Shortly after being transformed to look like the pony he replaced, Gavin tried to fit in but alas he just couldn’t. He was without his friends he’s known since he came into the states, and It seemed as though he’s pissed off the only creatures to call friends, now they won’t be his friends. Little did he know he had made two friends.

Endlessly wandering the streets he started kicking some rocks until the two fillies caught up with him. He hung his head down as they followed him.

“What’sa matter?” Apple Bloom asked.

“I miss my friends.” Gavin said.

“Well they did replace some important ponies.” Sweetie Belle said.

“If ya’d like ya could hangout with us.” Apple Bloom offered.

“I can?” Gavin asked.

“Sure, ya were there when we were wandering the Everfree and outta all of your friends yer the only one we can sorta relate to.” Apple Bloom said.

“How do I relate to you?” Gavin asked.

“Well…uh…” Apple Bloom said.

“Well you replaced a filly and we’re fillies.” Sweetie Belle said.

“Oh an’ y’all don’t have a cutie mark.” Apple Bloom said.

“A cutie mark?” Gavin asked.

“Well it is somethin’ ya git when ya find that one thing that makes ya special.” Apple Bloom explained.

“I’m an expert when it comes to doing slo-motion effects in movies and stuff like that.” Gavin said.

“What would that cutie mark look like?” Apple Bloom asked Sweetie Belle.

“I dunno but Gavin, the pony others see is just blank flank Scootaloo.” Sweetie Belle said. She looked at Gavin and he looked around.

“A blank flank?” Gavin asked.

“Ugh, you don’t have a cutie mark, ‘cause yer our friend an’ she ain’t got a cutie mark. Therefore ya ain’t got a cutie mark.” Apple Bloom sighed.

“So I don’t have a talent?” Gavin asked.

“In this world you don’t have a talent.” Sweetie Belle said.

“Aw…” Gavin said. He hung his head in shame.

“It’s ‘kay, ya could hang out with us.” Apple Bloom said.

“Yeah, and you can help us find our special talents.” Sweetie Belle said.

“Oh an’ we could have fun.” Apple Bloom said. Gavin then looked at Apple Bloom then knelt down and hugged her. Then grabbed Apple Bloom as he stood up then raised one arm and pointed to the sky.

“Okay so let’s go get our whatever mark things.” Gavin said. Apple Bloom looked down at Sweetie Belle.

“Why are all the humans drawn to you?” Sweetie Belle asked.

“Ah dunno but Ah don’t like it.” Apple Bloom said. Gavin set Apple Bloom down then he started running off. “We better go af’er him bef’re he hurts himself.” The two fillies ran after Gavin who kept running off somewhere.

“I don’t think we’re going to catch up with him.” Sweetie Belle said.

“Ah think it is best ta let him come to us.” Apple Bloom suggested.

“So you want to go have some cupcakes at Sugar Cube Corner?” Sweetie Belle asked.

“Why not, it’s not like he’s not going to notice we’re not following him.” Apple Bloom said. The two fillies stopped chasing after Gavin who was too oblivious to notice his new friends have stopped following him.

Gavin kept running until he was along on a stretch of road leading away from Ponyville. He looked around wondering where those cute fillies went when suddenly a poof of smoke appeared before him. Falling on his ass he looked up at Ryan.

“Ryan?” Gavin asked.

“Yes, Gavin, it is I. I’m the one who’s going to be the king of all of this land.” Ryan said.

“No, Ryan…I will stop you.” Gavin said.

“What are you going to do?” Ryan asked.

“I’ll get Geoff or Michael to defeat you.” Gavin said.

“They’re nowhere around.” Ryan said.

“Well then I’ll get Jack to banish you.” Gavin said. He got up and dusted himself off. Ryan just smirked at Gavin.

“Hmm…How about this Gavin, let’s play a little game.” Ryan said. Gavin was a little creeped out by the smile Ryan had.

“Um what kind of game?” Gavin asked.

“It’s your favorite, it’s the what if game.” Ryan said.

“Okay.” Gavin unsteadily said.

