A New World, A New Life, Time to Start Living...

"When I passed by... I had a feeling that it was him, but I did have my doubts about it."

"Well? Was it him... was it your little brother."

"Well yes and no, you see I have two brothers: Jero and Alexander. When I was flying back home I couldn't believe it, I found Alexander. But you would not believe what he looks like, I thought he would be an earth pony but he's not," I said excitedly.

"Well don't keep me waiting, tell me what he looks like!"

"I don't know if I should... you see I am not really comfortable," I said playfully.

She smiled, I always loved her smile; I laid there on the bed with my hoofs behind my head and I was staring at the sealing above. She jumped on the bed and laid next to me, she pressed her body close to mine and started to nuzzle my neck, "Well? are you comfortable now?" she asked.

I chuckled "You always know what makes me happy, don't you?" we rubbed our noses together and I gave her a gentle kiss on her lips. She was the one, I thought, I may of had girlfriends back on earth but none of them understood me like her... my little Ditzy Doo.

"What are you looking at?" she asked in some what of a concerned manner.

"I am looking at a beautiful mare who I love with all my heart," she blushed. I started to stroke her beautiful yellow mane, "you will meet Alexander today actually, we have a little time to ourselves before we head off to the Castle."

She gasped "Your brother lives in the Castle?!"

I laughed, "It would seem that I am part royalty, I can wait for you to meet him."

We started to cuddle, "I love you Killjoy."

I smiled, "I love you too Ditzy; please call me Glaze."

"Good morning my love..," I said while opening my eyes, "how did you-" I stopped , he was not in bed besides me. I quickly sat up in bed and looked around the bedroom. I sighed, these nightmares or dreams he has been having are getting out of control, he hasn't been sleeping well for awhile now. And I worry about him, I started to get out of bed, "Tia!" I called out, "Tia where are you?"

"I am over here my sister," she replied. I found her standing in the middle of the door frame to the bedroom,"Did you sleep well?" she asked.

"I slept fine, but what about Alex, our love?" I asked in a very worried tone.

Tia's warm smile soon faded away, "I don't know my sister, I haven't seen him all morning. I thought he was still in bed with you."

"No. He is not," I walked over to Tia. "What is happening to our love? I fear that these Nightmares are getting worst. Do you think that these dreams he has been having lately are actually 'natural' nightmares?"

"No, I don't believe so," she replied worriedly. "I'll have a look around the Castle, don't worry my sister I will find him. But why aren't your sleep spells working?"

I looked down, "They are working but I feel that something is blocking them, keeping them from working. I have a strange feeling that something is stopping them, but why?" I sat on the floor. I felt tears flow down my cheeks and I began to cry. Tia sat in front of me and wrapped her wings around me.

"It's okay my sister, once I find him I will talk to him and see if there is any more we can do for him," she wiped my tears and put a gentle hoof to my chin. "Have faith sister."

I felt my tears dry up and a smile spread across my face, I hugged Tia back. She stood up and left the bedroom.

I felt a nudge on my shoulder, I was too tired to even respond. I continued to sleep until I felt something wet slide down my cheek. I opened my eyes to find an opened book covering my face, I placed it besides me. I sighed deeply, I was beginning to feel tired all the time, even throughout the day I felt the wanting to fall to the ground and just sleep there for hours on end. But the weren't letting me do that, I turned to my left and I was greeted by the beautiful face of Celestia, her warm smile made even a tired soul like me smile.

"Good morning my sweet," she said while giving me a kiss.

I looked at her, I felt my smile go away as I placed my head back against a bookshelf behind me, "I couldn't sleep again, these dreams are getting worst every night and I am no closer to finding out what is causing them." I closed my eyes, trying to hold back the tears caused by the horrors of my memory of the dreams. I soon felt Celestia's warm body cuddling up to my weak and sleepless one. I opened my eyes to see that Celestia started to nuzzle my neck; I soon thought not of the things I have seen or heard in the dreams, but of Celestia and Luna loving me and caring for me. I soon spoke, "Did you too miss me in bed again?" I chuckled. I would always try to be humorous during situations like these, but I would always fail.

She looked up, she had a look of concern and worriment on her face, "Luna and I are worried about you. These sleepless nights are not doing you any good. Yes, we miss you in bed knowing that you are suffering inside." She started to rub her wing across my chest, "We can help you, please let us help. It brings sadness in our hearts to see you suffer. Let us help."

I sighed, "I don't know,... I just don't want you two to worry about me. I am sure that these dreams will go away... in time."

She smiled, "Your such a bad lier." We stared into each others eyes for a long time, she soon pressed her lips against mine. As we kissed, we soon heard a loving sigh coming from the library, "Austin?... where are you?"

