Pinkie crawled out of bed at 10:37:61 the next morning, which she found very odd. If Freedom didn't wake her up first, then her daughters would barrel into her room at teleportation speeds. That, and she had an internal clock set for 8:30. So why... "Ding ding ding ding!" "Hold on, I'm coming!" Yelled Pinkie down the stairs, as she combed her hair. It went from bed hair to straight hair in a few seconds, then Pinkie held her breath for a moment as it poofed back into place. "Pinkie! It's me, Twilight! I need two dozen muffins, stat!" Yelled the muffled voice from outside. "Why would you-" Pinkie started saying, but was interrupted by the door being held in eleven different magic auras and opened. Outside, Twilight, along with her daughters Nyx and Starsong, her husband Flash Sentry and eight other random ponies that all looked alike. "Pinkie! Two dozen cupcakes, stat!" all of them yelled. So Pinkie prepared two dozen fresh blueberry muffins in record time, and as she baked them, the bunch of ponies ate them. By the time she had baked her fifth dozen of cupcakes, Mrs. and Mr. Cake came downstairs. "Why hello Princess Twilight and family! What an honour to have you in our humble bakery!" Wait. Family?thought Pinkie. "Thanks Pinkie. I knew that we could rely on you for breakfast. Everyone, move out! Princess Celestia wants us at the Canterlot Royal Gardens at 11 'o'clock!" hollered Twilight. And with that, Twilight's mini army barrelled out the door. "Twilight! Don't~Oh well. Hi Pinkie, can you sign this as a witness? Rarity and I want to get divorced, and my dear AJ refuses to sign the papers." said Spike as he came in, with Applejack and a different looking Rainbow Dash in tow. "Yup. Y'all know how much this would mean ta me. Please, Pinkie! Ah'm begging y'all!" pleaded AJ. She then kissed Spike on the cheek and said, "RD, tell Pinkie how much this would mean to us all." "Aunt Pinkie, please?" said Dashie, but Pinkie smelled the truth behind the sugar coating of her words. We need to talk. "Sorry, I can't. I've got to bake, uh, five dozen cupcakes for Twilight and her folks!" lied Pinkie, putting on her best smile. "Oh well. Say, could y'all take care of our lil' RD today? She'll help y'all with the bakin'!" asked AJ, clearly not seeing through Pinkie's faux smile. "Why not? I could use a helper today!" replied Pinkie, smiling genuinely at Rainbow Dash. After Spike and Applejack left, Rainbow Dash turned to Pinkie, a look of panic on her face. "Alright, Pinkie. We need to talk." (3) Storm CenterStorm Center By The Isapie "Alright, Pinkie, here's all I've figured out so far. Apparently I'm a filly, and I'm Spike and Rares' daughter. They are about to break up, and Spike is now dating AJ. As well, Twilight and Flash Sentry now have ten kids, and Flutters is rejecting Discord. According to him, he's popped the question a total of 79 times. Last thing, which I am terribly sorry to tell you, Pinkie, many ponies saw Freedom and the triplets march out of town this morning." listed Rainbow Dash over cotton candy smoothie and chocolate chip cookies. "And the worst thing is, Soarin's dating Spitfire! My Soarin'! How dare Spitfire take him?!?!" she yelled, her fire rising. "MMPH!" Dash was then blocked by Pinkie, as she stuffed a random cupcake in her mouth "Dashie, I have an idea about what we should do. However, I think you'll need to go home and pack up a lot of stuff." Pinkie said as she ate another cookie, then rushed over to the oven. She pulled up a note that said, "Mr. and Mrs. Cake, I'll be out for a moment. Friends and I are going on an adventure." Strangely, the note had a string connected to it. Pinkie hooked it to a perfect little slot where there was also a button. She pressed it and as Dash watched, Pinkie's favourite oven rose on hydraulics, revealing the secret basement underneath. "Well, Dashie? What are you waiting for? Let's go!" In a matter of time, Pinkie and Dash had made their way to Pinkie's emergency "Let's go on an adventure" bunker, where she stored everything she needed for anything. "This is also where I get all my balloons," said Pinkie, gesturing to the pile of boxes, all labelled "Balloonies." Dash gasped as she saw one of the three Mare-do-Well costumes in a box. "Pinkie... What are these things?" "Dashie, clearly they're all my stuffishes, and you should know that. In the meantime, grab whatever you think we'll need. I have a feeling that that's gonna be a lotta stuff," said Pinkie innocently. Dash considered all that Pinkie could possibly mean by "a lotta stuff", and came up with a conclusion. "Pinkie... Are we going to go past the..." she asked. "Yes, Dashie. We are going to break the fourth wall. I have a feeling that I know what's going on, and why this is happening, but we can't be sure of it. Hey, bring that bag," she suddenly said. It surprised Rainbow Dash for a moment, but she passed the said bag to Pinkie. "What is this?" she thought, but before the words could leave her lips, Pinkie said, "It's a special, magic bag I had Twilight enchant for me. This is