Trixie Xtreme

"The Great And Powerful Trixie is suffering from great and powerful insomnia. She needs another playthrough of Megaman Xtreme in order to get to sleep."  She then held a Game Boy Advance SP in her hooves with a copy of Megaman Xtreme loaded into it, pressing the buttons with her magic. After X would fire charged shots, dash, and climb up walls, Trixie found herself periodically pausing the game and doing the exact same things in an attempt to use up her bodily energy. Eventually she got tired and closed her eyes. Finally she was able to get some sleep.

Then some dialogue flashed in her head.

"While trying to find a fossil record, Dr. Cain, a human scientist, has uncovered a capsule with a robot from the past: Mega Man X. The capsule contained a warning message from Dr. Light, his creator:

WARNING:

'X' IS THE FIRST OF A NEW GENERATION OF ROBOTS WHICH CONTAIN AN INNOVATIVE NEW FEATURE - THE ABILITY TO THINK, FEEL AND MAKE THEIR OWN DECISIONS. HOWEVER THIS ABILITY COULD BE VERY DANGEROUS. IF 'X' WERE TO BREAK THE FIRST RULE OF ROBOTICS, 'A ROBOT MUST NEVER HARM A HUMAN BEING', THE RESULTS WOULD BE DISASTROUS AND I FEAR THAT NO FORCE ON EARTH COULD STOP HIM.

APPROXIMATELY 30 YEARS WILL BE REQUIRED BEFORE WE CAN SAFELY CONFIRM HIS RELIABILITY. UNFORTUNATELY I WILL NOT LIVE TO SEE THAT DAY, NOR DO I HAVE ANYONE TO CARRY ON MY WORK. THEREFORE, I HAVE DECIDED TO SEAL HIM IN THIS CAPSULE, WHICH WILL TEST HIS INTERNAL SYSTEMS UNTIL HIS RELIABILITY HAS BEEN CONFIRMED. PLEASE DO NOT DISTURB THE CAPSULE UNTIL THAT TIME.

'X' POSSESSES GREAT RISKS AS WELL AS GREAT POSSIBILITIES. I CAN ONLY HOPE FOR THE BEST.

SEPTEMBER 18, 20XX

X's design interested Cain, and he analyzed Dr. Light's notes. Months later, Cain was able to create robots similar to X, called Reploids, and they began to be mass-produced around the world. For unknown reasons, some Reploids began to act strange and attacked humans, being labeled Mavericks. To counter any possible threat, the Maverick Hunters were formed. Sigma, an advanced Reploid, was assigned to be their leader. X also became a member of the Maverick Hunters. Time passes and the Maverick Hunters are able to keep peace, but one day Sigma himself became a Maverick, being joined by other Maverick Hunters to start a war against humanity. Although X was by nature a pacifist, he had to do something, so he set out to stop the ambitions of Sigma and the Mavericks. You're basically X now that you're inside his first Gameboy Color game. Do you want to be great and powerful? Then I'll get you started on another adventure."

Ten hours later, she was able to open her eyes again, but she found herself in Megaman X's Central Highway stage rather than in her bed. "Where...am...I? How did I...get here? Is Trixie dreaming?" She raised her foreleg and poked herself with her horn. "OW!" This wasn't a dream. She got up and started walking along the highway, jumping to dodge a spiked tire that came at her. "The Great And Powerful Trixie doesn't trust wheels. Especially not spiked ones." After walking some more, she came across a tall brain-shaped robot that shot sparks at her. She dodged them and tried to jump over him too, but as he was too tall, she got hurt and fell back. "You dare attack The Great And Powerful Trixie?!? FLIPENDO!" After she shot the robot ten times with bolts from her horn, it exploded. She then fired a charged shot to blow up some more spiked tires coming at her before jumping over gaps in the road. "What did Trixie just say about wheels?" As she shot down some walking balls, she then saw what was spawning them: A helicopter bug. Then she shot down the balls and bug. Before the bug exploded, it fell and broke the bridge, leaving Trixie in a deep ditch.

"The Great And Powerful Trixie better be able to climb walls. This is when the player learns X has this ability!" She jumped on one of the walls, pressed all her legs onto it, and jumped to scale it multiple times before climbing back out of the ditch. She then dashed and jumped over multiple holes in the road, and when she saw they were being made by flyers with wrecking balls, she blasted those as well.

Finally she went under an airplane. Out of the airplane jumped the purple Boba Fett clone, Vile, riding in his invincible ride armor. She told him, "The Great And Powerful Trixie isn't from around here. Now where am I?"

Vile yelled, "DIE X! Prepare to be terminated! My armored carrier is more than a match for your ancient weapons.

Trixie told him, "I'm not X! And screw your armored carrier, I'm The Great And Powerful Trixie!"

Vile replied, "You must die anyways. I am Sigma's right-hand man, and he has ordered me to destroy you."

At this point, Trixie proceeded to fight Vile. She jumped to avoid the electric sparks shot out of his shoulder cannon, then teleported to dodge his charging punch. Then she started shooting at Vile himself rather than his ride armor. As he walked up to her and tried to punch her, she jumped, took her purple cape off, and swung it at Vile's face before kicking his ride armor backwards. He charged again, and she teleported behind him, yelled "EXPELLIARMUS", and blew off his ride armor's arm with a large white bolt. She then tried to hit him again with the same spell, but he jumped back into the plane and fled.

Trixie thought to herself, "In stories where the protagonist gets zapped into a video game, he usually has to beat the game from within in order to get out. That means I have to fight against the eight Mavericks, get their weapons, and destroy Sigma, the recurring final boss."
