Chapters Fallout New Vegas....with Ponies
Hello there names Greg Silvers, but you may know me as The Courier. This is the story of a day two women with pastel colored hair came into my life.....glad they did too.
I was doing one last sweep of the little fiend camp outside Freeside. All it was was a bunch of ruined pre-war buildings with hardly any of the original walls left. I thought it would be a piece of cake so I left my T-51b power armor back at the penthouse in The Lucky 38, and was wearing instead a full set of NCR ranger armor a hunting rifle in my hands the worn wooden stock pressed against my shoulder as I approached the encampment just as the moon rose in the Mojave's sky I flipped on my thermal vision on my helmet, and continued on.
The camp wasn't anything special just a group of fiend junkies sitting around a fire using some chems. I scanned the room, and saw two women unconsious, and tied up right next to a man with a welders mask. The man in question was Cook-Cook a canabalistic son of a b**h with a flame thrower he used to cook his victims with. He had quite the bounty on his head so that was a plus just a little something extra to end my days of killing, and looting. You see me and my wife Cass decided to just settle down in New Vegas with me being the new owner (after shooting Mr. House with a 40mm grenade launcher) seemed like a good idea, but this group of fiends killed a NCR water caravan whom one of my friends was a part of so I was gonna kill them.
I was so far unseen, and dropped to one knee before aiming my iron sights at Cook-Cooks head. Just before I pulled the trigger I went to check my pip-boy (my little wrist mounted super computer Doc Mitchel gave me) to see how many raiders I was dealing with, but sided against it so I aimed again, and this time pulled the trigger there was a loud bang then my rifle sent a .308 rifle round straight into the glass visor of his welding helmet. The opaque glass shattering on impact, and the bullet ripping out the other side of his head creating a fine red mist.
Just as soon as Cook met his demise three fiends popped out from behind me the first smacked my rifle out of my hands, the second kicked me in the ribs causing my to fall to the ground (he had a metal boot with studs in the toe), and lastly the third one held a knife to my throat....honestly I was surprised this didn't happen often. "Well well who do we have here a NCR snot that decided to play lone wolf huh....." raider three who happens to be a girl laughed "not very smart of you."
"Well" I said "I'm not exactly playing lone wolf...." before the bandits could reply Rex my cybernetic K-9 tackled the fiend holding the knife, and ripped her throat out in one swift movement. The others scrambled for they're guns, and in that moment of confusion I drew my .44 magnum from my right hip, and fired two shots. Each drilled a new hole in a bandits head.
"Last time I let you run ahead." said my lively wife Cass as she vaulted over a small mound of dirt to my left. She was wearing a set of Van Graff combat armor, and a Stetson, in her hands was a sturdy caravan shotgun the barrels were smoking, and two dead bandits lay at her feet. "I take my eyes off you for two fu**ing minuets, and you nearly get yourself killed....do I need to put you on a leash?"
I cocked my head sideways "Since when did we have a leash?" Cass faceplamed "I was joking, but no need to worry nothing will go wrong from this point onwards!"
One Wasteland Bi**slapping later
Really bad idea to say that especially in the Mojave wasteland...it's just asking to be b**hslapped, and so I was. While I was sitting on my a** the fiends took a moment to draw their guns, and got two men to guard the women on the floor by Cook-Cooks corpse. They opened fire 10mm, and .308 rounds flying in our direction. I grabbed Cass, and Rex, and dove behind a dumpster luckily the bullets didn't seem to penetrate it's steel body. "Okay!" I yelled "Remind me to never say that again!"
"Noted!" Cass shouted back slamming two new shells in her shotgun then slamming it shut. I decided to peek around the corner, and a bullet whizzed bay my head so I jerked it back behind cover I was absolutely pumped I couldn't wait to fill these punks with some .44. I would use my rifle, but it was currently broken on the pavement so I reloaded my magnum, and blind fired three rounds each killing a fiend their screams of pain as they're hearts burst only fuled my desire for blood!
"Oh yeah y'all dead!" I shouted holstering my magnum, and drawing Maria my nickle finished 9mm handgun with a pearl handle. Looted it off the scumbag who shot me in the head a few years back, and it was deadly! I loaded my only four armor piercing rounds, and blew out the brains of the most well armored bandits then loaded my standard ammo.
"Cover me!" I yelled jumping from cover, and entering V.A.T.S, or if you don't know what it is it's a feature on my pip-boy that stops time, and I decide were to shoot, and the wrist mounted super computer does all the shooting for me. I decided to send two shots to each of their chests. I left V.A.T.S , and felt my limbs moving on they're own aiming, and shooting my gun. Each shot met it's mark leaving the bandits dead on the spot all except for the one guarding the hostages....he ran like a little b**h!
