Equestria, a land fill with ponies and really peaceful or so they say. For the past couple of years, there many monsters, demons, aliens, robots, you name it they had it. But there was also somepony to protect it. They are well know heroes though out Equestria. They are the Pony Rangers. A group of Ponies that call abound powers to become heroes of Equestria. There been over 20 team of rangers, few of them was from another team line, some give up their old powers and gain new ones, but there was one team that started it all. The Element Pony Rangers, they are a group of six mares that was call on Princess Celestia to stop an threat call Nightmare Moon. The members are Rainbow Dash the Red Element Ranger, Fluttershy the Yellow Element Ranger, both are pegasi, Applejack the Blue Element Ranger, Pinkie the Pink Element Ranger, both are earth ponies, Rarity the Black Element Ranger and Twilight the White Element Ranger, one a unicorn and the other a former Unicorn and now an Alicorn. This is a story of how the Pony Rangers meet and help the Power Ponies.
Spike was really happy. He was the first in line to buy the next Power Ponies Comic.It was his favorite comic and it easily remind him of his friends. Spike was ready and can't wait to read it.
"Well, well, if it Spike." said a blue pony with a black mane and tail with a comic book as his cutie mark.
"Hey Com, I'm here for the newest Power Ponies comic!" Spike said as he pull out the bits.
Com grab it and turn to Spike.
"Here you go. It been so awesome that you live through it." He said and hand to him.
"Thanks!" Spike said and ran home as fast as he can.
Spike got back to Twilight's and ran inside. He crash into Twilight and her friends and the land in a pile.
"Spike?!" Twilight said.
"What the rush, Spike?" Applejack ask.
"Sorry, I got the new comic of Power Ponies today and can't wait to read." Spike said as the group got off each other.
"Power Ponies?" Rarity ask.
"Yeah, they are a group of Ponies that have Superpowers and fight off the evil Mane-iac." Spike explain.
"You really like that comics do you." Rainbow ask with a smirk.
"Yeah! After all they are my favorite Heroes, next to the Pony Rangers of course." Spike said and quickly added.
"So what the new comic about?" Pinkie ask.
"Well, from what I heard, it about the Mane-iac teaming up with a new villain that too much for the Power Ponies and they get a new ally as well. Can't wait to read it!" Spike said before grabbing his comic and jump in his chair and start to read it.
"Huh?" Spike said flipping through the pages.
"What wrong Spike?" Twilight ask as they step up to him.
"The Pages are blank." He said and show them.
"Why were somepony give you a blank comic book?" Rainbow ask.
Spike shrug and got up.
"Maybe Com gave me the wrong one. I'l see if I can get a new one." Spike said and started to walk pass them.
As Spike did, each of the Elements that the Mane Six had started to glow before the comic glow as well.
"WHAT IN TARNATION!!!" Applejack shouted as wind blew around the room.
Everypony grab hold of something to stop themselves from getting blow away. Spike drop his comic and it open to the first page. No pony could see it as the words, Now that the Power Ponies was in trouble an group of new heroes arrive to help them. The six mares was soon cover in their main colors as they were pull inside the book, Spike along with them. The Comic close and an new title appear. The Power Ponies and The Pony Rangers.
Spike open his eyes and look around. He knew this wasn't Ponyville, but a place he knew too well.
"Is this... Maretropolis?" Spike ask before hearing a groan.
He turn and saw Twilight and the other stand up.
"What happen?" Twilight ask.
"And where are we?" Fluttershy ask.
"We're in Maretropolis, home of the Power Ponies." Spike said.
"Say what now?" Applejack ask confuse.
"Something odd had happen. We better contact Princess Celestia." Twilight said and took out her element.
Before she could contact her, a loud explosion got their attention. They all ran toward the sound and was surprise to see a blue earth pony with green and red eyes, wearing a purple and gold suit with a crazy green mane and Tail and it look like she was walking with them.
"Who?" Twilight ask.
"Mane-iac!" Spike shouted knowing who it was.
"That Mane-iac? What even happen to her mane?" Rarity ask.
"Well, You see, She was the power-mad owner of a hair-care product company. A tragic accident at her shampoo factory in Maretropolis not only gave her mane strange new powers, but also caused her to go completely insane!" Spike explain.
