The story of Lightning Sonic...

For this chapter we will jump through time to see the relationship between luna and lightning sonic. Enjoy!

It's nighttime in canterlot. Before luna was banished, she and the now alicorn lightning sonic (explained later) were romantically involved. Celestia, unaware of the two alicorn's activities believed they were good friends. We find luna at the castle of the two sisters playing applejack with lighting (it's blackjack). "Hrm..... Do you have any threes?" Lightning said sarcastically. "I thought we were playing applejack?" Luna replied. "Can't you read minds since you can enter dreams?" Lightning said. "I prefer not to when I'm being casual." Luna stated. "I prefer to use my strong alicorn magic to my advantage." Lightning remarked."Such as traveling through time with discord and Tia." Luna then used her royal voice and stated "Why has thou been with my sister?" "She hasn't told you has she." Lightning then said. "Spoilers, but Tia and Discord have been hanging out for quite awhile now. You know I've been thinking, why don't we start hanging out more often Luna?" Luna then replied softly "that would be nice lightning." "Reason I haven't been so sure we could, well you know is because I can't age. The mare I loved died years ago of old age. And I just look taller and more prominent." Lightning sighed at remembering the fact that all of the people he knew were gone but luna, Tia and discord. "Lightning, I'm sorry cloudy died. But that is passed now. I knew you would be sad so I gave her asylum forever in the underworld." "Thank you luna." Lightning replied. "Cloudy mist will stay in her prime state forever. But alas, you may not visit her." "You gave her eternal memory of me and we may not see each other?!?!" "It's for the best lightning." "It's better for both of you to remember each other as you were." "I guess your right luna. She would be happy if you and I were together." For centuries luna and lightning were together but this would not last. On one fateful night, after years of jealousy toward Tia. Luna revolted. Lightning tried to help her with his strong magical abilities, but it did not help, luna was gone. That night lightning warned celestia that luna was taken over by nightmare forces. "The elements of harmony will not work without luna and I." Celestia said. "Tia, I must put all of my magic and life power into the Elements!" "No, luna would be devastated." "Tia! We have no bearers of each element to use! Only I can solve this!" "Your right lightning. This is the greater good." Tia brought out the raw elements. Lightning then focused all of his power then said "I'm sorry luna." All of his magic poured into the elements as they charged themselves to celestia. Lightning was gone...... Embedded in the elements of harmony forever. "Thank you old friend, your sacrifice will not be in vein." History played out normally.