"AND DONT COME BACK!" Cass yelled giving me a high five as she shouldered her shotgun, and observed the camp her eyes resting on the partially nude, unconsious women on the floor "Hey honey we got two k-oed!" she told me, but I was already on my way I had set Maria in my holster on the chest of my ranger armor, and was kneeling over the women examining them for wounds. All I saw were some minor cuts, burns (no surprise with Cook-Cook), and some nasty bruises. I also noticed their hair looked odd pink, and rainbow colored hair? Well it's not the weirdest thing I've seen, but still.
I injected them with some Med-ex to try, and avoid waking them due to pain, and pulled out a stimpack. "Okay....this may sting." I said mostly to myself as I injected a needle into each of them, and watched their wounds stitch up almost instantly! "Oh how I love you stimpacks!"
"Are they going to be okay?" Cass asked now at my side.
"Yeah they'll be fine, but I wouldn't want to leave them here yah know?" I said, and my wife nodded "Come on help me get them to New Vegas."
Back at my place
We had just sat the girls down on the guest bed when they began to stir. The rainbow haired one came to first, and saw me (minus my helmet which revealed my long black hair, and my goatee) "Who...who are you.." she croaked.
"Names The Courier...what's yours ma'am?" I asked raising my eyebrow setting my helmet down on a end table.
"I'm...I'm Rainbow Dash....eh used to be the fastest flyer in all of Equestria..." she said sounding broken. I moved closer, and went to place my hand on her shoulder causing her to flinch.
"Well...don't know were this Equestria is, but nice to meet you Rainbow Dash...can I call you Dashie?" I asked, and she nodded. "Who's your friend?" I asked.
"Pink....Pinkie Pie.." she said...these two have weird names. "C...can I have a drink please?" she asked, and I handed her a bottle of purified water. She drank it really fast she probably was withheld water so I didn't stop her "I assume you have more questions?"
"Oh yeah I do, but it can wait you two need rest." I said receiving a 'thank you' as she went back to sleep.
Fallout New Vegas....with Ponies
Chapter 1: Pool Cues and Big Guns
I was sitting at a large dinner table in the penthouse of The Lucky 38 it used to be Mr. Houses off limits room, but was now my home. I was currently sipping from a bottle of wine while Cass had a bottle of whiskey.....how could she drink that stuff it burns like crazy, and it tastes disgusting to say the least....back on topic! We were trying to decide what to do about the two new guests they brought in. Cass was now wearing her usual jacket, and jeans while I was wearing a checkered suit, cowboy hat, and sunglasses (got the suit from the same guy that I got Maria from).
"So it's settled were gonna help the two get home?" I said to Cass who nodded "Well I'd say this might be fun!"
"Really puts a damper on our retirement doesn't it?" Cass asked eyes filled with lost dreams.
"Nah just delays them don't worry" I placed my hands over hers "we will retire relax, settle down just like you wanted just gotta do one last thing okay?" she nodded "good now it's getting late you should get some rest." she didn't need to be told twice...except she grabbed me by the collar of my suit, and dragged me with her to the bedroom which rested behind a set of white curtains up a flight of stairs......meep.
Rainbow Dash layed there in her bed in silence the events of the days she spent with the fiends fresh in her mind, and to think it all started with a strange looking thing she later found out to be called a gun appeared in her, and Pinkies room at Sugar Cube Corner.
They had been dating for a few months now, and a gun appearing from nowhere was not the weirdest thing by far Rainbow had seen, but when she touched it, and woke up in the clutches of Cook-Cook, and his gang.....she just wanted it all to end....., but then this man by the name Courier saved them....she finally had hope, hope that they would make it home, and escape this Mojave Wasteland once, and for all! She looked over at her mare friends face she looked like she was having another nightmare so Rainbow kissed her on the forehead, and watched a smile appear on her sleeping face that made Rainbow smile. Wearyness finally took over, and she drifted off into sleep.
The Following Morning
I had been up for hours while everyone else (besides Rex) slept. I was in my NCR rangers armor fully geared up, but I wasn't going hunting, or killing some raiders I was first gonna buy a new rifle, and second get some gear for these girls I picked up the other day. I just found my .357 revolver it was sitting under my bed of all places! I slipped it on my left hip, my .44 on my right, Maria was on my chest holster, and a broad machetes handle peeked out from behind my duster. I whistled, and Rex scampered over his tail wagging "Okay boy I'm going into town....you wanna go?" I asked answered when he walked up to my side. I nodded, and made my way to Mick and Ralph's.
