Author's Note

I'm putting the author's notes as their own chapter so that, no matter how you choose to read the story, you'll get here last. So if you haven't read the whole thing, just back the heck up, mister.

First, the song. It's marvelous and you've likely never heard it.

Listen to the lyrics and you'll find out why this story was written the way it was. Unfortunately, I was so caught up in working all the parts of the song into the piece that I sort of forgot the part where you're supposed to write a story people will enjoy. :B Oops. I find that reading it chronologically makes it more of a happy shipfic, while reading it numerically emphasizes the point of the story. Just in case you needed a reason to read this twice.

This story's format was strongly influenced by Cerulean by Cherax Destructor, who also did the reading. Go read it, it'll give you even more Rainbow Dash shipping to enjoy.
