Nyx looked up to see her little sister. Her sister was a pegasus. She had a orange coat like her fathers but her mother's straight dark bluish-purple mane and tail with streaks of pink and violet. One of her eyes was blue, the same shade as her father's and the other was purple, the same shade as her mothers. Her flank was still blank. ''Misty! Go bug, mom and dad or even Gusty,'' Misty got up. Her full name was Love In The Mist but everypony just called her Misty. Misty had a unicorn twin sister called Gusty. That when Nyx's sobbing turn into pure crying. ''When we sent you into the everfree, we never should have told Twilight. Then we wouldn't have had the eternal night that YOU created,'' She added more force to the you then she did in 'real'. More tears fell for the poor alicorn. Sliver Spoon came over and said. ''Yeah, If you had just died back then we wouldn't have had that'' The CMC walked over and hit DT in the face. SS was caught of guard by this and ran to help DT. ''Ugh Applebloom!'' ''No ah ain't moving. After what you just told Nyx. Ah ain't moving. Ya hear me,'' DT glared at the apple family member. ''Of course I hear you.Your southern talking apple. I mean apple bucking wood maker! And no im not leaving bratty Nyx'' She pointed towards Applebloom's cutie mark after saying that. ''Mah cutie mark, may be nothing to do with who ah am but that doesn't matter as mah sister loves me still. That's all that matters to me,'' ''Of course it has something to do with who you are. I mean all your family members have apple cutie marks or something related to apples,'' This angered Applebloom. ''So Miss Ah all rich, How would ya feel if ya had the same cutie mark as everypony else,'' Diamond Tiara contiued to glare at Applebloom. ''Oh well and Nyx remember who you are and that it does matter,'' More tears came from Nyx as DT walked away. Applebloom noticed this and helped her friend up saying. ''Don't listen to her. We love ya for who ya are,'' Nyx looked up at Applebloom. ''Really?'' ''Does it look like ah lying cause ah ain't,'' Nyx nodded still depressed about what DT had said. The night of the gala for the freshmen. Nyx stood in her dress that was black with highlights of purple, Her headband was now a purple ribbon. Her wings were neatly folded on her side as she waiting for Shadow. Shadow appeared wearing a black outfit with a purple tie. ''My mare would you care for a stallion to take you in and dance with you?'' Nyx giggled and said. ''Of course I would care,'' She smiled as he took her hoof and took her inside. The music started. Sweetie Belle was up on stage singing some love song. Shadow keep hold of Nyx's hoof as she placed her hoof on his side. They began doing the waltz. Sweetie Belle and the other CMC plus Twist smiled. Diamond Tiara however glared over towards Nyx. Shadow and Nyx finished their dance as Shadow whispered something into Nyx's ear that made some tears fall. ''I love you,'' He said out loud before kissing the tears away. ''I love you too,'' She said as the two kissed. ''Do you wanna go somewhere different, out of the music a bit,'' ''Sure,'' replied the alicorn. He nodded and led her out of the gala and towards his home. When they made it to his home. Shadow kissed Nyx and said. ''Nyx do you wanna do 'it' I mean I have been wanting to do it for a while'' Nyx thought for a moment before kissing him on the lips hinting for a yes. He smiled and they walked into his bedroom and got onto the bed. It was gonna be quite the night.
I'm what and telling Shadow and the CMCA few morning after, Nyx woke up and looked around. She then felt a gust of sickness. She ran to the bathroom where she vomited heavily. It had been happening for a few days in fact since she did 'it' with shadow. She couldn't possibly... Twilight came into the bathroom to see her eldest vomiting. ''Sweetie you should go to the doctors. I'll cancel school for you and take you there,'' Nyx nodded wanting to know. Twilight got spike to send the letter for her to the school then walked Nyx to the doctors. They told the mare at reception that Nyx needed a appointment. They gave Twilight a time and they went to sit down. A doctor yelled. ''Nyx Sparkle!'' Nyx frowned. ''Come on Nyx,'' said Twilight. They walked to where the doctor was waiting for them. He told them to enter which they did quickly. ''Okay Miss Nyx Sparkle. What seems to be the problem?'' asked the stallion. ''Well um for a few morning now, I been waking up and throwing up'' The stallion nodded as he wrote down everything with his magic. ''Okay Nyx. I need you to wee on this strip of paper'' He gave it to which was via magic. She walked down the hall wondering what could be up. She did what she had to do and came back carrying a partly soaked paper. She gave it to the doctor via her magic. After a few seconds, two pink lines appear causing Twilight's eyes to fill with tears. ''Mom why are you crying?'' asked Nyx. ''Be-because. Doctor you tell her'' ''Nyx do you know what this paper is?'' Nyx shook her head and the doctor smiled. ''Well it's a pregnancy test. One line means no and two means yes. Congratulations your pregnant,'' Nyx gasped as her thought came truth. She wanted a foal but not this early. She put a hoof over her mouth but had to force a smile across her face. She and Shadow were gonna be parents