Equestria is a world populated by four legged equine creatures called ponies, and there are four different types of ponies first the unicorns who are the magical beings which have the ability to hold things with their magic and learning new spells, second the Pegasi they are more the athletic type and spend most of their time on weather patrol or working in the weather factory in Cloudsdale made from clouds where most Pegasus ponies don't just work there, but some are residence of the cloud city.
The third species in Equestria are earth ponies who have no wings or horns but what they do have is their strength and what they do is tend to their land and grow crops and flowers and other type of plants, and the fourth race of ponies are the rarest and most powerful as they are bigger than the other three races, and they have large wings, a horn as they possess powerful advanced magic and they also share the same strength as earth ponies they were known as alicorns, who were royalty and became guardians of the land since they were more powerful and knew the ways of battle, leadership and power.
When Equestria was discovered by the Pegasi, unicorns and earth pony tribes who came together in harmony, also became the celebration of Hearths Warming Eve.
Two Alicorns one a white alicorn mare with a flowing mane and tail with fire colours her name was Queen Sunflare. she had the ability to control nature in all it's different forms and she also had the power to bring the sun out to make way for dawn, a Alicorn stallion with a dark blue grey coat and a short dark blue mane and tail which was sparking like the night sky and flowing like flames, his name was King Orfores, he had the ability to bring the moon out to make way for the night.
He was Equestria's protector and whenever there was either a war on the land, he would always fight along side his soldiers, but since then everything was kept in harmony the Queen had fallen pregnant and the King thought of a castle in the Everfree Forest would be more calming for them to raise their offspring, rather than Canterlot since it wasn't the peaceful place to raise royal foals.
Besides Queen Sunflare didn't feel comfortable to have these mortal ponies bother them just because the Queen was pregnant, so they unfolded their wings and took off, and traveled through a field and as they flew through the forest to a wooden bridge and in front of them was the castle. The King was called off due to another war this time it was a griffin invasion, Queen Sunflare rested in the castle and gave birth to her first foal, a white alicorn filly with a flowing pink mane and tail and named her Celestia.
Queen Sunflare was feeling the happiest she had ever been, when King Orfores got back from the Griffin war he was beaming with pride and he decided too address the Eternal Herd of the news, they were only worried as they could for-see the future and all it's events.
A couple of years had past and Sunflare had another foal a dark grey alicorn colt and Orfores named him Markarthus which means guardian of heroism in the Herds language, he was dark grey with a dark neon red mane and tail flowing like flames, Celestia was a nine year old filly who was adventurous and wanted to explore Equestria whenever King Orfores went to Canterlot to still fulfil the royal duties he sometimes brought Celestia to show her around Equestria and telling her she'll one day rule Equestria.
When Celestia found out she going to have a sibling, she was exciting since a filly her age never had many friends since her Orfores forbidden her to make friends with the mortal ponies, since royal alicorns think that mortal ponies are good for nothing worthless scavengers looking to rob the rich and feed the poor.
Sunflare was a proud mother and was always worried when the two siblings went off in the gardens together, so she always had one of the royal guards to watch over the siblings, and it was the start when Celestia came into contact with a dragon.
"Princess Celestia you are forbidden to wander anywhere else" said the royal guard reaching out his hoof out "don't worry captain Breezewing we're not that far away from the castle"
Celestia responded while still walking on with the dark grey coat on her back smiling.
Until she bumped into a strange being that felt like it had hard scales, Celestia quickly shook her head repeatedly and looked up to see nostrils flaring like they were going to let out fire, Celestia was confused and couldn't understand why this creature seemed so... angry.
"Who are you strange creature" Celestia spoke sounding brave the dark blue creature as he crawled down and frowned at Celestia
"who I'm I? Who I'm I..." He makes Celestia walk backwards
"I'm General Fireclaw" he was then interrupted
"AWAY FROM MY CHILDREN!!!!!" King Orfores said in his royal Canterlot voice as flew in front of Fireclaw
"you must be King Orfores shouldn't you be living in Canterlot" Fireclaw smirked evilly
"you broke through the Barrier Fireclaw" Orfores growled
"the Draco'dim's pride dragons don't usually bother with ponies" Orfores continued "what you gonna do Orfores tell my master HA good luck with that" he smirked and he flew away he did a evil chuckle.
Celestia and Markarthus were confused and when their father turned around and faced them but his eyes were more on Celestia as he frowned
"follow me" he said sounding angry and disappointed, Markarthus was levitated on his father's back as Celestia walked feeling ashamed, Orfores gave captain Breezewing a nod as he followed behind Celestia.
Sunflare was walking back to the throne room when Orfores was walking in with stern look on his and she was concerned seeing ashamed Celestia walking behind her father, Markarthus was levitated off his father's back and ran to his big sister and gave her a comforting hug, Celestia didn't welcome the gesture.
"I'm sorry father" Celestia said quietly, Orfores's ears twitched when he heard that quiet murmur
"your sorry" he started out quiet but then loud "your sorry! sorry isn't good enough seeing how you could of been killed and not only put yourself in danger but you put your brother in danger as well" Orfores shouted in a growly voice.
Outside Equestria's Barrier out in the Far East the Draco'dim pride dragons lived and hunted for dragons who have lost their purpose and have let greed and gluttony take over them.
The leader who's name was Alralhadar who's scales were as black as night it's self his spines were sharp and jagged like blades the horns on his head resembled the shape of a crown.
Alralhadar had been feeling weak ever since Fireclaw rebelled against him and took most of his powers, he only just had enough strength to have enough magic to answer this communication hologram, and the hologram took the form of king Orfores himself
"if it isn't the alicorn king of Equestria himself what gives you the right to contact me" he growls in a deep rough booming voice
"one of your pride dragons has broke through the Equestria Barrier says his name is" "FIRECLAW!!!" Alralhadar shouted, Orfores eyes widened when he noticed something off about the dragon king.
"He was my apprentice and he betrayed me and absorbed all of my powers and took them for himself so he can" he gestures with his hands
"take over Equestria and let it be dragon cauntry" Alralhadar spoke, just as Orfores was about to respond to that the dragon king's strength was beginning to weaken and so he lost his connection and the magical hologram faded away.
Orfores and Sunflare were in shock on what they heard Alralhadar say about his apprentice, then everything was in silence, until Sunflare broke the silence "this Fireclaw must be stopped before he does something that will put everypony in Equestria at risk" "best thing we can do is to keep Celestia and Markarthus safe."
Another year had past and nothing bad happened Celestia and Markarthus had grew into their teens and gained their cutie marks, Celestia did what her mother did by practicing raising the sun making way for the dawn, and a picture of a sun appeared on her flank and her mane and tail changed colour from just being light pink instead it was a mixture of light pink with light green and light blue.
Markarthus was able control nature in different forms and had excellent skills to learn necromancer spells which gave him the title grand prince of the earth, his cutie mark was a picture of a sword flowing with magic with wings sticking out.
Sunflare had become pregnant again and gave birth to a dark blue alicorn filly with a dark blue coat just like her father and her flowing mane and tail with a purple outline and sparkling like the night sky, the Orfores named his second daughter Luna.
Celestia spent more time with her little sister then her parents and Markarthus, it was good enough seeing how both the king and queen had to go too Canterlot to discuss with the rest of the captain of the royal guard and the hologram of the past royals of the Eternal Herd about what to do about Fireclaw.
Only this time the king and queen had been in Canterlot and didn't get back to Everfree Castle till about midnight, Celestia was looking after Luna and Markarthus kept a lookout and after Celestia put Luna to bed, then she walked to the throne room where Markarthus was pacing waiting for their parents
"brother why aren't you asleep" Celestia exclaimed. Markarthus turned his head and saw his big sister standing on top of the stairs
"I could ask you the same thing big sister" his head turned an inch to the direction where Luna's room is and quickly glanced at Celestia
"Luna asleep" he spoke as he stopped pacing, Celestia gently nodded she was about to speak until they heard a loud commotion outside the main entrance, the two sibling quietly opened the door and saw something that would terrify them for the rest of their immortal lives.
"SUNFLARE!!!" Orfores shouted as he fired a lightening spell at Fireclaw blasting him backwards towards the forest trees, Orfores quickly galloped towards Sunflare who was badly
injured and gently pulled the silver enchanted dagger out of her chest, and she was barely breathing
"no..." Orfores said quietly as he nuzzled Sunflare on her cheek.
He slowly lifted his head up and saw Celestia and Markarthus peeking their heads through the door, Fireclaw quickly pulled out another silver enchanted dagger and threw it at Orfores's heart he didn't make a sound as he collapsed and died.
Fireclaw turned his head and spotted the two sibling and all he respond with was an evil chuckle, Markarthus felt rage boil inside him and bursted out from behind the door and started firing a lightening spell at Fireclaw as the dark blue cyborg dragon flew away.
Celestia took care of her little sister Luna and taught her everything their parents taught her, Markarthus was so angry him and his older sister fell apart and hardly ever spoke to each other and hardly saw Luna seeing how Celestia didn't want nothing to do with Markarthus and his violent ways, but Luna was to smart for that and always sneaked into Markarthus's room which made him smile as she always at any chance she could would always keep him company.
A couple of years had past and Luna had grown up earned her cutie mark which was a moon, which meant she took over the job her father had by raising the moon to make way for the night, but there was a problem nopony seem to care about her beautiful night as they always slept through it, and none of the mortal ponies would appreciate her and would always favour Celestia.
While Prince Markarthus forged his army on the outskirts Celestia and Luna protected Equestria and their subjects by using the elements of harmony which are very powerful gems that came from the tree of harmony hidden underneath the Everfree castle near the bridge to the entrance, the two sisters gathered the elements of harmony to defeat the Draconequus known as Discord from turning Equestria into the chaos capital of the world.
As the two sisters went to receive the elements they weren't the only ones, Fireclaw and his second in command named Sappscale; had came to corrupt the elements of harmony but they were defeated as Prince Markarthus rushed in and fought the two dragons to protect his sisters.
But nothing was gonna stop Fireclaw the war was on.

Chapter 1
A Foal's Loss
Once upon a time in the magical land of Equestria; unicorns, pegasi and earth ponies live together in harmony and keep the magic of friendship alive and none of that would be possible if it wasn't for the royal alicorn sisters and their brother.
The oldest sibling Princess Celestia the one who brings the sun up to make way for the dawn, the mid-oldest Prince Markarthus, he was more Equestria's protector he was also known as grand Prince of the earth which means he can control nature in many different forms, he was more into obeying their parents and that he obeys the rule and order of the Eternal Herd, which is the place where the past rulers go when they pass on.
The youngest Princess Luna just like Princess Celestia but she brings the moon out to make way for the night. Now these 3 siblings had Equestria filled with love and tolerance until war broke loose against a cyborg dragon by the name of General Fireclaw who committed the ultimate crime of assassinating the king and queen known as their parents, this drove the siblings to fall apart with Markarthus to form his own Kingdom on the outskirts of Equestria and named it the "Barrier Lands " and forge his own army called "the Equestrian Legion."
Princess Celestia was busy with ruling Equestria and looking after Princess Luna and when Luna was corrupted by nightmare moon and with Celestia using the elements of harmony to banish her own sister, Fireclaw had been planning for the assassination of the children of the king and queen, Prince Markarthus had been keeping an eye on General Fireclaw's next move and when he was told by the Eternal Herd about Princess Luna being possessed by Nightmare moon, he then traveled back to Equestria and plan to kill Luna and send her to the Eternal Herd.
But Celestia couldn't bare not being without her little sister so she banished her instead, as Fireclaw gained more power from his master and creator Alralhadar, who leads a bunch of pride dragons known as the Draco'dim, Fireclaw then started planning to start provoking a war, Captain Wolfgang a unicorn who is a highly trained special operations mercenary agent tried to talk to Celestia not to get involved because that would encourage Fireclaw to start the war.
So Wolfgang recruited her own team and evacuated ponies from their homes and fought Fireclaw's army of warrior dragons also known "Scalefangers "
When Prince Markarthus heard that there was a dragon war in the Heartland it turned out it was in the Barrier Lands and he always thought "could Fenra be lending his wolven to General Fireclaw" since then Markarthus has became intense thinking about, if Fireclaw was gonna assassinate him first.
It's been close to 25 years since the legion ponies at the Barrier lands won their war against Fenra's wolven, and since then everything was quiet, some of the legion night watch kept a lookout, one the leader captain Vanguard clash an experienced legionnaire who had been fighting all his life, along side him was Scarlet rabbit an experienced flyer who will challenge any Pegasus to a race and if he didn't win he would go insane and murder that Pegasus who beat him
"be careful Scarlet I know your well trained but we've had encounters with wolven ambushes in the past" Vanguard said in his rough wolven like voice,
as they were walking further away from Fangbreaker Fortress the snow was getting thicker and it was getting more and more diff
"you know the wolven don't scare me captain" he pauses for a moment switching his night vision on while catching up with Vanguard
"plus that mare that your with Rapidlight isn't she expecting a foal soon" he asked with smirk.
Vanguard stopped "yes but that's none of your business Scarlet now let's concentrate on searching the perimeter and then get back to Fangbreaker Fortress so we can give the all clear" Vanguard explained.
