The inflated Twilight

At the Golden Oak Library, Twilighht was all alone ther. Spike however was out with Rarity helping her with gem hunting, while Rainbow, who recently moved into the Golden Oak Library and Twilights marefriend, was out on weather duty. Twilight was downstairs getting ready to test a new spell. Since becoming an alicorn, Twilight got to use more magic then ever. today she was going to use an inflation spell.

According to What Twilight new about the inflation spell, It allows the caster to inflate objects and such, but she guessed that it doesn't do anything to ponies, This spell was kinda hard to ponies who never casted it. Twilight saw Pinkie inflate balloons. But she wanted to try this spell out.

In front of her were not inflated balloons. She was going to inflate them. I hope the spell works, what can possibly go wrong? Twilight quietly said to herself while hoping she didn't just jinx herself. As she began to focus, she charged her horn. She let it charge to the full amount she need. At that moment, She began to lean down, but ended up Tripping. At that moment, the spell then started to bounce off the walls, and then hit Twilight who was knocked out after falling.

At that moment, Twilights body started to inflate like a balloon, her body became round, her hoofs were being lifted off the ground, and  her head began to be pulled a little bit in. Twilight was going to scream when she wakes up

Inflated forever?

"Equestria to Twilight? Come on my precious alicorn wake up."

At that moment Twilights eyes began to open and saw Rainbow in front of her.. She was curious, Rainbow wasn't supposed to be home until noon. "I thought you were at work?" Twilight said curiously.

Rainbow then smirked. "Says the one that has been eating all day."

Twilight looked at Rainbow angerly. "DO I LOOK FAT TO YOU?!"

"You may want to look in a mirror.... or better yet, create a mirror."

Twilight looked at Rainbow funny. It seemed like she was pulling a joke. But she had to see what Rainbow met. As she tried to move, she realized her hoofs weren't touching the ground. She thought she was flying but she felt her wings were folded. She then decided to create a mirror with her magic. As she created the mirror, she looked in the mirror and she gasped at what she saw. Her body was round and inflated like a balloon. It was like she was a balloon for a hot air balloon. At this point Twilight screamed for her life. "THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING!" she screamed.

At that moment, Twilight looked at Rainbow Dash. Rainbow knew that look. She wanted her to write a letter to Celestia for help. Rainbow got a quill and began to write the letter. After a while, she gave it to spike and he send it to Celestia. After it was sent, Rainbow walked to her inflated marefriend and looked at her. "What were you doing that caused this?" Rainbow asked trying to surpass a joke.

"Do you remember before you went to work that I said I was going to test the Inflation spell?"

"Yeah?"

"It backfired. I don't know what it does to ponies. "

Rainbow then went to the book Twilight had out that had the inflation spell in it and began to read. As she read she began to read the part about what it does to ponies. As she read it her eyes widen. "What the....." she said in surprise. "Uh Twi, according to the book it says "if it hits a pony or the caster, it will Inflate their bodies with magic air. However it will not make em pop like balloons." Looks like my marefriend and future wife didn't pay attention when reading."

"Okay I'll confess, I skimmed through the spell. But can you see if there is a counter spell?"

"Don't worry. I will look. Since I love you and will die with you if anything ever happens to you, I'll look."

Rainbow began to look at the counter spell and she was shocked. "Uh Twi, according to what it says, it say it takes 4-8 months for it to be ready, due to it being casted on a living thing." Rainbow informed

"You know how to help a alicorn out Rainbow." said a familiar voice

Rainbow looked and saw princess Celestia and bowed. Twilight tried to, but was in capable of doing so. Celestia looked at Twilight with a grief look. She felt bad for her formal student. "Twilight, you realize you're filled with magic air right now, right?" Celestia asked

"Magic what now?"

Rainbow then butted in. "Magic air Twi. I read the book, it says that the inflation spell inflates objects, and/or ponies with magic air. Meaning it's like the air we breathe, but the magic type."

