Chapter One

Warfare was with four of his squad members, Silver Bullet, Bladed Edge, Steady Aim, and Suppressive Fire, moving through the jungle that occupies the Changelings home. Warfare is a dark green stallions with two M16's crossed behind a skull as a cutie mark,with a dark green and a stripe light green mane. Silver is a light blue coat and read mane, cancel sign cutie mark. Bladed Edge is a gun metal grey stallion with a pitch black mane and a knife for a cutie mark. Suppressive Fire is tall stallion with dark orange coat and red mane with a shield for a cutie mark. And for the record everyone mentioned except Suppressive is as tall as Big Macintosh, so Suppressive is roughly about the size of Celestia.

"Keep sharp stallions, we might have some company." Warfare said as twenty-seven changelings ambushed them from two sides.

Silver fired his M16 at the oncoming Changelings, dropping eight of them in record time "And that's what you get for messing with a marine!" oh yeah Silver is insane.

Suppressive tore seventeen Changelings to pieces with his M60 SAW "These are just the scouting party, where's the rest." he said while firing.

Warfare thought for a moment while shooting down the last few Changelings that ran towards them "It's not scouting party, its a trap." he screamed as the first motor touched down eight feet away.

"Get to cover." Bladed yelled as he dove for cover, rest of them followed suit.

"God damn it, that was close." Warfare said over the motors.

"No kidding, next time lets not almost get blown to bits shall we." Steady said with mild annoyance.

"Okay guys, this isn't going to end well after the mortars stop." Warfare said to his team, all them looking at him now  "After the mortars stop, the Changelings are going to scavenge everything they can get from what they think is an army, and kill or capture whoever survives." All them were looking at him mixed horror and awe.

"So what do we do," Suppressive asked "if we stay here, we're worse than dead."

"I'll buy you guys some time, just go and don't turn back, for me." Warfare said solemnly, the rest of the team roared in outrage at their beloved leader would even suggest such a thing "QUITE, I know you guys don't want me to, but it's only way you guys will make it out of this alive."

"But, Warfare, what would do without you." Silver said tears already streaming

Warfare cracked a smile "Wash the dishes."

Everyone got a laugh out of that one, then Suppressive spoke up "It's been a honor sir."

"See you soon, Warfare." Silver said giving him one last hug

"Take as many of those bastards with you." Bladed said with a smile and tears streaming.

"What am I going to do without you, sir." Steady asked, with smile at his own setup.

"Aim straight, and wake up on time." Warfare said solemnly.

"Now Stallions, it's time we depart, remember me with honor and dignity, and take this Changeling bastards all the way down to hell and then you have my permission to date my daughter." Warfare said with smile on his face "But if you make her cry, I will haunt your flank to the grave."

A series of 'Yes sir' could be heard over the pounding mortars shells. And with that Warfare took off into the jungle, running and dodging explosions in process.

As soon as the mortars stopped, just as predicted, hundreds of Changelings stormed through the jungle. But to be stopped be bullet fire.

Warfare was on a role, fifty-three down from his hoof, and still going. He is in a fox hole made from one of the mortars, and soon as the first Changeling showed it's head, a bullet passed through it. Leaving him still undiscovered, then all the Changelings plowed through the shrubbery like a tide. AK fire rained in every direction, one by one they fell. Even after being discovered, he still kept firing, then he got hit in the chest, the his left hind leg.

He kept on fighting, until the worst thing happened. The ground erupted from the mortar that just hit, to the right of the Warfare. Effectively turning half of his body into a burned and bloody mess. He screamed as he went air born, M16 still in his grasp. The wind in his mane blowing the clouds flying by and the- wait what.

Warfare looked around with still usable eye. How the hell did he end up in the sky. Warfare was plummeting to the ground, a bloodied mess, as he was falling he saw a cyan Pegasus flying towards him. And I thought Silver's coat was blue. he thought as his incoming doom was approaching him repeatedly.

Rainbow Dash was just flying around when she saw a pony falling from the sky. "Oh that can't be good" She said as she took off full speed at the falling pony. As she approached the falling pony, she noticed two things that completely horrified her. One, the stallion was probably bigger than Big Mac. Two, half of this guy was torched and bloodied. She felt as if she was going to puke, but she kept her focus on saving this stallion.

She grabbed him, trying to avoid the bloodied half of him as much as possible. "By Celestia's mane, what happened to you." She said as she flew towards Ponyville after she got a good grip.

She saw her friend Applejack towing a empty wagon towards Sweet Apple Acres. "Applejack, we have a serious problem." She said as she flew over to her friend.

"Well what seems to by the- Sweet mother of Celestia, what happened to that there feller your carrying." Applejack said horrified at the sight of a beaten up and bloodied individual.

"I don't know ,and probably won't find out if we don't get him to the hospital." Rainbow said quickly.

"Okay, I'll take him to the hospital, you get Twilight and the girls to meet me their." Applejack said with a worried expression on her face.

"Okay." was all Rainbow said before just dropping him in the wagon, then taking off as fast as she could.

Applejack spent no time in getting a move on, taking off that could match a professional marathon runner. "Hang on,mister, we're almost there." She said as they neared the hospital.

When they arrived, Applejack heaved the fallen soldier onto her back and burst through the doors yelling "Somepony get this stallion some help." And with that, the hospital turned into a frenzy of nurses and doctors running back and forth.

Ten minutes later, Twilight Sparkle, Rarity, Flutter Shy, Pinkie Pie, and Rainbow Dash burst through the door. Twilight immediately ran to the emergency room to aid in healing the stallion, Flutter Shy asked Applejack how the stallion was last time she saw him, Rarity offered to help Applejack with the blood stains on her back, Pinkie Pie just patted Applejack on the back as she puked into the nearest trash can, Rainbow was doing the same with a different trash can.

Twilight had Spike send a letter to the princess say this:

Dear Princess Celestia

Rainbow found a stallion falling from the sky as a bloodied mess, Rainbow's description was crude but still stated that half of the stallion was burned and beaten. He is right now on his was to the hospital and I hope you can explain this problem. Please tell me that this is just some type of freak accident and Equestria isn't  under attack again.
