The Mysterious New Colt

Hearing the soft knock on the door, Angel Bunny hopped to the door and opened it. On there were Pinkie Pie, Twilight and Rainbow Dash waiting on the other side of the door. Earlier this morning they had received the notice that Fluttershy has some big news and they must meet her at her cottage at noon.

Rarity couldn’t make it because she said she was very busy with an order, neither could Applejack because work piled up on them quick, but Fluttershy was okay with that.

“Hello Angel, Fluttershy said that we meet here. Is she here?” Twilight asked the little bunny which in response nodded and hopped back inside.

“I hope this is worth waking me up from my nap.” Dash said grumpily as she and the others followed Angel inside.

“Rainbow, you nap like 90% of the time.”

“Yeah, I have to be very well rested, being awesome all the times takes a lot out of you.”

“Tell me about it!” Pinkie popped in front of Rainbow which causes her to jump back “Flying around everywhere is really cool and tiring when you’re flying everywhere clearing the skies.” She started to imitate sound effects while zipping around. Twilight rolled her eyes and chuckled as they made it to the living room.

On the couch was a young colt wrapped in a blanket and Fluttershy was feeding him soup. The colt’s coat was dark blue, he had a unicorn horn, his eyes were orange colored and he appeared to have an expression as blank as his flank. His mane was long enough to reach his neck and it almost seem to cover one side of his face, his tail was like Pinkie’s when it was flat, but his was more shorter.

Twilight and Rainbow Dash remained silent while Pinkie smiled at how cute this moment was, that is until that smile faded and saw the bloody bandage on his head. Immediately they hurried up to him, neither of them noticing they are there.

“Thanks Fluttershy, that’s enough.” The colt told her as he gently pushed away the bowl of soup.

“Alright, it’s good to see you’re doing better.” She took the bowl and turned around to meet her friends “Oh, hey girls.”

“Fluttershy,” Rainbow spoke softly “What is going on here? Who is this kid?”

“I have no idea,” She moved to the kitchen and drank what little soup it remained “I found him outside of the Everfree Forest and he was injured, luckily the wound wasn’t serious.”

“That’s great and all Fluttershy,” Twilight spoke as she walked in the kitchen too “But his parents must be worried sick.”

“I know that Twilight, but there is some bad news I’m afraid.”

“Well tell us quick!” Rainbow raised her voice as she pointed back at the colt “We must go to Ponyville to reunite him with his parents!”

“Ummm…” Fluttershy hid on her mane and dried a tear that was falling down her cheek “I’m… I’m afraid that even if we do he won’t be able to recognize his parents.”

Twilight gasped while Rainbow tilted her head to the side. She grabbed her shoulders and looked at her in the eyes, or at least tried to seeing that the yellow pegasus’ mane is in the way.

“What are you talking about Flutters? If this is about that time that-”

“She means that he has amnesia, right Fluttershy?” Twilight interrupted her before Rainbow could bring that up again.

After a few seconds of silence she nodded slowly and Rainbow let her go. The three of them looked down in sadness, not knowing what to say at the moment nor what to exactly do.

Almost immediately the sound of music reached their ears, knowing Pinkie Pie she most likely been trying to cheer up the injured colt. Fear overcoming her Fluttershy quickly flew back to the living room, unsurprisingly Pinkie was playing like 10 instruments at the same time in what she assumed was an attempt to cheer him up.

An attempt that was failing since the colt was covering his ears with his hooves while his eyes were shut and gritting his teeth in annoyance.

Fluttershy tackled Pinkie, making the instruments fly off and for some reason landing safely. Fluttershy turned to check on the colt, he sighed and layed down on the couch.

“Phew,” She got off her friend and help her to get on her hooves “I’m so sorry Pinkie, but he is kind of a sensitive kid, I hope you can forgive him.”

“Ah no worries, it’s all good.” Pinkie smiled and bounced back to the colt on the couch.

“Doesn’t he have a name?” Twilight asked as she took another look at him.

“You CAN just ask me you know.” He interrupted in a rather annoyed tone and expression.

“You remember your name?” Twilight sat down to have him on the same eye level.

“It’s all I remember, my name is DB by the way.” He sat up on the couch again rubbing his templates.