Celestia nodded. "Rainbow is right Twilight, but you may need the counter spell."

"Are you able to cast it Princess?" Twilight asked

"Sadly, it takes time. The magic air needs 4-8 months to be in the body until it can be properly taken, when the months pass, The counter spell should work. But as of right now, you are stuck as a pony balloon."

This made Twilight scared.. She can't be stuck like this. How would she get around? She kept thinking this was a nightmare, but turned out, it wasn't. Despite being inflated, she couldn't get outside on her own. Rainbow then looked at Celestia. "How would my marefriend get outside and get around places?" Rainbow asked

"I reccomend, when she is outside, you use this."

Celestia then pulled out of her saddle bag a strange thing. It had 4 cuffs that are for hoofs, which were connected to a saddle like vest. "This will allow you to help Twilight get outside, when she is outside, she'll be floatting in the air like a balloon, only when the leash is connected. If she inside, I recommend she bounce to where she needs to get to."

Twilight then butted in.""But how would i go to the bathroom? or better yet, eat?"

"For the bathroom part, I'll send something that you'll be wearing for that, it's kinda like a diaper, but something for this. As for eatting, I suggest Rainbow to help you out, since it will be slightly hard to levitate food. I suggest Rainbow to live here for the time being."

Rainbow looked at Celestia,  and facehoofed. "Princess, did you forget, I moved in with Twilight in march of this year."

Celestia couldn't believe she forgotten about that. She now remembered when Twilight was visiting Celestia, she said that Rainbow moved in the library. After explaining everything, she tthen left. Leading twilight to look at Rainbow. She had a tear in her eye. When Rainbow told Celestia what she said to Twi, and with more detail, Twilights heart skipped beats. "R-Rainbow, you-you really mean... that you will help me?" Twilight asked emotionally.

Rainbow looked at Twilight with the love face Twilight always adored. "Yes Twi, I really love you way too much. I can't abadon you at a time like this, you need my help."

At this moment, Twilight used her magic, bought Rainbow close to her and hugged her, which made Twilights body tickle due to the magic air in it and due to Rainbow being pushed into it. Twilight then Starting bouncing happily. "Thankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyou Rainbow. You are the best marefriend ever." Twilight said Quickly.

"Ugh...your welcome Twi, can you please stop hugging me right now, I'm being crushed into your inflated body."

Twilight then let go of Rainbow and Rainbow went to the ground trying to catch her breath. As she was catching her breath, Twilight began to blush. "I guess I got carried away." Twilight said while blushing.

"Looks like you did Twily blimp."

Twilight began to blush. As she did, she felt her lips get dry. She then asked Rainbow to get something to drink, and Rainbow did. As she came back, she then flew to Twilights face and put the tip of the glass by Twilights lips and she began to drink. As she finished her drink, she realized something. Her friends don't know what happened. She knew Applejack is stern to liars. Fluttershy would be scared for Twilight, Rarity, to Twilight and what she knew about her, would act like a drama queen and faint, and Pinkie.... to Twilight, she would act like Pinkie Pie. "R-Rainbow, about our friends." Twilight said shakily.

"Relax Twi, I had Spike go tell the girls to come over to the library ASAP. besides, they need to know."

At that moment, they both heard gasps. Twilight bounced to turn to the direction of the door, and Rainbow went to Twilight's side. As Twilight predicted, Rarity fainted. Why does she always have to act like a total drama queen? Twilight though to her self.

Fluttershy walked up to Twilight. "Twilight are you okay? Why is your body all inflated like a balloon... If you don't mind me asking?"

Rainbow looked at them with a look of feeling sorry. "Girls...." Rainbow then sighed. She knew this is tough. "Twilight was testing the inflation spell, it horribly backfired, and inflated her with magic air."

"Well what are ya waiting for, an invitation? call Celestia!" Applejack demanded

"We did, but.... According to the spell book, Twilight is stuck like this for 4-8 months. Reason, we can't use the counter spell yet. If we did use it early, it will cost Twilights life. The best thing we can do right now, is support Twilight through this."

