"I can't believe it! My cousin has her cutie mark but none of us can find ours!" Applebloom said exasperated.

"Calm down AB, we'll find them eventually. We're just not looking hard enough" Scootaloo said in reply.

"We could try to follow Babs advice" Dinky told them.

"But what does it mean we can't figure it out" Sweetie Belle said in reply.

"Guys I've told you I think I understand" Spike said "I think she meant to do things we enjoy or what we're good at"

"Well were good at trying to find our cutie marks" Scootaloo said "WHAT IF THAT'S OUR CUTIE MARKS"

"Umm I don't think so" Dinky said. Sighing the five ponies approached the Ponyville library, Spikes home, and entered. Dropping their bags on the floor and taking out their homework they began to work on the floor. Not too long after they began they heard the sound of someone running down the stairs. Looking up they saw Spike's mom, Twilight Sparkle, running down the stairs in a hurry.

"Hi Spike and Spike's friends, Im looking for a book. Have you happened to see one with a red cover and a picture of a potion?"

"Nope Mom, have you checked in your office at Canterlot?" Spike asked. Without responding Twilight teleported out of the room and the crusaders went back to their work. Soon they were looking through the books in the library involving cutie marks. Every time the found something interesting they would shout it across the room.

"Did you know that the average time to get a cutie mark is between the ages of eight and sixteen" Sweetie said as she read.

"Well in here it says that you have probably experienced getting a cutie mark two times because many ponies find their special talent but don't figure it out. Do you think it could have happened to us?" Scootaloo said.

"Possibly" Spike said "Wait in this book it says that some ponies don't EVER get their cutie marks"

"Well we'll find them. I swear we will. Ya now why?" Applebloom said.

"We are persistent?" Dinky said.

"We don't know when to stop?" Spike said.

"No, its cause were they Cutie Mark Crusaders" Applebloom said. Right after she finished saying this statement Twilight teleported back inside the house. But this time she had a book with.

"Guys, its nearly seven!" Twilight cried "Im surprised your sisters haven't tried to contact me yet! Now go home"

Groaning the crusaders got up saying good-bye to Spike except for Dinky who lingered.

"Dinky, are you going to go home?" Twilight asked.

"Umm well Im not sure my home will be there" Dinky said.

Sighing Twilight walked over and whispered something to Dinky's before turning to Spike and saying "Walk Dinky home dear". Nodding Spike walked out of the library with Dinky and headed in the general direction Dinky normally headed in.

"So what did you mean by your house disappearing?" Spike asked her.

"Oh umm" Dinky said obviously trying to figure out what to say "I meant that sometimes I get lost along the way"

"How can you get lost on the way to your house?"

"I have a bad memory"

"OK then. I've never asked but do you have any other family besides you mom and dad?"

"Huh, oh no, well I mean my mom could be pregnant but I don't know anything about it. Do you have any other family?'

"No. All the family I really have is my mom and here family"

"Did you ever know your..... dragon mother?"

"Nope, my mom hatched me when I was an egg and the Princess didn't know either. She hadn't even known that I had been a dragon egg"

"That must have been awkward. Not knowing that one of the students would be opening a dragon egg"

"Yeah I guess. But the funny thing was, that right after hatching me Twilight grew me to the size of a full grown dragon" This caused a laugh between the pair.

"That's my house up ahead. Im glad it's here. I mean im glad I didn't get lost. You must be a good luck charm Spike" Dinky said laughing. But if Dinky said anything else Spike didn't hear. He was to busy looking at what Dinky called a house. It looked like a small blue box and the fact that three ponies lived there was just unimaginable. He followed Dinky up to the door. She knocked before she turned around back to Spike.

"Thanks for walking home with me. So I'll see you tomorrow or on Monday" she said as though she wanted him to leave before she went inside. He was about to turn around before he saw a heavily impregnated Derpy at the door.

"Hey Muffin how was your day?" Derpy asked "I see you brought one of you friends home is it the one you have a-"

"Hey mom. My day was great but im really tired so Im going to go to bed." she said quickly. "Bye Spike" Dinky said one more time but this time with a heavy blush on her face before rushing inside and closing the door behind her.

"How could she not notice that her mom isn't pregnant. I mean you'd have to blind to not notice it" Spike said to himself as he walked back home, lost in his thoughts.
