Gamers In Equestria! The Dark King

Town Square 45 minutes after arrival

      I awoke again.....with another headache, and again my cyborg heart shortly fixed whatever was wrong with me in around thirty seconds.

     IT’S A NEW ACADEMY RECORD!

     Back on topic: I groaned in annoyance over the fact that I awoke....on the exact same floor I was lying on before but, this time, I wasn't alone. On my right was a kid, roughly my age, he was rather lanky and had on a pair of glasses. An Escape Plan sat to his right and, even though his head was slumped, over his soldier helmet stayed on firm. I knew this was Kyle.

      To my left was a kid sized Master Chief, I would've had no idea who he was unless my pip-boy hadn't pointed it out as Nathan. To Nathan's left was a rather large kid in a set of chain mail armor with a large halberd at his side, this was Jacob. I groaned a bit as I arose from the ground only to be stopped by a purple chain....thingie? Well, it's not the weirdest thing I've ever seen so I just rolled with it.

      "Hey, who ever put these chains here, could you put them away? Please?" I shouted at no one in particular, but instead of being greeted with some guy in cool armor it was.....TWILIGHT SPARKLE! "Oh....mah.......GAWD ITS A PONY!" I shouted my pip-boy making the squee sound as if on cue.

      "Yes I am a pony. Sorry about the frying pan by the way...you just caught me off guard. As for the chains, just a safety precaution." said Twilight "I will lift them if you can prove you’re not dangerous to the citizens."

     "Seems legit." I responded "So how can we prove we’re protagonists?"

     I was prepared to do anything, for theses chains were really freaking uncomfortable.

       "First off tell, me your names and why you’re here." said Twilight Sparkle levitating a notebook in front of her.

     I cleared my throat.

      "My name is...." I didn't want to give my real name so I improvised "Courier six as for why I'm here....I have no fu**ing clue." I crossed my arms, and leaned up against the little porch thing in front of the town hall. It was as far as I could go being chained down and all.

      "So you’re a courier?"

      I nodded

     "What about your friends?"

     "Lemme see...." I decided to start with Nathan "That one in the suit of space armor is Master Chief he is a spartan marine in the UNSC."

     If he blows his cover I'm gonna flip!

"So he's a soldier? Is he, like, a sort of captain?" asked the mare scribbling in her notebook.

      "Well yeah, sort of." I answered causing her to squee.

      "He's just like my brother! Now how about your friend in the chainmail." she flipped to a new page in her note book, and dipped her quill in her ink well.

      "He's one of the undead...the chosen undead to be correct." I answered "He doesn't have a name, but I call him Jacob." I looked at my pip-boy out of boredom "The last one is Soldier.....that's his name by the way."

      She mumbled something before asking us to introduce ourselves.

      "I can tell you all of our stories, but that would take weeks so I'll tell you mine." I told her shifting the magic chains a bit trying to get more comfortable then I told her my character’s story. When I finished she just sat there mouth wide open as her eyes in surprise.

      "So you just, kill things! Just like that, without a second thought?"

      "Yep you gotta to survive in the Mojave Wastelands." I said keeping up my facade of being a courier.

      She just shook her head a bit obviously not comprehending what I just said

      "Relax I only kill something if it attacks me first." I warned/told the alicorn.

      "Noted" she said putting away her notebook, "Now it's not my choice at this point to set you free.....it's Princess Celestias." I face palmed.

      "Seriously? I've done nothing wrong, and I'm being treated like a fu**ing Leigonare!" I shouted in outrage causing her to flinch.

      That was odd I was usually not that quick to anger....I don't even have the hot blooded perk! I was absolutely angry I wanted to blow up this entire town! But I didn't.

      "Why don't you just turn off the magic chains, let me and my buds just leave? It's not like we'd be much danger." that was...a fu**ing lie, but I wanted to be free.

      Twilight looked a bit conflicted obviously agreeing that it was unfair to treat me as a criminal when I'd done no wrong, but also wanted to follow her teacher’s rules. Luckily I found my own way out, a Pulse grenade. I managed to find one in my Pip-boy while she was jotting down shiz in her book so I just pulled the pin and rolled it over to a stake made of magic were all the chains met. It went off releasing a wave of energy that almost completely blocked her magic flow thus killing the spell, freeing me and my friends, who were woken up by the grenade.

        "KIIIILLLLL!" yelled Kyle grabbing his Escape Plan, and jumping to his feet only to see Twilight unconscious and me equipping a Hunting Rifle.

      "Good, you’re awake. Get the others, we’re heading out!" I decreed, and not even twenty minutes later we made it to the Everfree forest "Welcome to the one most dangerous place in Equestria!" I announced before trudging in.
