Hello! I am Chebiro. I am a kid who has just finished middle school and is about to go on a crazy adventure. I'm that kid in school who has nearly no friends, that kid with a sweatshirt who is always looking at the ground when he's walking and almost never partakes in a class discussion. This is a story all about how my life got flipped, and turned upside down, and I'd like for you to just listen to this wacky story how I went into the world of Equestria, with my closest friends.
I was walking out of my last class of the day, with quite a large grin on my face, as everyone else. Not only was that the last class of the day, it was the last class of the year! School was officially over and we were free for the summer! When I looked over to where my locker was, just like every time I try to get my things out of it, all of the people with lockers next to mine were already there and blocking my way to my locker. My locker was in the bottom row and in the middle so every day I had to wait on the other side of the hall, where there was no lockers, and wait for the crowd to clear. While I was waiting I was thinking about what was going to happen this summer and my huge smile grew even larger, if possible. This summer me and a few of my friends were going on a special trip to...
"Hey, Chebiro!" I hear from my right. I look over to see Keth, my "best friend"... actually lets not use those words, because it sound like I'm immature or something a 2nd grader would say so I'll use a word that make me seem a little more mature. So lets say close frinds.
"What?" I ask, my smile faded a small amount as I turned to talk to him. Keth is that extreemley immature kid that no one really likes to talk to. He doesn't really carea about it though, he actually accepts that title and is proud to be the weird kid of the grade. We met in Kindergarten and we were instantly "best friends". He has been pretty immature all his life, in elementary school it was kind of expected for kids to be goofy and at some times idiotic, but when we hit middle school it didn't go away, and I was kind of stuck with him since. But we have a lot in common like a lot of the games that we play and type of shows that we watch.
"Herp Derp." He said with a creepy face and then started walking down the hallway as if he hadn't even talked to me in the first place. That is exactly what I'm talking about. I swear he's going to affend someone some day by saying that. Even if I tell him to stop saying stupid stuff like that, he won't and I guess I'm not going to be able to stop him.
Finally my locker was clear. I strolled over to it and spun the lock back, forth then back again, landing on the combonation that I subliminaly knew. I didn't need to even need to look at the lock to know that I had the combonation right and I opened it up. I packed up my stuff, shoving it into my backpack in no necessary order, and walked to the end of the hallway, this is where all two of my friends stood, merely because all of the other areas were taken, but we don't really care. Keth and Janessa were laughing about something, but by the time I had finally reached them, the laughter had stopped.
Janessa is a little more complex to explain that Keth. Janessa is a huge fangirl, she even has that fangirl scream too, the one that you know about so I don't have to explain it. She has black hair, and is quite short for her age, she makes fun of herself for it, and occationaly me and Keth joke about it too. She is an absolutely fantastic artist, you wouldn't beleive how well she can draw something if you ask her to. Normally she just draws on her notebooks or on a stray peice of paper, and also tries to avoid from people seeing what she draws (other than me and Keth.) for some reason.
"Chebiro are you ready for London?" Janessa asked. Oh! Right, Keth stopped me while I was talking earlier. So this summer, we are going to London! The three of us signed up (as a group) to go to London for the summer to see how different life is outside of America. Me and Janessa really wanted to do this just to get away from our country, we always are making fun of our country, even though we depend on it every day of our lives.
"Hell yeah!" I Exlaimed. "This is going to be the absolute best summer ever!"
"Yeah... uh when are we leaving again?" Keth asked. Me and Janessa rolled our eyes in unison, we have heard him ask that question so many times that I was on the verge of going insane, which isn't normal for me, because I've become very... "mentally stable" lets call it for humors sake.
"Yes." Both me and Janessa replied at the same time. I normally answer "yes" when I am done with a conversation, if I'm not able to answer the question, or if I want to annoy someone else. Normally Janessa doesn't answer something like that, but it was funny anyway to see Keth's annoyed look.
After a few days of preperations and a seemingly endless flight over the Atlantic Ocean We had finally reached London. We got off of the plane and stood by a convayer belt that had been spitting out suitcasses and bags of all sorts. I swear one of the things that had come out was a rock covered in rainbow wool. I mean really? Who takes a rock onto a plane? HOW DID IT GET BY SECURITY? I don't even know anyomore, considering the things that I have seen, that's normal. Finally our bags shot out of it and we headed out of the airport and into the world of London. For transportation, we had rented bikes with the money the school gaves us for our necessities, food, water and transportation. Before we got onto the rode, Me and Janessa had to remind Keth that the rodes were "backwards" (I say that in quotes, because since we're Americans the rode is backwards to us, but in a lot of the rest of the world, driving on the left side is normal). We set off and I looked around to see different architecture than I normally see in America. We reached our flat (yay the first time I actually get to use the word flat ^.^) and set our stuff down in the middle room. After we were all set we decided that for the first day we should ride around that part of the city on our bikes, just to get familiar with it. After a while, as we rode past a allyway however, I heard Janessa yell,
"STOP!" Me and Keth both stopped and turned around to see why she told us to stop. "What is that in the ally?" She asked us. I got off of my bike and parked it on the wall of a building that was adjesnt to the ally. I walked into the allyway, with Keth and Janessa behind me and there was what looked like a VERY old mirror. Like from the 1800s. The mirror was as tall as I was and had a piece in the middle missing, like it was a puzzle, but in the empty hole, there was nothing. It was pure black, not even the wood was there it just look liked it emptied into an abyss.