where I get all the random stuff from. I store it in here!" she ended, gushing. "Okay... Pinkie, does it weigh much, and do you have a spare I can use?" asked Dash. "No problemo, Dashie! And if you think Mr. and Mrs. Cake are going to be worried, I'll say to them and Spike and AJ that I'm taking you on a 2-week trip to Neighpon. I have some relatives there, and I arranged for them to have me over, although with this weird warp-ness I think the arrangements may have disappeared. Now come along, Dashie! For from today to next-next week, we will be known as Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash, saviours of Equestria!" (5) The Eye of the Storm, Part 1The Eye of the Storm, Part 1 By the Isapie FIZZ...FIZZ...GRQUKLE...SORRY, PINKIE PIE, BUT YOUR REQUEST TO BREAK THE FOURTH WALL CANNOT BE PROCESSED RIGHT NOW. PLEASE TRY AGAIN AT ANOTHER TIME, OR IN ANOTHER PLACE WHERE THERE IS A BETTER SIGNAL. THANK YOU AND HAVE A NICE DAY. "NO! THAT HAS NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE! STUPID CLOUD CPU FOURTH WALL SYSTEM!" screamed Pinkie as her attempt to break the fourth wall failed for the first time since she was just a filly, and the sun was going down. Dash watched as her always happy, never mad, maybe-sometimes-sad-because-her-friends-were-busy best friend bucked a patch of clouds in frustration, screaming bloody murder at the clouds. A little slip of falling paper caught her attention, though, and she yelled, "Dashie! Grab that paper!" Dash tore through the cloud, diving at the almost-sonic-rainboom speed and caught the piece of paper. When she brought the paper back up to the summit, Pinkie looked less tense, and handed Rainbow a mirror. "Dashie, you look a little less filly-like now. See for yourself!" Rainbow Dash looked herself over in the mirror, and sent a silent thanks to Celestia and Luna for fixing her appearance. In the meantime, Pinkie read aloud the letter: "My dearest Pinkie(I know for sure it's you. Who else would purposely come to the top of Mount Everfree and buck a cloud to pieces?), "I'm sorry that I left you alone like that, but you must understand. I woke up, and there was a dark energy force field around you. It only got stronger when the girls came in to wake you up. I touched it for a moment and now there is a red patch on my hood. The girls accidentally jumped right into it. I had to drag them to Zecora's place(at this time, Dash suddenly cried out, "Oh! So that's where we forgot to check!"). They're fine now. 'Cora gave them some potion-lotion stuff and they got rested up and came out of their shock. We concluded that the farther away we got from you, the less the force field would be there. I believe it is charged off our family love and I blame the cupcakes the girls found in the meadow yesterday. "Well, my dearest, I should say that we are headed for the secret hiding place we discussed. If you don't remember, here's a hint: Cheese Pickles. In any case, my dear, I trust that you will find a way to make things right. "Love, your loving husband, Freedom "Ps. I let the girls have the final word. "Dear Mama, once we get to the hiding place, we'll take turns waiting in the fourth wall. If you find a place with good signal, then just come in and don't hesitate. We will drag you out the other side, no matter how much it hurts. Good luck, Mama! "Love, Strawberry Pie, Pumpkin Pie and Lemon Pie" "Pinkie we have to go! Now! There's a large dark cloud headed our way!" "WHAT?!?!" (7) Storm Chaser PinkieStorm Chaser Pinkie By The Isapie Somewhere in Pinkie's head... Oh man. Dashie isn't gonna get through this adventure without breaking down completely. I feel that I could do something else, but what can I do? Sure, we've been friends since like forever, but still, I can't use my Pinkie Sense to make her feel better. Oh my goodness...I see something! Dashie! We have hope! I can see a light! It's on top of...Mount Celestia? Or Mount Luna, maybe. We'll have to climb up there, Dashie. That's where I see light. Don't worry, Dashie, we'll get to the mountains in time. You and Soarin' will be reunited. And maybe, just maybe, I will see Freedom and my girls again. "Pinkie?" Pinkie Pie had just fallen asleep trying to comfort Dash, right there, on the summit. "Pinkie...I see a beacon! It's really small, but I see a beacon of light! To the north! I think that's where we have to go!" cried Dash, her voice getting louder and louder. "Whoa, Dashie...We need to get to Mount Celestia, or Mount Luna. That's where I saw a beacon." smiled Pinkie. "Don't you understand, Pinkie? Those two mountains are in the north!" "Oh my gosh oh my gosh Dashie! Let's get going! There's no time to lose!" And so, the two mares picked up their bags and climbed, little by little, down the mountain, and made their way to Mount Celestia. Dont worry, Dashie. Well get there in no time. (8) Storm Chaser DashieStorm Chaser Dashie By The Isapie Oh, Soarin'. I will never forgive myself. Why did the force field bubble even form? I'm not gonna bother to even think about it. Oh well. Soarin'...Please