They had finished their night watch and headed back, Prince Markarthus a tall dark grey alicorn a lot taller than his sister Princess Celestia and his mane and tail were flowing like flames with a red neon shine that looked kinda dull, the prince was standing at the front gate waiting for the scouting groups
"where is captain Vanguard and that pathetic misfit Scarlet rabbit" as soon as prince Markarthus said he caught glimpse of captain Vanguard walking towards him and Scarlet rabbit hovering above next to Vanguard
"captain any sign of any wolven activity" Markarthus said giving a small frown.
"it's all deserted out there your majesty not a wolven in sight" Vanguard said while bowing along with Scarlet rabbit.
Vanguard and Scarlet walked into the city "wait captain" Vanguard turned his head facing Markarthus.
"congratulations to you and Rapidlight... let's hope your offspring can become a great legion fighter like you" Markarthus said then he flew up back to his palace, Vanguard smiled a bit after hearing that from the prince.
Vanguard returned to his quarters to check on Rapidlight "how are you feeling my love"
"I'm fine Vanguard I went to see the medic's and they said the foal was fine" Rapidlight responded while hugging Vanguard
"how was the night watch did we really defeat the wolven" she continued as she was nuzzling him
"it appears we have but we don't know for sure" he paused as he shown no emotion to Rapidlight's affection
"the last thing we need is the wolven to ambush us in our sleep and wipe us all out."
Meanwhile prince Markarthus had visited the Heartland known as Equestria to visit his two sisters in Canterlot castle
"big brother what are you doing here" the dark blue alicorn with long flowing mane and tail sparkling with a purple outline, Markarthus remained serious as he began to speak
"I came to let you know that the wolven are no-more at least for now and I'd be careful when the next dragon migration you can't trust them because of you know who, plus those chosen are still fighting in that war I hear seeing how you keep it quiet to the rest of your chosen subjects Celestia" Markarthus frowned.
"I only keep it quiet to my subjects cause I don't want anymore more them risking their lives big brother... besides these ponies aren't like your legionaries" Celestia stood up standing in front of her brother
"no sister it's because you try to make the world sound happy with harmony, friendship and love when the outskirts are filled with" he moved his face straight to Celestia meeting his sister in eye level
"pain... fear... and terror" Markarthus pulls his head back " these chosen rather panic and rather look for help from the two sisters who bring the sun"
he points to Celestia "and the moon" he points to Luna, Markarthus then turned his back still frowning
"what about the chosen who's fighting in the dragon war with her team just like my legionnaires at least she understands the meaning of war than you do" Markarthus growled.
Luna stepped forward.
"listen here big brother me and big sister want everypony in Equestria to be protected, safe and live in harmony with each other" Luna said trying to convince her brother that he's wrong about the heartlands ponies,
Markarthus grunts with annoyance and teleported back to Fangbreaker Fortress, as he went Luna couldn't help but raise an eyebrow looking her sister's face thinking about what Markarthus had said
"Tia are you ok" she walks closer to Celestia putting a hoof around her shoulder
"don't listen to big brother I think he's just jealous because his legionnaire ponies don't have the life our subjects have here in Equestria...
Luna lifts Celestia's chin up with her hoof meeting in eye level
"cheer up Tia as long as we maintain keeping the peace in Equestria and that unicorn mare captain Wolfgang helping to fight in that dragon war" Luna said as she smiled,
Celestia couldn't help but let a tear flow down her face as she smiled at her little sister
"thanks Luna" Celestia said as she hugged her sister
"now if you excuse me I need to rest" Celestia walked towards the door as she turned her head facing her sister with a smile, Luna couldn't help but have a worried look in her eyes as Celestia smiled nervousness.
Back to the Barrier lands and Scarlet rabbit, Tocolt and a dark green unicorn mare by the name of Cathstar had finished their patrol night watch
"as anypony seen Vanguard he was supposed to be back from the night watch" Tocolt asked while drinking a pint of "good stuff "
"What's wrong Cathstar... you've been awful quiet most of the night watches" Scarlet rabbit said while hovering above the ground, Cathstar shook her head repeatedly, snapping herself out of thought
"what did you say Scarlet" she asked
"is there something wrong cause you've been awfully quiet during the night watch" Scarlet said putting his hoof on her shoulder,
Cathstar sighs "I just think of all the fillies and colts born here... it's not exactly the heartland and we barely survive during all the battles were in against the wolven and nearly most legionaries die" Cathstar says as she looks at Scarlet.
"Yeah you have a point Cathstar but that's just life plus we legion ponies grew up here so were used it and didn't you say you were from the Heartland"
"yeah that's right I was and I'm glad I'm not anymore... to many lies" Cathstar said looking at a necklace that was given to her by her parents.
Tocolt had just took another gulp of his drink until he saw in the distance what looked to be Vanguard galloping towards them with laser weapons firing and wolven chasing him, Tocolt spat out his drink.
"look it's Vanguard clash he's being attacked" Tocolt yelled as he hurried to the siren, Scarlet rabbit and Cathstar turned their heads and saw Vanguard, as the siren switched on every legionnaire Pegasi, unicorn and earth pony ran out with their full armour and had their weapons out ready and reached the gate outside the city,
Scarlet rabbit pulled out his crossbow and Cathstar readied her magic to launch a fireball
"who's that Vanguards carrying on his back" she said squinting her eyes to see the white unconscious pony on his back, Scarlet rabbit flew up and looked through his binoculars as he caught a glimpse of the unconscious pony.
"it's Pyre Valor!!!" Scarlet shouted as he then fired his crossbow to a pouncing wolven as the arrow shot and flew to the wolven face killing it in seconds
"great shot Scarlet" Cathstar said as she fired her fireball from her horn, Vanguard had stopped next to the other earth pony who came through the gate along with the whole legion army
"Blademane quickly take Pyre Valor to medical quarters" Vanguard asked as he lifted Pyre Valor off his back and put her on Blademane's, Vanguard saluted to Blademane and he does the same.
Every legionnaire mare and stallion fought the army of wolven along with the dragons flying above, Prince Markarthus tilted his head with confusion
"why are the dragons helping fight with the wolven" he thought then a massive lightning strike appeared in the sky and appeared from the dark red smoke from it was a dark blue dragon with a mechanical arm his eyes were glowing green, flaming in the dark red sky, Markarthus unfolded his wings and flew up to the dragon
"General Fireclaw what are doing here" Markarthus growled
"ah Prince Markarthus long time no see... still in this dump of a fortress I remember when you and your sister what was her name... ah yes Princess Celestia of Equestria found me killing your parents"
Markarthus felt rage filling inside him "YOU SON OF A WHORE!!!" Markarthus charged at him but was stopped when Fireclaw fired a plasma fireball from his hand, Markarthus was just quick enough to use his magic and fire back, both collided
"as soon as I finish you off I shall plan the royal alicorn sisters of Equestria deaths" Fireclaw smirked, his rage was ready to burst out of him as Markarthus's horn glowed brighter and managed to release enough power to blast Fireclaw to a rooftop building, Markarthus hovered down to where Fireclaw landed and started beating him.
Meanwhile while all the legionnaires were fighting trying to hold off the wolven and the dragons, at the medical quarters Rapidlight was giving birth to the foal as she was giving birth she saw the unconscious body of Pyre Valor on the hospital bed just two beds away, Blademane noticed Rapidlight and galloped over to her
"Bladmane what's happening out there, where's Vanguard"
"there's a wolven, dragon attack Vanguard galloped towards the fortress gates with Pyre on his back and the army of wolven and dragons behind... but I'm pretty sure he's fine he's a tough fighter" Blademane said putting his hoof on her shoulder.
Rapidlight started to have a worried look on her face and yet she was bored cause she always enjoyed a good battle, Vanguard being the experienced fighter that he is but Rapidlight was still worried about him, Blademane had galloped out the medical room to get back to the battle, and then hours had past the foal was born, a white greyish unicorn colt with a sky blue mane and tail with a red lightning strip the middle, his mane was spiky at the front and the tail was spiky and short.
Redbrand placed the young colt to Rapidlight and held the young colt in her arms and kissed him on the forehead next to his little horn as he slept in his mothers arms,
"so what's the young colts name" Redbrand asked pulling a cart of medical supplies over to Pyre Valor, the young unicorn foal peeped as his eyelids slowly opened one eye looked like a wolven eye just like Vanguard's and one eye was normal Rapidlight smiled.
"Aiden.... Aiden frostfire clash".
It was 13 hours and the battle had finished many legionnaires were wounded 2 were dead but they managed to kill most of the wolven, Vanguard walked in the medical quarters and most legionnaires who were bandaged were standing around Rapidlight's bedside looking at the new foal, Vanguard walked towards the bedside and Rapidlight caught sight of him walking towards her, everypony moved aside and they went back to their hospital beds for some rest, while Vanguard sat by his marefriends side
"what did you name him" as Rapidlight gave the young colt for Vanguard to hold,
"his name is Aiden Frostfire clash" she responded feeling exhausted from giving birth as Rapidlight closed her eyes to sleep for awhile,
Vanguard couldn't help but let out a smile it was the first he's ever been happy in days, he held young Aiden with one arm as he took off his bardon helmet showing his face to his son.
Prince Markarthus was all beaten up after battling Fireclaw, fresh blood was dripping from above is left eye but other than that nothing but scrapes and bruises, Markarthus then decided to visit captain Vanguard and Rapidlight as the alicorn Prince could sense the new arrival to the Barrier lands was born, he then flew to the medical quarters.
"Holy horseshoes Prince Markarthus's coming" Scarlet said catching a glimpse of the half opened door everypony turned their heads as Prince Markarthus walked in and started bowing,
Vanguard turned his head seeing the prince walk towards him
"congratulations captain what's the young colt's name"
"Aiden sir... Aiden frostfire clash"
Vanguard responded proudly as he looked at the young colt and smirked.
"he'll be a fine legionnaire when he grows up" the Prince said, Vanguard smiled as he continued to look down at the sleeping foal in his arms.
A couple of years had past well since days go quicker at the Barrier lands than in the Heartland, and young Aiden had grew up as a 7 year old, he was old enough now to have a part time job since foals start work at a early age.
Aiden was called to the prince's palace for a delivery
"yes your highness is there something you want me to deliver" the young colt said trying to sound brave, Markarthus couldn't help but smile at the young legionnaires spunky attitude
"I need you to deliver a message to my two sisters in the Heartland"
"Heartland?! What is the Heartland?" Aiden asked, Markarthus walked towards him and wrapped a wing around him
"the Heartland also known as Equestria there live ponies like us but they have cutie marks but we call them chosen, plus they haven't experienced life like we legion ponies" he responded to Aiden's question.
"Your sisters who are they?"
"They rule Equestria, my older sister Princess Celestia she brings the sun out and my younger sister Princess Luna brings the moon out at night" Markarthus places a map of Canterlot and uses his magic to place it in Aiden's saddlebag and also places the note in his bags as well.
"and pass them a message to them" Markarthus whispers the message in his ear.
Aiden uses his magic to teleport, but before he does, he salutes to Markarthus and then closes his eyes tight and his horn started to glow brighter and brighter, and then he vanished, a legion Pegasus guard then ran into Markarthus's throne
"your highness the dragons and the wolven are back and they've taken Bastion city and were losing more legionnaires" Markarthus's eyes widened in panic
"I knew this day was coming" he thought to himself
"if you find anypony still alive, evacuate them" Markarthus replied his wings unfolded and he used his magic open a locked cabinet and inside was a mark 2 bardon armour reinforced, he then used his magic to equip the armour on him, as he did that he caught a glimpse of General Fireclaw
"I'm gonna take you down" Markarthus growled as he took off to the skies ready to fight the evil dragon General.

"no time to meet yours" they both said at the same time while charging at each other firing their weapons, Markarthus's battle saddle wasn't doing enough damage compared to
Fireclaw's tri-beam laser rifle that was ten times more accurate then the battle saddle, Scarlet rabbit could see the prince fighting the dragon and aimed his crossbow to the dragon, as the arrow fired it hit right on Fireclaw's leg
"AHH!!!" Fireclaw yelled out, Markarthus glanced where the arrow came from, Scarlet rabbit saluted when the prince looked at him then Scarlet flew towards the other Pegasi and continued fighting.
Meanwhile in Canterlot: Aiden walked towards the castle using his magic to levitate the map Prince Markarthus gave him
"all these chosen were looking at me with disgust with a snob look on their faces" he thought to himself.
"Halt who goes there"
"I'm here to give Princess Celestia and Princess Luna a message I am with the Equestrian legion" Aiden responded trying to sound brave
"the Equestrian legion that's just an old ponies tale now away with you kid" the Pegasus guard said
"listen this message is really important please let me in" Aiden showed them the message he was holding in his hoof, the guards looked at each other with a serious look and then they stared back at the young colt
"ok you can go in but don't cause trouble" the unicorn guard said while the two guards moved aside, Aiden saluted at them and walked into the castle he pulled out his second map of Canterlot castle, prince Markarthus gave him and not looking where he was going, he bumped into somepony Aiden stood up and put his map in his saddlebag and saw 6 ponies.
"I'm so sorry miss" he said holding his hoof out the purple unicorn, took his hoof and stood up, he then gave a quick glance at their flanks "they're chosen" Aiden thought, they stared at him for a while but before they said anything he already ran for it.