We stopped kissing after we heard the sigh, I began to look around the library. I soon looked down and saw Twilight holding and cuddling my right leg. It seemed that she never left the library, I felt my checks turn bright red as I faced Celestia. She was trying to keep herself from laughing, she stood up and said, "You can't do this all on your own my love, please let Luna and I help you."

I smiled, "Okay," I said, "you tow can help, I just wished that I could of handled this on my own."

She came close and kissed me on the forehead, and she soon exited the library. But just before she left she said, "Luna and I are going to go out for a few hours out of the day, you won't be too lonely with us gone will you?"

"I won't," I replied, "besides, Killjoy is coming over to visit in a few hours. I am going to give him a tour of the castle, you two go and enjoy yourselves." She smiled and exited the library. I took in a deep breath and let out a long tired sigh, I soon closed my eyes and laid my head back against the bookshelf, trying to get what sleep I lost. Ten minutes later of some what sleep I began to feel Twilight's face rubbing itself up against my leg. I opened my eyes again to see that Twilight was gently rubbing her cheek against my leg. I thought to myself, how was I suppose to wake her up? I started to gently shake her to wake her, "Twilight?... Twilight? It's time to wake up?" I whispered.

She slowly started to wake, her eyes fluttered open and a small yawn escaped her mouth, "Wha-?... what? Where am I?"

I soon replied softly, "You fell asleep in the Canterlot library, you where here all night last night."

She rubbed her eyes trying to get more wake then she already was, she soon realized that she had her hoofs tightly wrapped around my leg. Her face turned to shock then red with embarrassment, she unwrapped her hoofs and took a few steps back. She smiled weakly, "Sorry, I thought-"

"It's fine," I said interrupting her, "It's okay."

"Oh..," her face was still red but she quickly changed the topic, "what's wrong? and why were you hear sleeping in the library... and not with... you know." her face was still bright red as she said that.

"Nothings wrong... I just couldn't sleep, that's all."

She walked towards me and said, "Look! I know that I am speaking out of place but these dreams, these... nightmares or whatever you call it aren't helping you at all. And you not telling anypony, well except for me and the princesses... your wives!!, isn't helping you idther."

I sighed once more, "Your right Twilight."

"And I am not leaving until you... wait... really?!"

"Yes, your right, I should of told somepony, and I do need help. And I am sorry for not saying anything or asking anypony about it,... it's time for a change."

"Wow!" She said with a suprised look on her face. "I thought I had to go into an hour long lecture,... well anyway I am glad that you realize that we here for you and we want to help," she smiled but she quickly went back to work. "Now, we need to find something on... this science about different worlds that the book 'Elements of Harmony' talk about. We need to know something so we know the exact purpose the elements will be used for..." she paused.

"Well?... Did you find anything?" I asked.

She took a deep breath and then let out a long tiresome sigh, "No... somehow I am unable to find anything on it, I mean, there should be something here in this giant library. The fact that you came from your world to our world is proof that there is such thing and it exists. But why is there nothing on it!" She groaned loudly in frustration and went back to reading. She then used her magic to take books the self's that they rested on. I went back to the book that I laid beside me earlier, it was the 'Elements of Harmony' book, I thought that if I re-read it I would find something that I might have missed while reading it before. I then came to the last page of the book, it was the new last page from the pages that was just added. I saw that there was a tiny speck of ink at the end of the last word on the page, I took a closer look and found that it wasn't a speck of ink but a reference symbol. I scanned the bottom of the page and I found, in the most tiniest of writing, a sentence, it read: "Look in the book of Prophecies, under The Traveler."

I started to concentrate on finding the book using my magic. After a few minutes I found it and brought the book to where I was sitting at the time. I opened the book and went to the table of contents, I soon found and went to page 454. 'The Traveler' it read, 'is a being that was created to insure peace across many different worlds. The Traveler has the power to change its form; from a bunny to a dragon and all in-between. His origins are unknown. If you need to contact him, look in the scroll of 'Old and Forgotten Spells'.

I closed the book and with my magic I began to search for the scroll. After a few moments, with my magic, the scroll was brought to me, I unraveled it and began to read down that list of spells that were written. I soon found the spell near the bottom of the scroll, I read the spell over and over again, just to make sure that I was going to perform the spell correctly. I rolled the scroll back up and placed it besides me, I soon began to concentrate. I felt my horn begin to glow brighter than ever before. A source of energy started to build up inside, soon the energy burst through my horn, leaving me tired and weak. My head and body felt like they were holding the weight of the world, I looked weakly around the library, the walls started to close around me but expanded back to its orginal position. I put a weak hoof to my head, trying to make the library stop spinning. I saw a male brown earth pony, he carried a since of honor and pride with him, he looked around the room and noticed me, "Hello, I am Nathan, Nathan Traveler."

"I can't believe it Tia, his day is almost here!" she said as she was jumping around when we got to SugarCube corner.