be okay. Pinkie...Don't you dare let go of that rock ridge. I'm not gonna lose another person that I love. Well, technically speaking, I actually don't wanna lose another friend. About fifteen years ago... "Dashie! Wait up, Dashie!" "Catch me if you can, Surprise!" A younger Rainbow Dash and her best friend Surprise were flying around in Rainbow's cloud home. Surprise had brought her older sister, Echo, as well, who was technically filly-sitting for the tired parents. Echo was a bit tired from making the two fillies lunch, and was now resting on one of the clouches(cloud couches). "Echo! Watch this!" Rainbow Dash scooped up some cloud from the floor and tossed it at Echo, who caught it. Before Rainbow had even heard of Spitfire(who, back then, was not captain of the Wonderbolts) she'd always idolized Echo, who, despite being blind, was a Wonderbolt trainee. She had posters of Echo(that she'd drawn herself) all around her bedroom, and had a small, treasured picture frame with a picture of her and Echo in it. Echo had even mentioned Dash once or twice in interviews as "my sister's playmate and the inspiration in both our lives". In a sense, Rainbow Dash was friends more with Echo than her little sister. "Whoa, Dashie, give me some warning before you do that!" Smiled Echo. "Okay...Let's try this!" yelled Rainbow Dash as she scooped up two cloud balls and tossed them at both the Wonderbolt and her little sister. Echo did catch the cloud ball, but the other one knocked Surprise right into a hole in the cloud floor~the one that Dashie had just made when she made the first cloud ball. "ECHO! HELP ME!" Screamed the little filly as she desperately beat her wings, trying to fly. "SURPRISE! I'M COMING!" Screamed Echo as she scrambled out the hole. Dash flew right after her. "SURPRISE! WE'RE COMING!" Yelled Dash as she flew with all her might, down towards where Echo had caught Surprise, who had blacked out from exhaustion of beating her wings. "Oh my gosh we need to get her to the hospital STAT!" yelled Echo. The good thing was, Surprise survived. She was just like Pinkie before Dashie knocked her out of the cloud apartment. The bad news was that she was blinded from the wind, like her sister. After that incident, Surprise and Dashie never played together again. Echo stopped mentioning Dash in her interviews. Slowly, Rainbow Dash started to idolize Spitfire more than Echo. The treasured picture, though, she kept as a reminder to never be too harsh to anyone or anything. Back in Dashie's head... Surprise...I wonder where you went. Before it happened, we always played together. After you left, I was friend-less for a year. Then I met Fluttershy. Good thing I did. I wouldn't have survived school without her. Pinkie...You would have been just like her if I knew where she was. Surprise...I miss you. Echo...It was my fault. I can't blame you for not letting me be your inspiration anymore. Please. I'm sorry... "Dashie? Dashie! You're alright!" Rainbow Dash woke up at the north edge of the Everfree Forest. The Friendship Train station was only a bit ahead. "Pinkie...What happened?" "You kinda just fell and collapsed and~oh my gosh, is it your bag? Did Twilight's enchantment only apply to me? Is your bag too heavy?" Pinkie gasped, her hair sort of deflating. "I'm alright, Pinkie." responded Dash halfheartedly. But the truth was, she did not feel alright at all. (9)Meanwhile, beyond the fog...Meanwhile, beyond the fog... By The Isapie "Dashie! You're alright!" A young girl of about 12 or 13 peered through her mirror as she observed her ponies carefully. She was so much like Pinkie(both represented the Element of Laughter), yet quite unlike her in the fact that one was a human, and the other was a pony. They did share a common goal, though: to make as many people/ponies happy as possible. "Oh, no, girls, our egos have messed up their world! I need to break the remote control system!" Whispered the girl to herself as she saw Pinkie help Rainbow Dash up. "What have we done? Our Elements of Harmony are connected to yours, but because our Elements are combined, so are yours! I'm so sorry to have to put you through this, Pinkie, Dashie! It's all my fault. I could have foreseen it. I tried to stop it, but it didn't work! I only delayed the inevitable!" The girl collapsed on the floor and cried. Her friend, who represented the Element of Loyalty in their world, came over quietly, hobbling on the foot she had bruised. Only this one friend knew of her internal struggles and the mirror. The two monitored it constantly. "I dunno, Laughter. What are we gonna do?" "Loyalty, if I knew the answer, you'd be getting a spectrum of a response right now." "Nice one. Honestly, if Honesty and Generosity's guy hadn't gotten together, if Generosity and her guy hadn't broken up, if Kindness was still with Chaos, if Magic and her dude weren't as romantic around each other, if..." Loyalty's voice faltered. "...If my beloved could actually see me as someone in his life, then things might just be right." A single tear dripped down Loyalty's cheek. "Thanks, Loyalty. I really needed that." "No probo, Laughter. All we really need now is for Pinkie to get past the fourth wall. Then we will see if we can contact her. Let's just hope she actually stops at Mount Luna." (10) Storm Chasers, Part 2Storm Chasers, Part 2 By The Isapie "One...More...Step!" Rainbow Dash was trying to get to the buffet cart of the Friendship Express. She and Pinkie had boarded as soon as they had reached the station, but on the train, Rainbow Dash was very bored and flew around in circles and spirals and eventually went to join Pinkie in the buffet cart.