Emerald Wind had her life saved by Big Mac, and was offered a chance to start life again in Ponyville. When she is asked to take part in Ponyville's delegation to the Equestria Games, she sees it as a chance to finally earn acceptance in her adoptive town.

This story happens during the Equestria Games episode, and though it's a sequel of my previous story The Other Route, it doesn't requires reading the previous one.