and no matter what, she was gonna keep this foal not have an abortion or put it up for adoption. Not because barely anypony would want the offspring of Nightmare Moon, because a foal should know who it's parents are. ''So what you gonna do. Keep it or have a abortion?'' ''I'm gonna keep it,'' Twilight gasped. ''Nyx you sure?'' ''I'm sure mom. All foals should know who their parents are,'' Twilight nodded though not happy that her daughter was gonna have a baby so young. ''Okay. I'll support you through this and I do hope that Shadow does too,'' Nyx smiled and nodded. She would have to tell the father to be soon. They walked home to see that Flash was still there. ''Flash shouldn't you be on guard duty?'' ''No. My duty today is at night so I'll be away tonight and what did the doctors say?'' ''Nyx is pregnant,'' Said Twilight gently. Flash gasped and looked at his daughter-in-law. ''Is this true Nyx?'' ''Yes dad,'' Flash sat there in shock. ''Are you keeping it?'' ''Yes I am,'' Flash took a second to take everything in. He was gonna be a grandfather to a foal of a teenager. ''Is Shadow the father?'' asked the shocked guard. ''Yea, he is,'' ''Go tell him tomorrow because it's the earliest possible for you to tell him before everything goes around ponyville high school,'' Was what Flash said. Nyx nodded. The next day, Nyx walked to school like normal then waited for Shadow who smiled. ''Morning Nyx. Why weren't you in school yesterday?'' He asked after kissing the mare. Nyx looked down and said. ''Well....me and mom went to the doctors...'' She was soon cut off. ''The doctors?! How long to do have to live?'' Nyx tried to calm him down and the moment that he did she continued. ''Well the doctors call me and mom in and I told them that I have been sick for a few days and he told me to pee on this strip of paper and well.....the results came back and I found out that I'm pregnant with your foal,'' Shadow gasped at this but instantly kissed her. ''I'm glad. I know it's early and your gonna have trouble later but I don't care. I love you and I will love the foal all the same,'' Nyx smiled and kissed back. The CMC walked over and smiled. ''Hey Nyx, Shadow what you guys talking about?'' said Scootaloo. ''Well....um I'm pregnant with Shadow's foal'' Said the soon to be alicorn mother. The CMC gasped before hugging nyx. ''We'll be there for your foal, Nyx,'' Nyx smiled happily. This was gonna be good for her but being a mother is hard right?
Royal partyNyx and Shadow sat at the restaurant talking between themselves. ''And that's it. Mama and Papa, me and the twins have to go to this royal party to celebrate the birth of Auntie Candace's fourth filly,'' ''And you say that I can't go?'' ''Not unless your married into the royal family which your not yet but this little one even before you marry me will be part of the family, regardless if she a alicorn or one of the 3 main or even a bat pony or a cross,'' She gently lay a hoof on her belly. '''Okay. Since your 5 months now doesn't that mean we get to find out?'' ''Yep but not till after the party unfortunately,'' ''I know but you have to go. Remember it's your cousin,'' ''I know. After Skyla and Crystal Shield was born, I was a bit uncertain as mama wanted me to be their foalsitter but I soon loved them and offer to foalsit Love Heart when she was born, now Love Shield too. I might foalsit her too or I could get her and the little one could have play dates?'' ''Hey there is something I noticed. Your Aunt Candace only has fillies, no colts doesn't that make your Uncle Shining upset,'' ''Well I don't know many of the details but he was upset when Love turn out to be a filly. Oh well good luck next time I guess for them'' ''Yeah..Don't you have to leave now?'' ''Oh yea'' She got up and kissed him on the lips before trotting back to the Friendship Rainbow Castle. It had only been made a while back so it was still relatively new. She walked inside and along the long corridor to see if her mama was in the main room. Twilight was there sat in a book like normal. ''Mama I'm home'' ''Ah prefect timing. We're leaving soon. Get Misty and Gusty sorted'' ''Okay'' She walked upstairs and saw her little sisters playing with some paper made crowns. ''You two. We're leaving soon. Get your stuff'' ''Okay, Nyx'' Misty ran to her room while Gusty's horn glowed before Nyx had chance to stop her. ''Gust-'' A huge gust of wind erupt around the room destroying it. Twilight ran into the room and immediately cast a spell making the wind stop. Gusty was on the floor now crying due to her mistake. Nyx went over to her little sister and helped her up. ''Come on it was a mistake'' ''R-really?'' ''Yep. You have to gain better control before you start using your unicorn magic'' ''Okay Nyx'' said Gusty before getting up and heading to her's and Misty's room. ''Well she's energetic'' said Twilight watching her daughter go upstairs. ''I guess. When you going to tell them about Banana Cream and Moonlight. I mean they went back to Cantorlot with mama-Luna when papa asked you to marry him'' ''When their older after all Gusty is really Sparkling Moon but lost all connections to her powers causing her to be reborn but with a twin that was the pegasus half of her magic'' ''Yeah...'' ''Don't worry. She's still your sister just in two halves. One pegasus