(Pinkie had made it there while Dashie was recovering from a spiral of dizziness.) "Phew! Now, time to chow down!" Dashie finally made it into the dining cart and headed right for the soups. She never really understood why she liked soup so much, but Dashie assumed that it came from her youth, when her mother Firefly made soup constantly due to her full schedules. Eh, she hadn't seen her parents in a while. Firefly was a former Wonderbolt, who only performed once and then dropped out due to her pregnancy of RD. RD's dad, Rainbow Striker, was a former Cloudsdale flight army member. The two currently resided in Cloudsdale, in a cloud home Dash had purchased for them. Rainbow Dash looked at the soups they had that day. There was fancy cream-of-broccoli soup, smooth butternut squash soup, carrot noodle soup, and for some reason, a simple celery soup. Rainbow instantly grabbed the biggest bowl she could find and filled it with the celery soup. It really reminded her of the soup her mother made for her every time she had a full schedule, which was just about everyday. RD loved it. "If I...should stay...I would only be in, your way~ So I'll go...but I know... that I'll miss you every step, of the way~ And I~ Will always love you..." Dramatic music played in the dining cart as night set. By that time, Rainbow Dash had sipped up every drop of celery soup that the buffet cart had to offer, whereas Pinkie had consumed everything sweet, along with most of the fruit, and all the ice cream, plus every last Scottish mint. The two sat in the dining cart, full to the point of exploding, when Pinkie finally spoke up. "Dashie, remember that stallion that came to Ponyville and had that goof-off with me to hold your Birthaversary party? Cheese Sandwich?" "Why wouldn't I? Although, back then, I honestly thought you two would get together." "Well, that's a whole other story. But recently, he sent me a message that he was planning a special Birthaversary party for his special somepony, and he wanted tips on how to plan it. He also said that he wanted to make it special in the fact that he wanted to propose to her. I'm not sure how to respond to him. It wasn't me who proposed to Freedom, ya know!" "Well, Pinkie, just tell him to use his imagination. He's got plenty of that. Maybe not as much as you do, but still, he's got enough to plan his special somepony a Birthaversary party." "Alright, then, Dashie. If you say so." (11) Hurricane PinkieHurricane Pinkie By The Isapie Pinkie woke up the next morning on the train, utterly exhausted. She wasn't sure why she'd awoken until she heard two noises. One, Dashie's snoring in the upper bunk. And two, the train whistle. Dashie jumped right out of the bunk and managed to not hit the floor. That would be very bad for her foal or filly...whichever. Meanwhile, the conductor yelled, "Next stop, Mount Luna!" Pinkie automatically started to feel tension in her very bones. "Tightish bones...Flopping ear...Itchy nose...DASHIE! THIS IS OUR STOP!" She yelled, which effectively got Rainbow Dash our of bed. "Pinkie! I was dreaming of...stuff!" Yelled Dashie, but she did get off the bunk and start packing up. Within a few minutes, the duo were done washing up, eating breakfast (one of Pinkie's homemade biggie cookies) and packing, they hopped into the cart where the doors were. The train screeched to a stop. "Mount Luna, folks! Anyone who is stopping at Mount Luna, please exit!" Yelled a young unicorn colt. Pinkie and Dashie, along with the few other tourists who actually wanted to visit the not-as-grand-as-Mount-Celestia mountain stepped off the train. After a quick scan of their surroundings, Dashie confirmed something to Pinkie. "Pinkie, there is a gondola system, so we don't have to climb any more mountains. That's always nice. Now all we really need to do is get up there and find your hubby and the triplets." "Dashie, I didn't say they were up there. I only said we needed to go there." "Huh?" "When I woke up, I felt something trembling through the ground. I realized that it was somepony trying to send me a message through the fourth wall system." "Well, will you have enough connection to receive this message?" "If I can feel it, then I can receive it." Half an hour later, the duo had gondola-ed up the mountain. Pinkie found a small cave, and she set up her instant fourth wall message system("I call it my IFWMS!"). She plugged it into a crack in the cave, and a blue portal appeared. "Hop in