The story of Moon Shield

"It's going to be long story. So it was like this..." Right when Moon Shield wanted start talking, he remembered something that would make it more fun. "Just let me do something first.." His hands started to glow in nice midnight blue aura. Then he moved his hands in circular motion  and it leaved a bit brighter blue line in  the air. Its center started to fill with blue aura and it became hard and solid, like a magic screen. "There." He said proudly looking at his creation. And everypony was wondering what could it be. Then Twilight decided to ask.

"Hey Moon, what is that thing?" She asked, still thinking what the strange object could be.

"Oh this? It is something i learned long ago. This screen shows some memories i remember, i made it because... well it be more fun to listen and you all will understand better." He sleepishly smiled, while rubbing his hand on back of head.

"Later, you are going to learn me that. And show other spells or ''what you learned'' you know." Twilight said, seriously looking at him. "Now you can continue with your story."

"Ohhh this is going to be so exiting!" Pinkie smiled brightly, jumping in her place while sitting.

"Well it happened like this..." Magic screen goes pitch black, silky, colorful lines appearing on it, white dots poking out from blackness and getting shape of stars. And in screen's middle could be seen little star, getting brighter and brighter until...it explodes, or as other says, turn into supernova, a dying star. "I was born in dying star. Most of dragons born like this, but i was exeption. You see, i'm not really a true dracony, well in part yes, but real me is a fire dragon pony. I'm expert at knowing fire spells and using them. But i can only change into that, in time of need or if i try really hard. There was other kind of dragons, but they didn't looked like Spike. Oh it was far from cute and cuddly teen dragon. Most of them had short legs, bigger arms, insanely sharp claws, big body and enormous wings. And yes they had scales. And some looked like giant, flying snakes, and others didn't had any wings at all, but still could fly. But the thing is, every each of them was special. They all lived incredibly long time. So, some were fire dragons, others could control water and other elements. Some could control light and dark. Others were very fast and others could make items or things only with a power of mind. I had a teacher, she was a mirage dragon, last of her kind. Her name is Saphira, she can control other creatures minds without a flaw. She was best teacher i had. She learned me how to use my powers properly and fly. But then something bad happened... There was dragon named Darkus. He was dark magic fire user. He wanted to have more power." Screen changes, showing Moon in his real form. He had fiery red mane and tail which was on fire. He had large and big dragon wings on his back. In screen he looked much more bulky and his his hands and hooves was on fire, eyes were same blue, but also looking like dragon's. Then it changed into him and next to him was giant blue, with lines of purple scales dragon. His teacher Saphira. While Moon was talking, it showed other dragons, normal and then snake like ones. When he started talk about Darkus, screen changed into pitch black and in it only could be seen glowing red eyes.

"So wait...you are a fire dragon pony?" Spike asked Moon, with smile on his face.

"As I said, yes i am. When I'm in that form, I can use a lot of moves with fire. Like fire breathing, shooting it, turning ground around me into lava and more things like that." Moon replied him smiling and with calm face.

"Ahh shut up! I want to hear rest of it!" Pinkie shouted at Spike.

"Ok ok, i'm quiet now." He made move with his claws on his mouth, as he like zipped his mouth.

"Okay...as i was saying..." He picks up cup with tea, drinks some of it, clears his voice and continues it. " When elder dragons knew of his plan, Saphira went to stop him. I of course, followed her... and I had no idea in what trouble i am getting into... When I was there I saw them fighting. I saw how Darkus wanted bite her in neck, so good that I had my own made weapons with me, I took pulled out my sword and shield and flew at him at full speed and force, but when my shield contacted with him, it shattered into pieces, but I sent him flying to mountain. Saphira had enough time to get up and heal herself. But she did something what I didn't expected. She opened some kind of portal trow my bag in there and... punched me in it, because there wasn't any other way, because I would never leaved her." Moon said it with big sadness in his voice.

"Wow Moon... I wouldn't think you are that brave. I mean, you stood up to overpowered, giant dragon, just to save another one!" Rainbow told with much surprise and shock in her voice, while trowing her hands in air and jumping bit in air while sitting, looking closely at his face.

" She wasn't 'just another one'. She was my family, everything I had... Last words I heard from her was ''I'm sorry Moon, but there was no other way. I'll be ok, so don't worry about me''. After that everything went black and I didn't saw her since that." Moon looked down sadly at floor. It was really sad scene for others.

"Oh don't worry Moonie, i'm sure she is fine. You wasn't alone there with much power. What about other dragons? I'm sure they all beaten his dragony a-" Pinkie almost said it, but was stoped by Applejack.

"Ah Pinkie! Hush with words now sugarcube. This story is swearing free." The farmer pony placed her hand on Pinkies mouth, then party pony thinked a bit and pushed her hand away.

"Hey! Only i can break fourth wall!! And you silly filly! I wanted to say 'Beaten his dragony ARMOR." Pinkie raised her voice for last word. Moon noticed Twilight waving him to continue, he understood her gesture and continued it.