"That was close" he said looking behind him, Aiden levitated his map out of his saddlebags he couldn't help but look behind him thinking of those 6 chosen
"sure they seemed nice and pretty but remember what father said" he then hears his fathers voice as he said it aswell
"never trust chosen" he made it into the throne room and there in front of him were two alicorns one white with a long colourful flowing mane and tail and one looked shorter and was dark blue with a night sky blue long flowing mane and tail
"excuse me are you Princess Celestia and Princess Luna" Aiden said walking towards them and then he stopped in the middle of the room and bowed, the two alicorns turned their heads the younger one walked forwards the young colt
"yes I'm Princess Luna and this my big sister Princess Celestia... and what brings you here young colt" Luna responded.
"My name is Aiden Frostfire clash I have come from the Barrier lands I bring a message from your brother Prince Markarthus" their eyes widened and Aiden levitated the message and used his magic to pull it out of his saddlebags and just as Celestia walked forward to take the message, then a dark silvery light beamed in the room and as it cleared it was Prince Markarthus. Who was wounded
"big brother"
"your majesty" Aiden and the two alicorn sisters spoke at the same time in unison, Aiden ran towards Markarthus trying to help him stand up "Aiden you can't go back" Markarthus said struggling to even stand.
"Sir what's happened where are my parents" the young unicorn asked with panic in his voice, Markarthus shook his head repeatedly until his vision was a bit more clear, looked deep into Aiden's eyes "I'm sorry Frostfire but your parents are d... de... dead" Markarthus then collapsed from his injuries and exhaustion.
Aiden stepped back tears flowing down his face as he sat his hooves forehooves his face,
"GUARDS!!! GAURDS!!!" Celestia shouted, two guards a unicorn and a Pegasus came galloping through the door
"yes your highness what's seems to be the problem" the Pegasus guard asked while bowing
"get the royal physician tell him to stand by" Celestia said her wings unfolded the two guards saluted and galloped off, Celestia uses her magic to levitate her brother on her back and galloped behind the guards.
Luna walked towards the young colt and wrapped a wing around him "I'm sorry for your loss" Luna said in soft gentle voice, Aiden looked up at the dark blue alicorn with tear drenched eyes as he cried on her shoulder, Luna stroked his dark blue spiky mane comforting him while he cried the tears from the love for his parents.
As Celestia placed Markarthus on the hospital bed and headed back to the throne room back to the young colt, as she approached the throne room Luna was still there comforting the little fella while he continued crying
"Aiden Frostfire if you want I can find somepony who could take of you" Celestia said bringing her head down to him, Aiden careful moved his head from Luna shoulder and looked at Celestia with no emotion he was numb Luna and Celestia led him to the guest suite while they figured something out, Aiden walked towards the balcony tears continued to flow down his cheeks,
"who will look after him Tia" Luna asked looking behind her
"I think Cadence and Shining Armour shall raise him" Celestia saw one of the court scribes heading to the library, Celestia catches up to him.
"your majesty" said the scribe.
"take a letter for me" Celestia asked the scribe readied his quill pen
"as you wish I'm ready"
"dear Princess Cadence I hope your doing well in the Crystal Empire I need you and Shining Armour to come to Canterlot this minute as somepony will be needing all the help he can get. Yours truly Princess Celestia "
"will that be all your majesty"
"yes send it now" Celestia asked as she waved the scribe off.
"Are you sure Princess Cadence and Shining Armour will raise him I mean they still have a lot of royal duties and they might not have time to care for a foal"
"I'm sure they will take of him" Celestia said with hope in her voice.
Meanwhile in the Crystal Empire in a huge crystal palace: It was spacious inside it was so clean everything was glistening with sparkles, it had a huge amount of crystal stairs with over several rooms and in the throne room crystal guards were stood in attention, standing on the balcony on the right side of the throne a light pink alicorn with a long moderate violet with moderate rose and pale gold streaks on her mane and tail.
Princess Cadence was standing watching over the crystal ponies who were cleaning and vacuuming the Empire keeping it clean and glistening, the royal scribe from Canterlot had galloped into the throne room towards Cadence with Shining Armour leading
"Princess Cadence I have a message for you from Princess Celestia herself" said the scribe holding out the scroll in his left forehoof, Cadence turned around to face Shining Armour and the Canterlot scribe, she then uses her telekinesis to levitate the scroll out of the scribe's hoof and then she opened up and her eyes widened
"Celestia wants us in Canterlot" Cadence said to Shining Armour
"let's get there who knows it could be important" Shining Armour replied, so Cadence's horn glowed and so they teleported there way to Canterlot.
Princess Luna couldn't help herself but she had to go and check on Aiden, she used her magic to carry a plate of food for Aiden, the door opened Aiden didn't attempt to turn his head to look he felt numb he had no tears left to cry, until he flinched from Princess Luna's contact on his shoulder he turned his head quickly but didn't say anything as Luna gave him a warm kind smile
"I bought you some food... you must be hungry" Aiden used most of his strength to smile back at the Princess and then he stood up
"thank you ma'm" Aiden quietly said
"now please leave me alone" Aiden frowned then turned his back and walked to the balcony, Luna walked to the door but as she reached it, she stopped and her head facing Aiden resting his chin on the bar on the balcony tears dripping down his face.
As Luna exited the room Celestia walked towards the door with Princess Cadence and Shining Armour behind her. Luna opened the door again and Aiden was still on the balcony
"Aiden Frostfire" Celestia spoke up causing Aiden's head to shoot up from the bar and he turned his head, his eyes widened at the sight of Cadence and Shining Armour until his eyebrow raised with confusion
"what in the name of a chosen nag is going on here" Aiden asked his confusion turned to a frown.
Celestia walked towards Aiden and put a wing around him
"with your parents passed away you'll need somepony else to take care of you" Aiden moves Celestia's wing off his back as he frowned seriously
"I'm a legionnaire I'm not suppose to trust chosen ponies like you" Aiden started to be more aggressive
"Prince Markarthus won't approve..." he points at Cadence and Shining Armour
"even if these two are your part of royalty... NOW! for the last time just leave me ALONE" Aiden turns around sat anger boiling in him.
"Celestia can you leave me and Shining Armour alone with him we just want to talk to this young colt" Cadence exclaimed Shining Armour nodded, Celestia and Luna looked at each other and nodded at them and walked out of the room and closed the door behind them.
Aiden eyes widened when he noticed Princess Celestia and Princess Luna had left the room but he caught sight of Princess Cadence and Shining Armour he then turned his back and frowned
"what you still doing here" he said in a sinister tone
"we wanted to talk to you" Cadence exclaimed putting her hoof on his shoulder, Aiden flinched at the contact of Cadence's hoof and used his hoof to shove hers away, he continued to frown but he turned his head and sighed
"alright I'll let you talk" he said weakly
"even with your real parents dead we'll look after you like parents" Shining Armour said putting a hoof around Aiden as he smiled boldly
"my husbands right" Cadence put her hoof on Aiden's chin "we give you the care, attention and love like your real parents" Cadence smiled sweetly.
Aiden let his tears flow down his face as he smiled Cadence opened her fore hooves wide and he smiled as he walked into Cadence's fore hooves, Shining Armour stroked his mane and nuzzled him as Aiden had leaned his on Cadence's mane, they broke the loving embrace and they all walked out the room and Celestia and Luna looked at Aiden standing in the middle of Cadence and Shining Armour,
"Aiden before you go I need to tell you something, Aiden smiled boldly and interested what Celestia had to say
"when your eighteen you will join one of my subjects in the dragon war" Celestia finished what she said and smiled Aiden and Shining Armour both saluted and Princess Cadence bowed and smiled at her aunts.
The three ponies were on there way to the Crystal Empire, Aiden turned his head and saw the alicorn sisters smiling and caught up with the couple.

Take Back Baltimare
Aiden Frostfire clash a young legionnaire who is now being raised by Princess Cadence and Shining Armour, and for him it wasn't all bad, he was finding everyday a new adventure and he and Shining Armour hung out a lot like a father and son and Shining Armour would help him work out so he can build his strength up when he's older and Cadence always showed that motherly vibe towards him and he would always welcome the bedtime stories like the Daring Doo adventure books or if he wanted something education she would always read him the starswirl the bearded reference books, and he would mostly play around the Empire grounds with Cadence, and the Crystal ponies showed worried signs about his wolven eye but they found him to be harmless so they would greet him and smiled.
Though he wasn't a 100% percent he would always have dreams about his parents some be nightmares that would scare him the rest of the day, but he would always get the comforting hugs from the 2 ponies, who cared for the young colt and they were always there for him like he was their own.
Meanwhile the ponies of Baltimare were being evacuated due to the dragon war attacks taking place there, many mares and stallions who joined the special operation 101 taskforce army, who wear MJOLNIR Powered Assault Armour each armour had various different colours and except the tails were not covered and a knife holster on the left shoulder.
Everypony took cover in the trenches while the dragons fired their artillery guns as they were holding back the wolven who were charging towards the team of arm force ponies, the captain of the taskforce a unicorn mare who was born and raised in San Franciscolt and moved out at 12 without her parents knowing, and now lives in a apartment complex in Trottingham.
Some of the legion ponies from the Barrier lands had survived from the attack at Fangbreaker fortress which was Cathstar, Blademane, Tocolt and a dark mustard coloured unicorn stallion by the name of Sharpshot, Cathstar once knew Captain Wolfgang when they were fillies and then during their teens Cathstar decided to leave Equestria and found her way to the Barrier lands.
"This is day 2 of the dragon war the date is Thursday the 23rd of July, this is Captain Wolfgang of the special operations 101 taskforce army we've taken cover in the trench the dragons are firing artillery guns we've just barely survived the first wolven attack, I've never seen these monsters before but I've got a gut feeling the dragons have more of them, an old friend of mine Cathstar who left Equestria has returned with 3 legion ponies from the Barrier lands, have joined we could use the help a specially since they know how to fight these wolven, this is audio dairy 2 captain Wolfgang out".
It was time for Wolfgang's night watch and the pony she was on with was a tall strong red stallion
"looks like your on night watch with me huh"
"eeeyup" the stallion said his armour colour was green with small pieces of orange the colour of his tail, the stallion was rather shy but very strong and a good team player
"private Macintosh" Big Mac's head shot up hearing his name
"eeeeyup" he replied
"what made you want to join my army" Wolfgang asked her voice sounding like she's talking through a radio with her helmet on
"I wanted to feel like a hero to my family and prove that I'm not just a shy stallion who just bucks apples for a living" Mac replied taking off his helmet
"just be careful being in war can change you" Wolfgang puts a hoof on big Mac's shoulder
"thanks captain" Mac responded while glancing in the distance
"wait...? what in holy apple cores is that" Wolfgang levitated her helmet off and used her magic to levitate her binoculars in front of her face and looked through to see what Big Mac had a glimpse at.
"Holy Celestia sweet Luna lord... Mac gather everypony ready for battle" before Wolfgang could finish her sentence the watch post got burnt down by the dragons and Wolfgang fell right in the middle of the battlefield, she grabbed her assault rifle and started firing at the oncoming wolven.
The rest of the team grabbed their battle saddles and started shooting at the wolven, Cathstar saw Wolfgang pin down by wolven and jumped out of the trench while galloping to save her foalhood friend she fired numerous times at the oncoming wolven, Wolfgang stood up while continued firing using her telekinesis to hold her assault rifle, until she ran out of ammo "son of a blank flank" Wolfgang said while holstering her rifle and pulled out her 10mm pistol
"Wolfgang!!! Over here" Cathstar yelled out,
the blue unicorn mare turned her head and saw Cathstar until a wolven pinned her down biting and snapping furiously trying to take a bite, Cathstar gasped in shock and quickly galloped towards her friend and as she got close enough the dark green mare delivered a hard buck to the wolvens face, while Cathstar continued to fire Wolfgang got up and then they quickly galloped back towards the trench
"Wolfgang to flight crew we need air support I repeat we need air support"
"copy that captain we're on it" said the Pegasus flight commander.
Pegasi grab your battle saddles go go go!!!!" shouted the flight commander to the rest of the Pegasi,
they strapped on their battle saddles and unfolded their wings and took to the sky
"flight team fire at the dragons we'll take on the wolven"
"yes ma'm captain" the fight commander said putting on his helmet then he took off and grabbed his submachine gun off his back and fired at the dragons, one Pegasus threw grenades down towards the wolven chasing Wolfgang and Cathstar.
Meanwhile in Canterlot Princess Celestia was listening to Captain Wolfgang's audio logs that was sent to her, to report on how the war was going
"I should of listened to Wolfgang about General Fireclaw starting that war" Celestia said in a guilty tone in her voice, Luna pushed opened the door with her hoof and and saw her sister with a guilty look on her face
"Tia are you alright" Luna asked while walking towards her sister.
Celestia looked up
"this dragon war is playing on my mind I've been listening to captain Wolfgang's 2 audio logs"
"if anypony can handle this war captain Wolfgang can... she's the only pony who knows the meanings of combat"
"if I never interfered and listened to Wolfgang than this war would of never happened" Celestia said in grief
"don't blame yourself big sister you tried and you failed it's not the end of the world as long as those ponies fight like they mean it everything will back to normal and harmony restored" Luna replied meeting Celestia in eye level considering the height scale.