"Look theres the piece of it." Keth pointed out. I looked on the ground next to the mirror and there was a piece congruent to the hole in the mirror. Janessa grabbed it and looked at it for a moment, inspecting it to make sure the was nothing super peculiar about it. She made a confused look and put it into the empty slot in the mirror. It fit into the hole perfectly. We glanced at each other, then suddenly, the shape around the broken piece started to glow yellow and flicker quickly, when it finally stopped, it had been like the mirror wasn't even broken in the first place. I was amazed. It was like some sort of magic.
"Whoa." We all said in astonishment. I cautiosly reached my hand out to the mirror, where it had been broken, shaking as it was extended. When my hand had made contact with the mirror, my fingers started to dissapear into it. I felt a horrible chill flow from my arm to my shoulder all the way down my back.
"AH!" I screamed, quickly withdrawing my hand, breathing heavily. "Did you see that?"
"Y-yeah." Janessa said with pure fear her face. She was breathing heavy as well. There was a short silence as we were trying to comprehend what was happening.
"D-do you think they're is s-something on the other side?" Keth asked.
"Well... there is only one way to find out." I said.
"KETH! IN! NOW!" Janessa yelled, her fear had completely dissapeared off of her face.
"I don't want to go in first!" He said back.
"If I go in, than you guys follow me." I said to them. "Deal?"
"Okay." They both said. Slowly again I reached my hand onto the mirror, and like last time it started to slip through again. I felt that similar spine tingaling chill flow through my body. As my elbow had dulved itself into the mirror, I looked back at my friends who were watching me dissapear into a random mirror in the middle of London (nothing wrong with that sentance at all), truthfully I was absolutly terrified, the thought of absolutley anything being on the other side of that mirror was very scary. As my body was halfway through the mirror I again looked at my friends one last time, before I fell push the rest of the way into it.
Everything was dark, It was as if I had my eyes closed in a pitch black room, there was complete blackness. Suddenly a giant rush hit my body as fast as a summer's day turning into a hailstorm. My body suddenly flew downward, losing my breath as I did as well as a light appearing from below me, growing brighter and brighter the farther I fell. Finally hitting the light I felt my body stop for a split second. Then again I started to fall at a slower speed. I hit the hard ground, It hurt like hell, keeping my eyes closed I felt a warm sun shine on my. I opened my eyes, instantly feeling my eyes burn from the sudden amount of light that I had seen. I quickly squinted my eyes as far as I could without closing them completely. I heard a thump hit the ground next to me, assuming that it was Ketha and Janessa. My eyes eventually had adjusted to the light so I was actually able to see. Everything was very colorful and vibrant. I heard a groan come from the direction where the thumps had occured as well. I looked over and froze.
What I saw was a pony. Not a normal horse, a pony from MLP. She had a coat of black fur, that reached from the tip of her head to her legs, with an exception of her snout being white. She had a mane that fell to one side of her face, all the way to the top of her neck. It was a deep shade of purple, and completely covered her right eye. Her tail was almost as tall as she was, and nearly touched the ground. She had eyes I had never seen before, they wern't like her human eyes. They were a bright shade of sky blue, which really stood out from the rest of her body. Probebly most importand of all, she had a horn.
I looked next to her to see another figure that was also a pony. Obviously it was Keth. He had a bright orange coat with a short mane that fell, honestly all over the top of his head. It was a very bright yellowish color. To be fair, it was pretty hard to look at him and not squint, because of how bright his fur was. He also had something weird about him though. He had wings.
Then I looked down at myself, I observed my own body. I had a grey coat of fur that covered my entire body. I smiled, I had my usual sweatshirt on me, with the word KING on the front of it. It felt a little weird however, because it only covered the front half of my body. I looked back at my tail an noticed that it had multiple colors and went from a moroon red color from the back of it, to a golden yellow color in the most front part.
I looked back at Janessa who had been doing the same thing as I was, looking around and trying to figure out what had been happening.
"Janessa?" I said aloud.
"What" (Keth)
