She needs another playthrough of Megaman Xtreme in order to get to sleep."  She then held a Game Boy Advance SP in her hooves with a copy of Megaman Xtreme loaded into it, pressing the buttons with her magic. After X would fire charged shots, dash, and climb up walls, Trixie found herself periodically pausing the game and doing the exact same things in an attempt to use up her bodily energy. Eventually she got tired and closed her eyes. Finally she was able to get some sleep. Then some dialogue flashed in her head. "While trying to find a fossil record, Dr. Cain, a human scientist, has uncovered a capsule with a robot from the past: Mega Man X. The capsule contained a warning message from Dr. Light, his creator: WARNING: 'X' IS THE FIRST OF A NEW GENERATION OF ROBOTS WHICH CONTAIN AN INNOVATIVE NEW FEATURE - THE ABILITY TO THINK, FEEL AND MAKE THEIR OWN DECISIONS. HOWEVER THIS ABILITY COULD BE VERY DANGEROUS. IF 'X' WERE TO BREAK THE FIRST RULE OF ROBOTICS, 'A ROBOT MUST NEVER HARM A HUMAN BEING', THE RESULTS WOULD BE DISASTROUS AND I FEAR THAT NO FORCE ON EARTH COULD STOP HIM. APPROXIMATELY 30 YEARS WILL BE REQUIRED BEFORE WE CAN SAFELY CONFIRM HIS RELIABILITY. UNFORTUNATELY I WILL NOT LIVE TO SEE THAT DAY, NOR DO I HAVE ANYONE TO CARRY ON MY WORK. THEREFORE, I HAVE DECIDED TO SEAL HIM IN THIS CAPSULE, WHICH WILL TEST HIS INTERNAL SYSTEMS UNTIL HIS RELIABILITY HAS BEEN CONFIRMED. PLEASE DO NOT DISTURB THE CAPSULE UNTIL THAT TIME. 'X' POSSESSES GREAT RISKS AS WELL AS GREAT POSSIBILITIES. I CAN ONLY HOPE FOR THE BEST. SEPTEMBER 18, 20XX T.LIGHT X's design interested Cain, and he analyzed Dr. Light's notes. Months later, Cain was able to create robots similar to X, called Reploids, and they began to be mass-produced around the world. For unknown reasons, some Reploids began to act strange and attacked humans, being labeled Mavericks. To counter any possible threat, the Maverick Hunters were formed. Sigma, an advanced Reploid, was assigned to be their leader. X also became a member of the Maverick Hunters. Time passes and the Maverick Hunters are able to keep peace, but one day Sigma himself became a Maverick, being joined by other Maverick Hunters to start a war against humanity. Although X was by nature a pacifist, he had to do something, so he set out to stop the ambitions of Sigma and the Mavericks. You're basically X now that you're inside his first Gameboy Color game. Do you want to be great and powerful? Then I'll get you started on another adventure." Ten hours later, she was able to open her eyes again, but she found herself in Megaman X's Central Highway stage rather than in her bed. "Where...am...I? How did I...get here? Is Trixie dreaming?" She raised her foreleg and poked herself with her horn. "OW!" This wasn't a dream. She got up and started walking along the highway, jumping to dodge a spiked tire that came at her. "The Great And Powerful Trixie doesn't trust wheels. Especially not spiked ones." After walking some more, she came across a tall brain-shaped robot that shot sparks at her. She dodged them and tried to jump over him too, but as he was too tall, she got hurt and fell back. "You dare attack The Great And Powerful Trixie?!? FLIPENDO!" After she shot the robot ten times with bolts from her horn, it exploded. She then fired a charged shot to blow up some more spiked tires coming at her before jumping over gaps in the road. "What did Trixie just say about wheels?" As she shot down some walking balls, she then saw what was spawning them: A helicopter bug. Then she shot down the balls and bug. Before the bug exploded, it fell and broke the bridge, leaving Trixie in a deep ditch. "The Great And Powerful Trixie better be able to climb walls. This is when the player learns X has this ability!" She jumped on one of the walls, pressed all her legs onto it, and jumped to scale it multiple times before climbing back out of the ditch. She then dashed and jumped over multiple holes in the road, and when she saw they were being made by flyers with wrecking balls, she blasted those as well. Finally she went under an airplane. Out of the airplane jumped the purple Boba Fett clone, Vile, riding in his invincible ride armor. She told him, "The Great And Powerful Trixie isn't from around here. Now where am I?" Vile yelled, "DIE X! Prepare to be terminated! My armored carrier is more than a match for your ancient weapons. Trixie told him, "I'm not X! And screw your armored carrier, I'm The Great And Powerful Trixie!" Vile replied, "You must die anyways. I am Sigma's right-hand man, and he