There exist "Messengers of Magic" who have the power to grant one wish to a chosen girl. However, that girl must then become a Magic Mare and fight against witches, evil creatures born from curses that are responsible for murders and suicides. A schoolgirl named Twilight Sparkle and her friend Rainbow Dash are approached by one of these Messengers of Magic named Spike and a Magic Mare named Fluttershy with an offering to become a Magic Mare. But as this is all happening, Pinkie Pie (a.k.a. Pinkamania), another Magic Mare, tries to prevent Twilight and friends from making such a deal...
