Ponies turned to wave to her, and she simply nodded back, saying not a word as she passed them. It left them confused, and it left Pinkie, in a way, humored. She continued her slow walk, smiling on her way to Ponyville's library. Her soft hoofsteps brought Pinkie to her destination quicker than she thought they would. That, or maybe she was just too preoccupied to notice time flying by. She brought her mouth to the doorknob, but shook her head, knocking on it instead. There was a moment of waiting, causing her to wonder if anypony was home. The door eventually opened with Twilight Sparkle standing behind it. “Good morning Pinkie, what's going on?” Pinkie gave a weary smile, lowering her head. The unicorn scratched her head, looking at her friend. “Is everything okay?” There were times that left Twilight confused, when she desperately needed an answer to a problem she could never solve. The way she saw Pinkie shake her head twisted and warped her heart. After her heart had been thoroughly twisted and warped, she stepped aside to let Pinkie into the library. The smile she gave faded, and Twilight's mind shot off in multiple directions, trying to figure out what was going on. Pinkie Pie seated herself, and Twilight did the same. She tried to cheer Pinkie up by smiling, there weren't many other options. Pinkie returned the grin, and Twilight sighed in relief. The pink mare looked around, and then back to Twilight, who stared intently. Pinkie's body shook wildly and without warning. Her hooves flailed around in a dangerous manner, knocking against the wooden table and causing her to fall off of the chair. Twilight opened her mouth to speak, but the earth pony was quick to make more movements. She pointed towards her mouth, making some zipping motion. Twilight could only tilt her head. “Pinkie, are you trying to say...” The pink mare nodded, offering a frown to support the notion. She prodded Twilight with a hoof, throwing her foreleg in the direction of the door. Pinkie got up and ran towards it, as Twilight calmly followed, opening the door with her magic. The mare smiled to herself, letting the sun wash over her once more. She looked at Twilight who was for the most part, nervous. It was quite amusing to see someone as logical and calculating as her to be so clueless. Despite that, things needed to be done, and Pinkie ignored the thought. Pinkie poked her once more to get her attention, now shaking her legs wildly and suspending herself mid-air to get some point across. Twilight shrugged, causing Pinkie to glare at her. The mare awkwardly patted Twilight's head and pointed back to the library door, falling over and picking herself back up. She recalled memories, very pestering memories. “Oh, right. What's your 'Pinkie Sense' telling you now?” Pinkie shrugged, widening her eyes. She motioned around with her arms making a circle as wide as she could. “Big?” She nodded in response, repeating the gesture to further emphasize her point. The pink mare jerked her head in a direction, taking to a moderately paced gallop. Twilight's eyes widened, as she frantically tried to keep pace with the pony in front of her. It would be a very interesting day for her. Pinkie looked behind to make sure that Twilight was keeping up. She wouldn't make any progress if she wasn't. Twilight's expression was one of concern, it nearly concerned Pinkie herself. She almost felt sorry for the unicorn, but it needed to be done, for her at least. Besides, maybe she'd be okay with helping her out. The party pony stopped in her tracks, causing Twilight to bump into her, landing dazed on the ground.  As she picked herself up, she saw a familiar face, and perhaps the answer to her problems. Twilight grinned as she trotted closer. “Zecora, we're so lucky you're in Ponyville today!” The zebra looked towards Twilight, opening her mouth, but without a word coming out. She meekly smiled, pointing her hoof towards Pinkie, and nodding. Twilight put two and two together, and gasped at the realization. “Y-You too?” Twilight bit her lip. The zebra nodded. Pinkie stepped in to motion with her hooves once more. She threw her head back and opened her mouth, putting a hoof next to it. Zecora shrugged, making an odd circular motion with her forelegs. The pink mare smiled and nodded intently, to which Zecora shook her head. Pinkie Pie threw her limbs about wildly, gritting her teeth. After she stopped, she dramatically sank her face into her hooves. Twilight had no idea what was going on, but she was hoping that it'd be some form of progress. She stared absent-minded at the two ponies, both of them flailing their forelegs