has ordered me to destroy you." At this point, Trixie proceeded to fight Vile. She jumped to avoid the electric sparks shot out of his shoulder cannon, then teleported to dodge his charging punch. Then she started shooting at Vile himself rather than his ride armor. As he walked up to her and tried to punch her, she jumped, took her purple cape off, and swung it at Vile's face before kicking his ride armor backwards. He charged again, and she teleported behind him, yelled "EXPELLIARMUS", and blew off his ride armor's arm with a large white bolt. She then tried to hit him again with the same spell, but he jumped back into the plane and fled. Trixie thought to herself, "In stories where the protagonist gets zapped into a video game, he usually has to beat the game from within in order to get out. That means I have to fight against the eight Mavericks, get their weapons, and destroy Sigma, the recurring final boss." //-------------------------------------------------------// 2 - Flame Stag //-------------------------------------------------------// 2 - Flame Stag Trixie was then standing in front of Megaman Xtreme's stage select screen. It had the portraits of Flame Stag, Chill Penguin, Spark Mandrill, and Storm Eagle. She then said out loud, "The Great And Powerful Trixie always went after Flame Stag first." After she focused her magic on his portrait, it began to glow red, followed by the world around her zooming back and forth while flashing white. When the flashing and zooming stopped, she arrived at Flame Stag's volcano. "Now I'm The Great And Hot Trixie. This is a volcano!" As she climbed up a wall, she dodged a flying rhinoceros beetle. It hit the wall, exploded, and left a big hole behind which Trixie jumped into. Some purple robots on the walls shot lasers at her, but she destroyed them with her own blasts. Then as lava rose, she climbed walls to outclimb it, destroyed a gate enemy, picked up a Heart Tank to increase her health, and hopped out of the volcano right before it erupted. Then she leaped over lava, jumped across some sinking platforms, and dodged another beetle before grabbing health refills from the hole its tackle attack left behind. After one more wall climb, she came across the first Dr. Light capsule. The hologram in the capsule said, "Enter this capsule X." Trixie told him, "X? I'm Trixie Lulamoon. The Great and...Hot Trixie! I'm in a volcano right now. Get it?" The hologram continued, "This body upgrade will decrease the damage you take." before fading. Trixie stepped into the capsule, was bathed in a soothing light, and her cape shone before she stepped out. Then in the next room, she met a golden knight miniboss, Zain. Zain said, "You must be X...My name is Zain. You have no chance of beating me!" Trixie replied, "Can't anypony get my name right? It's Trixie! The Great And Powerful Trixie!" Zain then pulled out his large scimitar, filled up his life bar, and leaped towards Trixie. Trixie dashed under him and literally kicked his flank as he landed behind her. He hit her back, but the body upgrade made her take less damage than other ponies would. Then when he jumped again, she teleported backwards and Flipendo'd him. He then blocked another shot from her and span around, deflecting her other shots. But she dodged the spin attack by climbing the wall. She repeated this process, eventually yelling "EXPELLIARMUS" and knocking his sword out of his hand. She then cut him with her cape. Right before literally exploding, Zain said, "I can't believe this." Right before reaching Flame Stag's room, she climbed up walls line with air geysers. Some miniature dragons lit the geysers on fire, and one burned Trixie's cape. "I'm on fire!" After she stopped, dropped, and rolled to put out the flames, she shot down the dragons while avoiding the flaming geysers on her way up the walls. Finally she entered a boss door to meet Flame Stag himself. As he entered, he jumped down a wall and performed an uppercut, . He then jumped up the walls again. Trixie was envious. "Hey, that's what Trixie had to do upon being zapped into this game!" Flame Stag came back down and told her, "I was just about to trigger another volcanic eruption to block out the sun, causing another ice age! Prepare to die!" He filled up his life bar and threw fireballs at Trixie, but she dodged them easily and shot him back. Her cape caught fire again in the process and she threw it at him, and it healed him before falling to the ground. Then he charged at her only to be kicked backwards. Before putting her cape back