"There something I haven't told you little sister and it might shock you a bit" Celestia said wrapping a wing around Luna
"what is it Tia" Celestia was about to tell Luna about what General Fireclaw did, until a unicorn guard bolted in
"your highnesses Prince Markarthus want's you two to see him, he want's to speak with you" Celestia and Luna turned their heads to the guard and then back to each other and walked besides each other to see what Markarthus wanted to say.
They approached the medical quarters and there was Prince Markarthus in a oversized hospital bed covered with bloodstained bandages
"where... is... Frostfire... AH!!!" Markarthus said while wincing in pain, Celestia and Luna looked at each other then turned their attention to their big brother, Celestia walked towards the bed
"my niece Princess Cadence and the captain of the royal guard Shining Armour are looking after him but when he's 18 he'll join one of my subjects to fight in the dragon war"
Markarthus frowned a bit when hearing that Aiden is being looked after by chosen
"one thing you should know is that Aiden has a fast growing span where he will grow up quicker than the other chosen foals" he explained too his two sisters
"I just hope he's not gonna be a wimp on that battlefield" Markarthus then thought to himself.
"Don't be so tense big brother according to the letters Princess Cadence has sent about his progress in learning new magic spells and being determined to learn more knowledge plus he's building his strength up working out with the captain of the royal guard who is the co-leader of the" Luna responded,
Markarthus responded with a annoyed grunt after hearing one of his young legionnaires is being raised by another alicorn in the Heartland, not just any alicorn but she's Celestia's and Luna's niece and one is a captain of the Canterlot royal guard.
Meanwhile back in Baltimare the dragons and the wolven had fought even tougher that they drove everypony out of the trenches, there were many injuries but luckily nopony died, they set camp at the outskirts of Baltimare: many set sandbags as barricades and tents for shelter, the medical quarters was jam packed full of wounded ponies including captain Wolfgang who had several cuts from the battlefield and deep scratches from the wolven that pounced on her.
Cathstar along with Big Mac and a gamboge coloured Pegasus stallion and his mane and tail had two tones of moderate sapphire blue his armour was the same colour of his body
"hey Flash long time no see buddy" as she spoke, her and Flash Sentry hoof bumped
"I haven't seen you since military training"
"yeah totally I thought you wanted to be a royal guard seeing how when we were foals in school" Wolfgang then smirked as she put a hoof around Flash's shoulder
"you always wanted us to play royal guards when we were foals in school" Wolfgang giggled followed by Flash.
The four ponies walked out the medical quarters
"we've got to take back Baltimare no matter what" Cathstar said as she walked ahead to Wolfgang
"I know that but those dragons and wolven are more tougher than a tank" Wolfgang caught sight of a royal scribe flying towards her as he landed in front of her "which one of you mare's is Captain Wolfgang" the scribe said, Wolfgang stepped forward
"that would be me sir"
"I've got a letter here from Princess Celestia" the scribe pulled out a scroll out of his saddlebags after he gave Wolfgang the letter he took off back to Canterlot.
"What's does it say Wolfgang" Flash said curious on what's going on, as Wolfgang read the letter her eyes widened
"we'll be getting a new recruit who's from the Barrier Lands"
"it must be Aiden son of Vanguard clash and Rapidlight" Cathstar responded with her eyes widened
"according to Princess Celestia he's being raised by" Wolfgang gasped
"Princess Cadence and Shining Armour" "who's Princess Cadence and Shining Armour" Flash asked
"Cadence is the new Princess of the Crystal Empire and she's also Princess Celestia's and Princess Luna's niece and Shining Armour is the captain of the royal guard who he and Cadence's are both married.
Before Wolfgang could continue the camp was under attack as the scouts came back galloping and screaming out
"WE'RE UNDER ATTACK!!!!! WE'RE UNDER ATTACK" Wolfgang, Cathstar, Big Mac and Flash turned their heads and saw a horde of wolven running towards them along with dragons flying above them
"BATTLE STATIONS" Wolfgang yelled out and everypony grabbed their weapons and fired, Wolfgang jumped on the Gatling gun, firing at every wolven that came near.
As the battle continued, General Fireclaw grew frustrated
"what is wrong with these wolven... I gave them the most powerful armour ever" Fireclaw was then interrupted by his second-in-command who charged through the door
"sir we're losing more wolven and the ponies are moving forward shall we retreat" said Fireclaw's second-in-command,
"sweet holy fireballs" Fireclaw started to think until he caught a glimpse of the captain on the Gatling gun on his CCTV cameras, and moved a microphone towards him
"FIRE THE MISSILES" the dragons loaded the missiles and fired them at the same time, Wolfgang stopped and saw one missile heading towards her and her team "missile fire" Wolfgang shouted as everypony stopped what they were doing and to a safe distance.
Flash tripped over and a missile was heading straight for him until Wolfgang galloped as fast as her hooves could go and dived and casted a shield spell to cover her and Flash
"thanks" Flash said holding his hoof out to help her up, as Wolfgang took his hoof and went to stand
"hey no problem you know me always be there for my team" Wolfgang said as Flash and her galloped to a safe distance.
The battle went on for hours and hours it even started to rain so the ground became a mud bath, most ponies were tired and wet their armour part of their hooves were covered in mud, with the dragons, they were fine just flying above the ponies, they never shown signs of retreating since they captured Baltimare.
"I'm going ahead... stay back" Wolfgang yelled as she fired plasma lasers from her horn to the dragons
"I've got your back" Cathstar said as Wolfgang galloped towards the dragons as they flew down at maximum speed towards her, she continued to fire at them as the dragons fired their modified specialised laser weapons, Wolfgang then started to do teleportation manoeuvres, until General Fireclaw flew up and fired his weapon and the laser hit Wolfgang sending her flying back towards her team, Flash, Cathstar and Big Mac galloped towards her and Flash put his hoof around her shoulder and started nudging her with his other hoof
"come on Wolfgang get up... get up... GET THE MEDIC!!!" Flash shouted worried for his friend.
Meanwhile the dragons halted and return to their camp, Big Mac walked next to the medic pony, walking towards Wolfgang who was still lying unconscious and Cathstar and Flash Sentry stayed by their friends side if she ever came round, the medic used her unicorn telekinesis to levitate the captain in the air and over to the hospital bed, while the captain was getting medical attention Cathstar and Flash and the two legionaries Tocolt and Sharpshot was out on patrol with two explosive search dogs, Cathstar was worried about Wolfgang seeing how that laser shot did strong enough damage leaving her friend in a terrible painful state
"be careful guys you never know when the dragons might ambush us" "Don't worry hot stuff if those dragons show up we'll be ready for them"
"Sharpshot I told you not to call me that" Cathstar responded with a annoyed tone in her voice.
The four ponies split up together in pairs and took one search dog with them Cathstar was stuck with Sharpshot and his constant bragging and boasting as he was trying to woo her, but like any mare who wasn't interested she gave him a good slap in the face with her hoof.
Flash Sentry didn't really seem comfortable being around in Tocolt's company how he never spoke to anypony except Blademane and Sharpshot not really much Cathstar seeing how she was born in Equestria and not even from the Barrier Lands, but most of the time Tocolt was mostly on his own
"hey Tocolt" Flash said curiously
"Tocolt buddy" Flash spoke again still no answer from Tocolt, until Flash stepped on something with his armoured hoof as he looked down.
It was a frag mine beeping
"AH!! sweet Celestia" Flash said as he knew what was going to happen, the search dog barked repeatedly and Tocolt quickly turned his head and 'BANG]' the mine had gone off sending Flash flying backwards
"WORTHLESS CHOSEN!!!" Tocolt shouted as an army of dragons came flying towards them, Cathstar and Sharpshot quickly galloped towards the explosion and when they were close enough Tocolt was firing at the dragons then Cathstar's eyes were drawn to a wounded Flash Sentry on the ground, Cathstar gasped
"FLASH!!!... Sharpshot get everypony here looks like we're in for a long battle"
"yes ma'm" Sharpshot replied giving her the flirty eye, Cathstar quickly galloped towards Flash protecting him from any other harm, the dragons had them out numbered until Sharpshot came charging with the rest of the team behind him, Flash managed to get to his hooves but he was slouched down. Cathstar noticed this and went towards him
"I... I... I think... my my my... front leg is.. Broken" Flash tried to speak while wincing from the pain, Cathstar had to quickly think of something until she remembered some med X's that ease pain, Cathstar used her unicorn telekinetic and levitate a syringe
"this should help until" she said while she jabed the med X in Flash's broken leg, he let out a winc and a forced out laugh as he started to stand up and took his rifle off his back
"thanks" Flash replied with a hoof bump.
Everypony was getting exhausted from the battle lasting hours and hours these dragons weren't gonna let them take back Baltimare and General Fireclaw was making sure of it, back at the medic tent Wolfgang was laying in the hospital bed with bandages covering her wound, as she could sense a battle going on it she started cringe of the urge too get back out there, until she opened her eyes forcefully and jumped out of bed and galloped out the medic tent towards the battlefield.
Cathstar stood by Flash's side to give him cover since he was wounded, as Cathstar fired a shot from her weapon a plasma ball of magic also fired at the dragon killing him in one shot, Cathstar quickly turned her head and saw Wolfgang who galloped towards her and Flash as Wolfgang made a massive jump and landed in front of them armed with nothing but her combat spells.
The dragons started to fear at the site of what that plasma ball did to one of their soldiers as they glanced at the green goo, General Fireclaw was having none of it as he spat out fireballs at Wolfgang, Wolfgang had enough strength to do her teleportation manoeuvres to dodge the fireballs until her plasma ball and Fireclaw's fireball connected having a strong effect on Wolfgang's power as she became strong and used every single strength of her magic to blast the dragons back.
The ponies cheered as they galloped towards Wolfgang to praise her, after her heroic attack, but with her injuries still healing and the amount of energy she used left her to collapse with exhaustion, Big Mac galloped towards Wolfgang along with Cathstar and Flash Sentry, Mac lifted Wolfgang onto his back and took her back to the medical tent, Cathstar then ordered everypony to move forward back towards Baltimare to take it back.
What they did was attach the strong stallions like Big Mac to pull the wagons containing supplies, and the injured ponies from the medical quarters, the two legionnaires Tocolt and Blademane were up front followed by Cathstar, Flash Sentry and Big Mac who was pulling the wagon filled with the supplies and the Gatling gun in it.
The army of ponies made it back to Baltimare and placed their flag right next to the trench, and therefore the ponies celebrated after they took back Baltimare, Wolfgang was still recovering and Flash Sentry had his leg mended and, he took some fixer to stop the med x addiction side affect.
"This is audio diary 3 captain Wolfgang, we've managed too finally take back Baltimare, there are many injured but zero casualties, these dragons fought hard but we defeated them due to my necromancer training. Tomorrow me and my group will check on these shanty towns, something about my power and Fireclaw's power connected and I could see his plans in his mind, not sure if that was part of my necromancer spell "memorus" well it's been along week and I've still got some recovering to do, Wolfgang out."

Freeing Slaves
General Fireclaw lost the battle too keep Baltimare, and his plans of killing Celestia, Markarthus and Luna was still on a halt seeing how this unicorn captain was still breathing, but he couldn't help but do I slight chuckle thinking how he could use that unicorn to his advantages. He then shouted for his second-in-command.
"SAPPSCALE" Fireclaw's voice echoed in his battle airship base.
"Yes General" Sappscale said flying through the door
"what do you want sir" she saluted,
"ah good your here... I need you to take your squad too every shanty town and tribe villages in Equestria and capture many ponies stallions, mares and foals, and if any try to fight back" Fireclaw's voice became more sinister than normal
"crucify them and show them what happens when they disobey our orders" he growls.
Sappscale saluted and flew out of Fireclaw's quarters, and made her way to the barracks where her own squad of highly trained blood-thirsty pride dragons were
"ATTENTION!!!!" she shouted, they all turned their heads and faced Sappscale
"General Fireclaw has ordered us to find every little shanty town and tribe village in Equestria and capture these ponies so we can make them into slaves... and if they try and fight back" her voice becomes more sinister too
"we will crucify them" then her voice changed and became more determined and eager
"now let's get moving".
All the dragons in the squad cheered and grabbed their weapons and put their heavily plated bardon armour on and unfolded theirs wings, Sappscale took off to the skies first followed by the rest of them, they kept themselves hidden from everypony's sight, by activating their invisibility cloaking devices they had on them.
It was over 2 weeks and Wolfgang was back on her hooves fully recovered, as she stepped out that medical tent with her armour clean and repaired with a new upgrade; such as night vision too help with the patrol night watches.
"Look who's fully recovered" Cathstar exclaimed Wolfgang looked around until her vision caught a glimpse of her friends standing next to the trenches
"so what's our next task captain" Flash asked hovering above her, she liked that type of determination from her team and too hear it from her friends, made her feel comfortable knowing that someponies, that you know will stick by you every step of the way
"we'll be traveling to the shanty towns" Wolfgang replied. Cathstar and the others had confused looks on their faces as they didn't know much about shanty towns in Equestria, except for Big Mac who's made several pie deliveries to a couple of them.
The group followed Wolfgang to the commanders tent:
"Captain Wolfgang good to see your back on your hooves" the commander exclaimed, Wolfgang gave a little smirk
"you know me sir always straight back in the action" the group gathered round a virtual circular map of Equestria.
