Dear Soarin...View OnlineGoodbye my loveDear Soarin...Dear Soarin, my holidays been great, its nice to have a break from all the hard work that comes with being a Wonderbolt. The weather has been lovely and calm, great for going on relaxing walks through the nearby forests, hope to see you soon, Spitfire. The firey maned pegasus carefully put down the ink stained pen on the solid oak table before her. She picked up the letter and trotted outside to where her obsidian mailbox a short distance from the soectacular, luxurious hotel, as she cantered through the garden she couldn't help but notice the magnificent emerald colour it was rather dazzling, she popped the slightly crumpled letter into the mailbox and trotted slowly back to the gigantic building towering towards her. Dear Soarin its been a few days since I sent you my letter why have you not answered? Your probaly busy training the cadets, oh well its not easy being a Wonderbolt after all. Please reply when you get some free time, can't wait to fly with you again, Spitfire. The stunning yellow mare sighed putting the pen down, it was passed midnight and she was tired, she yawned as she slowly walked out into the garden and almost creep to the mailbox, she put her letter inside, she looked around, the howling wind it her like a bullet knocking her like a domino, the pitch black shadows lingered in the darkness, as the shly turned and galloped back into the huge tower before her. She slumped into bed and snuggled into the freshly washed covers, slowly closing her amber eyes, she turned onto her back, rested her majestic wings and fell into a deep, dream filled slumber. Soarin its been a week why don't you answer, are you training extra hard or spending more time with the young fliers either way your worrying me, if you don't answer soon I will cut my holiday short, I can't enjoy myself stressing out whether your okay or not, did I upset you or make you made, if so I'm sorry Soarin. I miss you, please reply when you get this, Spitfire. The stressed out elite flier finished writing her letter she popped it into the envolope and stuck a stamp on it, she grabbed it into her mouth, teeth clenched she hurried out of her room, into the lobby and out into the garden, the birds sung from the tree tops high up above her as she opened the obsidian metal container and put the dented paper inside, closing the lid tightly and sadly trotting back inside why won't he answer? Thst was the only question on her mind was he angry? Was he upset? Did something happen? Was he ill? Maybe he was out? Spitfire just did not know, it played on her mind all day every day, this was a holiday, this wasn't relaxing, this was hell, it was too much for the young, athletic mare to take she quickly grabbed a pen and some paper, she also got another envolope and stamp. Soarin I am coming home! See you soon, yours truly, Spitfire.
A loving goodbyeView OnlineGoodbye my loveA loving goodbyeAs they entered the room we saw Soarin, his weak frame under the snow white sheets, they trotted over to him, eyes tearing up, "guess this is it huh?" Soarin said breaking the silence "I guess so" The white maned pegasus replied, looking down at her hooves, a few tears spilling down her cheeks. "Fleetfoot, you have been an amazing mare to fly with and I am proud to called you one of my best friends, keep trying your hardest and never, ever give up" The dying stallion said with passion, lifting a hoof to wipe away her tears. "And you Spitfire, I think now is a great time to tell you that your the most beautiful mare I have ever seen, and I love you very much" Soarin said smiling. "I love you too" Spitfire said back, she broke down, tear streamed down her face like a waterfall Soarin sat up a bit and opened out his arms, Spitfire practically jumped into them sobbing into his chest she leant back and connected her lips with his, the kiss felt so right, so passionate, but she new she would never get this feeling again and so did he, Fleetfoot watched, crying even more now, the scene infront of her was truly touching. Suddenly Soarin pulled back and started to cough violently "SOARIN!" Both mares cried, knowing they didn't have much times left. Soarin took Spitfires hoof "promise me, you will train hard and be the best, never give up Spitfire thats what you always told me" He said crying now too. "I will, I will never forget you Soarin, I love you so much" Spitfire cried as more tears feel, with his free hoof Soarin wiped them away. "I love you too" His grip on his lover loosened, his body was still, not a sign of movement was seen, the deathly, constant beep of the heart moniter filled the room, he was gone, Soarin was gone, and he wasn't coming back. Fleetfoot hugged Spitfire, and she hugged back, the yellow mare stared lovingly at her lovers body, fresh tears fell down her cheeks once more, she smiled, "Goodbye Soarin, goodbye my love"
I'm coming homeView OnlineGoodbye my loveI'm coming homeThe captain of the Wonderbolts bolted around the hotel room, collecting her thing up and hurling them into her saddlebag on the other side of the luxurious, rather spacious bedroom, she finished packing rather quickly, probaly because she was a bit panicked and in a hurry. She grabbed the sunset orange bag and threw it over her back tightening it so it was too loose or too tight she galloped down the windy staircase, through the lobby and out the incredible, cyrstal doors. When the firey mare reached a clearing she spread her wings out and flapped, she took off with ease into the ocean blue sky, it was so clear today and cloud free she thought as she soared through the maze of birds that were flocking towards her, she spun round like a tornado, she had not been this happy since she left for her holiday over a week ago, boy she had high hopes for a nice, relaxing break, but looks like she missed Soarin so much and the fact he didn't answer her letters really bothered me, could the stallion she loves hate her? Was he angry or upset, or maybe he was ill, oh my gosh maybe hes hurt! The yellow mare shook her head she needed to stop her worrying he was fine obviously he was, she was just getting ahead of herself. After a few hours if endless flying the towering, gigantic and very familiar building came into view, the academy.
The tragedyView OnlineGoodbye my loveThe tragedySpitfire dived towards the ground and gracefully landed this place is deserted she thought wondering why nopony was training outside, she shrugged it off and trotted inside, she galloped up the stair to Saroarins room and knocked twice on the door no answer, she was about to knock again when she was interrupted by a familiar voice "Spitfire, why are you back from your holiday so early?" Her friend and fellow Wonderbolt Fleetfoot spoke with a slight lisp. "Well I was writing letters to Soarin but he wasn't answering, guess I got worried and hurried back" Spitfire replied rather embaressed. "Oh yeah about that, I was just about to write you a letter about why he has not answered you, but I guess your her now so I might as well tell you now face to face" Fleetfoot sadly said guilt flashed in her dazzling eyes. "Why do you look so sad, what happend?" The captain asked clueless. "well" she started "a tornado drill went wrong and some young cadets nearly got caught in it, but Soarin saved them by pushing them out the way and taking the hit himself, at first it didn't seem to bad but his injuries got worse and so did his condition intil the doctors could no longer help him they said he only has a few hours left to love" The sky blue pegasus finished a tear fell from her eye "I am so sorry" She looked so sad. Spitfire gasped eyes tearing up, the floodgates threatened to break, she put a caring hoof on her friends shoulder "It is not your fault Fleetfoot, now where is he" Spitfire said trying to stay calm. "In the hospital room 14, I will show you, we need to say goodbye anyway" She replied, head down both mares trotted sadly outside and took off on a silent flight to where there loved one lay.
