When Everything Goes Wrong

I can't remember the last time I saw the Sun's beautiful smile... Nor can I remember seeing smiles at all. Pinkie used to do that all the time before she betrayed us. Why would she...? I mean, sure, she was being controlled by the darkness, but... still! How? Why? I just don't understand! There has to be a more logical reason for this! ...Ugh, here I go again. Trying to find logic. Why do I even bother?  It won't change anything.

Nothing will.

"Twilight?" A soft voice called. "Twilight? Are you okay?"

The purple Alicorn looked over to see Fluttershy. "Yes, Shy. I'm fine."

"OH! Thank goodness!" The yellow Pegasus hurriedly, yet timidly gave her Royal friend a hug. "I was so worried about you! You were looking off into space... and talking to yourself about... 'Her'." Twilight Sparkle sighed. "Stop referring to Pinkie Pie like that! She can't do anything to us!" The two ponies then glanced over to the pink one, who was sitting in a corner,  locked up in chains. Pinkie looked terrible. Her mane was frizzy and completely insane, also a little flat. Her eyes that once shimmered a bright, happy blue, were now dull and grey. She was glaring at all of the other ponies in the room, breathing heavily. "Oh, Twilight, " she whispered creepily, "of course I can." She then began to chuckle.

"Pinkie... what happened to you? Why are you acting like this?" A blue Pegasus with short, choppy, rainbow hair asked. Pinkie Pie smiled back at her in return. "Come on, DASHIE! You k-know you L-LIKE me this way!! Hehehheheh!"

After that remark, Dash took a small step back, quickly wishing she hadn't. "AHH!" She lept up, realizing she'd stepped in blood.

Pinkie licked her lips....

"Pankie! Dun' yew dare even think 'bout it!" Applejack shouted, knowing this side of her friend all too well. "Naw, we've let ya have as much as ya need... You ain't gettin' no more!" This only made Pinkie smirk.

"Okie...dokie...lokie...." She whispered. ".....We'll just have to see about that."