"So Wolfgang what was that magical experience aura when your power and Fireclaw's power connected" the commander asked with a raised eyebrow
"well sir when both our powers connected it was like I looked into his mind and I'm not sure it was one of my necromancer spells?..." The commander was intrigued since he never heard of spells that allows you too see through an opponents mind,
"so what was in Fireclaw's mind" the commander looking interested, Wolfgang thought with her fore hoof on her chin as she glanced from her horn to the map and then towards the commander and her friends, "instead I'll show you" Wolfgang smirked.
Her horn began a bright yellow gold colour as she concentrated on Fireclaw's mind and then aimed her horn to the map and before anypony's eyes was a image of Fireclaw's plans and what they saw left them jaw-droppingly shocked.
Wolfgang couldn't hold the spell any longer and the magical aura as she cringed and heard Fireclaw's laughter echoing in her ears and then the magical aura sucked back to her horn lifting Wolfgang in the air and then all the magic aura had disappeared Wolfgang dropped on the ground feeling dazed.
Cathstar held her hoof out and Wolfgang took her friends hoof and stood up on all four hooves
"thanks... what happened" Wolfgang asked still in a daze rubbing her head with a fore hoof
"well what we saw on the map Fireclaw wants slaves and wants to assassinate the..." the commander gasped before he continued
"THE PRINCESSES!!" he paused as everypony froze in shock except for Wolfgang who already knew so it wasn't that much of a shock.
"Wolfgang take your team here and rescue these slave ponies. Me and the rest of the team will fight through the Equestrian borders so the dragons can't break through" the commander exclaimed, Wolfgang and her team saluted and exited the commanders tent.
"We move out tonight so ready your gear" Wolfgang commanded, Big Mac and Flash went to the barracks to load up on their gear
"Wolfgang one thing I've noticed you seem to have some connection with Fireclaw care to explain" Cathstar wondered Wolfgang went serious as she stared furiously "you have no right to ask me that" Wolfgang quickly turned away and Fireclaw's laughter echoed in her ears as her eyes changed to Fireclaw's.
Meanwhile in Canterlot; Prince Markarthus was walking to the throne room still with the bandages wrapped around his still-injured body, he cringed as he used most of his strength to use his telekinesis to open the door, Princess Celestia was reading the letters from her niece Princess Cadance about Aiden's progress and she was listening to Wolfgang's third audio diary, her concentration was lost when Markarthus walked into the room "big brother I see your recovering well" Celestia said moving the letters aside with her telekinesis.
Markarthus walked towards Celestia
"what's the latest update on the war" he asked
"captain Wolfgang says that they've taken back Baltimare and I think the dragons might be planning something with the shanty Townes" she continued with a hint of concern in her voice.
Markarthus thought for a moment about what were the dragons planning to do with the ponies at the shanty Townes as he put his forehoof on his chin, Celestia was also thinking the same thing until Markarthus broke the silence
"I think Fireclaw's planning to do something dark with those shanty ponies" then he was interrupted.
Celestia's horn was glowing and she then pointed her horn towards the middle of the room, and an image of Captain Wolfgang (without her helmet) appeared.
"Captain Wolfgang what seems to be the problem" Celestia asked
"good afternoon Princess" she turns to Markarthus and saluted and nodded "Prince Markarthus... anyway I trust you've listened to my third audio log and I wonder if you've had a past experience with General Fireclaw because when I was able to look into his mind." Wolfgang was cut off by Markarthus
"HE KILLED OUR PARENTS!!!." Wolfgang, even though she was just an image she still went on her knees.
"Ok... and now he wants to assassinate you two and Princess Luna"
"I wonder why he hasn't attempted that yet" Celestia wondered, Wolfgang's head lowered down as she sighed
"I think it's something to do with me" Wolfgang said with cringe on her face.
Celestia and Markarthus both had puzzled looks on their faces on what Wolfgang was saying, Wolfgang heard Cathstar's and Flash's voice as she turned her and then face the royal siblings
"I'm sorry I can't answer any of your questions I have to go" Wolfgang saluted and her magic started to fade away, Celestia was concerned
"no captain Wolfgang wait" she called out but it was to late the image already faded, all Celestia started to feel was worry as she began to tremble on how this war has gotten more risky and dangerous.
Wolfgang walked out of her tent and Cathstar, Flash, Big Mac and one more, it was Sharpshot the other legionnaire who keeps trying to woo Cathstar over
"Sharpshot what you doing over here private" Wolfgang said authority in her voice, Sharpshot walked forward and gestured with his hoof so he could talk to captain Wolfgang in private.
Wolfgang raised an eyebrow but was interested on what he had to say as she walked to the right with Sharpshot walking beside her
"what is it Sharpshot" she responded with a raised eyebrow still, Sharpshot gulped and sighed
"I'd like to join your little team" he was interrupted by Wolfgang
"this isn't because you want to get close with Cathstar" Wolfgang interrupted with a smirk.
Sharpshot turned as red as Wolfgang's mane and tail and cringed from the thought his feelings for Cathstar was noticed, he knew he couldn't lie in front of the captain so he gulped and sighed
"hmm yeah it's only because I looked out for her at the Barrier lands" Wolfgang put her forehoof on her chin and thought
"alright" she then whispers something in Sharpshot's ear
"and if she does warm up to you" she looks left and right so no-pony could hear "just keep the kissing between you two."
So after that little talk with Sharpshot, Wolfgang and her little team traveled to the first Shanty Town.
Sappscale and her squad of blood-thirsty pride dragons first raided a pony tribe village and captured all the mares and foals but all the stallions were crucified and burned and the village was burnt to the ground. When Wolfgang and her team made it to the tribe village, they were horrified because they didn't get there quicker.
"The dragons they've been here" Wolfgang said, Big Mac and Flash looked even more horrified at the sight of the stallions crucified and burned. Wolfgang used her magic to lift the tipi tents up and a mare that looked the same age as Wolfgang, jumped into her forehooves as she held Wolfgang tighter
"oh please help me... Oh please" said the mare tears flowing down her face, Wolfgang took her helmet off with her magic and used her forehoof and put it on the mare's chin as they met in eye level
"it's ok me and my team will rescue the remaining ponies of your tribe... it's gonna be ok" Wolfgang said reassuringly.
The mare felt tears of happiness and jumped over Wolfgang and was on top of her hugging and kissing her on the cheek, Wolfgang found it really uncomfortable seeing a mare on top of her kissing her as she cringed at this contact, Wolfgang then used her front hooves to push the mare off her "alright that's enough"she shouts.
The mare gets off Wolfgang as Flash helps her up
"thanks..." she then turns her attention back to the mare
"do you know which way the dragons went" she responds comforting the mare, the mare wiped the tears from her face and sniffed to clear her tears away
"the dragon who led the team of dragons said something about a factory" she was interrupted by Flash
"of course the rainbow factory the most darkest evilest place ever"
"isn't that place just an urban myth" Mac exclaimed
"no it's not... but didn't Pegasi used to work at that place" Cathstar spoke "but wasn't that factory destroyed years ago" Wolfgang exclaimed
"so the dragons must of rebuilt it and want slaves to work in slave labour in there" Sharpshot responded then Wolfgang's eyes shrunk as she thought in shock and then frowned in fury and pride
"we must save these ponies and destroy that factory."
So Wolfgang and her team followed a trail of blood hoof prints of the captured ponies which lead them to the shanty towns and more ponies were crucified and burned, and it looked like everypony was taken
"I've been meaning to ask Wolfgang but why are these pony hoof prints covered in blood" Flash asked with confusion and with a bit of concern, Wolfgang's head turned upwards towards Flash as they continued walking "the dragons must of beaten" Wolfgang was interrupted by laser fire
"TAKE COVER!!! DRAGON ATTACK!!!" Cathstar shouted Wolfgang and Cathstar pulled out their assault rifles and Big Mac, Flash and Sharpshot loaded their battle saddles and fired at the dragons.
"These dragons aren't like the dragons we've fought before" Flash said firing and dodging from the laser fire, Wolfgang was about to answer when a laser was about to struck her but managed to cast a shield spell and as soon as the laser hit the force field, it bounced back and ended hitting the dragon turning into a pile of ash.
Wolfgang took cover so she could think, then just from her thoughts her horn began to glow as she let out a smirk.
Wolfgang took several deep breaths and bursted out of cover and her horn glowed brighter with magic and turned into a golden yellow lightening aura, and aimed her horn towards the dragons, but the dragons were quicker to counter attack by connecting their hands and dark magic flowed around and the dark magic connected with Wolfgang's lightening magical aura everypony's faces showed a facial expression of breath taking shockness as it was intense whether Wolfgang was going to be strong enough to over power 15 dragons dark magic.
The moment was to intense, Wolfgang used all her strength to fight against the dragons combined dark magic, but neither did any of them know that the dark magic was putting a curse on Wolfgang as it affected her magic and made her stronger and stronger, her magic from her horn started glow brighter and then flames came out of her eyes as the magical aura lifted her of her hooves and she burst open her eyes and they were glowing white and she aimed her horn at the dragons and blasted them to oblivion.
Wolfgang gently flowed down an knocked unconscious as the dark magic curse to the energy out of her, Cathstar and Big Mac trotted up to catch her
"is she alright" said a very worried Cathstar stroking her best friends mane, and then suddenly before anypony could say anything Wolfgang's right eye forcefully opened, but something was different.
The pupil of her eye was a slit like a dragons eye
"uh Wolfgang are you ok" Flash spoke extending his hoof, Wolfgang took his hoof and stood up and shook her head repeatedly to clear her vision and her horn sparked with lightening flowing around, she didn't respond to Flash's concern so all she replied with was a frown and a simple nod.
Cathstar was never the worrying type but Wolfgang was acting strange every time one of the team was trying to speak to her but all she would reply with was a sinister "what" as she frowned, the curse dark dragon magic was still absorbing itself within her very soul making her stronger and more powerful.
More of Fireclaw's Scalefangers appeared and Wolfgang used her cursed magic and disintegrated them with one blast from her horn, after the dust cleared an earth pony stallion was still alive, so Wolfgang galloped towards the cross where the stallion was crucified and she used her magic to set him free and as soon as the ropes and nails were off he dropped to the ground
"wait a second" Mac responded with wide eyes
"I know this stallion... it's Caramel he lives in Ponyville, he's the one me and mah sister had a go at on Winter Wrap up day" Mac continued,
Wolfgang kneeled to the stallion and placed her fore hoof on his chin facing the stallion eye to eye,
"where did the dragons take them" Wolfgang asks.
The stallion trembled still in shock that he was still alive, when he gazed into Wolfgang's gold wolf coloured eyes, his bruised eyelids opened as he winced only opening them half way looking at the beauty of the mare in front of him "they came... out of know where"said the stallion feeling weak
"the... they... went that way" the stallion pointed with his hoof while trying to regain his strength.
Wolfgang with her cursed magic taking over her she wanted to just leave him but inside her she some feelings for this stallion, she was deep in thought looking at the to go and at the stallion and then she looked back at her friends
"you guys go on... I'll catch up" Wolfgang exclaimed smiling while friends continued on, Wolfgang then levitated the stallion onto her back and used her unicorn teleportation to travel to Ponyville.
As she placed the stallion on her back then her horn glowed as she started to teleport to Ponyville, as she got there it was dark still which was good because she didn't want to attract everypony's attention her dragon eye began to illuminate in the dark giving her night vision, she turned her head to face the stallion on her back
"ok which one is your house" the stallion slowly lifted his head and tried to open his eyes wide enough to see
"it's it's... it's th... the one second houses next to Caro... Carousel Boutique" he said feeling drowsy from his injuries and exhaustion, Wolfgang quickly trotted up to his house and as she reached it she used her unicorn telekinesis to levitate herself up and as she reached the top window she levitated it open and then she levitated the stallion off her back onto his bed, but as soon as he makes contact on his bed he jumps up and looks at Wolfgang
"thank you!... what is your" he stopped his sentence seeing Wolfgang had already disappeared.
The team reached the factory and what they saw made them cringe and ready to vomit, the ponies were chained carrying heavy objects and being wimped
"I'm not so sure about this" Flash concerned
"what! your not saying your... chicken are you" Sharpshot replied with a smirk, Flash's eyes widened and then he turned his head and frown meeting eye level with Sharpshot
"nopony calls me chicken" he said while a yellow flash of light appeared and Wolfgang appeared out of it.
Wolfgang walked forward and looked at the factory and all the ponies that were captured this made her fill up with rage her nostrils were flaring, her eyes squinted showing her anger and then she took a deep breath and all the team huddled and thought of a plan
"can't we just storm the place and go in guns blazing" Sharpshot exclaimed
"are you mad there's only 5 of us and an army of heavily armed dragons" Cathstar she spoke with a bit of shock from Sharpshot's plan
"we need too stealthily sneak in and take the dragons by surprise"
"hmm"Wolfgang put her foreleg on her chin thinking
"you make a good point Cathstar... we could sneak in but" her eyes are drawn to the Big Mac's bag full of explosives, her eyes began to widen
"I'VE GOT IT!!!" Wolfgang shouted alerting every dragon to find out who made that loud commotion
"hide quick" Flash yelled out quietly.