I was browsing the secret items in Micks section of the store looking for a new rifle my eyes set apon a large scoped gun that looked like it would send a behemoth running "Hey Mick what's this?" I asked Mick a youngish, but white haired man in a green checkered shirt.
"Ah that beauty is a Anti Material Rifle AMR for short. Fires a 50mg round, and will rip apart anything in your sights....just watch the recoil it will knock you down if your not aiming down sights....learned that the hard way." Mick replied rubbing his backside.
"I'll take it...what's the price?" I asked raising an eyebrow as I pulled out my caps.
"Normally it's 3,950 caps, but for you I'll give it to you at 1,567 along with free ammo." said Mick, and I handed him the requested amount, and he handed me the rifle, and 75 rounds worth of magazines. I was practicaly drooling good thing I was wearing my helmet cause that would be embarrasing.
I also bought two 10mm pistols, and some ammo for them for the girls. Then I went to Ralph he ran the produce, and clothing side of the store he had a head of brown hair, and a red checkered shirt. "I need two sets of reinforced leather armor....female brand got two girls I saved from some fiends, and they had only some rags." I handed him some caps, and he handed me the armor which I slung over my shoulder "Thanks guys see you later....and get a new crier for crying out loud....he's annoying as f**k!" I called Rex over from the guns section, and made our way back to the Lucky 38.
About halfway there a black guy tried to rush me with a.....pool cue? Really are the junkies in this town that stupid? Anyway I took my AMR off my shoulder, and slammed in a mag then aimed the scope at the junkie, and pulled the trigger. The 50mg round slammed into the man, and tore him apart! His torso literally got reduced to a bunch of gore on the sidewalk, and I was on the sidewalk....he wasn't lying the recoil was a b***h! I aimed, but it still knocked me over....this is gonna take some getting used to.
Back in Rainbow and Pinkies Room in The Presidential Suite!
Pinkie woke up a little while ago in her bed, and was a little scared/ confused that is until Rainbow cleared things up, and then Cass came down, and brought food. "You two look like you haven't eaten in days." she said setting two plates of Blam Co. Mac and cheese, and two bottles of purified water in front if the technicolor haired girls. Pinkie was not her usual jumpy, happy self, but sad, and worrisome. The reason behind this was simple. Pinkie mearly asked to be friends with the fiends, and throw them a party (this was before the kidnapped them btw) as a result they 'used' her more, and she got the worst treatment....it broke her.
Rainbow was unsure how to cheer her mare friend up, and was about to do one of her stupid ideas when I walked in carrying the new gear. "So...who wants first pick?" I asked flashing a grin under my helmet, but neither of the girls looked happy in the slightest This is going to be a long day....
Several hours Later
I was taking Pinkie, and Rainbow out to the strip for the day to hopefully brighten they're mood...if ever so slightly. I was wearing my suit again as well as my authority glasses, but no cowboy hat. "So girls how you liking the armor?" I asked them, but all I got was a shrug from the both of them...A Long Day Indeed...
The Wasteland must hate me because as I showed them around Freeside a small group of men with makeshift weapons, and one riot shotgun showed up blocking our path right by the fort used by The Followers of The Apocolypse. "Can I help you?" I asked.
"Yeah" one of them said "your corpse can old man!"
"Oi I'm only thirty four! I'm not old!" I said drawing Maria from my holster on my right hip, and entering V.A.T.S blowing off his, and Mr. Riot Shotguns heads off clean...well actually they exploded into gore, but that's besides the point. Next I reached into my suit jacket, and drew my .44 magnum, and I blew off another mans knees before clubbing the last one to death.
Only after I had reloaded, and holstered my guns did I approach the man I blew off his knees "So mister why'd you think you could kill the courier?" I asked the crippled man whom was swearing so much Littlepip would have washed his mouth out with soap....and that's saying something. I looked him dead in the eyes when he didn't answer "Tell me, and I might let you go?"
"Fine...fine okay you got me....The Legion wanted guys you wouldn't recognize so they hired us...to ambush you...I'm so so sorry mister please don't kill me!" said the man clearly broken I just rolled my eyes.
"They'd think the man who killed they're leader with a freaking teddy bear launcher could be beaten by some scrubs...no offence. With pool cues, kitchen knives, and a single shotgun? Man are they stupid." I exclaimed looking back at Rainbow Dash who now looked at me as if I was a nuclear bomb she wanted clear of...I was carrying a mini nuke but still! "Hey what's wrong Dash?" I asked her.
