Loose-Ends 2: the sixth spell
Is there ever a raid that doesn't end with me waking up in a prison cell? I honestly can't say. Except this time i'm in a prison that is off the mane-land. This was a raid to capture some "Important Bay city" but really, I think it was Vinyl's way of saying: "I'm a bit pissed at you right now". "So you too?" says the mare in my cell. "Huh?" I say, returning to reality. "Oh, not for long." I continue, and position myself in front of the door. "Solid steel. Can't kick it down even with that leg of yours." she continues. "Yeah, I noticed." I had already tried to kick it down. "What now, wait for execution?" She asks. "Oh hell no. I'm getting out of here." I reply. "How?" She inquires, looking puzzled. "Watch." I say before yelling: "BESERK!" and ramming down the door. "Hol-y shit!" she says, getting up. And with her getting up, her shadow does too. but then, it takes a different path before rising up against the wall. Alpha. The way they wind against the wall is a signature. The shadow rises behind the mare before snapping her neck. Out of my spellbook. Containing 20 spells, plus the five "Splits" I find "Hidden" works the best against an alpha. "Hidden" I whisper before fading into my shadow. As a shadow, you see the actual ponies as shadows, and their shadows as ponies. But an alpha has no shadow, but it's gaping maw, purple claws, and grey eyes give it away. As a shadow, you can do anything. Turn your arm into a sword, give yourself extra libs, anything. But, it gives you away. See, the way an alpha becomes your shadow is by killing your shadow. But an Alpha terror isn't as bad as an omega. Anyways, The spells as a shadow are insane. They take a red form. they do much more than they should. I can cast them in actual form, but It's immoral. And they weaken yourself. As well, instead of shouting, you whisper them. Shadow spells are truly strange. Vinyl uses them, And that explains why she's a bitch. Nah, she's just pissed at me. "Impact" I whisper before the alpha disintegrates. "Reunion" I whisper before appearing behind Viny's shadow. I rise out from the shadow form and wait behind her. The scene is pretty Cliche, she's going to close the mirror cabnet and see me suddenly behind her. She closes the cabnet and before she freaks I say: "Rawr", And after that, her hoof is in my face. "How the hell did you get in here?" Vinyl asks. "#3" I whisper before turning into a shadow again and swirling around her like a creeper. "Damn it. When did you learn that?" she asks. "When you sent me to be captured on the "Important Bay city" I saw some Alphas doing it."I reply. "Next time not in my bathroom. An added creeper effect is the fact that you are swriling around me." She says before preforming her Alpha fighting technique, it makes her hooves able to hit shadows or something. "Well, first off, this is my house. My bathroom, your shit's inside." I ring, now in my regular form. "Why the hell Did I move in with you? I could have moved in with dash or fluttershy." She half-complains-half-asks.
"Your house was made into barracks for Grey-Faction. Besides, Dash is always bragging, and Fluttershy's never talking, so you can't start a conversation." I answer, adding "Hidden" to: Split's spellbook: Pegasus magic with a footnote saying: Don't preform near Vinyl, makes her bitch form activate.