Dashie!" For Rainbow Dash, the portal seemed very scary. For Loyalty, it was scarier. For one, Loyalty had a bruised foot (from a sports event). For another, she'd stayed up really long comforting Laughter and telling her it wasn't all her fault. Laughter wasn't all Laughter-y anymore. Loyalty now guided Laughter in the fourth wall. Suddenly, she saw a mass of pink and next to it, a rainbow striped topped blue mass. "Rainbow Dash! Pinkie Pie! We're here!" She yelled, hobbling towards the two ponies. Pinkie had travelled once by accident to the world of humans that Twilight had gone to. These humans looked nothing like the ones there. The taller one had a dark brown mane, with occasional streaks of golden brown. She had bronze skin and was very, very tall. She wore a light blue shirt with a curving rainbow designAlthough she was clearly very strong, she had a wrap around her foot. She must have bruised it or something, thought Pinkie. The shorter one was shorter by about five centimetres. She had a black mane, and had peachy, yellow-ish tanned skin. She was wearing a bright pink shirt, the same colour as Pinkie was all over. She was noticeably skinny, but she still had some strength, for otherwise, she wouldn't be holding the massive bag that was threatening to drop to the ground any second. Pinkie did note that this girl was crying into the other girl's shoulder, and the other girl was trying to comfort her. At this point, the girl in pink got up. "Pinkie, Dashie...We need to talk." (12) Hurricane DashieHurricane Dashie By The Isapie "Pinkie, I don't think you've noticed, but you and I represent the same thing. Laughter," said the girl, her voice trembling as she did. "Yes, but..." Pinkie's voice trailed off. "Ahem. My name is Rainbow Dash, and I'm Equestria's best flyer ever!" Cut in Rainbow Dash, trying to break the silence. The taller girl smirked. "Oh, is that so? I'm Skylar, and so far, at every track and field event, I've placed in the top three. In other words, I got to go to areas for everything," said Skylar, stroking her ankle as she did so. "Well, you seem to be a lot like me," said Dash proudly, happy to have found someone who she shared views with. "Well, what if I told you we both represent Loyalty?" Chuckled Skylar. Rainbow Dash just gasped. Meanwhile, Pinkie and the crying girl were having some sort of a conversation, but with glances and eyebrow movement. Eventually, Pinkie just came over and wrapped her hooves around the girl. 'Hey, Iris, it'll be alright, okay?" Said Pinkie, trying to put a smile on the girl-Iris?-'s face. And it actually worked. Iris gave Pinkie a weak smile and said, "Looks like Skylar, Heather and I aren't the only ones who can speak with their eyebrows." Pinkie giggled. "So, you went to areas for everything? Even with that?" Asked Dash. Skylar's face fell. "Sadly, no. Someone tripped me and our friend, Eveline, and the race officials wouldn't let me compete because they thought I'd hurt it even more." Her chest puffed up in pride. "When Heather, Iris and I were practising, though, I beat my last year's record by one and almost a half seconds. Then. in basketball, I tripped and I bruised it," she admitted, but with no shame. "Injuries are normal in our life. We don't have magic like you ponies do," concluded Skylar with a grin. "Well, then, let's get going. What the hay is going on?" Iris and Pinkie were actually setting up a mental connection, telepathically. "Okay, wiggle your eyebrows as much as possible. We have to make it seem like we're communicating through eyebrow language, although I do know eyebrow language," said Iris with her eyebrows. "I know eyebrow language too!" Replied Pinkie, her eyebrows jiggling around. "Excellent. Let's get this mental connection up, and I'll relay all the known facts to you," said Iris. A few moments later, Pinkie got a clear message from Iris, one that showed the story of how Iris knew what was going on. She saw a mirror, Iris showing Skylar it excitedly, and the duo stepping in. They'd entered the fourth wall, by accident. Then, a clip of them showing another friend the mirror. This must be the one they call Heather, though Pinkie. The trio were then placed in a scene, where a girl reading a book and a very short boy were standing. The boy looked at the girls and his eyes glazed over. Heather's eyes went starry and very, very pretty. The boy looks a bit like Spike, and Heather-oh gosh, that's got to be their Rarity! And the girl with the book is probably their Twilight! Realized Pinkie. Another strange scene. It was in a schoolroom, and the short boy and Heather were coming out. The boy asked her something, and she squealed. She hugged him very, very hard and squealed some more. Many of the other boys and girls came over, with big, cheesy grins plastered on their faces. Among those few girls who sincerely cheered were Iris and Skylar, who congratulated Heather. The midget boy must have asked her out or something. The next scene was sort of sad. The room they were in was huge, with multicoloured lights dancing