"Did...did you really do those...things you said?" she asked, and I nodded "How...how could you just go and kill an innocent man like...." I cut her off by holding up a finger.
"Caesar wasn't innocent. He was a slaver, a murderer, got one of my friends wife killed, and not to mention nearly killed my best pal! So no I don't regret it hell I'd do it again if I could just to see him squirm, but I'm no monster Dash understand that." I finished looking down at the man then stabbing him with a stimpack closing his wounds. The man then got up, and ran away screaming about something...I couldn't tell. When I looked back to Rainbow she was taking a sudden interest in the road "Hey Rainbow what's wrong?" I asked raising an eyebrow.
"It's just....killing is just so easy for you...I don't hate you for freeing us, and this Caesar...I don't hate you either, but I'm...worried." she answered honestly a bit scared (doesn't sound like Dash.....man what did those fiends do...wait I'm the author only I know!)
"Hey don't worry...I may have only met you two yesterday, but I know something is eating you two up....not sure why, but I feel your out of character...if only a bit." I enclined.
"Well we were kidnapped, beaten, and....I'm not comfortable discussing what...things they did, but it's defiantly taken it's toll on us..." said Rainbow Dash, and I'll admit I felt sorry for them,..noone should have to have that happen to them.
"I know just what to cheer you two up" I said "Let's hit Vegas!"

Chapter 3: PERKS EVERYWHERE!
The group, and I were in the penthouse gathering supplies for our trip. They said they lived in someplace called Equestria....were everyone is a pony. I really think they're loosing it. I just zipped up the last pack, and helped Pinkie put it on. I was expecting her to struggle a bit like Rainbow whom was hardly even able to stand after putting her bag on, but nope Pinkie seemed to carry it as if it weren't even there.....either she's really strong, or she's really good at faking ease...I'm going with the first one.
"All right girls" I was wearing my T-51b power armor now, and my anti-material rifle was disassembled still, and now residing in my pack for I was now holding my old laser rifle. It was a little beat up, but I thought it just made it look all the more awesome "ready to head out? Or do you girls wanna check out Vegas more?"
"The sooner we get home the better." said Rainbow still straining under the packs weight "um can I get a lighter pack please?" she fell over onto her back shortly after finishing her sentence. I sighed, and helped her to her feet, and removed her pack lightening the load, and them handing it back to her. "Thanks.."
"No problem" I said putting the equipment, and loading it into my pack. "Okay Veronica you set?" I asked my ex-brotherhood companion who was sitting on a couch in the room tinkering with something.
"Oh yeah just waiting for your cue to leave." she said getting up "Let's go boys and girls!" she grabbed her displacement glove off the couch and slipped it on flexing her fingers then walking over to the elvator.
"But I need to hit the penthouse first...I have a surprise for you two." I said pointing to Pinkie, and Rainbow who looked between themselves apprehensively "Relax it's not that kind of surprise it's actualy a gift, and I know your gonna love it!"
When we got to the penthouse I made a bee-line for the main computer. It was humongous, but we weren't here to see that no there was now a table with a large white cloth covering it, and two small bulges could be seen in the cloth. "Go ahead girls take off the cloth." I said gesturing with my hand to the table.
They approached the table a bit warily at first, but they did unveil their little gifts. Sitting on the table were two Pip-boy 3000's glove included. Their jaws dropped "What....what are these?" asked Rainbow Dash picking one up, and examining it.
"That my dear Dashie is a Pip-boy 3000 wrist mounted super computer, map, and vitals checker. It has a Heads Up Display, a radar, and a V.A.T.S feature." I answered "Just clasp it on then slide on the glove."
Rainbow did just that, but yelped "It just bit me!" she said glaring at it.
"No it just connected itself to your nervous system." I corrected."It injected a needle into your arm, and is currently integrating itself to better assist you. The skin under the Pip-boy will be itchy for a while, but that'll pass."
Pinkie was the next to pick hers up, and place it on. Cringing when the needle dug into her skin, but she held on. Then slipping on the glove she saw the screen light up as did Dash's. The screen read their names right below the picture of vault boy. They were level one, tend their title was 'Equestrian Hero'. "It's actually pretty cool." commented Rainbow "Hey what are perks? My Pip-boy says something about perks."