I hate jumping out of a baloon with an injured wing. Currently I'm spiraling towards the Everfree forest. It's less of the falling, more the landing that I hate. I'm going to smash into trees. And smashing into trees going ninety five miles per hour, Does not feel good. Especially the way that always happens to me. I hit a branch, hit the next, the one after that, basically, It sucks. "Fuck, ouch, bitch, motherfucker, shit, damn it, ow, fuck, Son of a bitch!" I yell, with each word I hit another branch. I hit the ground hard. And of course in front of me is a mix of all breeds of terrors. "Damn it Vinyl!" I yell before getting up. "Hostile environment." I whisper before feeling the magical control of the plants. An Omega comes up and before I can react it yells: "IMPACT!". Instead of hitting a tree, I stabilize and slide the rest of the way. Hostile Environment Starts taking affect. The trees lift out of their rootings and hover in the air before smashing down on the terrors. Damn it, I wish I had thought of something witty to say at that point. The only thing I can think is: Don't tread on me, bitch. A chuckle breaks the silence. "Sometimes, Split. You make this so easy on me. You made it easy for me on all targets related to you." Says an all but too familiar voice. "I wish you still didn't have a mouth." I say, my back still turned. "Oh, what was her name, Sky, Sun? Oh yes, Star. She was such an easy tar-" The voice starts before my Rage takes a affect, and silences the voice. When I turn around, It is the gray skied, lakeside warzone that I hate to see. But If I turn it's still there. "No Not again!" I yell, before attacking the creature standing above Star, before it attacks her. "CLEANSE!" I yell at the creature, me now standing above it. It screeches, "CLEANSE!" I scream again. The creature fizzles into a smoke that dissapates into the air. but as one is gone, three more are now over Star, Tearing out her organs and practically playing with them. The Rage and Passion take over my body as it is now Glowing orange. This was the same feeling before Cleanse worked for the first time. I shout something in Ancient equestrian and everything returns to the forest. This was it, my ancient power. The translation Goes like: "Cleansing singularity." the ancient equestrian version goes like: "Asedya Domartica Impil". Slender-Mane runs off like the pussy he is. The Terrors have dissapeared. As I get ready to try to fly, I notice my hoof. There is an orange line running down it, to my arm, to my chest, to my rear legs, up my neck, to my wings. Needless to say: I looked badass. Even my vision had a slight orange tint. "Asedya." I mutter, and the glow goes away. I sit on a log, and think: What did he mean, easy targets? I don't know. I hear a crunch, and yell to myself: "Impil!" and the glow returns. "Holy shit, man! Chill, It's me Vinyl. You ok?" Says the voice from behind. As I turn, I see Vinyl, but she does not look happy, probably because she was being Stallion-handled by Slender-Mane. "Damn it! No! Let her go!" I scream. "What did I say, Easy target!" SM exclaims. "Let..her..go. I'll take her place." I say, head high, even though my thoughts were flipping out. "Wonderful!" he cheers, and Vinyl gets let go. "Split... You don't have to do this." She says, tearing up behind her goggles. "It's time, this has gone on too long, Vinyl...I..I...have something to say." I say, on the verge of tears. "I-I-I love you." I say, hot tears rolling down my face. "Split, I love you too." She says, and then I'm gone.

--And we are all free! Thanks to the grey faction rebel: Split-ends.-- the radio buzzed, in the homes of millions, but most were partying in the streets, except for a few. Those few were escorting the hero to the hospital. "Damn it, hang in there Split!" Vinyl cried. I'm fading in and out now. All I know is that there are tears falling on my face. And a constant "Wake up, please just wake up, please..." And I try, I really do, but I cant, I'm losing my hearing, my eyes won't open, I can't do anything, the pain is intense. I try to let go but I can't. But then there is the day I hear "You can't put him down, he saved all your asses! STOP! No!" At that point I feel Vinyl is in trouble, and I force myself to wake up. My eyes open, and I see Vinyl fighting against a few doctors, And a needle about to enter my skin. "What the fuck do you think you're doing?" I ask the doctor with the needle. The needle is lifted away from me, and Vinyl runs up to the hospital bed. Before I can say anything, Vinyl kisses me, And I embrace the action. "Don't do that again, okay?" she says, Resting her head on my chest. "No guarantees." I joke. "Yeah, I won't do it again." I say. But a promise is only good with anypony else.
Two days later we figured that there was a false alarm, Everything is still happening.
So now Im sitting in a zepplin, waiting to jump.
"Three. Two. One. GO!" someone yells as the door opens.
I Grab my shit and dive. The wind is whipping at my face. I somewhat love my job. Before I open my eyes my magic is already lighting up my body. This is going to be awesome. I land on a terror, and immidiately start kicking flank, with my false leg.