The team hid in bushes and Flash flew up in a overgrown tree,
"check over there" said one of the dragons pointing at the direction, two pride dragon veterans flew towards the area and one pointed his laser rifle in the bush where Wolfgang was hiding the muzzle of the weapon was an inch closer to her muzzle, Cathstar, Flash and Big Mac had terrified looks on there faces, Wolfgang gently smirked and used her magic to grab the weapon and turned it around so it faced the dragon and then she quickly fired at both of them and the two dragons turned into piles of smoking ash.
Wolfgang looked at her team and did a sought of smile with a smirk
"what? I know every combat trick in every way" they all regrouped, and as Wolfgang was about to speak with her unicorn telekinesis to levitate the C4 out of Big Mac's explosive bag, Cathstar's eyes widened where Sharpshot's was an excited grin
"were gonna blow up" Sharpshot responded with his excited look
"yes but were gonna do it stealthily... so here's my plan" Wolfgang used her magic to do a computerised blueprint plan
"Flash you and Sharpshot will sneak into the through the vents and plant the C4 near generators or fuel tanks something flammable and it has to make the whole factory go boom!!... now me, Big Mac and Cathstar will free these ponies and we'll also plant a few C4 as well." For Equestria" Wolfgang finally said then the four ponies all said in unison
"For Equestria ."
It was easy for Flash seeing how he was a Pegasus he flew up to the roof with ease while Sharpshot had to climb, it would of been easy for him if he knew teleportation spells. Flash looked down and saw Sharpshot climbing so he flew down to lend him a hoof
"did you need some help" Flash asked hovering next to him, Sharpshot didn't make a sound and just frowned as he started to jumping up on ledges, balconies and swinging on the metal bars and as Sharpshot reached the roof and he then smirked, Flash looked up and then continued to fly back up.
"there's only three vents" they hoof bumped "you take one and I'll take one" Sharpshot respond with a little nod and dive into the third one, Flash flew into the first one, and started planting the C4.
At the end of the vent Sharpshot was in, he found himself in the worst possible place, in General Fireclaw's office and his eyes caught a sight gruesome at the window, the dragons took the ponies and shaved them from their manes and put thorns on top of there heads and gave them a burn mark of a dragon symbol on their flanks next to their cutie marks.
"I've seen some sights but this is by far the worst gruesome sight" he said in shock, Sharpshot was suddenly cut short by the door handle jiggling, as it made him jump and look many directions trying to find somewhere to hide, the door was a quarter open so Sharpshot quickly dived under a desk, as Fireclaw entered the room furiously and sat in his chair and turned around, which gave Sharpshot a chance to get out without being seen.
Wolfgang, Cathstar and Big Mac sneaked in through a herd of slaves and quickly sneaked to hide under large machinery and planted C4 on the generators, two young fillies stared at the trio with a mixture of shock and excitement, Wolfgang put her hoof to her mouth and quietly shhed, they nodded in response with a smile and went to tell the others but one of the "Scalefangers" had seen the little trio and sounded the alarm by the wrist devices.
Which alerted the lighting system had caught sight of them and General Fireclaw stormed out of his office to the control panel and activate the "grabber claws ".
Wolfgang and Cathstar both used their magic to try and grab the mechanical claws to control them, and wrap them around the dragons until Sappscale flew at Wolfgang tackling her to the edge of the platform, Cathstar quickly turned her and gasped with shock as she went to gallop to save her friend but the grabber claw caught her just before she went, Sharpshot had just finished planting his C4 as he caught sight of Cathstar.
Big Mac threw his trench knives at Sappscale as she was about to dig her claws into Wolfgang's hooves as she was trying to hang on until one of the trench knives hit Sappscale and she let go, Wolfgang was about teleport until Flash flew towards her and catches his friend and set her on the ground.
Flash fired his battle saddle at the oncoming dragons along with Big Mac while Wolfgang leaped from machine to machine towards General Fireclaw
"Dracony I see" Wolfgang seemed confused on what he said
"what are talking about reptile" Fireclaw fires a fireball, Wolfgang double backflips to dodge Fireclaw's attack and fire's a beam of magic from her horn to her hoof at Fireclaw "you possess cursed dragon magic... which gives you the presence of a dragon but still a pony" Fireclaw speaks with a hint of a amusement.
Sharpshot uses his grappling hook to hang on to the other railing on the other side of the factory, so he swings down and his horn begins to glow and he fires at the grabber claw which begin disintegrate then just before Cathstar was about to fall, Sharpshot grabbed just in time as they swung to the other side.
"If you think saving my life will get me to like you your dead wrong" Cathstar exclaimed with a smirk then she went to Flash and Big Mac in the fight, Sharpshot gives a smirk of his own and came face to face with Sappscale
"bring it on scaly" he said with a frown, Sappscale fired her laser rifle as Sharpshot dodges the laser and fires his battle saddle.
Wolfgang was knocked down with rage filling up inside her as she caught a glimpse of her friends outnumbered, Fireclaw summoned a lightening sword from his magic as it flows down to his hands and he charged at Wolfgang until her horn glowed red and started spreading around the whole factory
"GET THE SLAVES OUT!!!" Wolfgang yells through headset as the magic aura starts destroying all the machinery and setting off the C4.
Big Mac bucks the wall and with his strength he creates a big hole in the wall
"EVERYPONY!!! GO MAKE TO YOUR TOWNS AND VILLAGES!!!" Cathstar shouts to all the slave ponies as they gallop back to their homes, while she and the three stallions wait for Wolfgang with worry on their faces, as the factory blew up and smoke clouding around the area Wolfgang just makes it out of the exploding building as she lands 20 metres away from her friends, they gallop towards her seeing her amour smoking.
She begins to stand up still feeling a little dazed as she begins to wobble and nearly falling to the ground until Cathstar catches her with her magic and levitates onto Big Mac's back "what is it with you being the big hero here" Cathstar smirked the team traveled back to base
"hey... who got cursed dragon magic" Wolfgang said jokingly as she was about faint.
"This is audio dairy 4 captain Wolfgang me and my team had rescued the ponies who were being kept for slavery in a place called the "Rainbow Factory" what me and my team saw was to gruesome and sick the ponies were shaved and were given burn marks of a dragon symbol and they were being wimped as they worked and not to mention ,Fireclaw noticed about my cursed dragon magic which makes me quick to anger more powerful makes me have the presence of a dragon.
Well it's been a long week and I've got night duty tonight, this is audio dairy 4 Wolfgang out."

Nightmares
Wolfgang hadn't been getting any sleep for weeks since her team got back from freeing those slave ponies, she went to the medic about it and all the nurse said was that it could be a case of insomnia.
Which is impossible since Wolfgang never had any problems with insomnia, but since then she's been having visions and nightmares, and what's even strange General Fireclaw has been appearing in all of them.
"I'm telling you now!!! nurse Redheart I don't have problems with insomnia" Wolfgang said in an annoyed tone
"I'm sorry captain Wolfgang but there's no such thing as something entering nightmares" Redheart replied, Wolfgang stormed out in fury, Flash stood in front of her with a worried look on his face
"I'm guessing another trip to medical didn't go well" Flash spoke with a hint of concern in his voice
"I don't want to talk about it... Let's just go to Night watch duty" Wolfgang said sounding a bit annoyed, Flash didn't like to see his friend like this but he was to scared to say anything due to Wolfgang's new attitude.
But he knew inside him he had to say something, he just had to, so took a deep breath and let out a deep sigh
"uh Wolfgang..." Wolfgang simply froze as she heard her name and turned her head to face Flash behind her
"what is it" she says sternly "are you sure you should be on night watch because you haven't had any sleep for weeks and..." he was cut off by Wolfgang who had her hoof on his mouth
"you know I can't even sleep without having these nightmares about Fireclaw wanting me to join him" she spoke after seeing a hallucination of Fireclaw next to Flash doing a evil smirk on his face.
Wolfgang gasped and her horn glowed as rage was going through her like an evil spirit evolving inside her, Flash quickly noticed the raging look on Wolfgang's face and looked around to see what she was glaring at
"huh Wolfgang?... Uh what are you looking at?" Flash said with hints of concern and confusion in his voice, Wolfgang looked away not even meeting his gaze
"since that day you had that magical dragon connection thing" he asked gesturing with his fore hooves.
Wolfgang's horn began twinkling with magic "who in hell is contacting me" she murmurs "while I'm taking care of some business Sharpshot can do night watch with you" Wolfgang said as she walked to her captain's quarters, Flash couldn't say anything but he thought will his friend change back to the way she was.
Wolfgang entered her tent and pointed her horn to the circler digital map in middle of the quarters and the beam of magic took the shape of the dark grey alicorn stallion Prince Markarthus
"Prince Markarthus... how did you get my communication coordinates" Wolfgang asked suspiciously, before he could speak out a sentence he noticed something different about Wolfgang, she didn't seem to have that pony presence, no it felt like he was in the presence of a dragon, which sets his teeth on edge thinking it could be one of the dragons in disguise.
"First captain Wolfgang you can tell me why I can sense your presence as a dragon" he asked curiously, something inside Wolfgang made her feel angry like she wanted to show her true power at this grouchy Prince, a shame he was only a magical hologram, she could go through all kinds of dragon magic to show the Prince real pain.
Then all of a sudden she snapped out of it and begin to speak in her authoritatively tone
"it's complicated sir" she replied, Markarthus was still suspicious but he played along
"is that so then okay well back down to business... when you have young Aiden Frostfire clash on your team, show him the place he grew up so he still knows who he really is" he said in a serious tone
"will do your highness will do" Wolfgang responded with a salute! Wolfgang started to feel tired, like all that energy from her magic was draining her and before she could even begin her first step and she collapsed to the ground.
As Wolfgang awoke she noticed something strange, as she opened the entrance of her tent everything looked... destroyed, the tents were burnt and pony corpses littered the ground like dead vermin and as she kept walking on she passed several locations with the same problem Ponyville's houses were burnt and everypony were either dead on the ground or crucified.
Her heart sank when she saw 6 mares; two unicorns, two earth ponies and two Pegasi, then her eyes widened
"the bearers of the elements of harmony" she spoke quietly in shock, she quickly looked away until
"I know it is quite a sight" Wolfgang pricked up and turned her head and notice
"Princess Luna?!" she says trotting towards her and then bows "this has to be a dream... It just has to be??!!" Wolfgang's looking at all different directions
"you are right Wolfgang... but it's not just Ponyville" after she said that Luna lifted her left forehoof and stomped it on the ground and the location changed to Canterlot, Cloudsdale, Fillydelphia, Appleloosa, Hoofington, Baltimare, the Crystal Empire, Manehatten, Saddle Arabia, Trottingham and even San Franciscolt.
Wolfgang couldn't believe what she saw and she felt like was going to be sick, she puts her head down as she spoke
"is this what Equestria would be like if I joined Fireclaw" Luna lifted Wolfgang's chin with her forehoof and looked deep in the possessed unicorns eyes and replied with a simple nod.
Wolfgang blinked away as a tear was flowing down her face as she forcefully open her eyes and looked back at her surroundings
"I won't let this happen Princess Luna" she then turned her head back to the Princess of the night "if Fireclaw thinks he can persuade me he's got another thing coming" Wolfgang boldly spoke.
Luna was about to speak until the scenery began to crack as wind currents started picking up and she began to sink in somewhat quicksand
"Princess Luna!!!" Wolfgang galloped as fast as she could and managed to catch Luna by her forehooves, she used all her strength to pull Luna out, and then he appeared.
"Captain Wolfgang!!!" Fireclaw announced as a beam of light surrounded Princess Luna and her, Wolfgang looked up and noticed the dark blue cyborg dragon and glared with aggression in her eyes as her horn glowed bright as she fired the beam of magic at Fireclaw.
Fireclaw splits himself in two as the beam of magic traveled forward without hitting anything and his head rejoined up and then summoned from his mechanical claw a lime green yellow fire surrounded the unicorn and alicorn "ah Princess Luna" he then sniffs the air smelling her scent
"funny I can still smell the stench of Nightmare moon on you" he smirked with a growl in his voice
"save your breath thou I do not choose that path anymore" she frowned, while Fireclaw was distracted Wolfgang's horn absorbed the fire and fired it at Fireclaw blasting him back.
"You seem to control that dragon magic well for only a unicorn"
"it feels like it gets easier" Wolfgang replied boldly with a smile, her glimpse turned to the distance and saw the dragon flying towards them, Wolfgang quickly turned her head back to Luna
"your highness... GET OUT OF MY DREAM AND REPORT THIS TO CELESTIA AND MARKARTHUS!!!" Wolfgang yelled, Luna unfolded her wings quickly and a swirling portal appeared in the moon and she quickly flew in.
"How sweet of you captain sacrificing yourself to save the princess"
"You twisted scaled lizard" Wolfgang beams a bolt of lightening from her horn and Fireclaw disappeared before the lightening hit him.
The dust had cleared and Wolfgang was still dreaming, her dream self was intense watching every area, for where Fireclaw could be hiding, and after a few hours and no sign of him.
But she didn't give up as she continued walking into what looked like a tunnel, and being the curious type she is, she went in and what she saw was flashbacks from her own past, from the day she got her cutie mark to the day she ran away from home, and a dark orange earth pony stallion with a golden lightening bolt on his flank, who was her coltfriend she left back in San Franciscolt.