everywhere. There was a DJ on the stage, and everyone was dancing. Iris and Skylar were dressed in beautiful outfits, with Iris wearing a floral dress and Skylar wearing a blouse and colourful pants. Heather was the most elegant of all, wearing a white dress with a blue ribbon. Yet the look on her face was very sad. She was looking at the midget boy, who was sitting in the corner, smiling at her. Gosh, he must have forgotten to dance with her! Despite all this, with Heather shooting pleading glances at the midget boy, he did not get up, and instead talked to a very tubby, tall boy, a skinny, lanky one, and a girl who looked a bit like Iris, but was more hardened. Next, Pinkie saw Iris's birthday party. There were eight people there in total, not including what must have been Iris's parents and a young girl who was probably her sister. One of those was their element of Magic. One was very tall and regal, with a sun pattern on her shirt. Another was the girl who talked to the midget boy at the dance. She was eating an apple slice. There was also a shy girl with a butterfly shirt on. Here's assuming the sun pattern one is their Celestia, the apple eating one is their Honesty, and the shy one is their Kindness. Of course, the midget boy and the original trio were there too. The entire body of people moved out the door, to what seemed to be a park. They played a quick game, then the boy and the Honesty girl went off talking, while the rest of them sat around the swing and talked. As they talked, Heather moved onto the swing. Eventually, her tears started pouring out as she spoke. She must have been talking about her relationship with the boy. The last scene: the boy and Heather were arguing about something. Then, the memory split-screened. One side was the boy, trying not to talk to anyone, also trying to conceal the tears running down his cheek, and the other was Heather, sobbing into Magic's shoulder. As Pinkie watched, she realized that the Kindness girl, the Honesty girl and Iris were sitting there with him, trying to console him. Then, the memory shut itself off. The entire exchange had only lasted less than a minute. Iris wiggled her eyebrows, saying, "Pretend to console me." Pinkie did so, saying "Hey, Iris, it'll be alright, okay?" Iris nodded. "Looks like Skylar, Heather and I aren't the only ones who can speak with their eyebrows." Pinkie giggled. "Well then, let's get going. What the hay is going on?" "Dashie, I'll tell you that later. What we need to do right now is cut off the connection between our worlds." (13)Clear SkiesClear Skies By The Isapie "To make a long story short, Dashie, we have to break off the connection between our two worlds." That one statement scared the living daylights out of Dash. "Seriously? What about our communication?" "We have the powers of the fourth wall, Dashie. We need to destroy the connection before it destroys Equestria!" "So what do you mean by breaking off the connection?" "The weird events in our world were caused by events in their world. They're happy as is, but we aren't. Therefore, we must break the connection and we'll live normally again. They'll live happy lives in their own, sorta weird, way." "Alright." Dash took a deep breathe. "Tell me what to do." After countless hours of heaving and hauling, the quartet of ponies and people pushed most of the dark matter away from the fourth wall dashboard. "Here we go!" Exclaimed Dash as she air-bucked the last bit to the side. Pinkie and Iris pulled out little boxes of tools in unison. They were identical in shape, colour, texture and size, but the actual tools were different, more suited towards Pinkie's hooves or Iris's hands. Together, the pony and the girl unscrewed and wrenched, they hammered and drilled, they even managed to pull identical jigsaws out of their tiny toolboxes. Pinkie nonsense? Coincidence? I think not. Finally, Pinkie's jigsaw ran out of power. "Shoot. I knew I should have powered it with a raspberry cupcake," she muttered, looking in her bag for some fuel. Eventually, she got her's up and running again-just when Iris's died. She went to find batteries while Pinkie sawed. Iris came back in a moment, plugging a charger into the fourth wall matter and the other end into her saw. It started whirring like crazy again. The two worked like they'd been work partners since they were born. An hour or so later, they'd chopped right through the lid. "Good work. Now, let's get the cables!" Panted Iris. Pinkie sat on the ground with a plop, wiping the beads of sweat off her face. "Never mind. Skylar, Dash, this is a job for you. Go do it!" Ordered Iris. She the collapsed on the ground and fished out a cookie to eat. "Well, Miss Hotshot, we got stuffz to do!" Grinned Skylar menacingly. "And in case you're wondering, yes, we need to pick out the right cable. Deal with it!" Dash sifted through the hooful of cables she was holding. There was one labelled "Generosity Connection," one as "Laughter Connection," even a "Loyalty Connection" cable. Dash noticed that they all led to another cable, which