"Calm down my sister, we are her now," I giggled. "We must look presentable."

She then stopped jumping, "Oh, sorry Tia." I smiled warmly to her and we walked in. Once we were inside, a pink mare with a crazy curly pink mane was standing behind the counter.

Her eyes lit up as we entered, "Ohmigosh!! Princess Celestia, Princess Luna your here, your here!!" she gasped. "Are you here to pick up your order, well are you!"

"Yeas Pinkie Pie, is it ready?" I asked calmly and with great ease.

"Oh boy, it sure is. It s the most delicious thing I baked today, wait right here," she said as she quickly dashed off into the kitchen. She quickly dashed right back to the counter carrying a medium size white box, "Here you go..." she suddenly gasped again, "are you going to throw a party for him? I should totally throw a party for him!"

"No!" Shouted my sister Luna. She paused and her face turned red and she smiled weakly, realizing her mistake, "I'm sorry Miss Pie but, we got something special planned already." She winked at me and I winked back, we did indeed have something special planned for our Prince's birthday.

"Oh,: she said with surprise. "Well,.. okay then! You're all set, hope you enjoy the cake," she said cheefuly. "Oh! I almost forgot, wait right here!" she said just before dashing up the stairs. She quickly came back but she was no alone, she had a stallion with her. He is a unicorn with a bright green and blue mane; his oat was a light sky blue, while his eyes are bright green; he is wearing a white vest with many pockets, grey and white cuffs and he was wearing black square glasses.

Pinkie quickly introduced us to her friend, "Princess Celestia, Princess Luna I would like you to meet my coltfriend Mad Mod, Mad Mod... meet the Princesses."

"Whoa! That's cool!" he said with surprise. He shakes his head and bows, "It is nice to meet you too."

"Likewise," I said casually. I soon picked up the cake using my magic. "I'm sorry that we cannot stay longer. We must get back to the castle, thank you for everything Pinkie Pie."

"No problem Princess, take care! And tell Prince Marvel to have a very happy birthday!"

"We will," I said as Luna and I headed out the door. As we stepped outside we heard voices from above.

"Come on Ditzy! We don't want to be late!" the voice said playfully.

Luna and I looked up, we saw Ditzy Doo flying with another pegasus. We saw Ditzy Doo do a loop just before bumping into the pegasus that was flying with her.

"Ditzy!" the pegasus said while laughing. "I love you. Now lets go! we don't want to be late!"

Soon, they both flew out of site, "Looks like Ditzy has found love."

"I am glad for her," Luna said. "But it's time to get back to ours."

"Agreed."

I then used my magic to transport Luna and I back to the Castle. We appeared in the grand hallway where I saw Alex, Ditzy, and the pegasus that was traveling with her. But there was another pony with them, he was a brown earth pony. But... I felt... pain in my... head and... horn...AAAAHHHH!!!!

I tired to stand but I felt like my hoofs would give way under my weight. I fell once and tried to stand again; Nathan, he called himself, ran towards me and supported me while I was trying to stand up.

"Are you okay?" Nathan asked.

"I... I'm fine... I just feel weak, that's all," I found myself breathing heavily. I tried to stand again with the help of Nathan but I fell again, my hoofs seem to buckle under me as I stood. Twilight ran over and tired to help.

"You need to rest. I saw the spell you preformed, that spell was too much for you, too advance. Please sit down my Prince," Twilight said in a cautious tone.

"Prince?!" I heard Nathan say.

I tired once more to stand up, I finally stood but I stumbled a bit before regaining my balance. I was still breathing quite heavily, I turned to Nathan, "My name is Prince Silver Marvel. I am honored to meet you Traveler." I bowed.

"I think I should be the one bowing, I am in the presents of royalty," he chuckled.

I stood up, trying to keep myself from falling again. I looked at him with better vision than before. He was a brown male earth pony with a dark drown main, he had deep brown eyes along with a beard, he wore a purple vest and cape with black glasses. Twilight was standing next to him, she seem to be trying to remember something. She jumped back in shock of remembering. She stared at Nathan with eyes wide with surprise.

"You brought the Traveler here!! How... how is that even possible?!"

"Yeah.." he said while stroking his beard. "I am curious about that too. How did you bring me hear?" They both looked at me, they wanted answers too fast from me and I was still recovering from the spell.

"As you said before Twilight, I used a spell to bring him here," they both looked at me, expecting more information that seemed wasn't coming out fast enough. "While re-reading the newly added pages in the book, I found something very interesting. On the last page at the end of the last word I found a small reference symbol which lead me to find, in very tiny writing, a sentence telling me to look in the 'Book of Prophecies'. And that lead me to a spell that was in an old scroll, and now here he is," I pointed to him.

