Letter

Twilight Sparkle was laughing like mad along with Spike, Rainbow Dash, and Pinkie Pie. Rainbow and Pinkie had finally convinced Twilight to join in on their weekly pranksters' outing, and together they had successfully replaced all of the door handles on the town hall with gelatin replicas while the mayor was out.

“Ohmigosh-omigosh-ohmigosh!” Rainbow Dash shouted in her fits of laughter. “The look on her face! I'm surprised she didn't call the guards!”

“Oooooh,” Pinkie Pie offered. “How about we replace Rarity's mane-spray with spray-on-tan again?”

“Wait!” Twilight interrupted. “I have an even better idea. Spike! Take a letter.”

The letter had not yet vanished into Spikes green fire before the friends were rolling on the ground again.

Princess Celestia cricked her neck to find a welcoming pop. Reviewing tax reports was always tiring, especially since the last issue was resolved decades ago. Celestia closed her eyes and allowed herself a yawn, because it was so rare that she was left alone in her quarters like this long enough to relax. She heard a small, familiar “poof” and opened her eyes again.

A small smile graced her lips that she only used for her student's letters. After another yawn, she opened the scroll eagerly.

Her student had sent her a letter. The scroll read “U”.

Celestia sat frozen for a moment longer, before  smiling wider, showing teeth. Yes, Trollestia's student was learning well.