I cleared my throat "Perks are basically little upgrades you can obtain by 'leveling up'. Basically when leveling up the Pip-boy will target a part of your brain, and make you better at a certain skill. Every even number level you can select a perk. They are like skills only a thousand times as effective. Take my bloody mess perk for example. Occasionally when I kill someone they will expload into gore." I tought them "Just turn that little knob, and take a look at your perks."
First I took a look at Rainbows perks. She had some perks I've never seen before. The first was a perk labeled 'Academy Training' it read Your time in the Wonderbolts academy has really toughened you up. Adds 20% to sneak, unarmed, speech, and barter. Also add 2 too agility, charisma, and endurance. The next one was called '20% cooler' it read Due to your awesome personality all speech based, and attack based stats are now better by 20% Lastly 'Element of Loyalty' it read Being the element of loyalty you no longer can harm those in your party. "Nice perk setup. Now to yours Pinkie"
Her first perk was 'Wild Wasteland' I don't believe I need to explain that one. The second was called 'Inner Demons' it read Due to your mental state being slightly shattered you have a 5% chance in combat for your alter ego 'Pinkamenia' to rear her ugly head adding 25 to melee weapons skill Wow....creepy. Anyway the last one was called 'Pinkie senses' it read Due to your Pinkie sense you can never be snuck up on. Maximizes perception. "Good setup as well....though inner demons is quite scary."
"Sorry....." Pinkie sad drooping her head.
"Hey lighten up you didn't pick yours like I did. Besides it's only a 5% chance." I reassured her getting a smile.
"Thanks Greggie." she said "That helps....a lot." she turned the knob back to the vital screen. "Now should we head out, or do you have more to show us?"
"Well we would have a stop before this, but I think we can pass it up....TO ADVENTURE!" I yelled dashing to the elevator as fast as I could wearing power armor Veronica close behind, and the girls jogging over.
In The Wastes Rainbows POV
I've only seen the wasteland for a few moments back before I was captured, and I must say....it looked like shit. The sidewalks were cracked, and dusty. The air was hazy, and the sky was a greenish grey, with a bit of blue here, and there. Even though most if the water was pure a whole lot of it was irradiated. Why couldn't the universe have dropped us off at happy fun land? Well at least it was warm it was the middle of winter back in Equestria, and it was annoying to have to sit by the fire for several hours straight trying to get warm every time I get home. "This place looks sad." I commented.
"Yeah nuclear warfare does that to places." said Greg though it sounded muffled, and slightly robotic from behind his power armor. "It's been 200 years and the world has just started to heal."
Once night fell we took shelter in a abomdoned shack, and lit a fire outside. Greg was cooking a spit of meat (despite saying we were vegetarian to which his response was "Tough") I'll admit as a pony the smell of cooking meat was disgusting, but my new form found it's smell appetizing. After a while I agreed to at least try it. Pinkie was content on eating some chocolate cakes. The box labeled them as 'Fancy Lads Snack Cakes'.
When the meat was done Greg handed me the spit saying "I don't eat much." I asked him why, but he didn't answer. I took a bite out of the meat....it was delicious. Pretty soon I had finished the spit, and was laying beside my marefriend watching the stars. "I'm going to see what I can scavenge from the shack be right back." he said, but my eyes were heavy and soon I was fast asleep.
I was only asleep for a few minuets only to awake with a machete held to my throat. I yelped only for my mouth to be clamped shut by a gloved hand. The man hoisted me to my feet, and tossed me to the unconsious forms of Veronica, and Pinkie. On the ground I got a good look at my new captors. They were wearing strange helmets with a metal plume on the top, but their faces were exposed. Their armor was only a red cloth like substance with some pads on it. One guy had a flag pole attached to his back on the flag was a red bull. One of them had an assault rifle he approached us and said "You'll be coming with us. You are slaves now so get used to following orders!" he pointed his gun at me, and his buddy with the flag whom was wielding a 10mm pistol grabbed me by the arm, and pulled me up. It hurt, and he obviously didn't care for my well being.
He locked a pair of chain cuffs, and a collar of sorts on me as well as my friends. I was looking around trying to get a glimps of Greg, but saw nothing. Despair seeped into me. I was captured again, and Greg wasn't here to bust me out! They had taken my pistol so I was unarmed. Veronica seemed to specialize in unarmed combat, but she was out cold so that wasn't going to help. We were duped.
My POV The Shack
At the very sight of those legion fucks my blood boiled. If it wasn't for my stealth boy I'd've been seen by now not that it would be a problem....if I was going solo that is, but they had my friends, and that alone was enough to make me angry.....I drew my .44 magnum and whispered under my breath "For you my little girl...." I walked out of the shack still cloaked watching them take my allies away. I aimed at the man with the assault rifle, and eased the trigger. The gun kicked back followed by a loud bang, then the man exploded into gore God I love bloody mess . Before they could react Veronica's eyes shot open. She'd been faking it the whole time. She grabbed the rifle from the ground, and slammed the butt of the gun in the machete wielders face the followed by pumping him with lead.