“DB? What does it stand for?” Twilight turned back to Fluttershy who was making her way to him “Do you know Fluttershy?”

“No, neither of us know what it means.” She wrapped a wing around DB and nuzzled into his mane, which he didn’t seem to mind for some reason.

“Well anywho, I need to inform Mayor Mare about this. To see if anypony has seen him.”

“Small problem there Twilight,” Pinkie wrapped a hoof around her and pulled her close “I know everypony in Ponyville, and I do mean everypony. And I’m 101% sure that I’ve never seen this colt before.”

“Pinkie’s right,” Rainbow flew to Twilight’s other side “At best he could be some runaway colt from another city that got attacked on the Everfree Forest or something.”

Twilight remained quiet and started to think of a plan. Personally what Rainbow Dash implied there was impossible since he didn’t had any bags on him nor means of defending himself, specially since ponies at his age don’t know how to properly defend themselves with magic since it wasn’t well developed yet. For now all she could do was help DB regain his memory while looking for his parents, maybe they will turn up sooner or later.

“Um, guys?” DB spoke up gaining the attention of the mares in the room “I don’t feel very comfortable being naked all the fucking time, can’t you get me some clothes or something like that?”

Everypony but Fluttershy froze with their jaws dropped while their stare was kept on DB, they tried hard to process what just happened, until Fluttershy spoke again.

“I’m sorry, I tried to make him watch his language, but he wouldn’t let up.”

“Hey, I already introduced myself, mind introducing yourselves too?”

“Oh yeah,” Rainbow flapped her wings, doing a backflip and posing very proudly in the air “I am Rainbow Dash, the fastest pegasus of Equestria and future Wonderbolt!”

“Wow.” DB buried his face on his hooves momentarily while the proud pegasus gave a smugly smile that quickly faded very soon “I mean, wow! I literally felt how your ten mile long non-existent cock slapped me across the face now!”

“Why you little-” Rainbow tried to longue herself towards him, but she was held down by Twilight’s magic surrounding the brash pegasus’ tail while she flaied to catch the disrespectful colt.

“Your name is Pinkie Pie, right?” DB turned his attention to the party pony, visibly cringing when he saw her.

“Eeeyup, that’s me!” She smiled yet again as she took a gift out of her mane.

“Okay, I’ve had enough headaches for today, can I get my fucking clothes now?!” The young colt cut her off before she could say anything else and she dropped the gift in front of him.

While Rainbow had now calmed down, she had her hooves crossed and shooting a nasty glare at him. He’s lucky that he’s a kid and that Twilight was here to stop him.

“Um, are you sure you are well enough to be walking around?” Fluttershy asked DB as she helped him to get on his hooves and the young colt threw off the blanket.

He tried trotting a bit and he seems to be doing well, a bit wobbly but still well enough. Apparently whatever had attacked him he was running away from it and it drained him out of his energy.

“Yes, I’m okay Fluttershy! Jegus.” He groaned as he got scared by Pinkie’s up close smiling face and tumbled back.

“Open your present, I think you’ll like it.” Pinkie kept looking at him excitedly.

The young colt focused his sight on the present, grumbling as he slowly ripped it open. What he found inside was something he didn’t expect, it was a black cloak and hoodie that fit his size. It was absolutely perfect.

“How did you-”

“It’s Pinkie Pie dearie, don’t think too much about it.” Fluttershy assured him as he turned back to stare at Pinkie’s smiling face, which he wasn’t comfortable in looking at.

“Yeah, um…” DB’s voice trailed as he slowly started to put on the cloak and hood “Thanks Pinkie, I guess. And sorry for insulting you all.”

“It’s fine DB. Now I need to prepare your welcome party, see you girls later!” Pinkie galloped out the door before anypony could answer her. Fluttershy looked at the door, fearing how DB is gonna react with the party.

The young colt looked at himself over in a nearby mirror, he felt much better now that he had something to cover himself with, extra bonus with the black color and hoodie. The headache is now slowly disappearing, that’s another good thing at least.

But by looking at the way the brash pegasus was looking at him on the mirror he knew that he had a lot coming to him soon enough, specially with that pink pony that he is convinced that she does cocaine, a lot.