Wolfgang's heart had sank when she saw her teenage crush "Goldenbolt" she said quietly trying to force her words out from the shock, she then walked slowly to the image and stopped in front of him and lifted up her forehoof to her lips and placed it on his cheek
"I'm sorry" she says remorsefully.
Wolfgang continued walking on until her ears were twitching at a sound that sounded like somepony, a silhouette of a pony, Wolfgang could tell it was a mare due to it's voice
"you can oh you can paint with all the colours " the mare sang coming closely to Wolfgang, the mare was that same native tribe pony who kept kissing her, the mare put her forehoof on the captains cheek continuing to sing "of wind " she sang, Wolfgang was creeped out as to why was this mare flirty towards her.
Wolfgang didn't pay any attention to this mare and continued walking on not even giving a glance to her, and the native tribe mare disappeared like dust, the images of her past still remained and the light began to dim, as Wolfgang looked at all these images of her past her cursed dragon side was trying resist the treasured memories but Wolfgang couldn't resist the urge to cry.
Cathstar awoke from her nightly slumber in the barracks and came into the captain quarters
"Wolfgang... Wolfgang are you in here?" she'd said before stopping dead at the sight of sleeping Wolfgang tossing, turning and breathing heavily, so Cathstar knelt down and started nudging Wolfgang and calling her name.
Meanwhile back in Wolfgang's dream the scenery was shaking like there was an earthquake, then she heard Cathstar's voice "Wolfgang... Wolfgang wake up... come on Wolfgang wake up" then her dream self begins to black out, and she forcefully wakes up.
"Wolfgang! are you alright" Cathstar said while holding her hoof out to help her friend up, Wolfgang stood up, dusting herself off from sleeping on the floor, Cathstar looked deep into
Wolfgang's eyes and she gasped a little
"you had that dream again didn't you" Wolfgang's eyes widened and began to frown
"it's none of your business" Wolfgang said sternly, Wolfgang was about to speak until she was interrupted by Cathstar
"Wolfgang I know you to well to fall for that lie" she puts a hoof on her friends shoulder, "please Wolfgang I'm your best friend" Cathstar spoke with concern.
Wolfgang sighs and slowly looks back at her foalhood friend
"can you keep a secret" Cathstar smiled and gently nodded, even though her foalhood was a full grown mare she still saw the filly she played with at school and all those weekends they used to play in the park, all those memories flashed in Wolfgang's mind, she quickly snapped out of it and shook her head repeatedly,
"Fireclaw showed my memories from my past" she spoke, Cathstar's eyes widened
"he probably wanted to turn them into bad memories… if he wanted you to be on his side he want you to think horrid bad things to torment you" she then hugs her friend tightly
"don't forget Wolfgang you've got friends who will stick with you not matter what" Cathstar whispers.
Wolfgang smiles looks towards her bed and then back to Cathstar
"why don't you take over my duties" she begins to yawn
"I haven't slept in a couple of weeks and I'm knackered" she walks towards her bed falls down on it snoring away, Cathstar giggles and makes her way out of the captain quarters.
Back in Wolfgang's dream everything was quiet and it gave her a time to think. (a song is playing Wolfgang's Descent)

Meanwhile Fireclaw had wrapped Wolfgang in black tentacles really tight
"now captain I can see the wonderful future when everypony will see us holding the three alicorn siblings… everypony will respect us" Fireclaw was interrupted
"no Fireclaw they'll fear us and thats not what want" Wolfgang forcefully says as her horn glowed and the tentacles began to melt by the magic, she fell to the floor and Fireclaw summoned a green and black flame from his mechanical claw and fired it at the unicorn captain, Wolfgang quickly dodged as the flame hit the ground where she stood, her horn glowed again "incedros" she yelled out and a golden yellow flame beamed out and aimed it at Fireclaw.
The cyborg dragon summoned a dark green lightening spell from his mechanical claw and fired it at the same time as Wolfgang.
Both of their magics connected and they both tried to out match the other, Wolfgang with just being an ordinary unicorn was hard enough, but what kept her going was all the happiest memories of her foalhood back in her hometown and her friends who are fighting along side her in this war, and the day she was called in to meet the princesses to assist with fighting this oncoming war.
With all those great memories her magic felt like it was getting stronger just seeing the ponies she cared about in her mind made her smile inside, she then burst opened her eyes and they were glowing white and the magic from her horn was beating Fireclaw's.
Fireclaw tried to force it towards the unicorn mare but it was too strong and blasted him backward to the dark midnight sky and tore a hole in the dream world, then that hole that Fireclaw made started absorbing everything threw like a black hole, Wolfgang tried to hold on to something but the wind current was to fast and absorbed her inside.
"AHHH!!! ".
She got up from her bed screaming and fell out of bed, landing on her flank with a hard flump , Flash heard the loud commotion and trotted into the captain's quarters and saw Wolfgang on the floor "Wolfgang are you ok" he said with a hint of concern.
Wolfgang shook her head to clear her head and looked up and saw Flash with a concern look on his face,
"I'm fine Flash I'm fine" she said rubbing her eyes.
Then all of a sudden her she realised something as her eyes busted right open
"I'm fine... I don't feel dragonish" she then turns to Flash
"can you sense a dragon presence in me" Flash looked at Wolfgang and sniffed and then he stopped
"yeah?... but it looks like your in proper control" Flash confused a bit, "then I am fine tell Cathstar, Big Mac and Sharpshot that I'm fine and...
" She paused for a bit when noticed a letter from Princess Celestia
"can you give me minute" Flash turned around and exited her quarters,
Wolfgang used her unicorn telekinesis and opened the letter and started reading.
Dear Captain Wolfgang
I am writing to you about your new recruit that would be joining you tomorrow, Aiden Frostfire clash in the Crystal Empire in the care of my niece Princess Cadence, Markarthus told me that young Barrier Lands ponies have quick growing lifespans so by tomorrow the young colt shall be 18 which will mean he'll be legal to join your army.
But promise that you'll let him keep in touch with Princess Cadence and Shining Armour, knowing all the time they've spent looking after him and well you know the rest.

Silence filled the quarters, as she put the letter in a footlocker underneath her bed and got out another audio recorder.
This is audio diary 5 Captain Wolfgang I've just woken up from my nightmare, Fireclaw showed me some graphic and horrible sights if I were to join him but I declined his evil offer as fought him I could think of all the happy memories which filled me with power and strength so I could defeat him and now, I still have the curse but instead of it controlling me I'm controlling it.

It's hard to leave the ones you care about
It's been almost a few months since the war first began and it was getting rough for the ponies who were fighting in it. Everyday they would be in the trenches and with the Pegasi weather team to scared enough to do their weather duty anyway near where the battles were, and the weather was nothing but endless heavy rain and thunderstorms.
The trenches was like a mud bath as it was up to the ponies knees, most of the ponies were in the medical facility due to having a case of trench hoof, where their hoofs were covered in scabs and they swelled up. Big Mac was feeling homesick thinking about his family he left back in Ponyville, whenever he felt like this he always pulled out his locket with a picture of his two sisters, and his granny who was nearing the time for her death bed, he even thought will he survive through this war to go back home to them he could only prayer for that to happen.
Cathstar never thought she'd be back in Equestria or the Heartland as what the Barrier Lands ponies always used to call it, speaking about Barrier Lands ponies one was always by her side and even if she didn't like Sharpshot in that way, well she did but she didn't want Sharpshot to know. But the problem that was keeping her not to tell him was the fact they were in a war, one of them could die any day and if they were to fall in love and if one of them died the other wouldn't be able to take the distress of the loss.
Flash Sentry a colt born in San Franciscolt; raised by his mother and father, his mother a Pegasus mare and his father was also a Pegasus.
Then there was Flash's little brother who was born an earth pony, who always looked up to him and ever since Flash was assigned to join the war his little brother would always prayer for him every night before he went to bed in hope that his big brother would someday return home.
Though Flash had dreams he wanted to fore fill like being part of the royal guard, ever since he was a colt that's all he ever wanted so he could support and protect his family and make his little brother proud.
And Wolfgang a mare who's not even afraid to stare death in the face, a mare who would sacrifice herself to save the ponies she cared about, after her battle with Fireclaw in her last nightmare, she started to feel like her old self again and not so angry all the time and that she still processes the dragon curse but has learned how to control it and all she had to do was to think about the ponies she cared about, but what bothered her the most was that memory tunnel in her dream, that Fireclaw had summoned and that one vision had her fourteen year old self and a stallion with a dark orange coat with a greyish blue mane and tail with light green streak same colour as his eyes.
Goldenbolt that was his name, he was her coltfriend, the only colt in her school who understood her, that was when Cathstar had left Equestria and Wolfgang felt alone without her only friend who was like a sister to her, and Flash had been sent to the young royal guard academy, which was an even more reason why she felt so alone at high school, and if it wasn't for Goldenbolt who came into her life which gave her some joy in life and made her not so alone.
Meanwhile at the trenches the remaining ponies who were still fighting were mounting machine guns and started producing heavy fire at the dragons and two Pegasi from the flight group, private Moonglider and private Blizzard Storm were heavy weapon troopers and carried rocket launchers and used them to draw the dragons out.
Captain Wolfgang lead the squad firing the machine guns and Sargent Duskstar lead the rest of the infantry squads, and ordered them to retreat back to let the machine gunners on the front, Wolfgang ordered the unicorns who were part of the squad to use their magic as defence against the dragons firepower.
Wolfgang went into deep thought that tomorrow this young Aiden who's from the Barrier Lands is going to join her army fighting in this war, even Wolfgang herself found that kind of harsh, but she knew in her head it had to be done.
The dragons had many casualties but they still fought furiously without taking notice that half of they're battalion had been butchered, the ponies dodged several grenade throws from the dragons but didn't see the mini nuclear bomb catapult and many ponies were either dead or badly injured.
Cathstar got hit in the explosion and her right hind leg was badly injured and she was badly losing a lot of blood, Sharpshot galloped towards her and lifted her on his back with his magic and quickly galloped towards the medical quarters, and the medical staff looked in shock on how much blood that was gushing out they thought private Sharpshot was injured as well but he was all clear. All the medics trotted to the bed where Cathstar lay, as a really worried Sharpshot sat by her bed side holding her right fore hoof
"excuse me private your gonna have to move" one of the medic's said getting to tend to Cathstar's wound, then out of no where Wolfgang, Flash and Big Mac came galloping in, Wolfgang trotted towards Sharpshot and put a hoof on his armoured shoulder
"hey she's a fighter" she spoke reassuringly with a hint of worry, then the chief medic doctor Trotters walked in out of his office, and he wasn't the friendliest of medic's Blademane and Tocolt thought he was Redbrands long lost chosen brother.
"Get these whimpering colts out of the medical quarters Captain Wolfgang!!!" Yelled the grumpy doctor, Wolfgang looked at a unconscious Cathstar and then glared at the doctor
Trotters and turned to the three stallions next to her
"you heard him guys" she gestures with her hoof to the exit of the tent, so they did but Sharpshot never took his eye off the mare he always had feelings for.
Wolfgang walked up to Cathstar's bedside and leaned to her ear
"I know your strong Cathstar stay strong I know you can" she whispered in her ear and she slowly walked out the quarters just hoping that her best friend will pull through.
It was 5:00 next Wednesday morning, Cathstar a woke from her coma and noticed on her hind right leg was bandaged and in a splint
"ah!" She winced, she used her magic to light the candle on her bedside table and as she finished lighting the candle she noticed a dark mustard coloured unicorn stallion sleeping with him sitting next to her bedside with his head on her bed, Cathstar couldn't help but smile but there was a slight blush on her face as she looked at the stallion.
She always had feelings for Sharpshot ever since she first came to the Barrier Lands, she then remembered what captain Nightcanter always said
"better claim him before anypony else does ." Cathstar had another thought she couldn't let her heart rule her head because of being in a war, so she thought of going back to sleep for it might ease her mind a bit.
By the time she woke up, she was surrounded by her friends
"hey sleepy head how you feeling" Cathstar recognised that tomboyish deep girlie voice as Wolfgang's
"I'm feeling better wh... what happened" she responded while rubbing her eyes with a hoof
"you gave us a right good scare back there" Flash replied
"I never knew the dragons had that type of firepower... But I'm glad your ok" Wolfgang spoke after Flash.
Cathstar had rested in the medical quarters, her friends would always visit if they could, accept only one who was still traumatised from that day, but he managed to see her but was unable to look her in the eye
"hey" Cathstar responded, Sharpshot didn't say a word he couldn't even look her in the eye, Cathstar was confused why he wouldn't look or speak so she carefully turned to get out of the bed and put fore hooves around Sharpshot and hugged him.
Sharpshot pricked up and noticed Cathstar wasn't in the hospital bed and notice she was hugging him
"thank you for saving me" she said her voice muffled while still hugging the stallion, Sharpshot blushed as he saw the dark green mare hugging him
"who told you I saved you" he responded not returning the gesture yet, Cathstar's ears pricked up to hear the voice
"nurse Redheart said a dark mustard coloured stallion came in with me on his back" she responded, Sharpshot finally returned the gesture, Cathstar winced from the pain and they quickly separated from their embrace and he gently helped her back on the bed, and he slowly walked out but smiled back.
