The Blue Reploid: There Will Be Peace
Darkness…there was nothing but darkness around me, where was I? My memories are almost all gone but I remember the important ones. My name was Megaman X; my creator was Dr. Tomas Light, I had a friend by the name of Zero and my sole purpose was to bring peace to the world, to put it blankly. I also remember Sigma, the Sigma wars, Axl and what my systems were capable of but other than that there was nothing else that I can remember but I had one memory that stood out the most…I had endless potential.
I've been walking through this abyss for who knows how long…months, years, maybe even decades...I didn't really know anymore. While I walked through the darkened abyss I suddenly felt the warmth of light against my back, turning around to find that there was a bright light in the shape of a door about a kilometre from my position, my hope rising as I thought that I had finally found a way out of this place. Without another second to waste I began to sprint towards the light. As I reached the light I felt absorbed by its warmth as I closed my eyes, the brightness engulfing me.
I felt something hard pecking at my hand…wait…I felt something pecking against my hand! I quickly snapped my eyes open to the world around me, instantly getting onto my feet as I examined my vicinity as i didn't know what the creature was until i saw it. The creature that was pecking my hand was a small raven; said raven however flew away due to my movement in waking up. Looking around I found that I was in a cave that seemed to have lots of small crystals, looking behind I saw what appeared to be on all the crystals, a large dragon…how was that possible?!
Of course my data banks had data on dragons, mythological creature in a time called ‘The Middle Ages’ and from the size of it, I did not want to get into a fight with it. Slowly backing away from the dragon, not wanting to wake it up –otherwise I would be crushed by him- I found what appeared to be the exit to the cave, keeping quiet as I slowly walked over to the entrance of the cave as to not wake it up. As soon as I got out of the cave I breathed in the fresh air –that was surprisingly the freshest air I had ever breathed in-, knowing that I was safe as I looked at the view that was a sight to behold. The landscape was so large that it spread out as far as I could see, a forest that neighboured a large stone castle about the size of the Maverick Hunter HQ that was to the west of my vicinity to the west and to the east was a small pathway leading to a small town that didn't seem ordinary as there were floating houses and boulders surrounding the town as well as the unnatural aura that surrounded it as well, it seemed...chaotic.
Instantly I knew that this wasn't Earth anymore, the dragon and the forest proved that as there were hardly any actual organic life back on Earth as most of the nature there was gone, replaced by the technology we had created to construct mechaniloids and reploids alike. Going off topic I decided to make my way down the mountain, keeping a tight grip on the side as I slowly descended until I reached the bottom. After I descended down the mountain I decided that is was best to follow the path that led away from the town and the castle, not wanting to be found by anyone yet due to how low their technology levels seemed to be.
Walking down the path I checked my systems to see if there was anything out of the ordinary as well as do a clean-up of them as well, detecting for any bugs or viruses but there were none to be detected . I also noticed that there was an option named CyberElf that I could use. Activating it, I found myself absorbed in a white light that slowly dimmed down until it was gone completely. Looking over myself I noticed that I was in my cyber elf form, due to my transparent body and that I was floating above the ground. I gave a slight smile at this due to the fact that I could change in between Elf form and my normal form. While I mused to myself, the world around me seemed to darken significantly as I looked up at the sun which began to slowly set behind the mountains as dark clouds began to appear, looking for someplace to shelter for the night I spotted a small cave on the hillside to the east as I slowly made my way towards it.
By the time I had reached the cave, the moon had already gone up as I changed back to my original form just as the rain began to pour down but my scanners detected a hint of calcium in the rain…so it’s raining milk? I pushed away my thoughts as I noticed that the atmosphere outside had changed; everything had a hostile feeling to it. It was oppressive, unlike the more neutral feeling which I had been previously been feeling when the sun was up. I then knew that this was a planet that wasn’t safe during the night, perhaps due to there being organic predators that hunt during the night. So in shorter words, the sudden change of atmosphere was unnerving to say the least. Since reploids like myself didn’t need to sleep unless they needed to charge up their energy and if I was attacked by one of the predators while I was sleeping well…they wouldn’t stand much of a chance against me since my scanners would be on alert for any physical movement, I decided to close my eyes and let sleep take me as my energy levels were below 20%.
Unbeknownst to X a small purple cloud of stars began to surround him from the crystals in the cave, that is until he heard the sound of a voice.
“Help…me…,” I snapped my eyes open as I heard the sound of a woman’s voice, getting up I noticed that there was no one in the cave but there was a weird cloud of stars circling around me. Said cloud stopped circling and began to just float in front of me as I felt the strong need to save the mysterious being.
“Pleese…,” I instantly new that this was the voice that I had heard but what exactly was it and why did the voice sound so broken? Guilt suddenly started to grow inside of me, starting to find a way to help the poor thing. I snapped myself out of thought as I noticed that the cloud was slowly disappearing with a soft whimper reaching my ears, my face paling as an image came into my mind of different humans, looking at me with sadness and horror that looked as if they were going to die...they will die.
‘NO!’
“I won’t let you die!” I yelled as I ran straight into the cloud, hugging it while drawing my power into it. “Cyber Merge!” A bright light filled the cave as I felt my power slowly going into the cloud, closing my eyes as I waited for it to be over. When I opened them I was met with a stunning sight, the being that I was hugging seemed to look like a horse but at the same time it didn't it was different…more sapient if you could call it. Her hair seemed to blow in a non-existent breeze that looked like the night sky, her fur was solid black and she had wings and a horn as well covered by some pieces of armour. She gave me a tired smile from what I could see from my point of view –since I was hugging her-.
“Thank…you…,” I instantly felt her put her weight on me, signalling that she was too exhausted to do anything and collapsed however I was there to catch her, my mind flowing with different thoughts however one thought managed to come out through my lips.
"Where am I...?" I heard her grunt a little at the question.
"E-Equestria...Name...N-Nightmare Moon...," she closed her eyes, falling into a deep slumber as I pondered over her name.
After gaining the knowledge of her name and the name of this land -possibly planet- I began to lay her into a good position to sleep, I looked at her smiling face as it showed innocence, happiness and comfort. It made me feel weird inside, then I knew what it was...it was the desire to protect her. I looked back at her sleeping form, she looked so peaceful so…
“Beautiful,” I quietly said, not to wake her up as I slowly went back into slumber as I felt my temperature rise slightly but why? And what was this other feeling that I had in my chest other than the desire to protect her? It made me feel safe, comforted…happy. I shot out a fire blast from my X-Buster, creating a small fire to keep her warm as I closed my eyes and began to fall asleep, lying next to her with a smile printed on my face.
‘Equestria...Perhaps being in this world won’t be so bad after all.’

This is my prequel to the Red Reploid story that will be happening before Luna turns into Nightmare Moon so it's set one thousand years before the show or as I like to call it the 'Harmony Saga'. I am also sorry that this chapter is so short but it felt like the most appropriate time to end the chapter there.