I walked up to the man with the pistol he had dropped it "Please....don't hurt me! I have a family!" he pleaded he was young probably had just been recruited.
"So did my little girl but your men didn't care back then now did they...." I grabbed the machete from the ground "now I'm just repaying you fucks....one at a time." I slashed the mans throat, and continued to hack at the body until Rainbow pulled me back. I was still fuming with rage until Rainbow, and Pinkie gave me a hug....I don't get many of those.
"Please....please calm down." pleaded Pinkie, and my gaze softened. I dropped the blade, and got to work removing their collars, and bindings when that was done we looted, and disposed of the legionaries, and then Pinkie asked me a question. "You said you had a little girl before.....what happened to her?"
I cringed and she flinched. I let out a sigh "I suppose I should tell someone.....gather around group this is a rather long tale..."
My POV A Few Years Ago
I kicked a legate straight through the wall of a house in Nipton. I had returned here on the task on finishing up the legion. I tracked this guy here. Him and his group had slaughtered the newly repopulated township....again, and I was teaching him a lesson. He scrambled for his knife, but I punched his ribcage open, and he fell limp. I shook the worst of the gore off my hand, and wiped the rest on my ranger armor's jeans. I was grabbing a fancy looking gun from his corpse when I heard crying coming from the cabinet across the room. I pocketed the gun, and approached "Hello?" I asked softly causing the crying to stop "Hey I'm here to help...I'm a friend."
"Where is my daddy?" she asked a little choked up I flinched a bit not wanting her to know what had come to be of the inhabitants of the town...but she had a right to know.
"The legion killed him....he's dead." I answered, and the girl inside the cabinet began to sob again. My heart bled for the little girl I wanted no needed to help her so I picked the lock on the cabinet. Inside was a little Caucasian girl her brown hair was messy, and her eyes bloodshot from crying. She was wearing a grimy old pre-war dress, and and equally grimy sock hat.
I did what I thought was right, and gave her a hug. She accepted it, and wept into my shoulder. As night fell I took her away from that god forsaken town. I later learned her name was Sarah, and we traveled for many years.
Three Years Later
Sarah, and I were sitting in front of a campfire in the middle of the wastes listening to 'I don't want to set the world on fire' over my Pip-boy. It was her favorite song, and it was her thirteenth birthday so why not. "So wanna see what I got you for your birthday Sarah?" I asked her.
"Yes yes yes yes!" she said clapping her hands. I dug into my bag, and pulled out a small suit of combat armor I had made for her. She smiled as I helped her put it on. When I did she said "Now I look even cooler!". Her armor was a set of miniature, dark red combat armor with the letters 21 printed on the right breast of the armor. I ruffled her head shifting her sock hat, but she just straightened it back on. She gave me a big hug "Thank you so much!".
Later that night
I awoke with a pounding headache in what looked to be a small arena. I tried to stand only to find myself tied to a pole "Whoever this is I think you should know I'm not into bondage!" I shouted looking around trying to spot Sarah, but seeing no trace except her sock hat which was laying on the arena floor. "WHO EVER YOU ARE IF YOU HARMED A HAIR ON MY LITTLE GIRLS HEAD I WILL END YOU!" I shouted into the air. I heard the arena doors open, and turned to look. I saw a bunch of legionaries dragging a unconscious, and partially nude Sarah....oh no they didn't if they did what I thought they did they were in for a world of pain! The tossed her to the ground in front of me.
"This is just a message for all who oppose the legion." he said drawing a 9mm handgun from his belt. I was preying he would aim at me anyone, but my girl....but no such luck. He blew her brains out right in front of me....everything went red, and next thing I know I'm sobbing over her corpse soaked in blood. I buried her in Goodsprings's cemetery, and pledged myself to killing every last fucking Leigonare left in the wasteland of the U.S.A!
Present Time my POV
"No you know......" I said picking myself up, and walking over to my sleeping bag, curling up, and crying myself to sleep.
Fallout New Vegas....with Ponies
Me, and my new crew walked into The Tops casino I know nothing about gambling, but what's the point? I own Vegas for crying out loud, but I needed to cheer these two up....quickly. "I'm gonna have to pat you two down...security purposes." said one of the employes at the door.