and one unicorn'' ''I guess will there be any way that Sparkling can come back?'' ''Not unless Lulu knows one'' ''This is way I wish I still had those memories but I still glad. Those memories hurt me badly'' ''I know but it's okay'' ''We're ready!'' Came two yells in unison. Twilight and Nyx smiled then the Flash came in and led his family down stairs and towards the train to Cantorlot. Twilight on the way remembered that she was going to see her twin daughters with Luna and made a faint smile that only Nyx caught. They walked inside the marvelous castle in Cantorlot. They went to the throne room where Celestia, Luna and the twin princesses were. The twins smiled happily when they saw their older sister or younger whatever and ran over. ''Nyx!'' ''Hi you two'' ''When you gonna-'' Banana whispered the last bit ''Be our older sister again'' ''Sorry..'' Nyx felt bad about this. She did wanna be Banana and Moonlight's older sister again but the problem about that the twins were Luna's daughters and mom did love Luna but she was drawn between Flash and Luna. ''Come on Nyx it's party time!'' yelled Moonlight. Banana smiled flapping her now longer wings flowing her 'twin'. ''Their still as energetic as ever. You would never believe that Banana came from a horrible home'' Misty looked at Nyx. ''Huh?'' ''Oh Banana had a horrible past before learning she was truly Luna's daughter'' ''Oh..'' ''Come on lets go see our little cousin'' ''Okay!'' Twilight smiled and followed her daughters to the room where the happy family was. Candace and Shining stood next to each other. Next to them was a little pink alicorn with purple wing tips like her mom with a purple and yellow mane and tail that was styled like Sweetie Belle. She had her father's eyes though. Adorn on her flank was a cutie mark of a mixture of stars, sun and moon. Next to her was a white unicorn with her father's hair colors but using Twilight's mane style. And she had purple eyes like her mom. Her flank had a crystal shield on it. And the last filly was a 3 year old who had all three of her mom's mane color and was a alicorn but none of her magic worked so it was better to say she was a pegasus with a horn but not a teasing way. She had a pure white coat with pink wings that ended with purple tips. Her eyes were on blue and one purple. The newborn in Candace's arms was a young unicorn that had a purple mane just like Twilight's. She even had the two streaks of pink and purple in her mane that made her look slightly like Twilight but she had a white coat that faded into pink towards the end of her body and had a purple horn. ''Hi Twilight'' said Candace. ''Hi Candace'' Twilight smiled. ''Is that little Love Shield'' ''Yep. She my little baby but not saying that I don't love these three'' She hug her other fillies as she said that. ''Yep. We love our baby sister!'' Yelled Skyla.
Birth4 months later. Nyx woke up and screamed in pain. Horrible pain causing Twilight to run in. ''Nyx are you alright!?'' ''No the foals. THE FOALS!'' She screamed in pure pain. ''Flash, Nyx's is in labor!'' ''Omg. I will get Shadow. You get her to the hospital'' yelled her husband. ''Right. Come on Nyx'' Nyx panted nodding. She crawled out of bed and walked with her mom downstairs. Her mom told her not to run but to calmly walk. Within 4 minutes were they in the labor room with Nyx panting and crying on a bed. Shadow rushed in and grabbed his girlfriend's hoof. ''It's okay just breath and push'' He tried to calm the teen. ''It's hard Mr Bolt. She still a teenager yet she has twins to deliver'' ''I know. Nyx don't worry'' Nyx nodded trying to smile but the pain getting to her. ''Push. Princess Nyx. Push!'' She pushed with most of her might which wore her right out. Eventually after a good 3 hours, a little filly was born. The filly has a crystal coat that was black like her mom. She had her father's mane color with streaks of blue. The blue bits were starry like Nightmare Moon and Luna which kinda scared Nyx. The filly opened her eyes to look at her mommy to reveal them to be Nightmare Moon's eyes too making her look a lot like Nightmare Moon but with hints of her father. And her wings were bat like. ''What you gonna name her?'' asked Twilight. ''Crystal Moonlight. For her crystal coat and the fact she looks a look like me...and Nightmare Moon...'' The contracts started again catching Nyx off guard. Twilight took the filly from the doctor since her daughter couldn't hold it while she was having her other foal, the colt. Nyx panting and cried, but within half an hour, the colt was born. He was a bat pony, normal bat pony with his father's eye color and coat color but his mother's mane color. Nyx smiled. ''Whats his name, Shadow?'' She asked her boyfriend. ''Night Fang'' ''Cute. I love-'' She couldn't finish it when she felt the contracts start again. ''Why?'' ''I don't know'' said Shadow in shock. Within about ten minutes, a second filly was born. This one was tiny so she was easy to deliver. She was a alicorn that was identical to her mom but with blue flowing starry mane. Despite her total Nightmarish appearance, Nyx felt something. A odd power radiating from the small newborn alicorn. ''What's her name, Princess Nyx'' ''Day Break'' Nyx said smiling. Twilight smiled at her grandchildren who were smiling in their mother's hooves.