around in increasingly nonsensical ways. A turquoise-coated unicorn joined the two, standing upright and pretending to have deformed hooves of some sort. Sighing to herself, the unicorn backed away to collect her thoughts. Nothing came to her, every logical explanation she came up with was shot down as soon as she thought of it. Pinkie and Zecora looked back at Twilight, who appeared to be lost in her train of thought, or her thoughts of trains. Zecora oddly motioned towards the unicorn who sat by herself. Pinkie shrugged, tilting her head slightly. The other unicorn walked away on her two rear legs, leaving the mares to deal with their own problems. “Do you want to go to a clinic?” Twilight turned to ask. Pinkie was quick to shake her head in disapproval. She brought a hoof to her mouth and fell onto her back. Zecora looked towards Twilight and shrugged. She shook her head as well, offering a frown. “Well, do you have a better solution?” Pinkie brought a hoof to her chin, as the millions of pink gears in her brain started to spin, making the most magical of magic to happen. Pinkie gave a wide grin, shooting her foreleg up. She looked at Zecora, and nodded at something the zebra didn't understand. She put a hoof against Twilight, and started galloping again, Zecora trailing behind her. Twilight sighed once more, taking to her hooves. Twilight groaned at all the running. Ponies like Rainbow Dash or Applejack would be okay with it, but she was neither of them. She just wanted to stay back at the library that day, but of course, there was always something going on in Ponyville. Whatever happened to Pinkie and Zecora, she wanted to get it over with as soon as possible. The three stopped outside of the library once more as Pinkie quickly opened the door and rushed in. Twilight and Zecora entered as well, the latter nodding her head in reverence of her collection. Pinkie trotted up the staircase and moved into Twilight's room, as if she were trying to make as much noise as possible. Twilight looked at Zecora, who shrugged at the pony's spontaneous nature. Pinkie frantically dug her hooves wherever she could, opening containers and searching desperately. She searched under Twilight's bed, pulling out a folded leather suit and a pair of hoof-cuffs. You learn something new about your friends every day. Pinkie quickly slid the items back under the bed, standing up on her hooves before the other two mares entered. “Alright Pinkie, what is it?” Twilight asked. Pinkie traced out a rectangle with her hooves, pretending to draw squiggly lines of some sort on it. She imitated the action of holding something in front of her mouth while she blew on it. Twilight brought a hoof to her chin, looking around. The mare trotted up to her desk, pulling it open. She pulled out a quill and a piece of parchment, turning to smile as Pinkie nodded in approval. Zecora opened her mouth, but Pinkie shoved a hoof in it before anything could happen. Pinkie gave her a menacing glare, slowly pulling herself away. Zecora softly raised a hoof and opened her mouth once more, but thought against it. She sighed and closed her eyes shut. “Greetings, Twilight Sparkle. It is so nice to see you again.” Princess Celestia's regal figure stood outside the library. Twilight bowed and stepped aside. “Please Princess, come in.” The unicorn pointed to Pinkie Pie with her hoof, she was sitting alone at the table. “As I mentioned in the letter, she can't speak. I'm not sure about Zecora, but she ran away for some reason. If you could get to her after Pinkie, that would be wonderful.” “Interesting, I'll be sure to help out your other friend.” The princess nodded, bringing herself closer. It always hurt her to see a pony have such a supernatural problem. It happened more often than one would think over the course of her long rule. “How are you feeling right now?” she asked. Pinkie Pie snickered, looking away from the alicorn. Celestia glanced over at her student, who shrugged in response. “Can you try your best to explain to me when this started happening?” she asked as a look of motherly concern formed on her face. She placed a hoof on Pinkie's left shoulder, trembling erratically. “April Fools!” Pinkie screamed, jumping in the air and causing the Princess to stumble away. Twilight's jaw dropped as she stared at the pink mare who danced in circles in front of the Princess. Princess Celestia brought a hoof to her mouth as she chuckled heartily. “You really planned that out well!” The Princess smiled. “You see though, the joke's really on you,” she said as her horn started to glow, a magical aura enveloping Pinkie Pie.