"No need they're with me." I said, and lead the girls to the exchange corner, and gave them each fifty caps. "Give these to the man for chips, and have some fun down at the casino area. I'll be in Westside if you need me."
"Where's Westside?" Pinkie asked....wow she finally talked!
"Here I'll show you" I then handed her a map of Vegas, and the surrounding area "If anyone tries to cause trouble point your guns at them...if they're smart they'll turn and run if not....pull the trigger back." I told her she nodded, and walked off with Rainbow. As I walked away I thought Its a start...
Pinkies POV
Rainbow, and I were at the exchange station getting they're chips. I thought it might be...fun to maybe gamble, explore you know the usual....but I couldn't even bring myself to smile....what those....things did to me couldn't be removed by any amount of booze, poker chips, or hugs....only time could mend those wounds. Back on topic! We just put up our fifty caps when we heard noise outside, and a man in what looked like a metal bug style of armor walked in with five guys to each side of him each wearing the same armor as him, and wielding fancy looking guns with some green tubes sticking out of them. "Attention citizens!" yelled the man "I come with news....The Enclave are now in The Mojave! And soon you will all be....." he was cut off when one of the workers in the casino shouted at him.
"Get out you bum!" yelled the casino worker who then chuckled to himself. The bug armor men made a growling sound, and stomped out of the casino. RD, and I finally could get to gambling. I decided to try Blackjack, and I won back five times my original caps! I'll admit this was fun, and it wasn't helping largely...but it was a start. I was scooping up my latest winnings when I heard my stomach growl.
"Dashie wanna get something to eat?" I asked my rainbow maned mare friend.
"Sure" she said getting up from the blackjack table, and grabbing her remaining twenty chips, and I grabbed my several hundred, and followed.
New Vegas Clinic The Couriers POV
"So Doc you think you can squeeze in one of my friends for a quick therapy session?" I asked Dr. Usanagi at the New Vegas medical clinic outside New Vegas. I lied about going to Westside, but it was important the pink one (Pinkie is her name I think) obviously has some mental problems, and she is obviously traumatized....I just know okay! You would to after getting shot in the head...twice....in a row..it tends to knock a few screws loose.
"I don't see why not....that strength implant doing you good?" Usanagi asked as she scribbled Pinkies appointment down. "I'd like to know if it's not working, or malfunctioning."
"It's doing just fine...better actually." I answered "Something buggered up with the programming, but somehow it made me even stronger! I can nearly punch clean through tesla armor now!" I was thrilled when the implant messed up...in a good way. Not sure how it happened maybe the over use of Pshycos last year? Who knows.
"Well that's new.....can I have a look at it sometime? I'd like to see if I can replicate it's seemingly upgraded state, and use it to...in theory...allow the permenately crippled to move once again!" Usanagi asked me eyes gleaming with excitement. Now she had just recently started thinking she could solve the recent increase I'm perma-cripples using strength implants....only hers aren't strong enough.
"Sure....as long as you don't sell them willy nilly....hate to imagine of those Enclave wannabes got their hands on them,.." I shivered at the thought. These men acclaiming to be enclave were actualy just some guys trying to use the Enclave name to get what they want,,.,were they dangerous...yes....were they a threat to me? Possibly. Were they very bright. Extremely. Was I worried...F**K NO!
"Why would I do that? Do I look stupid?" she asked, and I mearly shook my head to say 'No' "Good now I'll see you shortly after your friends appointment to check out your augmentation...sound good?"
"Yep...see you later then," I said spinning on my heels and walking out tugging my duster as it was a little loose. I grabbed this thing form my home before heading to Doctor Usanagi it's casual, and protective...I liked it. On the back was the symbol of the old world. A big star in a circle of smaller stars signifying the old world (I'm saying that a lot aren't I?). Got it from a now dead courier named Ullesys back when I was working for Mr. House...before I blew him up with a 40mm grenade of course, and took Vegas for myself.
It had a bunch of pouches, and containers on the armored chest peice as well, and I've been keeping it in great condition. I didn't usually use the things I found or used in The Divide....to many bad memories, but I was putting it behind me....more or less. As an example I now had my unique .357 Lucky on my hip, and my hunting shotgun on my back. My spiked knuckles were adorning my fists, and my disassembled AMR was stored in various places on my person. I grabbed my pack from the ground by the door, and swung it onto my shoulder checking the floor for anything that may have fallen out...nothing did so I adorned my pack, and walked away my pack making a 'clink' noise with each step.
