..."Fair thee well?" Keneth said cringing " Man that sounds cheesy as hell!"
"Oh come on Ken! That was probable the most bad ass thing I have ever heard!" Wallic replied feeling excited "I mean it was as if our destiny was to become heroes!"
Keneth shook his head, patting the pudgy companion next to him.
"Yea, I do have to admit it would be pretty awesome to go on a fantasy like journey. Even if your dream is nothing, but a dream."
Wallic grinned picking up his pace in front of his Hispanic friend "Oh man I can't wait to tell Cloid! Come on let's hurry!"
Keneth laughed stretching his limbs "You wanna face fatty?!"
"Bring it buto!" Wallic barked back dashing down the street. Keneth took a deep breath and bounded in pursuit.
'Were is it? Were in the world is it?'
Cloid thought frantically 'The bus is about to be here and those two have yet to arrive!' He searched and pillaged, desperately trying to find his lost item.
He panned to his left picking up an LCD digital camera "There you are!" He said aloud "1080p. You got to love it. Now all we need is for those two to show up." As if on cue, a sudden and annoying knock came to the door, causing him to flinch.
"Well speak of the devil."
With a slight intake of breath, he opened the door to be greeted by a tack hug.
"Whoa! HAHA nice to see you too Wally!"
Cloid said patting his friend tenderly.
"Cloid!" Wallic said with joy "It has been soooooooooooo long! I would have thought you would forget us!" He squeezed harder turning the victim he was holding blue "Now here we are about to go on an adventure!"
Cloid pushed him off and smiled gasping for air "Well..." He gulped regaining oxygen "It was supposed to be a group assignment, so who better to help me on this than my two best pals!"
Keneth Grinned, lending a hand to Cloid "Hey how about we talk about this when we get on the bus."
Taking the hand he nodded, then grabbed his stuff and went out the door.
"You guys have your cameras?" He asked hoping that they did.
"I got my iPhone. Ken has the one you gave him." Wallic said in confirmation.
"Okay good. Alright let's go!" Cloid cheered leading onto the bus.
"So where are we headed amigo?" Keneth questioned pulling his mp3 player.
"I decided to book a trip to the Pocono Mountains." Cloid replied digging through his pack "The professor assigned us to go somewhere with a large and diverse biome and study the landscape, and the organisms that inhabit it. So I chose to go there, but it might have been a mistake doing so. Never been to the place so I have no idea if it's legit."
"Sounds cool enough. Do you have a report to write or something?" His friend continued, pressing for more excitement.
"Yea about eight pages worth, front and back. I also have to take videos or pictures to go along with it." Cloid sighed, the pressure of the work crushing his will to work.
Keneth gave a face of shock, surprised by the amount of labor "Danm bro! I am never going into your field of interest. Hell I might not even attend collage!"
Wallic chuckled gaining ken's attention
:"What?" Keneth questioned angrily staring daggers at him
Wallic waved his hand dismissively, clearly not threatened "Nothing. It's just that, with your grades, no collage would take you!"
"Hey at least I'm going to graduate!" He shot back, the embarrassment noticeable on his face.
"Thank god for that! Pfff ha ha ah! I'm just messing with you man. You're doing fine." He patted his angry friend's back playfully "Want a band aid for that butt hurt?"
"Chinga usted." Keneth muttered irritably.
"Ah stop it you guys. We got another three hours till we get there." Cloid chided
An hour went by with small talk hopping in every now and then. Keneth stayed quiet listening to Tristam's "Flight" bobbing his head to the beat.
Wallic yawned and stretched, trying to stay awake. He poked his head around to Cloid "Oh! Cloid?"
"Yea?" He replyed, using his computer to search up sources as he wrote his report.
"I had a strange dream."
"Okay?"
He explained his dream about the lady's prophesy like speech. The large barren battle field full of mythical creatures at war with each other. Then the vision of a sleeping anime, cat, pony thing.
"And the animal was like a peppermint green and it had anime hair and eyes. It was pretty cute actually."
Cloid scratched his chin in thought, surprised how much detail he remembers "That's vary interesting. Especially how much there was to the dream."
"Yea, especially the cute creature." He said dreamily, drooling a bit.
Cloid scooted away, a little creeped out, but smiled glad to be back with his friends. He laid back closing his eyes, drifting off into a daydream.
The fog of the sleep dissipates to reveal a room made of cobble stone with wooden support beams. The theme of it seemed like a mid-evil times captain's room.
Cloid gazed around, noticing a creature with its low half a lion and the upper an eagle 'A Griffin?' He thought stepping closer, noticing the griffin was talking to something. A small glass orb, glowing with a pink light, projecting a hologramed griffin.
"Yes I understand..." She spoke in an attitude, sensitive yet kind.
The hologram griffin touched his face, pinching the bridge of his beak "Gea. I know you don't like what the lord is doing, but your just going to have to believe he knows what he is doing." The voice sounded juvenile, but protective, like an older brother. The griffin known as Gea sighed, clearly stressed "I know he is our leader, but that doesn't mean he is smart!"
She sat up, pacing irritably "Okay, I will trust the lord, but if I find out he is wrong..." She stopped there, the other griffin getting the point.
"Alright then, let us hope that it doesn't come to that... Good night Gea."
"Surely. Good night Leo."