A terror jumps on me, and I simply whisper a dark spell. The terror lifts into the air, then Its arms and legs rip off, and the terror explodes. The fearful blood splatters on my face. The feeling fills me with joy.
Wait, what have I become? A killing machine? This isnt me. I don't know whats going on.
Before I know it, my Orange magic veins turn red.
I am filled with power.
Then, A tentacle lashes me into a nearby lake. I swin to the surface, and to the shore. I am now breathless, So I sit for a minute then see my reflection.
Gnarling, sharp, Bloody teeth. Black fur, and Black eyes. Then, the reflection rises out of the water, and lunges for me.
"Quite an enemy for you, Isn't that correct, Split? said a voice I really want to stick a sword into.
"God damnit! Do you ever fucking die?!" I yell, trying to get the reflection's hooves off of my throat.
"Really, You know I won't answer that question." The voice says.
"Yeah, Slendy, you never were a pony for questions." I say, Bashing the reflection.
The voice chuckles.
I impact the reflection, and then go to tackle Slender-Mane.
Of course, being a pussy, he teleports.
"Try again" it mocks.
"Sure" says a voice behind it.
"Impact." The voice whispers where Slendy's ears would be.
The grey nightmare is sent flying, and into the lake.
"I could have done that on my own, Vinyl."
"Yeah sure, and I'm a stallion" she says, looking at the writhing reflection.
"The hell is that?" She asks, going to poke it.
As soon her hoof makes contact, the reflection barfs up something that turns into a version of Vinyl.
God, I hope thats not the reproduction cycle for those things. I am going to be kicking them a lot.
"Vinyl, take me, Ill take you." I say.
"Yeah that sounds nice,but can we wait until those things are dead?" she asks.
"That wasnt what I -" I start before Vinyl pulls out her disc launcher. It has been modified to be semi auto apparently.
So the Vinyl copies her, pulling a disc launcher out of no where.
And now I know what a record in the side feels like. It hurts like a bitch.
But I Feel we have bigger problems
Because Rising out of the lake is a giant shadow.
I pull out my radio and speak: "uh guys, we have a little problem"

"Soo touching." SM mocks. "Shut the hell up." I say."Oh is the little filly going to cry?" He mocks again "Silence!" I yell at him, and his mouth dissapears. "You know I'm going to kill you out there." I say, glow slowly grows. His head gives the vision of a "I don't know about that.". I am pretty pissed. This creature took my life from me. And here I am, ready to fight it to the death. "Impil" I whisper, and the glow is back. As soon as we reach the center stage, I notice the white floors are stained red, and ponies of all sizes are torn apart to create Operator symbols. Disadvantage. But the fight is being broadcast to both sides, and I know Vinyl is watching, because, well, it's like her to do that. But the main thing troubling me is the Center's operator symbol. The wings, horn, and purple fur. It's Star. At the sight of this, the markings of the glow multiply, and separate from my body. "I'm going to make sure it's slow." I say, getting in stance, and I guess he would have said something witty here. Split, perfect name for me here. He makes the first move, and rushes towards me, and tackles me. One of his tentacles enters my skin, and it burns. "No." I say, softly. It pauses in blunder. "Impact" I whisper, and the dark spell sends him flying. He staggers back up, and my chest is still bleeding. Above the pain, I feel something approaching from behind. A shadow. Before I can react, a hoof is resting on me. "V-Vinyl?!" I ask, spurting up blood. My vision is clouding, and it's getting hard to breath. "Vinyl, stay here, I'm finishing it. I did start it anyways." I say, limping forwards. And of course as I have an ally, he has thrity two. Only one option. The word is know known for my sixth, and It's simple. "SPLIT!" I yell, and the terrors fall apart. Slender-Mane starts to cower in fear. "It's over, you have taken soo much from us all, And now It's over!" I say, before stomping in his skull with my Prothstetic leg. the brain matter splatters over my smile, over Vinyl's smile, and over the stadium, for a stomp, it was like an explosion. an explosion that knocked me out.