she could not untangle. Skylar seemed to notice the same thing. They tugged on the bunch of cords together until a massive, one-foot-wide-in-diameter cable surfaced. "Um, Pinkie, Iris? We found the offending cable." (1)Before the StormBefore the Storm By The Isapie "Mama! Mama! Mama! OMG, take a look at what we found!" yelled Pinkie's triplet daughters in unison as they charged into Sugarcube Corner. They were adorable little things, with the same adorable mane shape as their mother. "Girls, don't be so silly. What have you got for me?" she giggled. "We found a box of cupcakes in the grass!" piped Strawberry Pie, Pinkie's mini lookalike. "They're not from Sugarcube Corner!" gasped Pumpkin Pie, the pastry-coloured one. "Oh, and we each ate one because we found them!"added the last one, Lemon Pie, who sported pastel yellow everything. "Hmm... Let me see this box of cupcakes," said Pinkie playfully, while placing a moustache on her upper lip. "Hmm...It says something on here... Eat...Me...Luck...Happy again? Huzzah girls! We just found the way to everlasting good luck!" Yelled Pinkie, her moustache flying off. "YAY!" her daughters screamed in unison, pulling out three party cannons and blasting them. Upstairs, Pinkie's husband, Free Wishes, heard all the commotion and paused to think about his beloved wide and daughters. They were the most beautiful things in the world, though they were a bit loud at times. Freedom, as he was known around Ponyville, stood up for pony rights, and needed his peace and quiet at times. However, he did enjoy having fun with the rest of his family when he actually had time for it. He loved them with all his heart, but he was writing a letter to Princess Luna to help the homeless and depressed ponies, since she was, for some time, depressed and homeless. Freedom heard a great shout of "YAY!" again and sighed. He smiled as he walked down the stairs to welcome his girls home. Later that night, after Pinkie and Freedom had gotten the girls to sleep, they sat in their bedroom read books. They both found that this helped with their crazy schedules. "Oh, honey, wait, I forgot to get you one of the cupcakes that the girls found in the fields." said Pinkie, getting herself off the bed. She came back a moment later with two heart-shaped cupcakes for them to eat. They clinked their cupcakes together as if they were toasting to their health, and both swallowed their cupcakes whole, just like their daughters had done about six hours ago. "G'night, Pinkie, m'dear." "G'night, Freedom." (4)Storm Chasers, Part 1Storm Chasers By The Isapie "Alright, Dashie. I asked Lyra Heartstrings from down the road and she said she saw my triplets and Freedom walking towards Sweet Apple Acres~I think that maybe they went to see Fluttershy or AJ." said Pinkie after she asked said pony. "Alright, let's head for Sweet Apple Acres, then." finalized Dash. "OH! What if...Oh no...My poor triplets... My beloved Free Wishes...The Everfree Forest, Rainbow! What if they got caught by a Timberwolf or a cockatrice? I can't Stare like Fluttershy, nor do I have any aiming skills like AJ or Spike!" Pinkie sobbed hopelessly, her mane flattening in an instant. "Oh, Pinkie." "Pinkie, can I tell you something I haven't told anypony before? Can you keep a secret?" asked Rainbow softly. "Mhm," replied Pinkie, doing her Pinkie Promise actions at the same time. "Well... When Soarin' went to serve in the army a while back... Do you remember how for a while I didn't even come out of my house?" "Mhm," replied Pinkie. "Well... That's because I was so sure that Soarin' was going to die fighting, so I basically spent all my time trying to communicate with him. The reason he came home early was because the sargents kept having to tell him to patrol, but he had to respond to every single thing I sent him, so they told him that there was someone else who needed him more than the troops did. That, and he can't shoot very well." admitted Dash. "So what I'm trying to say here is.. Pinkie, he will survive, if only to see you again. He has faith that you will find him again someday." ended Rainbow, whose efforts paid off when Pinkie's mane poofed up a bit again. "Y-you really think he'd do that for me?" she sniffed. "Yep. And the triplets too. No biggie, Pinkie. They'll be back for you." "Climb, Pinkie, climb! It's not much further! We've got about 10 metres left to go!" Dash and Pinkie had almost made it to the summit of Mount Everfree, which was on the other side of the Everfree Forest. They had taken about an hour to scour the entire forest, and even then their efforts brought no reward forth. Pinkie struggled to place her right hoof onto the rocky ledge, but then the edge crumbled to pieces, leaving Pinkie hanging by one hoof. And, of course, the rope tied around her waist, which lead to Dashie's waist, on the summit of the mountain. "Here, Pinkie." Rainbow Dash flew up into the air and pulled a screaming Pinkie up to the summit. Mount Everfree was not the highest mountain in Equestria. It was only a quarter of the height of Mount Celestia, and about a third of the height of Mount Luna, up north. Yet Pinkie's bouncing technique did not work on the very narrow ledges, and very soon, she was forced to climb up hoof by hoof. Indeed, climbing the 100-metre mountain took her just as long as it took her to scour the Everfree Forest. "Omygod... Dash, how much longer? 