Epilogue
Twilight
This was one of the most stressful weeks I had ever had. I had to tell him to come back. But after 5 months would he forgive me? To help make more sense I’ll tell you’re my story, or our story.
I had been in a relationship with a certain pony. He was a commander of a group who hunted monsters and weird things. But it was what he wore and how he acted that made me turned on. When he was hunting or with friends he would wear a leather jacket and a helmet made out of bronze and dark silver. Plus when wearing those clothes he is serious, angry, and deadly. After he found out I was pregnant he couldn’t take it. I could understand, with work and us not being married. He stayed with one of his greatest friends. My brother, Shining armor. He was staying at the Crystal Empire. But now I need him more than ever.
I have to write to Shining, to tell him that Neon needs to come back.

It was a dark Thursday morning, also a very painful morning. I was still on a hangover from last night. To help get rid of it, I decided to get glass of water, I later found out that wasn’t the best idea. When my hoof hit the floor a splintering pain surged throughout my body. “Aw shit” I mumbled under my breath. I took a look down at my hoof, there several shards of glass stuck in there, leaving cuts and gashes. I woozily stumbled to the bathroom, tripping several times. I looked into the mirror seeing my bruised bloodshot face. I made many attempts to pull the glass out myself but it didn’t help. I limped out of the bathroom to the door. It was still the early hours of the morning so I lay on the floor sticking my head out, waiting for a guard on shift to notice me. Luckily there was a dim yellow flickering light coming from the corridor. A few seconds after turning he noticed my head on the floor. He set down his lantern and ran over. “S-sir, are you alright?” He said in a hushed yell. “Yeah can y-you just get me a doctor please?” I stuttered. “Right away”, he turned around grabbed his lantern and galloped off into the darkness. Close to ten minutes later the “Royal” Crystal Doctor came over to me. He helped me over to the couch. “May I see the wound?” He politely questioned. Instead of giving him a verbal response a raised my hoof to his eyesight. “Oh my, it’s nothing I can’t fix” He enthusiastically proclaimed. He reminded him of that one self-absorbed rainbow Pegasus from Ponyville. He gently plucked out the shards, covered the wound with alcohol, and wrapped it up. He said on his way out the door “Tell me if it gets worse” and walked out. I limped over to my bed and slept.
I didn't get to much sleep. I woke up several hours later to see the sun arising, shining light throughout the room.
My life has really been in the dumps lately, He left Twilight, hunting season wasn’t until later in the year (Which meant it was hard making money), and my throbbing hoof. Interrupting my sad thoughts was a gentle knocking on my door. I pushed off my covers and limped to the magenta door to see Cadences face. “Hey Neon” She warmly greeted. “My lady” I replied with a bow. she let out a soft giggle with a light blush. "Please, just Cadence. This came in the mail for you” She said while handing me an envelope. “You know, you could have just told me there was mail. And I could have gotten it instead of bothering you” I hastily suggested. “Oh, please it’s nothing” She replied with a smile. Breaking up our little talk I gave the final word “Well thanks”. We said our goodbyes and I closed the door. “Alright let’s see wha…” I stopped and stared with awe at the envelope. “What, the, fuck”.