on, Trixie yelled "AQUA ERUCTO" and a jet of water flew from her horn to un-burn her cape. She dashed under Flame Stag to avoid his next wall jump, then started fanning his flames with her cape. His weakness in Megaman Xtreme is Storm Tornado, so he fell back and threw more fireballs. She dodged them, hit him with wind, and repeated five more times. Then she wall jumped to dodge his flame dash before shooting him during his wall jump, casting Aqua Eructo on him, and then exploding him with a charged-up shot. After the victory music (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rFWTFrx3Mmk) played, she raised her head and her horn shone. "This is the part where The Great And Powerful Trixie gets a new weapon, right?!?" Then she heard a voice in her head. "You got Speed Burner. You can burn stuff with it or charge while on fire." Trixie shot a flame forward that burned both the ground and a training dummy. Then she did her dash, was on fire, and burned the dummy as she knocked it over. "Chill Penguin is next. Obviously, this weapon needs to be used on an Ice Maverick." Then she teleported over to Chill Penguin's stage. //-------------------------------------------------------// 3 - Chill Penguin //-------------------------------------------------------// 3 - Chill Penguin There was deep, soft snow where Trixie had landed. "Now it's cold. Good thing I wear a hat and cape. Everypony who played Megaman X1 on the SNES a million times almost always went after Chill Penguin first - and for good reason. He's easy and his stage contains the very important dash upgrade.." She then walked through the snow. The first enemy she came across was a rabbit that shot a laser at her with its ears. After she got hurt, she kicked snow at it to explode it. Then she walked to meet a lumberjack robot that threw stumps at her. She kicked one back at him and exploded him. She climbed a wall and shot down another lumberjack before entering a cave full of bats. One uncharged shot was all it took to eliminate each, then she picked up the health refills they dropped. As three spiked wheels came at her, she exploded one with her cape and shot the two others before jumping off the wall onto a higher platform. She climbed up another wall to reach another Light capsule. A hologram of Dr. Light appeared within the capsule to speak to Trixie. "Enter this capsule, X...err, Trixie. This Leg upgrade will increase your mobility when climbing walls and allow you to crush certain blocks. Your field of activities have now been expanded. Go destroy the evil, Trixie!" Then as the hologram faded, Trixie was glad somepony in this game got her name right. She was being called X due to being blue and temporarily becoming the game's protagonist. She then stepped into the capsule to be bathed in another soothing light, followed by her hooves glowing. After she stepped out and climbed another wall, she noticed she could do it faster now. On her way out of her cave, she easily destroyed some small helicopter robots, jumped over a bottomless pit, and trashed ostriches that threw gears at her while also destroying the thrown gears. As soon as she left the cave, she found a ride armor like the one Vile used earlier, hopped into it, and started magically controlling it. Only this one had drill fists and could hover. She smashed an igloo to pick up another health refill before hovering over two pits and punching out two enemies piloting ride armors. But she didn't get to keep hers because it was too big to fit in the hole in another wall. She jumped out, climbed it, went through the hole, climbed up, and came across two more igloos. These igloos deflected her magic shots and cape slashes, and she hurt herself upon kicking one. Then when she used Speed Burner, the igloos exploded and one dropped another Heart Tank which extended her life bar. The last enemies she encountered before reaching Chill Penguin were snowball throwers. After kicking one of their larger snowballs away, she levitated her own snowballs and threw them to take out the enemies, then reached Chill Penguin's boss door to meet him. Trixie asked him, "The Great And Powerful Trixie needs to defeat Sigma's eight bosses, including you, to escape this game. Why are you working for him?!?" Chill Penguin told her, "Sigma has paid for the use of my power. Working for him is a million times better than piddling around on the South Pole with nothing to do." Trixie told him, "Then don't just piddle around. Watch Trixie's real magic!" The penguin's life bar filled up before he started spitting