On a moonlit night in mid august, Anton was playing on his laptop in his apartment playing his favorite game, SCP Containment Breach. He was so close to the end that he could nearly taste victory, however, what happened next did nothing but confuse the young gamer.
After the credits rolled and the game finished, a message popped up on screen, one sentence that said "Help us" with two option buttons: Yes and No.
Being the gamer he was he thought he had unlocked a secret level and hit yes. Suddenly his screen began to glow so bright it was blinding to the young man and after the bright light had faded, Anton was no longer in his own apartment, let alone his own world…
After the bright flashing lights faded the young man crashed to the ground in a clearing in a forest. Unbeknownst to him, the forest was not without its dangers as well.
Anton gets up and trying to look for a way out of the forest, wondering where he is. “Wow, that was... weird. Wonder how close I am to civilization...” He starts walking, heading South unintentionally.
The young man walked, stepped over roots, and ducked under vines that hang from the trees surrounding him. Eventually he found a old tree with a door with a odd looking mask above it. Anton steps closer to the door, reaching for the mask. He takes it down and looks at its inside, where a face would go.
“Put down that mask, only once will I ask.” A feminine voice ordered from behind him.
“Uh, sure.” Anton places the mask back above the door and turns around. “Where am I?”
“You are in the Everfree forest my dear, why would you enter this place of fear?”
“Because I just ended up here. I was at home playing a game and now I’m here.” Anton tries to get a better look at the shadowed figure. “Who are you?”
“Zecora is what I am called, and how exactly was it to this place you were pulled?”
“Uh, as I said, I was playing a game. Then I clicked on the “Yes” button, and then some crazy lights went off and I’m here.”
“Strange you would be sent here with a simple yes, surely you jest.” She said as she stepped from the shadows, now fully in view, Anton was a little surprised. “Yeah, I don’t know why I’m here, but I am. And... what are you, anyway?”
“Zebras is what many call my race, and I hail from a land far away, a very arid place.”
She said walking past Anton, opening the door to her hut.not even looking giving Anton a second look.
Anton was a bit surprised. Zebras don’t talk… Deciding that she was at least nice, Anton followed her into the tree. “So... Aside from ‘the Everfree Forest’ where am I? Like, the continent.”
“The land of Equestria, ruled by princesses Luna and Celestia.” She said as Anton plopped down on one of the Zebras tiny stools.
“Alright, so you said this place is dangerous. Where should I go from here?”
“Ponyville should be your destination. It is a place of peace and relaxation.”
“Ponyville...? Strange name. So how do I get there from your house?”
“Follow the road straight and true, and after a while the town shall be right in front of you.”
“Uh, thanks. I guess I’ll be leaving then.” Anton got up, walking to the door.
“Be careful out there, if you stray too long, you may encounter worse than a bear.”
“Uh, thanks...” Anton heads out the door and, upon finding the trail, walks along it, thinking about what this Ponyville place would be like. As he followed the path to town, Anton couldn’t help but feel that something was stalking him.
Deciding to heed the zebra’s... rather melodic words, he started running faster, hoping to outpace his pursuer. As he ran, the feeling subsided as he could see light at the end of the path, breaking through the thick trees. Not stopping, he kept on moving, though at a slower pace, thinking about what he might see.
As he fled the forest he could see a small cottage in the distance and a small road leading off to the left with a sign that said Ponyville. Deciding that he was going the right way, he kept on moving down the path, on his way to the town.
As he walked towards the town, he saw a few ponies, all staring at him along the way, one even did a double take.
“Guess that’s why it’s called Ponyville. Jeez, what the heck happened? They must have done some crazy tests. This has to be the work of science gone wrong.” He continues along his way, growing curious as to why there weren’t any people around. Just a bunch of pastel-colored, tiny horses. after a few more minutes of walking he began to see some buildings and more of the brightly colored inhabitants.
Just as he took his first step into town he saw a lavender unicorn with wings. Assuming the ponies were some sort of freak of nature, but at least sentient, He tried talking to it.
“Hello... My. Name. Is. An-ton. Who. Are. You?” Anton said, gesturing to himself and the pony as the winged unicorn turned around
“I’m Twilight spar...kle, what in Equestria are you?!” She asked in shock at Anton’s appearance, his T-shirt, jeans and shoes covering this fleshy looking bipedal creature that stood in front of her.
“Oh thank goodness you speak. I’m Anton.
“What is an Ant-on?” She asked in confusion as
“My name. It’s German”
“Don’t you mean Germane? And I have never seen anything like you before, maybe a monkey of some sort. How did you learn to speak? How did you get here, how-”
“I’m human. I started speaking when I was three. My first word was “Go” if it’s important. I don’t know how I got here, and I’d rather leave.”
“Oh, well maybe the others can help, for now though let’s go to the library, maybe there’s some sort of spell to get you back home.”
“Yeah, or a detox ward.”
“A what?” She stopped for a moment confused by Anton’s suggestion.
“Nevermind, I suppose we can just do whatever we can to-” Anton was then cut off by the appearance of a pink pony from nowhere
“Omigoshwhatsyournameimpinkiepie,wheredidyoucomefromwhatsyourshoesizenevermindthatcanwait.” She inhaled deeply and began to speak again.
Anton leaps back in surprise. “Holy shit! Where the hell did you come from!?”
“Well when two ponies love eachother very much they…”
“Do the horizontal tango and the chick shits out a baby, yeah, I know.”
“That was… I don’t even know how to respond to you two.” Twilight Sparkle said as she face hoofed.
”I don’t even know how I got here, so send me back.”
“Alright then, lets just go to the library before I get a migraine.” Twilight said as she just turn towards the library, or at least thats where Anton thinks hes going.
