The Demon Within
Sobbing, Rarity looks at the four headstones of her friends as well as her fiance's. Twilight came up behind Rarity, wrapping one of her legs around Rarity's neck to console her. "Oh Twilight! This is all my fault!" Rarity choked out. "Hey now,"Twilight said trying to console her grieving friend, "it's not your fault. You didn't know this would happen." Rarity couldn't respond due to her uncontrollable sobbing.
Three years earlier
It was a warm summer's afternoon in Ponyville. The birds were chirping while ponies went about their business or just loafed about, enjoying the the beautiful weather. Rarity was trotting along down the road delivering finished garments to their new owners. A handsome stallion was coming towards her, seemingly oblivious to the world around him. As soon as he ran into Rarity, that all changed. "Oh! I'm so sorry!" the stallion apologized. When this stallion bumped into her, Rarity accidentally dropped everything that she had been holding. They both bent down to collect the fallen articles. As they simultaneously rose their heads up, their skulls made contact. As they rubbed their temples to make the pain subside, their eyes locked.
As soon as this happened, Rarity knew that this stallion would be her's, no matter what. "Well hello there." the stallion said in a charming tone of voice. "Hello yourself. I'm Rarity." Rarity introduced herself. "It's a pleasure to meet you Rarity. I'm Bright. Bright Dawn." Bright introduced himself. "You know, of all the ponies I've run into, you're the most beautiful." "Why thank you." Rarity gushed.