ice balls at Trixie. She shot back, but the balls deflected her shots. So she jumped over them before setting him on fire with Speed Burner. Then she jumped over him when he slid at her. Next, he froze her with his icy breath while also creating two sculptures. Trixie broke free as soon as the penguin jumped on the ceiling, grabbed a hook, and sent the two sculptures sliding. She just kicked them aside before hitting him with her cape. While avoiding the rest of his attacks, she shot at him more with her magic until he exploded from being set on fire again. Trixie told him, "Chill out." Then she heard a voice in her head. "You got the Shotgun Ice. It splits in five upon hitting an object. Charge it to create an ice wagon." Afterwards, Trixie gave both the uncharged and charged variants of Shotgun Ice a try. "Cool weapon." Then she went off to Storm Eagle's airport. //-------------------------------------------------------// 4 - Storm Eagle //-------------------------------------------------------// 4 - Storm Eagle "The Great And Powerful Trixie has a plane to catch. Storm Eagle is waiting for her there! He's popular and patrolling the skies for Sigma." Trixie shot a flying enemy robot before jumping across moving platforms. When she got to the highest one, she leaped far to grab a Sub Tank before hearing a voice in her head: "This is a Sub Tank. If your life bar is full, health refills will go to the Sub Tank, which lets you use them later." Her cape let her float, preventing her from landing harmfully. Then she saw some barrels with a fire symbol and the word "Danger" printed on them. "Don't leave these things exposed." She shot the barrels, causing them to explode and drop health refills, which filled up her Sub Tank. Afterwards, she got hit by a flying robot, destroyed it with a kick, and healed herself with the Sub Tank. As a knight holding a shield threw a mace ball at her, she dodged it before shooting him down. Next up were some flying platforms with flamethrowers on them. Trixie kept her distance to avoid getting her cape burned again. "Don't use a flamethrower unless the enemy can only engage using melee attacks." She easily shot off the flamethrowers before jumping across the platforms and extending her life bar with another Heart Tank. After climbing two more walls and blowing up the second, she came across a third Dr. Light capsule. The hologram told her, "Enter this capsule, Trixie. This Head upgrade will let you crush certain blocks with your head. Don't hold back! Crush them all!" After it faded, she stepped inside and got bathed in another bright light. As her hat glowed afterwards, she demonstrated the upgrade by jumping into blocks above her like Mario, breaking them. Then she met some Metools. She learned the hard way that their helmets were impregnable, so she had to attack when they emerged to shoot at her. After they were taken care of, she jumped onto the same plane Vile came from earlier. After she destroyed the rotating cannons on it, she finally met Storm Eagle. Trixie told him, "Are you one of Sigma's men?!?" This purple eagle replied, "Yes. I tried to stop Sigma, but was unable to scratch, let alone defeat him. He forced me to bow to his immense power." Trixie replied, "The Great And Powerful Trixie will destroy both you and Sigma!" Storm Eagle replied, "Then the least I can do is fight with all my strength. Let's go!" He extended his arm sideways and filled up his life bar. By pushing air with both his wings and arm cannon, he tried to throw Trixie off the plane, but she dashed repeatedly and jumped over his shot of compressed air while shooting him with magic bolts from her horn. As her hat got blown off, she caught it, pointed it at him like a cannon, and hit him with a small cannonball before putting it back on. Unlike the other Mavericks, he didn't flinch from her attacks, but she still reduced his life bar. He then flew upwards and tried to tackle her, but she dodged the tackles easily by jumping. In the process, she hit him with her cape. Then he spat an egg at her that released four birds that tried to peck her, but were easily brushed aside. She gave him a few more shots before kicking him off the plane and zapping him again. He blew up upon falling onto a parked car. "DAM! He ain't gonna be in Rush Hour 3." Then Trixie got another voice in her head. "You got Storm Tornado. This weapon does more damage the longer it stays in an enemy's hitbox. " She gave it a try and hit a training dummy with a tornado before teleporting over to Spark Mandrill's place.