“Good, I’ll start. What if you were a pony?” Ryan asked.

“Then I would live in this place…Ponytown or whatever it’s called.” Gavin said.

“My turn now?” Gavin asked.

“You catch on fast now don’t you.” Ryan said.

“What if birds couldn’t fly?” Gavin asked.

“Then they would be extinct like dodos.” Ryan said.

“Your turn.” Gavin said.

“What if ponies could see what you were?” Ryan asked.

“Then they would be both frightened and intrigued, just like they were when we first came here.” Gavin answered. With the snap of Ryan’s fingers they were in the middle of town and then temporarily Gavin was seen as himself. “What is this?”

“Your answer.” Ryan said. The ponies looked at the two in amazement then mass chaos took over. Ryan snapped his fingers again and they were back to where they started off and he placed Luna’s spell back on him.

“What if I was with my new friends?” Gavin asked.

“You would be having cupcakes.” Ryan answered. He sighed then snapped his fingers. They were teleported to Sugar Cube Corner, where the two fillies were enjoying their cupcakes. Both fillies looked at Gavin who was cowering then when he realized they were there he ran behind them.

“Help.” Gavin said.

“What did you do?” Sweetie Belle asked.

“Who is that?” Apple Bloom asked.

“Well as I was running I noticed you two weren’t with me so I looked around and that’s when Ryan found me.” Gavin explained.

“Yes, and we were in the middle of a game.” Ryan said.

“A game?” Apple Bloom asked.

“Yes a game of What if?” Ryan said.

“Can we play?” Sweetie Belle asked.

“No.” Gavin said.

“Well you already involved them so now they have to play.” Ryan said.

“Bollocks.” Gavin said.

“So I guess it would be the earth pony’s turn.” Ryan said.

“Okay, What if we got free cupcakes?” Apple Bloom said.

“Then you shall be happy fillies.” Ryan answered. With a snap of his fingers it started raining cupcakes. The fillies and Gavin ran outside then Ryan joined them.

“This is fun.” Sweetie Belle said.

“What if we were on the moon?” Ryan asked.

“Huh?” The fillies and Gavin said. Then with the snap of his fingers, Ryan teleported all of them to the moon, Gavin started freaking out as he took in all that has happened. Finally he composed himself enough to answer the question.

“It would mean that we are a long way from home.” Gavin said.

“An’ it would mean our families would worry ‘bout us…an’ Rainbow Dash would worry about Gavin ‘cause secretly she cares for him.” Apple Bloom said.

“Correct, as a prize you get to live on the moon.” Ryan said.

“What?” The two fillies cried out.

“You’re supposed to teleport us back to their families and me back to Rainbow Dash.” Gavin protested.

“Now how fun would that be?” Ryan asked.

“By the way how are we surviving up here without any gear?” Gavin asked.

“Don’t you ever notice your surroundings?” Ryan asked.

“We’re in a magical place?” Gavin asked.

“Indeed we are.” Ryan said. He snapped his fingers and a chest appeared. “I’m not a monster, the fillies need to eat and drink stuff…and I guess you do too. Don’t use it all too soon.” Then he teleported himself off of the moon and the three huddled together.

“Looks like we’re stuck here.” Sweetie Belle said.

“Yeah…Ah hope mah sister an’ the others can figure out how to git us home.” Apple Bloom said.

“This place makes no sense.” Gavin said.

“Ah wonder what Princess Luna did when she was banished here.” Apple Bloom asked.

“You want to explore?” Sweetie Belle asked.

“We ain’t got anythin’ better to do.” Apple Bloom said. They looked to Gavin for reassurance on their plans.

“Sure.” Gavin said. He walked over to the chest and inside were a bunch of golden apples, a bunch of bottles of water, and an Enderchest. Now that he looked at the chest a little closer, it looked like an Enderchest. “We’ll be just fine.” Somehow he managed to carry all of the stuff and they started off on their journey on the moon.

"I wonder what we could find up here." Sweetie Belle said.

"Probably somethin' interestin'." Apple Bloom said. They headed in a direction and kept walking. So starts their adventures on the moon.