5 years laterIt had been 5 years since the triplets birth. Nyx and Shadow had gotten married and moved out but stayed in Ponyville close to their family and friends. Day Break or Dawn as her parents nicknamed her was a special child. She could fly up to perfection at the age of only 3 and she didn't lose her magic like most foals. Instead, her magic surges were her learning how to use her magic and she keep it. Crystal and Fang were not as special but still hold a huge place in their parents hearts. Today was their first day in school. Dawn was looking forward to it as she was a total bookworm but didn't let it get in her way of making friends. Fang hated the idea of school and Crystal wasn't looking forward to it but wasn't annoyed either. They had learned something about Dawn though. She was slightly different to most foals. Her left eye was slightly misaligned to the other but not by much. It was bad and her parents knew she would be teased but Dawn wanted to make friends and would do anything to do that.
First months easy but later no.The first months of Nyx's pregnancy when by quite quickly and she was now on her 4th month and starting to show. She was worried that she be bullied in school for being pregnant at her age. And she was right. DT came over as Nyx grabbed her books for her next lesson from her locker. ''So Evil Nyx. Whats it like being fat?'' Nyx look down at her baby bump. ''I'm...not....f-fat'' ''Yes you are'' smirked Diamond Tiara. ''No I not...'' Said the black alicorn. ''If your not fat....'' grinned DT ''Then your pregnant!'' All the nearby ponies came over and looked between to two. They grinned and cheered DT on. ''It's a pity your so young yet you go and get yourself pregnant. Slut!'' Nyx began crying as Apple Bloom and the Crusaders came over not letting there friend be bullied for her pregnancy. ''Diamond leave Nyx alone'' Yelled Sweetie Belle with Scootaloo as they took their positions with Apple Bloom. ''What it's to you?'' ''Nyx is our friend and she loves the father a load and wants to keep the foal that's her choice!'' Yelled Apple Bloom. ''Oh so who's the father?'' ''I am'' said a voice that made Nyx's tears vanish. ''Shadow....'' She uttered. Shadow smiled and came out and stood between Nyx and Diamond. ''Leave Nyx alone now'' DT growled and walked off. Shadow frowned but smiled down at Nyx and helped her up. ''Your not a slut so don't let her get to you'' Nyx made a slight nod.
How many!?Nyx was sitting in the waiting room of the hospital leaning on Shadow. ''Shadow, what if there's something wrong with the foal. What if...'' ''Don't worry yourself, my little moon'' A blush crossed the mare's cheeks at the nickname. Shadow smiled then a doctor yelled them to come in. They walked into the room. ''Okay Miss Sparkle. You ready to find out'' ''Yes'' ''Good. It's a simple spell for us unicorns so don't worry'' His horn lit up and a black and white blurry picture appeared on a nearby screen. Shadow looked confused. ''What is that'' ''That's your foals'' ''Wait 'foals' as in more then one?'' ''Yep. Your having non-identical twins. Congratulations you two!'' ''Tw-'' ''Ins?'' Shadow finished for Nyx. ''Yep. Do you wanna know the genders'' ''Yes please'' said Nyx. ''Okay. Well I would say. Your having a colt and a filly'' ''Both!'' yelled the two soon-to-be parents in unison happy. ''Yep. Do you have name ideas yet?'' ''Not yet'' ''Well I would make up your minds soon as it's only another 4 months or less since she a alicorn'' ''Wait doctor. What are the pony types'' ''I can't tell just yet but you'll find out at birth'' Shadow smiled and kissed his girlfriend who smiled and kissed back. Nyx spend the night at Shadow's after telling her mom about the twins. They kissed for a second and then Shadow parted. ''What do you wanna name them?'' ''Well. You can name the colt. I will name the filly'' ''Okay. For the colt. I would say Night Break or Shadow Shiver'' ''Cute now for the filly, I would say Day Break or Crystallized Night'' ''Wow so you thinking about if I ends up being a crystal pony like my sister?'' ''Yeah'' ''Cool. But she can be called that either way right?'' ''Yep but right now, Day Break is my favorite'' ''It's cute. I can't wait for them to be born''
