Today was not Twilight Sparkle's day. She had gotten up on the side, of the wrong side of the bed. Her reason for being so grouchy was because she woke with a bad case of acne. She was way past puberty and she still got pimples. The blemishes were spread all over her forehead and on the back of her neck. They were small, but still noticeable. She usually looked her best most of the time, how could she have let this happen?
"Oh, how could I have let this happen?!" Twilight was hysterically pacing her room floor back and forth. "I hate getting these things! They're so hard to get rid of!" She took her brush and tried to brush her hair over her forehead to hide her marks for the umpteenth time, but it just wouldn't stay put and oddly shot back up. "Ugh!!" The door swung open and Spike jumped through holding a soup ladle in his claws.
"Twilight!? What's wrong are you oka-? Woah, what's up with your face?" Spike pointed at Twilight's forehead with a finger.
"Get out of here, Spike!" Twilight grabbed a pillow in her magical grip and threw it at Spike's head, which made him tumble out the door. She slammed the door and locked it shut, so he wouldn't come back in. "Grr, I get the worst case of acne, nopony else can say they have pimples worse than mine." Twilight sat on her bed and sighed. I bet I look like hormonal teenager now. Why can't I just live a perfect life, filled with only the most beautiful things? Is that too much to ask? She threw herself on her bed sprawled out.
