Frozen

It was winter. A couple of ice miners were away in the snow, collecting ice. One small unicorn filly has there too, with his pet reindeer. The ice miners were singing one small song:

Born of cold and winter air

And mountain rain combining...

This icy force both foul and fair

Has a frozen heart worth mining

So cut through the heart, cold and clear

Strike for love and strike for fear

See the beauty, sharp and sheer

Split the ice apart!

And break the frozen heart

The unicorn filly watched. "Come on Sven!" Soon, he and the reindeer ran into the ice miners.

"Hyup! Ho! Watch your step! Let it go!"

The filly put his small tool into the ice, and with a lot of hard work pulled it up to the surface. Then he went to pull out his tool form the ice, making it fall back into the water. He sighed, then got what looked like a giant gardening tool to pick it back up.

"Hyup! Ho! Watch your step! Let it go!"

"What is this...?" The filly, Kristoff, asked.

"Beautiful!

Powerful!

Dangerous!

Cold!"

"Oh."

Ice has a magic, can't be controlled.

Stronger than one! Stronger than ten!

Stronger than a hundred men!

"Hyup!"

Kristoff was having trouble getting his ice back out the water. He picked it up, and it slipped from his grasp, making it fall back into the water. Whenever that happened Sven would lick his face.

Finally Kristoff picked up the ice and put it on the ground. He started to push it towards his sled.

Cut through the heart, cold and clear!

Strike for love and strike for fear!

There's beauty and there's danger here

Split the ice apart!

Beware the frozen heart...

Kristoff had the ice on his sled and had Sven tied up to it. The ice miners were leaving just as Kristoff finally set off.