"That's... that's really impossible! I am the only one that can travel to different worlds! And you say that a spell brought me here... it doesn't make any sense!" he started to look around the room. "Okay... lets back up a little bit here. What was the book that you said you re-read and had newly added pages to it?"

"It was the 'Elements of Harmony' book," Twilight said while using her magic to bring the book over to Nathan. "Here, read it for yourself."

He started to stroke his beard again, "So... the Elements of Harmony has gained another purpose in this world... binging peace to other worlds. I think I might want to stick around, and learn more." I was about to say something but I paused and watched as new events began to unfold. Time seemed to stop around me, the room became quiet and still. There was no sound, I looked out the window and saw a bird in the air stopped in mid-fight. It stayed in the air, unmoving and unaware of what was happening. But it was curious, time had stopped but why? I stopped looking outside when the sound of ruffling pages caught my attention. I looked at Nathan, he was still holding the book in his hoofs, the pages started to glow a bright golden color. The page Nathan was on flipped on its own, and another page somehow generated itself, words started to appear when the new page flipped over and another appeared. This process kept going until I counted 14 new pages, the pages flipped back to where Nathan left off. I felt a push against my whole entire being as time started back up in its usual forward motion.

Nathan paused for a moment and looked at me with great concern, "You felt that, didn't you?"

Twilight seemed left out of the conversation, "Felt what?... What are you two talking about?"

For some reason I started to act out of character and I ignore Twilight and her comment, "It was more like I was outside of it .. or in it."

Nathan put a hoof in his vest pocket and brought out a slim box that was thin as paper. It projected light and images, he was touching it like a touch screen and began to read something.

Twilight was very frustrated at this point, "Hello?! What is going on here?"

"A temporal disturbance," replied Nathan in a serious tone.

"Say what??" Twilight exclaimed.

"A temporal disturbance is what happened. I felt it and Silver... I mean Prince Marvel saw it take place," explained Nathan.

"And this 'disturbance' you call it is what again?"

"A temporal disturbance is when something... important is either taken from this world or added in," he turned to me. "Were you able to see anything that happen when time seem to stop?"

I nodded, "Look at the book you're holding."

Nathan quickly stared at the book and started to flip through the book, he found the 14 new pages that I saw appear before my eyes. Twilight walked over to Nathan , noticing a look of shock on his face.

"What is it?" she asked. "What did you find?"

He lifted his head and shut the book, he paused for a moment trying to regain his thoughts, "It's a 14 page instruction manual of how to use the Elements of Harmony to... to transport ponies and things to and form other worlds. And in the use of it,... somehow its suppose to bring peace to the world, we choose."

The library fell silent, none of us spoke for a long time. Nathan broke the silence, "This... this is one powerful usage of the Elements of Harmony. And for that we must-"

He was cut off by somepony shouting down the hall, "Alexander! Alexander we're here!"

The vice had belonged to Killjoy, I looked at the clock on the wall. It was time already, I walked out of the library to greet him.

"Wait! Where are you going?" Nathan called.

"I'm going to reunite myself with my brother, sorry but I must leave," I replied back to Nathan.

I turned the corner and found Killjoy and Ditzy waiting for me in the hallway. Killjoy soon noticed me and turned to Ditzy, "Ditzy, this is one of my younger brothers Al-"

He was cut off by Ditzy's startelement, "Prince Marvel!" She then bowed.

Killjoy lo0ked confused and looked at me, "Marvel? Really... I mean it fits your appearance and all , but Marvel?"

I chuckled, "So?... My full name is Silver Marvel, Killjoy. Anyway its good to see you again."

"I'm glad that I found you."

"I have some good news for you Killjoy, I found Jero," I said calmly.

"You did? How?" he asked.

"You would never believe how I found him..." I was about to explain how Fluttershy found him when Nathan ran into the room. He was about to say something, when I saw a flash from the reflection from a window. Celestia and Luna just got back, I turned around to see Celestia putting a hoof to her head and screamed out of utter agony. I felt my heart stop when I heard the scream, I ran over to her as fast as I could.

"What's wrong?!" I asked Luna.

She was in utter and complete shock, "I.. I don' know."

I saw Celestia's pupils shrunk, "GET OUT! GET OUT!"

She stopped dead in her tracks, "Celestia?" I asked with tears coming from my eyes. I saw a small tail of blood go down her face, and the blood came from... the base of her horn. She fell forward into me, I caught and nettled to the ground. Tears were streaming down my face. Luna sat besides me, tears stained her coat. Celestia's head started to move, I raised it and faced her. Her blood stained her beautiful mane and white coat.

She spoke in a low weak whisper, "I... I love...you."

I felt her body go limp as her head titled to the side, I nettled there utterly stunned at what had happened.

"No... no, nononono," I whispered. "Celestia... Celestia wake up please...Celestia... Celestia?"
