the real Luna." Celestia replied.        "Then where is the real Luna?" Asked Fluttershy.        "She's at home but she's in her room...." That's when Celestia thought of an idea.        "I know it sounds crazy but I know how Luna beat Sombra."        "How?!" They all said.        "She must become Nightmare Moon once more before Sombra has complete control over Luna. //-------------------------------------------------------// Battle //-------------------------------------------------------// Battle       When Luna came home, she saw that the whole castle had turned into a big wedding room. Then she saw Sombra looking at her deeply in her eyes.        "Sombra what's going on?" She asked.        "Same thing if should be asking you. Why aren't you wearing Your wedding dress?" That when he used his magic to give Luna a dark blue and black dress with a black veil.        "You said once we fall madly in love, we would get married right?" Sombra asked.        "Yes I did. Wait! You love me?" Luna asked.        "Of course! Why wouldn't I!" Sombra said a Luna had a big bright smile on her face and walked along with Sombra to begin their wedding. As Sombra brought up a pony to speak of their marriage, Luna walked down the aisle.        Back in Sombra's dungeon, all the ponies could see what was going on.        "But we can't turn her into Nightmare moon-"        "Twilight! We know you can't, neither of us can! But Luna can transform in to nightmare moon herself." Said Cadence.        "But how?! Y'all know she'll never do it!" Applejack replied.        "We know. But we just have to find a way to connect with Luna if we're ever gonna beat him." Said Celestia.        "But how are we ever gonna get in touch with her if she's stuck getting married to an evil, good-looking, emperor!?" Squealed Rarity.        "Gonna have to find a way..."         Back at the castle, Luna and Sombra were getting to the part of there I dos and I don'ts. It seems that there speaker was Derpy.        "Do you Sombra take this lovely prince as your wife?" She said.        "Of course I do!" He said.        "And do you Luna take Sombra to be your...umm...husband?" Just before Luna said yes, she heard screams of the filled and ponies that Sombra trapped in their nightmares. Not only that but she heard her friends and sister call her name.        "Sombra?" Luna asked. "I thought you said you took those fillies out of their nightmares."        "I did! Well it seems they can't stop having nightmares-"        "Or you didn't take them out their nightmares at all and you lied to me!" Luna yelled.        "Now why would I-"        "Not only that but I heard my friends and my sister telling me that you trapped them!"        "Well I-"        "I thought you wouldn't do this! I thought you had changed!"        "Luna please listen-"        "But it seems Celestia was right! I never should've trusted you! You are a monster!"        "ENOUGH!!!!" Sombra yelled when he used his smoke to grab Luna who was fighting back.        "Your really stubborn pony huh?" He said evilly. "I guess you know my secret huh? I never really loved you! I only faked it so I could earn your trust so I could really become king!"        "Sombra-"        "But you fell in love with me, and you dumb enough to trust me. So all I have to do is weaken your power, send you to my prison, and take over equestria." He finished. Luna felt nothing but weakness when he let her go.        "Now let's finish this wedding! Weirdo pony get back here!" Sombra commanded.        "I'm not a weirdo! I have feelings you know!" Yelled Derpy.        "Do you think I care! Now finish the speaking" Sombra said as he pushed Derpy back and forced her to stand in a spot were Luna and Sombra were.        "Finish speaking!" He yelled.        "A-A-And do you Luna take Mr.Meany-" Sombra growled while Derpy stuck her tongue at him.        "And who do you think your growling at!?" While the too were waiting for Luna's answer, she was trying to escape.        "Well she's not answering-"        "She said she does you idiot!" Sombra yelled.        "Meany!" Derpy said once more. "By the power invested in me I now pronounce you too princess and meany!" Derpy said. After that, Sombra used his magic to swing Derpy back to the wall only to to make her have a concussion.        "DERPY!!" Luna yelled. But before she could move, she was forced to kiss Sombra, only this time she did not enjoy it. After that he used his magic to push Luna to the wall as well.        "Now that I'm king, you are no use to me! That's when he used his magic against Luna and put Derpy and Luna in the dungeon, only giving Luna more of the pain. //-------------------------------------------------------// True Friends //-------------------------------------------------------// True Friends       "Luna?! LUNA?!" Celestia yelled only trying to wake up her dear beloved sister.       "T-T-Tia?" Luna asked. Everyone was in relief to see that Luna was ok, even Derby.       "Oh Luna thank goodness your ok! Thank you for saving me!" Derby squealed.       "But equestia is at risk and we need your help." Celestia said as she caught up with her sister to give her a nice deep sisterly hug.       "But there's nothing I can do to stop him. He has weaken me by saying he doesn't love me-"       "That's what your weaken by darling?! True love?!" Said Rarity. Everypony shushed her while she stood there embarrassed.       "Luna, I know you thought Sombra didn't like you, but I like you, a lot..I like it when you raise the moon, and even sometimes when you get mad, I understand your pain. I like you Luna, as a good friend." Said Derby. After hearing that from her true friend, Luna got her magic and trust back to herself.       "Thank you dear Derpy!! You are a good friend in deed to help me earn my magic back! Thank you so much!" Luna said as she gave Derpy a big friendly hug like she would to anypony.       "Now dear sister? How do I stop Sombra!?" Luna asked.       "I'm sorry to say this Luna but, you must become nightmare moon once more." Celestia replied.       "But...but..but I-"       "I understand it's a hard thing to do but her magic is more powerful than Sombra's, but this time he'll have nothing against you, because you have friendship by your side, other than the friends we already knew." Celestia said. That's when Derby stood by Luna's side. After that, Luna felt a spark in her heart. She had something better than love, but a true friend by her side to guide her. The magic of friendship.       "I know something better than becoming nightmare moon again!" Luna said.       "What is it?" They all screamed.       "The power of friendship." That's when all the princesses horns glowed and so do Rarity's, Derby's, Rainbow Dash's, and Fluttershy's wings flew up together, and Pinkie Pie and Applejack flew up together. All of them worked together only to let them escape from the prison. Luna did as her sister said and became nightmare moon, but a different version. Luna and Derby flew up together to break Sombra's barrier and escaped his prison while the others stayed.       Back at the kingdom, Sombra already changed something's around and made a new look to the castle himself. That is until he saw Luna and Derby who were both flying towards him. He then laughed and shot his magic, but when it didn't hit them, he got mad.       "Is this some kind of joke?!" He yelled.       "No Sombra! I have found something better than love, I've found friendship. A friend who loves me for who I am no matter what I do!" Luna said. They were in a hardship battle and with every shot Luna and Derby hit, the weaker Sombra got. He didn't understand how strong Luna got but he knew none of this was possible.       "No! This is impossible! I took all of you magic!" He yelled.       "That is true Sombra, but not even you could handle the most powerful magic of all!" Luna said.       "The magic of friendship!" Derpy yelled as she spread her wings to touch Luna's and a magical spark came across from them and beat Sombra.       "NOO!!!!" He yelled as his magic disposed and he got weaker and weaker.       "Goodbye Sombra" Luna said.       "Goodbye meany!" Derby said as she stuck her tongue out at him. That's when they used their magic to send Sombra to his underground prison which brought Celestia, Cadence, and the others back. //-------------------------------------------------------// Epilogue //-------------------------------------------------------// Epilogue         There she was, sitting in the cold dark presents that was known to be Sombra's room. Celestia came to check on her to see if she was ok or not. Knowing Luna, she was probably there to morn or step on his floor, or maybe even kiss him goodbye. But all Luna did was stare at his mirror, the next thing she did was grab a necklace that was left on her dresser, and throw it on the ground only to step on it and crush on it and throw it in a black hole. Then, Luna stepped up to his mirror, looked at it closely, and punched straight through it. Celestia saw the whole thing, and worried about her sister, so she came to see if she was ok.         "Luna!", she yelled, "What is wrong? You've been acting strange today!"         "I just punched his mirror so I could despose of it, I should've listened to you when you said to check my surroundings, I just wanted-"         "Somepony to love other than me and your friends."         "Yea. I need to choose my stallions better and get to know them first, you know, before I start jumping to facts.", said Luna who was disappointed in only herself and no one else. Celestia realized it, and came to comfort her.         "Luna, It's all in the past now. He will never have a heart and you know that.", she said.         "I know, I stil can't believe I was in love with him. What was I thinking."         "Well you are young, you don't know love if it hit you in the eye. Even with Discord its-"         "WAIT??DID YOU SAY....DISCORD!?" Luna yelled.         "I'm kidding! I'm kidding." Celestia said as she laughed at her sister who started making the duck face, but in a pouty way.         "So...since Sombra's gone, who will be my next lover." Luna asked.         "Well my little angel, that's up to you. It's who you choose to be your special somepony." Celestia said. As Celestia and her little sister went off to the main room, they had realized that Twilight brought her friends and her friends brought some more ponies.         "THANK YOU LUNA!!" They all screamed.         "What about me?!" Derby said sitting in the corner pouting as well.         "Now how could we forget about the pony who helped Luna." Twilight said as everypony  gave her a big group hug. The ponies ended up having a party in Luna's and Derby's honor. Luna, however, was still wondering if she will ever fine her true love once more. That's when a familiar red colt stepped on the porch standing next to Luna.         "You ok there Luna?" He asked. Soon Luna turned only to see big Macintosh.         "Oh hi you must be Big Macintosh! Yes! I'm just quit alright. It's just-"         "You miss that Sombra dude huh?" He asked.         "Umm....yes pretty much..." She replied "how did you know?"         "I've heard you had some good times with him, it's like family." Luna didn't understand why but Big Macintosh was right. It had been five hours and she still missed him. If so, inside and outside, Luna had been angry and furious at him. She took one look at Big Mac and then turned back to the sky. He was right. She did miss him.         "Your right Big Mac! I can't believe it." Luna said with tears. "I don't wanna be cursed for the rest of my life thinking about him. He's evil and dark-". Luna fell to the ground in tears with pain and sorrow. She kept crying until she saw a red figure give her a comforting hug. It was Big Macintosh.         "Luna....It's ok. Ponies make mistakes all the time. Like when I let the family down when I decided to take a break from farming. Applejack kicked my butt! But then I got over it and now look at me, I'm ok. You can get over Sombra and how you felt about hi-" Before Big Mac could finish, Luna hugged him back and he joined her embrace.         "Thanks you for believing in me, you're the best friend I ever had."Luna whispered in his ear.         "No problem." The two went back to the ballroom to join the others. Luna knew she had friends by her side anytime she needed them. But Luna had other things on her mind. Does she love Big Macintosh? //-------------------------------------------------------// Mirrors //-------------------------------------------------------// Mirrors   It had been an ordinary day in Canterlot with all the princesses in equestria was getting ready for their meeting. Since there had been a new princess added, Candence, Celestia, and Luna decided to plan a meeting for Twilight so she could learn her royal duties. Once Twilight had walked in the princesses began their meeting.     "So Twilight, what do you think about being a princess?", asked Candence.     "Oh! It's been great! I wish I could see my friends though.", Twilight   replied.     "Don't worry Twilight you and Luna will be able to go on your trips.",   said Celestia. Twilight was confused but didn't realize Luna was actually   going on her trip to the moon to see her moon creatures. So it was her   and Fluttershy heading to the moon.      "Well dear sister you can't actually expect me to leave you here by   yourself!", Luna yelled.      "Luna please don't worry! I could handle myself when you were   Nightmare Moon. I can watch over equestria." , Celestia replied.      "Well ok dear sister, until then I need fair Fluttershy to get ready   for our moon trip this Saturday!", Luna exclaimed. When the meeting   was over, Luna ran excitedly to her room. She ran straight to her mirror   and put her hair in a ponytail and thought of new ideas and fun stuff. Luna   loved her mirror, she would use it to go into ponies dreams, she would also   use this for future and past memories. But in the mirror Luna still asks herself the   same question: "Why can't I get married?". She thought of Shining Armor and Candence's   wedding, she wanted one herself ,but who would she get married to? All these thoughts ran   through her head, wondering what type of wedding it would be. She thought of her moon   gown and imagined herself walking down an aisle next to her husband. She did have feelings   for Shining Armor but got over him weeks ago. So Luna just sat in her room reading romantic   and even making them herself. Luna dreams as much as she can but she's still waiting for that   special somepony.         It had been noon and Luna had been up all night reading and even catching up on her old   books. Then Celestia came to check on her.         "Luna, are you ok? Why are you still up?", she asked.         "Oh! I'm ok I'm just catching up on my reading!", she replied. That reminded Celestia that   Twilight had a library so Luna can read new books an not these old dusty ones.         "You know Luna? Twilight has a library with all types of romance books, wanna stop by her   Tree tomorrow to get some?", Celestia asked. That's when Luna once again jumped once more.         "Oh I would love that!", she replied.         "Ok good. We'll go first thing in the morning.", Celestia replied. Once the 2 sisters headed back    to their rooms, Luna was wondering what types of romance novels Twilight had and couldn't wait    to see them all and chose the right one.