Vegas Strip Pinkies POV
Oh....my....sweet...CELESTIA! I loved Party-Time Mentats they were candy....THAT MADE YOU SMART, AND FUN! Sure the man at the counter said they were highly addicting I was disregarded his warning, and downed a whole tin! A decission I regretted later, but loved at the time. I was just as jumpy as I usually was, and the look on Dashies face....made me smile! She looked so happy that I was happy so it's like double happy, but really it was because my happy....was I rambling? Anyway back to the story. We were just sitting on a bench out on the strip eating some Fancy Lad Snack cakes, and talking. The PTM was wearing off, and I was feeling sluggish, and a little depressed again. I was about to take another when a hand snatched them away. I looked up about to get angry, but I saw the man whom I was told to call The Courier chuck the tin away.
"Didn't your mother ever tell you 'Don't do drugs unless it's to save your life?'" he said obviously glaring from behind his sunglasses. I also took note of his new outfit. A duster with an armored chest lined with pouches, and containers. "Were did you get those anyway? I thought I banned them in Vegas."
"A man in The Tops gave me them....said I looked down, and those would help." I said "What's the big deal anyway?" As soon as I said that I could feel the anger coming off him.
"What's....the..big deal....THE BIG DEAL IS IVE SEEN FRIENDS NEARLY DIE JUST SO THEY COULD GET ANOTHER DOSE OF THOSE DEMON PILLS THEY CALLED PARTY TIME MENTATS.......I don't want to see that....ever....ever again.." he finished his anger gone now replaced by a deep sadness I've only came across a few times....it wasn't a fun thing that's for sure.
My POV
I hadn't thought about Carren in a while. She was more commonly known as The Lone Wanderer, but back in her Vault due to her obsession with twinkles the other kids called her Carren Von Twinkie. It stuck, and now that's what she goes by. I guess I surprised the memory so far back I forgot, but now it was back....
Flashback My POV
There I was 10 years younger, and still drop dead handsome. I was wearing a set of T-51b power armor a scoped laser rifle, with a dual beam splitter rested in my armored hands as a young girl aroun 19 tried to pick a lock to a door behind me. "Any luck with the door?" I asked my friend checking my Pip-boy for hostiles. We were in some random building in the middle of the Capital Wasteland trying to get into it's basement.
"Nah it's too stuborn.....maybe another PTM will help." said the girl I knew as Carren reaching into her bag. She was wearing a armored vault 101 jumpsuit, a 10mm SMG rested on her hip.
"Carren you really shouldn't be using so many....you know how bad they are in high dosage, and your first hasn't even worn off yet!" I answered seeing no hostiles on my map, and turning to face my blonde haired companion.
"It'll be fine I haven't died from them yet have I?" said my buddy "And if I did Dogmeat will probably just hunt down whoever sold them to me....he's loyal like that." she said scencerely scratching her canine companion Dogmeat behind the ears receaiving a lot of tail wagging.
"Yet is the big word here" I said "when your not on the things you can't even count past two! How will you cope when you run out?" I asked her, and she just looked at the floor. "As I thought you didn't think this through." I walked up to her "You can quit now just throw them down that hallway, and don't go to retrieve them....trust me it's hard but worth it in the long run." I used to have been addicted to Pshycos a while back, but I eventually got help, and quit....good thing too because one more Pshyco so close to the other like I'd been doing would've killed me!
She breathed in as she grabbed the colorful tin of pills. She looked at it her arm shaking slightly as she drew her arm back, but she couldn't do it she popped it open and downed half the tin before I smacked it out of her hand. "What the heck man!" She said reaching for them only for me to stop her. She took this as a provocation drawing her 10mm SMG, and unloading a mag into my armored chest achieving minimal damage, and drawing her Chinese officers sword, and rushing me. Dogmeat stayed back....for once....that's new. I just lashed out with my fist striking her arm holding the sword hearing a crack, and watching the blade fall to the ground as she clutched her arm screaming on pain.
"You didn't have to do that you know" I told her "you just had to chuck the tin." she looked up tears in her eyes. Then slumped over this made Dogmeat very protective not letting me near her to check if she was ok, but I had a tranquilizer so I subdued him, and approached my unconsious friend.
After checking her I concurred that the PTMs were causing a sort of shut down of the brain, and this made me panic. I was rummaging through my pack like a mad man busting out chems, and other medical supplies hoping to save her.....luckily I had just what I needed,.....
Present day My POV
I had been relaying them my flashback, and Pinkie looked horrified looking down at a lone pill on the concrete, and chucking it away. "Thanks for the warming Greggie." she said Phase one complete!
