Celestia looked around as she passed through the bar's rather dusty and old doors. Few ponies looked up, gathering the attention of others, then more ponies stared at the princess. Soon, the entire bar was looking at her.
Celestia trotted up to the counter. The bartender looked at her, amazed, but her eyes still looked slightly casual. She put away the glasses she was cleaning, then finally spoke.
"Greetings, princess." The mare bowed, then slowly rose again.
Celestia spoke in a harsh and direct tone. "Cider."
Everypony let out a massive gasp for dramatic effect as the bartender slowly nodded, grabbing a clean glass and filling it with cider. The cider foamed at the top, some of it dripping down the side of the glass, indicating that this type of cider was definitely alcohol. Celestia would no longer go without the infamous alcoholic apple cider that basically all of Equestria loves, except for the embarrassed princess that never tried it, not even a whiff of the addictive beverage, which was her.
"Free for princesses," the mare said, giving the cider to Celestia.
"Thanks," Celestia said, heading over to an empty table.
"Wow..." a stallion whispered.
"Is she really gonna do it?" a mare questioned rather loudly.
"Oh my Celestia! ...Sorry, should I have said that when the princess was in here?" another stallion whispered.
"...I don't know," another mare said in response to the bewildered stallion.
With the entire bar looking at her, Celestia blushed slightly, embarrassed. As she slowly lifted the glass to her mouth and sipped the cider, her eyes went wide. She put down the glass. She had just tasted heaven.