The 4 felt bad for Twilight. being an inflated pony, that had to be a strange thing. They never thought this would happen. Fluttershy walked up to Twilight. "Twilight, how would you be getting around town?" Fluttershy asked sheepishly.

"Rainbow will have to connect me to a leash that Celestia gave us."

"A what now?"

Rainbow then grabbed the leash and bought it to her friends. "This leash. All I have to do, is put the small cuffs on Twilights hoofs, and attach the saddle to my body. It will make Twilight float like a balloon, but it will help Twilight travel."

Rarity then asked how would the residence handle it, and Rainbow informed them that Celestia is talking to the mayor about the current circumstances.  However, what concerned them more, is how would Twilight survive through this.

The time then came for the mane 6 to leave, and to head home. At that point, Rainbow heard Twilights stomach growl. Rainbow chuckled. "Guess your hungry Twi?" Rainbow murmured

"Yes."

"What would you like?"

"Daisy sandwich."

Rainbow nodded and went to the kitchen and began to make the sandwich. As Twilight was waiting, she began to think to herself. She couldn't believe what happened today. Being filled with magic air,and having her body inflated is one thing, but being stuck like it for 4-8 months, that scared Twilight. At that time she saw Rainbow in front of her with the sandwich. Twilight tried to levitate the sandwich, but it failed, her eyes began to develop tears. Rainbow smiled warmly and put the sandwich on the table and hugged her inflated marefriend, and began to brush her mane gently. "Shhh, don't cry Twi. I would love to help you eat." Rainbow murmur

"I....I'm scared Rainbow. Wh-what if I pop?"

"Twi, you won't pop. The spell doesn't make ponies pop. Besides...." At that moment, Rainbow planted a kiss on Twilights lips and looked at her warmly. "I'll be helping you. Remember, when we had the elements, I represented loyalty. You can count on me to help you."

At that moment, Rainbow got the sandwich and began to feed Twilight. Twilight however, didn't think it was a good idea, but due to her condition, it was best for her. After Rainbow finished feeding Twilight, Twilight pulled Rainbow into a hug again and rubbed her mane with her hoof. Rainbow could feel Twilight inflated body on her body. "Th-thank you Dashie." Twilight thanked.

Next day

Through out yesterday, Rainbow had to help Twilight a lot. During the time, Celestia returned to the library with the thing Twilight would be wearing since she will be incapable of using the facilities like normal. To twilight and Rainbow, it looked like the thing sumo ponies, and sumo dragons wore in sumo matches. However, Celestia said it's a special type of diaper. She said she had these specially made incase something like what happen happens again.

The next day, Rainbow woke up at her usual wake up time for work. Today she was going to have to take leave from work. She flew to cloud chasers house and knocked on the door. At that moment, Cloud chaser came to the front door and saw Rainbow. "Are you supposed to be working right now Rainbow?" Cloud Chaser asked sternly.

"Can I talk to you, I need to discuss something with you. It's urgent."

"Okay..... what is it?"

"I have to take leave of absence from weather patrol for 4-8 months."

"I can't allow you..."

"LET ME FINISH! The reason is is because, since a spell horribly back fired on my marefriend, Princess Twilight Sparkle, She ended up getting inflated due to it, and she is incapable of doing anything on her own. I have to be spending the 4-8 months helping her until the counter spell can be used."

Cloud Chaser could tell that Rainbow was concern about her marefriends state. She could even tell Rainbow was a little scared. She began to think. As she came with her answer she looked at Rainbow. "Rainbow..... you have my permission to take your leave of absense."

"Huh?"

"Rainbow, for one, you told me the whole truth, I could tell you weren't lying when you mentioned what happen and the reason why. Take the time you need to help her."

"Thank you."

With that, Rainbow then headed back to the library. She couldn't go to the academy, since she can't leave Twilight that long, so she needed to have Celestia give word to Spitfire about what happen, and the current circumstances.