The orb flashed off leaving Gea to another sigh "I don't see why the lord trusts the changlings, but if a war against the pony princess is going to help the world, then nothing is right..."
The scene melts to a small cabin room with a sleeping yellow creature with long pink hair.
'Woah... Is this the creature Wally was talking about? Hmm no he said it was mint green...' He thought reaching down petting its face 'They kinda look like horses, yet they don't. They look very cute actually... God damn it WALLIC!'
The creature grumbled opening its eyes.
Cloid awoke with a loud yawn, stretching his arms out. Looking down at his computer to see-
"AWW DUDE!" He cringed.
Whipping his head around, he gave Wallic the stare of aggravation, and it is growing "What the hell dude!?"
Wallic turned, a smile on his face "What ever are you talking about?" he said batting his eyelashes.
Shaking his head, Cloid punchbuggied Wallic and closed the explicit picture.
"Ow!" He complained "What don't you like Annie butt?
"I'm not the type of guy to be looking at League hentai..."
"NO FUN!" Wallic huffed, crossing his arms.
About a couple of hours have past since the bus dropped them off. The sky began changing to the color of dusk.
"How Much longer till we get to the motel?" Wallic droned, slowly losing his pace.
Cloid rolled his eyes "It should be another half hour..."
"DAMN!" The tiered boy said angrily, the hike nearly killing him.
Keneth snickered gaining Wallic's attention "What!" He said irritably.
Keneth just shrugged, putting his hands behind his head "Nothing. Just that the town we are heading to has a Wiener-schnitzel ."
Wallic's eyes went as large as dinner plates, grinning brightly "Really?" He asked like an excited school girl.
"Yea.."
"ALRIGHT!" He wooped, jumping in the air, and dashing off in to the distance.
"HEY BABOSO! Do you even know where the hell you're going?" Keneth yelled after.
"Eh he's already gone. Come on let's catch up with him." Cloid said trudging forward.
The moon has arose. }
"Damn it! It's already night fall and that dumb-ass is nowhere to be seen." Keneth growled "Now we're lost in this god forsaken forest!"
Containing his impulse to smack Keneth up side the head Cloid noticed a green glowing light off in the thicket.
"Let's check over there." He trotted over, curiosity growing. Upon closer inspection the light was moving.
The two hid behind a bush, and peeked over it to see that it was a tiny fairy like creature. It had large dragonfly wings that reflected the colors blue and green. The body was animal yet human and covered with short fur. The head was slightly larger in proportion, but not enough to signal any lack of attraction, while the on its head was spread short yet radical, giving it a tomboyish look.
"The hell is that?" Keneth asked in a whisper to his friend.
He shook his head and shrugged, not sure of what it is either.
In a bush on the opposite side Wallic was stalking the light.
"Wallic!" Keneth yelled quietly patting and shoving cloid to look.
"I see him!" He hissed annoyed by his actions.
Wallic positioned his self like a cat about ready to pounce to catch its prey.
Going wide eye Cloid jumped as, sir eats a lot misses catching his target, thanks to a cock-block from the talk man himself.
The moment causing Wallic to fall face first, creating a loud "thud" followed by a groan of pain.
"Oww." He continued, slowly getting himself up. Turing to Cloid he rubbed his sore face "Hey..." He said sorrowfully, getting another knock to the head by Keneth.
"Never do that again. We nearly lost ya!"
"Sorry... So where is the fairy?"
"You mean the flying thing?" Keneth questioned.
"It's right here." Cloid answered "It seems to be unconsi-" At that moment the creature awoke, looking around in confusion.
It peered around Cloid's hand sniffing and gripping him.
"What is this?" It said with an adorable female voice, licking his finger "It tastes bitter so is it food?"
Cloid began to giggle the fairy's actions tickling him "Heh that tickles."
Looking up she gasps in surprise at the being before her "Oh my! H-hi..."
Keneth raised his hand in greeting "Yo."
Wallic arose beside her breathing heavily "Hi my name is Wallic, CAN I PET YOU!"
Flinching, the creature backed up slowly "M-my name is Neith and how about you not."
Pulling his hand away, Cloid smacked Wallic with the other "Don't mind him. My name is Cloid, what are you?"
"I'm a wisp."
Looking at him with a thoughtful mind Neith asked "What are you guys?"
"Us? We're humans."
"HUMANS?"
"Y-yea." He replied in shock.
"Oh this is great great great!" She said excitedly "Come! You guys must follow me."
"Why?"
"No time to explain, just come on!" She floated up, waving her hand encasing the boys in a magic bubble zipping away with the boys in tow.
"Where are we going?" Keneth asked freaking out.
"Here here!" She flew into a cave illuminating the walls. Pictures of horses flashed by on the walls showing them next to the sun and the moon.
Further down they came to an open room with a swirling vortex of black and neon green.
"What is that?" Cloid yelled over the roar of the whirlpool.
Neith looked at the three humans with a large smile "It's a portal to my world!"
"Your what?" Wallic said surprised "Are we chosen heroes?"
Giggling she thrust her hand out in a thumbs up "Maybe~" She said teasingly before whisking them off into the portal, watching them scream in terror.
Flying in after them Neith grinned 'I did it! I got the creature the Queen was looking for. Not just one, but three! Oh this is great, now I can finally become the rank of Greton and save the world at the same time. BONUS!' She giggled continuously as the portal engulfs her.