'Till we get to the peak?" "Pinkie...We're here!" "Oh...OK!" Pinkie's sweat-drenched hair suddenly went back to normal. Her scratches and bruises faded a bit. Even that worried expression she had worn since she'd had her sudden mind spark that her husband and children may be dead dissipated a bit, but it still stayed ever-so annoyingly. "Let's get going!" She yelled like a mad scientist, thrusting her hoof into the clouds. (6) It's Rainin' Cats 'n' DogsIt's Rainin' Cats 'n' Dogs By The Isapie "WHAT?!?!" Pinkie's scream rang out into the distance as she turned to see a somewhat normal looking Dash and, indeed, a dark cloud. "PARASPRITES!" She yelled at the top of her lungs, carrying the message to all of Equestria. "Woah. That's a lot of...Parasprites?" "No, Dashie, those don't look like parasprites at all." responded Pinkie. "That's Soarin'! And the rest of the Wonderbolts!" "I'm so sorry, Dashie! I never meant to leave! Spitfire made me!" yelled Soarin' once he was in range for the two mares to hear. "Soarin'... I missed you!" Cried Dashie as she flew at top speed towards her beloved. BOING! "Soarin'! SOARIN'!" screamed Dash as her fiance crashed suddenly into a red-tinged dark magic bubble that formed around Dash and shuddered from the impact. He then fell, from a hundred metres off the ground, desperately beating his wings as he did so. The Wonderbolts rushed to catch him before he hit the ground. Only Spitfire remained to talk to her former teammate. "Dash, what just happened?" asked Spitfire. "The force field...It just had to hit Soarin'!" Dash grumbled. "Take him to Zecora's place. He knows the way. It's at the edge of the Everfree, on that side." Dash pointed to the place where Zecora's hut stood. "She's got a remedy. Wait. I need to talk...to Soarin'." Dashie ended, clearly holding back a sob as she did so. "Soarin'...don't come looking for me. I don't want you to get hurt. Besides, once we make Equestria normal...I want my filly to be able to see her daddy." "Oh, Dashie, you could have told me!" Pinkie whispered a little off to the side. "Soarin'...I'll be alright." Rainbow finally said, this time letting the tears flow freely. Pinkie felt herself tear up as well, and managed to pull out a small hankie for herself. After blowing her nose, she let it loose into the wind, where it washed itself, dried itself, and folded itself(this is the power of the great Pinkie!). She then handed the handkerchief to Dash, who sobbed hopelessly into it. And as Pinkie watched the Wonderbolts fly away with the unconsious Soarin', while holding her best friend in a tight embrace, she pondered to herself, "Will we ever make Equestria better? Will Rares and Spike continue together? Will AJ and Caramel finally get together? Will Dashie and Soarin' be able to have their filly? Will Twilight and Flash ever live a less hectic life? Will Flutters and Discord get back together and will their daughter Screwball still exist? "And most importantly, will my family and I ever reunite?"
(2)TornadoTornado By The Isapie "What...It's so late..." Pinkie crawled out of bed at 10:37:61 the next morning, which she found very odd. We need to talk."
(3) Storm CenterStorm Center By The Isapie "Alright, Pinkie, here's all I've figured out so far. For from today to next-next week, we will be known as Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash, saviours of Equestria!"
(5) The Eye of the Storm, Part 1The Eye of the Storm, Part 1 By the Isapie FIZZ...FIZZ...GRQUKLE...SORRY, PINKIE PIE, BUT YOUR REQUEST TO BREAK THE FOURTH WALL CANNOT BE PROCESSED RIGHT NOW. Now! There's a large dark cloud headed our way!" "WHAT?!?!"
(7) Storm Chaser PinkieStorm Chaser Pinkie By The Isapie Somewhere in Pinkie's head...
Let's just hope she actually stops at Mount Luna."
(10) Storm Chasers, Part 2Storm Chasers, Part 2 By The Isapie "One...More...Step!" Rainbow Dash was trying to get to the buffet cart of the Friendship Express. If you say so."
(11) Hurricane PinkieHurricane Pinkie By The Isapie Pinkie woke up the next morning on the train, utterly exhausted. "Pinkie, Dashie...We need to talk."
(12) Hurricane DashieHurricane Dashie By The Isapie "Pinkie, I don't think you've noticed, but you and I represent the same thing. What we need to do right now is cut off the connection between our worlds."
(13)Clear SkiesClear Skies By The Isapie "To make a long story short, Dashie, we have to break off the connection between our two worlds." That one statement scared the living daylights out of Dash. We found the offending cable."
(1)Before the StormBefore the Storm By The Isapie "Mama! Mama! "G'night, Pinkie, m'dear." "G'night, Freedom."
(4)Storm Chasers, Part 1Storm Chasers By The Isapie "Alright, Dashie.