"Insane? How in the do hocking does shampoo make a pony going insane?!" Applejack ask not understanding one bit.
"Well..."Spike started to say before another voice spoke over them.
"Hold it right there Mane-iac!"
They all turn and saw six ponies that look like them only cover in suit that show them to be heroes.
"Holy new personas! It the Power Ponies!. That's Masked Matter-Horn! Fili-Second! Zapp! R-Radiance! Mistress Mare-velous! Saddle Rager!" Spike shouted surprise to see his favorite heroes.
The other looks at them before hearing more.
"Well, well, if it isn't the Power Ponies. Come to stop me again?!" Mane-iac ask laughing.
"You know very well we will stop you no matter what!" The Pony name Zapp said.
"Don't think we never saw the signs of you returning." The Pony name Radiance added.
"You time is up Mane-iac!" The Pony name Fili-Second said.
"And we are taking you down!" The Pony name Saddle Rager and started to get angry.
"Ok everypony..."The Pony name Masked Matter-horn started to say.
"Time to Power Pony up!" The Pony name Mistress Mare-velous finish.
The Power Ponies charge at Mane-iac and she lash out her mane at them. Fili-Second use her speed to easily dodge the attack as the other duck and up over. Masked Matter-Horn ready a spell and fire a blue blue that the Mane-iac duck under and the wall behind her was frozen. She was surprise when a purple towel warp around her. She turn and saw Radiance smiling. Mane-iac use her mane to break free and growl at them.
"ENOUGH!" She shouted and lash her mane out, striking all the Power Ponies.
They shook their heads before the notices a pink could cover them. They then discover that Mane-iac just use her Hairspray Ray of Doom on them stopping them from move and using their powers.
"HAHAHA! You won't be able to from that! This Hairspray is different then my old one." She laugh.
"What different about this one? We can't move or use our powers but it will wear off." Masked Matter-horn ask.
"Oh, it will, in 24 hours!" Mane-iac laugh.
The Mane Six watch and knew that this was going to get bad.
"We stand by long enough. We got to help them." Rainbow said.
"Ok, Rangers time to show Mane-iac that the Power Ponies are not the only team she has to be worry about." Twilight said as the rest nods.
Spike jump on Twilight back and they ump off the build the build they were on and land softly on the ground. The Mane-iac was still laughing.
"Hold it right there Mane-iac!" Twilight shouted.
Mane-iac stop laughing when she thought she heard Mask Matter-horn spoke before realize that it was came from behind her.
The Power Ponies was just as surprise.
Zapp turn to Masked Matter-Horn and ask, "Did you say that?"
"No, I would if we could move but that sounded like it came...from..behind...Mane-iac." She answer then trail off.
Mane-iac turn around and was surprise to six pones that look just like the Power Ponies only without the suits. She look at them a bit more and laugh.
"Oh whatever shell I do. I facing a group of normal ponies." Mane-iac laugh.
"Don't judge a book by it cover Mane-iac." Twilight said as they ready themselves to attack.
"Heh, funny. Minions get them." Mane-iac order and her minion-ponies show up.
"You girls got this right?" Spike ask jumping off from behind.
"Yeah, get somewhere safe for now Spike." Twilight said and Spike ran off.
The rangers turn back to Mane-iac before Rainbow chuckle.
"What so funny?" Mane-iac ask not knowing why they weren't scare.
"Oh, it just that this is the first time we are fighting real ponies. I mean we had fought Putty Ponies, Chaos Putties, Dark Crystal Ponies, Changelings, the list go on. But real Ponies? That a first." Rainbow explain.
Mane-iac and the Power Ponies was confuse on what Rainbow said, but Mane-iac snap out of it.
"ATTACK!" She order.
The Minion ponies charge and the rangers charge back. Rainbow Dash threw a jump kick that knock one of the minions back and block another before kicking it down. Applejack duck under a punch and low sweep the minion before bucking behind her to knock two more down. Fluttershy block one Minion attack and punch him away and back kick another that charge at her. Rarity flip backwards for a few seconds with some minions chasing her before doing a jump kick that knock them back. Pinkie punch one minion down and kick another. Twilight dodge a minion punch and hit him back before kicking another.
Because they were normal ponies, the rangers had no trouble taking them down. The Power Ponies was surprise to see how the six mares took down Mane-iac Minions by fighting hoof-to-hoof.