"So when I woke up, I was in some kind of forest. I was walking around there for like half an hour, till I met somepony or should I say, someone. I met group of tech like girls. They were a group ran away from some tyrant. I don't remember rest of who was there. So what I remember, that their land was taken over by factories, in which they people were being enslaved, but they had a secret base. It was kinda strange to see them, how they going so well without magic. Most of the things there were mechanized. And they were fighting against some kind of mad scientist with named "The Analiator". Anyways, I lived there for 3 years. When I was helping make them some kind of device, which should with one blast, shut off all fabrics and clean the air once again, and others were working on a portal. That remote from bombs reacted in strange way. It made some kind of electrical charge on me and the portal, it opened up and exploded. And that's how I got here with you guys." Moon finished his tea ,trowed a piece of candy in air and caught it with his mouth. All girls hang their mouths open from his story. There was silence for few minutes. So Spike decided to break it.

"So you say, you are from another dimension, been with overpowered dragons, sent to some kind of planet, and accidentally ended up here?" He asked Moon with confused face.

"Yup, you are right with everything..." Moon said casualy.

"So what are you going to do now?" Asked quietly Fluttershy.

"I guess first, place to find to live. Train a lot, get stronger, forge myself some gear and make my way back to my own dimension, and then...end it once and for all."Moon said with much passion, courage and bravery in his voice, slamming fist into his open hand.

"Hmm...I think I'll have to send letter to the princess Celestia, about you. Spike time to go home." She gets up, but gets stopped by Moon's hand.

"Wait, i can teleport you back there." Moon said while smiling. Suddenly Pinkie gasped and ran outside, leaving pink trail behind her. Moon and others look at swinging door with faces as they saw something really strange.

"Anyways, you said you can teleport us back to library?" Twilight asked him with smile on her face. She whispers to Spike "I would like to see that, because powerful alicorn can teleport two ponies with him or her, but after it getting really tired and magic level decreases drastically."

Moon of course heard it all and thought of something fun.

"Everypony, touch other ponies shoulder, then put your hands on my shoulders." Raity gently put her hand on his left shoulder and Twilight right one. Then Spike put claw on Twilight's shoulder and Fluttershy put her hand on Spike's. Rainbow Dash put her hand on Rarity's shoulder and Applejack put her's on Rainbow's. Moon looked to one side, then another one. He put middle and index fingers to his forehead and closed his eyes, after few moments, air shook and they disappeared in middle of air. They appeared in library. They let go everyone and by look on their faces, this kind of travel was first time.

"H...how...how did you do that..?" Asked Twilight weakly. She almost fall down, but was caught by Spike.

"It's something i learned from others on my adventures, only very concentrated creatures can do this kind of thing. I was trained good too." Said Moon as he rubbed hand behind his head, smiling.

"Okay... Spike, take a letter." Twilight commanded her assistant and he saluted, after he came back with quill, bottle with ink and parchment. He put quill in bottle and got ready to write. Twilight loudly said as he was writing.

"Dear Princess Celestia. Yesterday something strange happened. A colt named Moon Shield has crash landed here in Ponyville, next to the library. He that day was unconscious, so i could not say anything about him yet, because i did not knew anything, but today he woke up and told everything about himself. And he is a dracony, half dragon. So I guess you would like to see him. Your student, Twilight Sparkle." As Twilight finished her speech for letter, Spike put last dot and sent it in green flames. Moon was a bit confused of his action.

"Um Spike, why did you burned that letter?"

"I didn't burned it. You see, my flames are magical, so like that I can send letters to princess." Spiked said laughing at Moon's face expression after he heard it.

"And what this princess does? Is she ruler here or something?" Moon asked still confused a bit. After he asked that, everypony made big collective gasp.

"Princess Celestia is most important pony in this land. She is ruler of Equestria and the raiser of the sun. Then there is Princess Luna, she is Celestia's younger sister and raiser of the moon, as well as ruler of land too." Explained Twilight to him. Suddenly Spike burped letter up, opened it and started to read it.

"My most faithful student Twilight, i'm very glad you told me about your current condition. I would like you and other elements come to the castle tomorrow, as well with your new friend. I would like to talk to him private at once. Yours teacher Princess Celestia. " Spike finished loudly reading letter from the Princess.

"Looks like you going to meet Princess herself." Rainbow said as she leaned on Moon. Then a pink letter got pushed under the door and Rarity picked it up.

"Looks like we been invited to a party. A Pinkie styled party." Rarity said smiling.

"Ohhh better get ready to move your hooves, because you have never seen party like this." Spike said patting Moon's back. Suddenly Fluttershy jumped, but saw that nothing happened.

"Umm Moon... isn't your wing broken..?" Fluttershy asked watching carefully Moon.

"I think its already healed up. You see, I heal fast, really fast. Now...Spike if you could..." Spike understood what he wanted, he raised his claw and slashed it almost touching Moon's wings. All bandages fell off him, he spread his wings making few cracks, because he didn't moved them for longer time. Fluttershy watched everything dumbfounded. "So, let's go there?" He moved to door and opened them. They all walked to town's famous sweet shop. In there they been greeted by pink party pony.

After a Pinkie's 'Welcome to pony vile party' for Moon, he almost walked up to bed and fallen into it, falling asleep fast, thinking "tomorrow gonna be an interesting day."

But...in other place and other universe somedragon evil was waiting. To him flew much smaller one. "Oh great master of darkness Darkus, the spell Is half completed." Smaller said one.

"Good...MWAHAHAHAHA! SOON I'LL GET MY REVENGE FOR THAT PRICKY FIRE BALL!" The large black dragon laughed loudly with deep growling voice, as smaller one looked at him with fear, and farther away, in magic cage was laying unconscious blue, good dragoness. Saphira...
