I hope it wont be painfull.
The moment they find me.
When they rip me to shreds. To nothing.
I am scared.

I found this diary hidden behind a coffe table. It was empty. Just like the house I found it in. As soon as we heard the dreadfull screams of the royal sisters, we ran into this house.
Their screams.
As the sidewalk got spattered with blood.
Royal blood.
Their blood.
I know I should not have, but I did. As I ran into this house, I looked back. Watched nothing tear my metor into shreads of horseflesh. Watch nothing tear my mentor's sister tear her into shreads.
Now, you may wonder how nothing can tear a pony as strong as the princess herself into shreads. I dont know. All I know is, its painfull. I can still her the royal screams, ringing in my ears.
Anyway, we (applejack, pinkie, rarity and me) ran into the house. The nothing, as we shall call it, decided to take out the pegasi first, aiming for poor fluttershy and Rainbow Dash first.
They were no match for the nothing. I covered my ears as Rainbow screamed in terror, while the nothing tore her tail off, followed by her legs, all the while grinning in pleasure as the pain of torture hit the nothing.
Poor defensless fluttershy watched helplessly as the nothing did that to rainbow dash. She knew she was viewing her own death.
Anyway, I keep getting off track. Fluttershy ran, while i turned to see the nothing being done with Rainbow dash and moving onto the two alicorns, whose horns were blazing with light, doing anything they could to stop the horror that was occuring infront of them. The nothing grabbed them. I watched... blah blah... we ran... bal blah...
so.... now were in the house, right? Pinkie started rummaging around, tears cascading down her face at the memory of her rainbow maned friend died in the clutches of the nothing. Rarity simply sat down and cried “kill me now, this torture of mine wants to be over,” tears, forming a pool beneath her. I sat next to her and pat her back, mimiking her crying.
“BUCK, SOMEPONY HELP ME!” applejack screamed as the nothing tore through the door, grabbed applejack with one of its long, sticky temtacles and pulled her out of the house. We her a wet scream and then nothing.
The darkness decided to move, and so the sound of scream becomes fainter as it moves away.
“well, it was nice knowing you guys.” Pinnkie said with no sarcasm at all. Her hair was deflated, with sadness. She was the same pinkie we knew, just different hair.
“anypony....uh... got a rope?” pinkie blushed as she said it. It as no wonder she wanted to hang herself, it was better commiting suicide than being tortured by the nothing.
“pinkie...” rarity lifts a hoof to the pink pony.
“yes, rarity?”
“your going to kill yourself?”
“yes, rarity.”
Rarity was silent. She shifted to get a better sitting position,rubbing against me.
“the window is broken, and the umm... shard of glass look pretty sharp.” Rarity said. It suprised me that she was helping her friend kill herself. I though pinkie would be offended, but she just nodded, told us we loved her, grabbed a piece of glass and went into the other room. At least she had nice last words.
Rarity sobbed.
I walked up to the table that pinkie rummaged around. Ontop of it there was this notebook, and a pencil was inside another room. This is what I am writing in now.
Rarity said “I think that I want to die too.”
As if on cue, the ground shook, the screams came closer.
“not by him killing me!” rarity shrieked. “kill me now, twilight! I should have killed myself with pinkie!”
The nothing broke more windows as it passed. Rarity ran outside, followed by me. Ponies were in the air, being held up by the nothing, being tortured by its many tentacles.
Rarity decided to book it to her boutique. She was lifted into the air directly above me.
“twilight, RUN FOR BUCKS SAKE” were her last words, as the nothing tore her head off, more blood covered me.
I ran.
For a long time.
It felt like I ran to Los Pegasus.
And, I got here. Another house, all alone, the nothing clawing at the window, along with the terrible wind and snow.
end of diary sequence.
Twilight braced herself as another gust of wind drove into the house she entered seconds ago, shovering on the floor. Her teeth chattered. She was dying from cold.
“whos there?” came a shill little voice
“its m-m-me... twilight sp-p-parkle.” Our unicorn managed to shout into the darkness.
“twilight? Is it really you?”
“umm.. yeah its me. Who are you?”
To twilights amazement, out of the shadows stepped a group of ponies. Trixie the unicorn, octavia, carrot top, and snips and snails. They were all sivering cold. The voice that had called out to her was trixie.
twilight started.“okay, first of all, trixie, can we just-”
Trixie put a hoof over her mouth and smiled sadly, which twilight took to be a peace offer.
“were all in this together. We have to treat each other equally. Twilight sparkle. I recognize you too.” octavia said. “would you like anything to eat? We found it in the house.” She offered the lavender unicorn some food.
Twilight took them and digged in, inhaling the food and snuggling up next to carrot top, who was a really nice pony.
despite the horrible whinnies of terror outside, she managed to fall asleep.
So, I ran.
Escaping the terrible horror, I ran to Canterlot.
It took quite a while, But I did. Turns out Snips and Snails had the idea, because when I got to canterlot, (or rather, what was left of it...) they were there, looking for food.
So, here I am now, cowering in a glass building, the darkness thrashing its tentacles at the glass. It is about to break, I know. Then I will meet my fate. It will be terrible. And probably painfull. I cant wait. Not in a good way.
Snips and Snails died, the worst death yet. Suprisingly it was not the nothing that killed them. It was a fire. They got trapped in one of the crannies they looked for food in, and it got lighted on fire. I tried to help them.
I wince as the nothing whips at the glass door again. Its not going to ignore me again. It wants me. To kill me.
I open my diary.
I am so scared. The nothing will break through the glass and I will be done for. Gone. I hope it wont hurt.

Morning came, and trixie and carrot top were gone.
“went out for food.” octavia explained. “didint come back. Its been 8 hours; they left righ after you fell asleep.”
Twilight shivered. Not from the cold.
Snips and snails were in the back of the house, rummaging around. Probably for food.
Octavia was sitting on a rock, looking at her hooves.
“Is there any water?” twilight asked. Her throat was burning from all the dust in the destroyed house.
“well, there was but we ran out. Theres a pond right next to the house, though. You can go there, I think that the monster is gone. I hear nothing.”
Nodding, Twilight stepped outside. The sun was shining, it looked like a beautifull day. Despite the bodies of dead, rotting ponie corpses everywhere. The hot sun made the smell even worse.
Wondering briefly how the sun can even be up with the goddes down, she gave up and made for the pond. Beside it was trixie and carrot top. Dead. Trixie was torn in half. Her guts seeped out from her body, piling onto the sidewalk to create a bloody pile. Carrot top's body looked fine. A couple a scratches on her yellow coat. Her head, though, was nowere to be seen. All that was there was was her neck, a gaping hole in it, bloody and fly-filled.
Emptying her last nights dinner on the sidewalk, she decided she wasnt thirsty. The pond had turned a sickening red. She made for the house.
Inside, Snips and sanils somehow managed to find food. Bless their souls, they immidiately ran up to octavia and gave it to her. Octaia lookes at the food. A cob of corn and six carrots. She devided it evenly between all of us, giving snips nad snails each an extra kernel of corn.
As they ate, screams came louder and the ground began to shake.
The nothing was back.
We all ran outside, because the house would instantly crush us if it was stepped upon. I thanked otavia and parted with ehr for the last time, jst as she was lifter into the air. Her intestines scattered everywhere. Snips and snails ran off.