"Just who are you?!" Mane-iac ask seeing that these were no normal ponies.
"The six of us a team that have save Equestria many time. We had handle many threats. As a team we are unstoppable, but as friends, we're unbeatable." Rainbow said.
"Now our question. What time is it?" Twilight ask as all six smile.
Spike heard that question and smile as well. He then heard a voice next to him.
"Why would they ask that?" It said sounding like him.
Spike turn and saw Hum Drum. He smile again and said, "You'll see."
"Time? Time?!", Mane-iac ask then laugh, "It time for you doom!"
The Power Ponies was confuse on the question but watch as the six mares stood in their back hooves and place one hoof behind them.
"IT MORPHIN' TIME!" Twilight shouted as they all pull out their Elements.
"GENEROSITY!"
"LAUGHTER!"
"HONESTY!"
"KINDNESS!"
"LOYALTY!"
"MAGIC!"
Mane-iac and the Power Ponies watch as the six mares become six colorful armor mares and stare at them in shock. In Spike and Hum Drum hiding place, Spike smile as Hum Drum mouth drop.
"Holy new personas!" He said.
"Now Mane-iac got two teams of heroes to deal with." Spike said know that it was going to be awesome.
"Who are you?!" Mane-iac ask now scare of what is was seeing.
The six smile under their helmets and answer her.
"With the Element of Generosity, Element Pony Ranger, Black!" Rarity said.
"With the Element of Laughter, Element Pony Ranger, Pink!" Pinkie said.
"With the Element of Honesty, Element Pony Ranger, Blue!" Applejack said.
"With the Element of Kindness, Element Pony Ranger, Yellow!" Fluttershy said.
"With the Element of Loyalty, Element Pony Ranger, Red!" Rainbow said.
"With the Element of Magic, Element Pony Ranger, White!" Twilight said.
"In the name of Harmony! We protect the weak and insure the peace! We are the Element Pony Rangers!" They shouted.
The Power Ponies look at them in shock. They never seen anything like this. The Rangers stood ready as Mane-iac finally snap out of it.
"I don't care what you call yourselves, you will not stop me!" Mane-iac shouted and shot her mane at them.
The Rangers flip out of the way and charge at her each throwing an attack. The Mane-iac never fought these ponies before and could don't much it stop them. Rainbow and Fluttershy flew and land double punch. Applejack and Pinkie ran up and threw a double kick that knock her back. Rarity and Twilight ran up as well and one punch and kick that knock her down.
"GRRR! You are becoming pest!" Mane-iac shouted and pull out her Hairspray of Doom and spray them.
Mane-iac stood up and laugh seeing that the rangers was frozen. Hum Drum was shock to see what happen but Spike smile. He knew that Twilight and the other wasn't effect because their suits cover them completely. He stood still waiting for the surprise. He place a claw on Hum Drum to insure him that everything was ok.
"Yes, Yes!, YES!!!" I beat them, whoever they are! No pony can stop me!!!" Mane-iac said the laugh like crazy still holding her Hairspray of Doom.
"NOW!" A voice shouted and an dragger flew thought the air and hit the can releasing the some spray on the Mane-iac.
"What?!" She shouted as she was frozen from the same attack.
She turn to see the Element Rangers move form their spot surprising everypony.
"HOW?!" Mane-iac ask.
"We are completely cover. You hairspray has no effect if it can't frozen them. Truth to be told, you are the easiest opponent we ever fought. We didn't use our fully power." Rainbow explain.
"Like you said, it wear off, in 24 hours." Twilight said as Fluttershy pick up her Element Dragger.
The Mane-iac laugh as she try to move. Twilight cast a spell on the Power Ponies allowing them to move.
"Ok, like the Mane-iac ask, who are you?!" Zapp said.
"They are the Element Pony Rangers." Spike said as he and Hum Drum step out of their hiding place.
"Am I seeing double? Two Hum Drums?!" Radiance said.
"We'll explain everything Darling, we promise. But first to make sure that Mane-iac is lock away for good. After all, we are more use to fighting monsters, not super villains." Rarity said.
The Power Ponies where even more confuse but decide that Mane-iac was best to behind bars again.
High above the them, a black shadow of a pony watch them.
"So, more heroes. Hm? This might be more fun then I thought." It said and disappear.