“So…” DB starts as he goes back to the living room, noticing that Fluttershy has gone off to feed her animals and left him alone with Twilight, but seems to have left without saying anything “You’re Princess Celestia’s student, right?”

“Hmm?” Twilight snapped out of her train of thought again “Oh yes, I am.”

“Can I get some lessons on magic sometime? I need something to defend myself against all the dangerous shit that is in Equestria.”

“Oh,” Twilight rubbed the back of her neck and looked away for a moment before she gazed back at him with a smile “I’m kinda busy lately, but I can teach you only if you behave.”

“Alright, know of any foals of my age that I can hang out with?”

“Maybe, but you have to wait until Pinkie’s party for you to find out~” Twilight responded in a singalong tone and snickered as DB growled a bit.

“Son of a- fine, I’ll go.”

“Fluttershy?” Twilight called out for her friend when she was done feeding her animals “I’m gonna go talk to the mayor, remember to take DB to his welcome party later.”

“Oh I would be glad to Twilight!” Fluttershy leaped in the air slightly, flapping her wings happily with a big smile on her face.

“But you have to promise to behave yourself this time, we don’t want to repeat what happened last time, do we?”

“As tempting as it is Twilight,” Fluttershy came back down as she looked at DB once again who was spending time with Angel “I’m gonna control myself this time, you don’t have to worry about it.”

Twilight nodded and went out the cottage, fully trusting of Fluttershy’s word. Sure, last time they talked her out of making an incident that she will regret, but she had friends that will look after her no matter what and that can trust each other. With her mind at ease she started to think of a search plan for finding DB’s parents.

DB and Fluttershy walked together through the seemingly empty streets of Ponyville, the sun was already setting on the horizon while the streetlights were turning on one by one.

“So let me get this straight,” DB started as he pulled his hood down “Princess Celestia and Luna are sisters.”

“Yes.” Fluttershy responded with a nod.

“And they have been raising the sun and the moon for a thousand years or so.”

“If Luna hasn’t turned into Nightmare Moon though.”

“Which was caused by the neglectance of her subjects and her own big sister.”

“Well, when you put it like that-”

“And she was in the right to be on cahoots with Celestia.”

“DB, I’m sure Princess Celestia didn’t meant it.” Fluttershy’s tone and expression became slightly sadder, but she quickly returned to a smile they started to see Sugarcube Corner in the distance, or what little they could see during the time.

“It’s a shame too,” DB continued talking while his tone turned a bit sad too “I really liked Luna’s Nightmare Moon look, so strong and beautiful.” He sighed as he let his mind wander for a bit. Imagining Princess Luna coming back as Nightmare Moon to claim the throne and get back at her bitch of a sister.

The again that whole eternal night plan is stupid, appreciate my work or the world dies frozen? Yeah, he had to admit that did sound childish and unreasonable, had to handle it to Sunbutt just this once. Yet again he would be batshit insane too if he was sealed on the moon for a thousand years.

The young colt snapped back to reality to realise that they are heading towards a house made of gingerbread and other sweets with the lights turned off and a sign that looked like a cupcake hanged on top of the door saying ‘Sugarcube Corner’.

DB tried to protest, but Fluttershy had already opened the door to the dark bakery shop and tried to encourage him to follow her inside as she disappeared in the shadows. He still had doubts about this whole thing, fearing that she might have called that sugar addict pony for something that he fears to even think about, but to his misfortune there is only one way to go about this.

Taking a deep breath he stepped inside too, his heart racing as the door closed itself sealing the moonlight that was coming through it. He thought that it was that maybe he was just afraid of the dark and that annoying pink pony, or that he was lead here just so Rainbow Cunt could get her revenge by beating him up or something.

But all his fears were put to rest as the lights came on, which made him cover his eyes and heard lots of ponies yelling ‘SURPRISE!’ as they rose from their hiding places, including the three mares that Fluttershy presented them to him. DB’s eyes finally adjusted to the lights and saw the crowd of ponies giving him a big smile.

“I have the feeling this town will be un-fucking-believable.” DB muttered to himself as he rubbed his eyes.”
