My Story Of Screwball

Twilight woke up during the middle of the night from crying, loud crying. She jolted up and looked around confused at the noise when her purple eyes landed on the crying pink earth baby in the basket. Everything from the day before came back to her and she slowly got off the bed and picked up the basket and carried it downstairs with her magic.

She gently put the basket down on her kitchen table and went to the stove. She made a bottle appear and slowly filled it with chocolate and milk since she didn't want the child to turn it to chocolate milk again. She stirred it and then headed it to Screwball who instantly latched herself onto the nip and drinking the chocolate milk.

Twilight smiled but frowned at the thought that this might well be Discord's daughter. Screwball was young small and young, how could it be possible? is what she thought through. After Screwball finished, Twilight noticed that she was still crying and went down to the diaper that she had put on. It was wet so plugging her nose with a nose peg made by magic, she changed it.

Screwball noticed this and smiled happily. Twilight smiled briefly before turning her attension to taking the baby back upstairs. Her horn  light with purple light and the baby's basket floated into the air holding the same glow of light as Twilight slowly walked up the stairs, it followed her. She placed the basket next to Spike's. Spike was in deep sleep so didn't notice.

Twilight smiled and looked down at Screwball who was now sucking on her hoof cutely. Screwball soon yawned taking her hoof out of her mouth before putting it back in and falling to sleep. Twilight smiled and went into her own bed and followed swiftly.

Twilight woke up and looked over to Screwball smiling. Spike's bed was empty meaning he was making breakfast or cleaning the library up. Screwball's unnatural eyes opened slightly to reveal the swirls. She began sucking her hoof as if to say 'feed me! I'm hungry'. Twilight smiled and got up picking the filly up this time instead of the basket since there really was no need.

Twilight's thought was right. The library was sparkling clean and Spike was in the kitchen making breakfast. He turned around and other a little 'morning'

''Morning Spike. Can you make some chocolate milk too?'' Spike looked at her confused.

''Chocolate milk? After the incident with Discord?'' Screwball who was waiting for her milk heard the word Discord and became confused.

''I know Spike but this one loves it'' Looking down at a now giggling Screwball. Spike signed and did so along with Twilight's daisy and daffodil sandwich. Once he finished, he carried them over. Twilight smiled.

''Thanks Spike'' She levitated to bottle as she feed it to Screwball. She ate her sandwich with some more magic. Screwball was delighting sucking on the bottle's nip to get the milk. Twilight finished and looked at Screwball who was ready for a burp. She smiled and picked the child up and burped her.

Spike washed up and asked Twilight.

''Twi. What you gonna do today with her?''

''Take her to meet our friends do you wanna come too?''

''Yeah I will come''

''Okay but first i need you to go ask Mrs cake if she has any baby carries spare''

''Oh it sister''

Spike left and Twilight smiled looking at the little baby who cooed at her probably thinking that Twilight was her mommy now. Twilight frowned at the thought but she would look after the child.

''Okay Screwy I'll be your mommy for the time being'' She didn't know how long it would be for but this child need somepony to look after her. Spike ran in carrying a double baby carrying.

''She didn't have a single''

''It's okay Spike I could just put you in there''

''No! Ain't happening!''

''You sound like Apple Jack'' But she smiled and Spike hoped on her back as she slowly placed Screwball into the baby carrier that was now settled on her back. The unicorn trotted out of the home.

Twilight walked down the street to sugar cube corner. Pinkie Pie was bouncing around inside running around looking after the store while Mrs Cake had to stay in bed and Mr Cake had to many delivers. Twilight smiled and went over.

''How Mrs Cake Pinkie?''

''Oh she's fine. The foal is annoying her and what's that'' She asked catching slight of the pink, purple and white filly.

''Oh this is Screwball''

''Who's the father?'' Said Pinkie jumping to the conclusion that Screwball was Twilight's.

''She..isn't mine Pinkie. I think she's Discords....'' Pinkie gasped.

''How?!''

''I don't know..'' Pinkie nodded.

''You going to tell the others?''

''Yes I am wanna come?''

''I can't. To much to do'' Twilight nodded and walked out smiling. Next up was sweet apple acres.

Twilight made it to see both Rainbow Dash and Apple Jack there.

''Morning girls!'' She said walking over. They looked at her and smiled.

''Morning Twilight. Wait what's that?'' Seeing Screwball.

''Oh her she's screwball..I think she's Discord's daughter..'' The elements of honesty and loyalty gasped.

''Really?''

''I don't know for sure but her eyes and she has show some powers when she an earth pony'' She picked the filly up with her magic and showed the two. They nodded.

''What you gonna do with her?''

''Probably raise her as if she was mine then no pony would know other then you guys''

''Okay''

''Bye I'm going to Rarity's then Fluttershy's now'' They waved as she walked off carrying Screwball.

Twilight walked up the path to the Rarity's boutique. Rarity was wearing a pair of red glasses and sewing something. She saw Twilight and smiled.

''Twilight darling good morning''

''Morning Rarity''

''What are you doing here?''

''I want you to introduce you to....'' She lifted up the little baby and showed Rarity who was dumbfounded ''Her''

''Wait. Wait! Who's the father?!''

''Um I'm not her mom and I think that she is Discord's daughter...'' Rarity gasped. Fluttershy who wanted a dress came walking in to see Rarity looking at Twilight in shock.

''Um am I interrupting anything...''

''No your not Flutters'' Said Rarity.

''And who's this adorable baby?'' She ran over to Screwball.

''She's Screwball...I think she's Discord's daughter....'' Fluttershy stayed quiet but her face said that she was in shock. She eventually talked.

''But how?''

''I do not know but I'm gonna look after her as if she's mine'' Fluttershy nodded and so did Rarity who had finally came out of shock.

''Okay Twilight. It's your idea so I'm not gonna stop you'' Said Rarity.

''Thanks guys..''