At the Crystal Empire; Princess Cadence was at the Spa getting ready to meet the Equestria games inspector and she also had a visit from Twilight Sparkle who was the foal she foalsitted and her friends who were going to help with the games inspector arriving, and Shining Armour was in the gymnasium training the crystal pony stallions and one of those stallions was the young colt Aiden Frostfire clash.
"COME ON GANG!!! ARE WE GONNA GALLOP OR ARE WE GONNA TROT!!!!" Shining Armour yelled as he walked towards Aiden,
"looking good out there I'm impressed" he said reassuring the young stallion, Aiden smiled
"you think so" "oh yeah if you weren't going to fight in this dragon war I could of signed you up for the royal guard recruitment" Aiden jump in joy in front of Shining Armour
"maybe if I survive this dragon war maybe I will be" he said gleefully.
"You've finished your exercises so why don't go check on how the Empire's looking" Shining spoke while his fore hoof was on Aiden's shoulder,
"ok" Aiden said with enthusiasm.
Aiden started trotting out of the gymnasium looking at the ponies cleaning keeping the Empire looking sparkly clean and tidy, as he trotted on the grounds all the ponies smiled and waved some even bowed since he was living with the Princess and the Prince also he still did his duty as Captain of the guard in Canterlot.
"Good morning young prince" one of the crystal ponies said to him, that was one thing that made him feel uncomfortable since he wasn't exactly Cadence and Shining Armour's son but they did love and care for him as if he was.
As Aiden finished checking how the Empire was looking, he noticed a orange earth pony with a Stetson looking like she was gasping for air, he then walked towards the spa to see what was going on, so he slowly peeped through the window and saw that purple unicorn and 5 other ponies, wait he saw those ponies in Canterlot castle when he went to deliver a message to Princess Celestia and Luna when he first came to Equestria, "they must be here to help with the games inspector arriving" he thought curiously, with his father Vanguard being half wolven-born which means he has good sense of smell and hearing.
Aiden could hear this Twilight Sparkle and her friends panicking and a white unicorn which looks like one of those Canterlot fobs he's seen during his visits with Cadence and mostly Shining Armour, who was scanning a scroll which was the instruction of a royal crystal mane style Cadence once told him about which never interested him, then 5 ponies came out of the spa except the white unicorn who was named Rarity as the other mares exited, Aiden went to go in but bumped into Twilight Sparkle again, he quickly got up and exceeded his hoof out
"I'm so sorry miss Sparkle" Twilight shook her and saw a light grey hoof in front of her, she looked up and gasped
"hey do I know you?" she asked, Aiden just stared in surprise and gently pulled her up and saluted and slowly walked into the building.
A crystal pony mare walked towards the door and bows at Aiden "young Prince" she said Aiden raised an eyebrow at the bow gesture, he then continued to walk towards Cadence "oh hi Aiden how was your morning exercise with Shining Armour... He didn't make you exercise too much" she said Aiden chuckled "ha too much exercise nothing to me... No need to worry I handled it like pro" he said boldly.
Candence giggled and wrapped her fore hooves around him to hug him, Aiden returned the gesture
"is there anything you want me to do" he said then he was interrupted by a very load engine noise, Cadence trotted out of the spa followed by Aiden and saw a helicopter that looked like it was heading towards the palace so they galloped to it.
Wolfgang was glancing down at the Crystal Empire, seeing how it sparkled in the sunlight
"were at the landing possession... Hold on to something" said the pilot, the ponies on board sat on the floor surface of the helicopter, as the pilot gently landed the massive aircraft behind the Crystal Palace.
Wolfgang and her team jumped off and were greeted by Princess Cadence and Shining Armour
"you must be captain Wolfgang" Cadence replied extended her hoof, Wolfgang extended her hoof and the two mares hoof shaked "it's a pleasure to meet you Princess Cadence" Wolfgang turned and saluted at Shining Armour
"it's pleasure to meet you too Shining Armour" she said as she saluted, and then she turned to Aiden
"you must be Aiden Frostfire clash... I've heard a lot about you from some Barrier Lands ponies who are in my army" she said.
Aiden's eyes widened with enthusiasm
"there's still Barrier Lands ponies around" he then paused when noticed Cathstar and Sharpshot
"wait... I know you two" Aiden responded his eyes still widened Cathstar walked towards the grown colt
"well well well look at you... the last I saw was when you tried to lasso with your magic and ended up tieing yourself up" Aiden turned red when Cathstar reminded him from that embarrassing moment.
Big Mac handed the armour to Wolfgang
"here's your armour... We'd better hurry the dragons don't mess around" she replied while levitating Aiden's armour in front of him
"you've got 10 minutes then we've got to go" she continued, Aiden stared at the armour with a hint of wonder and confusion, seeing how hi tech it was, so as he took it he went to his room in the Crystal Palace.
There he was all in his armour looking at himself in the mirror cringing thinking what it'll be like, and then a knock on the door startled him
"uh come in" he said after being distracted from his focus, the door opened and Princess Cadence walked in
"Aiden are you alright" she said walking towards him, Aiden murmured to himself and looked back at the mirror and then turned to Cadence
"I guess I'm just worried... I mean yeah sure I was born in a place where war and fighting is everywhere but knowing I'm actually gonna be fore filling what my parents used to do does frighten me a bit" he said looking concerned with a hint of worry.
Candence put a hoof around his shoulder
"I understand how you must be feeling but just like what you said it was born inside of you" Cadence said reassuringly, Aiden was in deep thought
"your right Cadence..." He then put his helmet on and with him being a recruit he didn't have the usually helmet that covered his face, this helmet was sat on his head with three open spaces for his horn and his ears and an extra accessory was the night vision goggles sitting on top of the helmet.
"How do I look" he said proudly, Cadence smiled
"like a handsome young soldier" she said still smiling and they both walked together back to captain Wolfgang's helicopter.
As Aiden saw captain Wolfgang standing in front of them Aiden saluted to her and she saluted back, as the rest of the team jumped back on the helicopter while Aiden was saying his goodbyes.
Shining Armour walked towards Aiden and hugged him and Aiden returned the gesture
"be brave just remember who you really are" he said while sniffling a bit as a bit of liquid pride began filling up in his eyes, Aiden then turned to Cadence and they both wrapped there fore hooves around each other in a hug
"I'll write every week" he said his voice sounding muffled while still hugging Cadence
"stay safe and if any Barrier Lands ponies are there and say anything in appropriate just think it was for a good thing" Cadence responded who broke there hugging gestures and put her left fore hoof on his cheek
"c.mon recruit Frostfire clash this war isn't going to fight itself!" Wolfgang yelled as loud as she could as the helicopter propeller and engine running, Aiden quickly turned around and jumped on to the helicopter and waved at the two ponies on the ground.
Wolfgang sat behind the group and took out a audio log recorder.
"This audio diary 6 captain Wolfgang Aiden Frostfire clash is part of the equestrian 101 taskforce army right now he's nervous but he's not scared we're on our way back to base and he'll be tested so me, Sargent Duskstar and Commander Skyline can find he's strengths and weaknesses, This audio diary 6 Wolfgang out"

Telling the Truth
After Aiden left the Crystal Empire to join the dragon war, yeah sure Cadence and Shining Armour were sad seeing how the colt they took in and raised as their own had grown to fight in a war. But there was happiness that day as the Equestria games inspector had chose to host the Equestria games in the Crystal Empire, all the glee and cheers from the crystal ponies weren't enough to know the only colt who was like a son to them had left.
Back at the camp commander Skyline and captain Wolfgang, but though captain Wolfgang wasn't suppose to train Aiden it was suppose to be Sargent Duskstar but he already had duties leading the infrantry team since the dragons had become more aggressive in battle. So commander Skyline had no choice but assign captain Wolfgang to train Aiden along with him, they were training Aiden all skills by teaching him how to aim and fire the battle saddle that was mounted on his back,
"do I have to have a battle saddle... Why can't I just use combat spells from my horn" Aiden said curiously,
"well private frostfire clash we in the special operation taskforce 101 army we must start small especially for unicorn recruits like yourself" Skyline commented while catching a glimpse at Wolfgang who nodded in approval, but in her mind she awkwardly glanced all around the area, her eyes widened as she recalled a memory when she was fourteen.
After she ran away from home and joined a military training camp and caught the eye of a ex mercenary agent veteran who taught her everything she needed to know about fighting and becoming a mistress of the arts of stealth and combat.
It was the middle of the night about 12:30 he was on his first night watch with captain Wolfgang who was in the target practise arena, Aiden jumped at the sound of combat magic which he'd hadn't heard in a while, he followed the source of the commotion and as he used his hoof and carefully opened the gate quietly to the arena and he caught the sight by see captain Wolfgang firing spells at the dragon test targets as a record player playing one of Octavia's cello melody's as she fired her magic and practised her manoeuvres.
Aiden watched in aw and wonder as his eyes widened and his smile turned to a wide eyed grin, he watched like he was a young colt watching a legendary hero practise.
As the outro of the music began to play, Wolfgang tried to do her final manoeuvre which hadn't been able to accomplish but just like what always happens; she gets ready in a galloping position and leapt into the air trying to spin and ready a lightening spell but just like what always happens she loses the momentum and the lightning backlashes onto her armour that starts to short circuit.
Aiden quickly galloped from the gate and quickly got Wolfgang out of her armour before it did any serious damage to her and the armour started to shut down.
It had been a couple of hours and Wolfgang had cleaned the sieges off her pelt, mane and tail, she was then found repairing her armour, Aiden walked to her quarters and thought should he or shouldn't he, being the good natured soul that he is of course he wanted to know if the captain was alright but Wolfgang was the captain and she may not want to be disturbed but he's good natured curiosity had the best of him "uh Captain" he exclaimed the voice made Wolfgang jump out of her pelt as she was too distracted on fixing her armour
"what is it private frostfire clash" she spoke with authority in her voice
"permission to enter ma'am" he spoke sounding bold.
Wolfgang set aside her armour on her desk "permission granted" she spoke with authority, Aiden then opened the tent door and notice captain Wolfgang sitting at her desk with her armour next to her,
"so what is it" she said while still holding the screwdriver and glancing at her armour "I just wanted know if you were feeling alright ma'm... It was me who saw you practising..." Aiden paused for a moment when he saw Wolfgang's eyes widened in shock and embrassment
"What did you say?!" she said anxious from the embrassment and shock, Aiden gulped as his pupils shrunk and he thought he lost his voice as he was beginning to choke
"I..I...I saw...y y yo..." Wolfgang raised eyebrow at first and then planted her hoof on her face as she sighed in annoyance. She then walked towards Aiden and planted her forehoof on his mouth
"will you calm down and tell me what you were doing when I was practising" Wolfgang spoke seriously, Aiden took a deep breath and let out a large exhale,
"I was out on patrol and I heard orchestra music playing in the fight arena and I got curious to see what was going on. And i watched you from the entrance of the arena and then when you did your final manoeuvre and you caught lightening i galloped as quickly as I could to get you out of your before it did serious damage to you" Aiden nervously exclaimed as he let out a weary gulp.
Wolfgang's fell sat down on her plot her eyes widened she never responded for a while until Aiden broke the silence "sorry... I'll just be going" he said as slowly walked backwards to the exit, and as soon as he was about to leave "thanks" Wolfgang finally responded as she smiled at Aiden, he returned the smile quietly walked out and heading back to his duties.
The next morning Shining Armour returned to Canterlot to his duty as captain of the royal guard defending Canterlot from invaders, though he felt on edge knowing his adoptive son is fighting in a fatal war, then from out of no-where Princess Celestia was walking out the door to the grand meeting hall after speaking to her advisors,
"hello Princess" Shining Armour smiled
"hello to you too Shining Armour I heard that young Aiden has joined Captain Wolfgang and her army" Celstia replied, Shining Armour's eyes widened hearing that Celestia already knew
"how do you know about that" he spoke,
"Captain Wolfgang updates me on what's happening in the war" Celestia smiled as she spoke, Shining was surprised but intrigued
"how come captain Wolfgang updates you about the war"
"I like to hear how my subjects are doing... It is quite saddening... Anyway I'll let you get on with your duties" Celestia responded with a nod.
Princess Luna and Prince Markarthus were watching the whole Canterlot at the throne room balcony, Markarthus still in bandages and an eye patch on his left eye he still tried to keep a straight face without trying not to wince from the burning pain he was still feeling, as they both stared at the smoke in the distance to where Balitmare was
"this war is becoming to intense big brother... What does this dragon want?" Luna responded confusingly staring at the smoke, Markarthus gave her a quick glance with an raised eyebrow
"Hmmm wonder why Celestia still hasn't told you yet" he thought.
As Markarthus was about to speak Celestia had walked into the throne room and saw her siblings on the balcony, she then decides to walk towards them Markarthus's ears twitched as he turned his head and eyed his sister suspiciously
"I'd like to have a word with you both" he responded glancing at his two sisters, Celestia and Luna both looked at each other and then back at there brother as he pointed and walked into the throne room they followed him inside and signalled Luna to close the door to the balcony, she used her telekinesis to close the door shut as she did she had a confusing look on her face.
"Celestia you haven't told Luna about what Fireclaw did to our parents" he growled
"Tia what is he talking about?" Luna said with a hint of confusion, Celestia knew this day was coming she did meant to tell Luna sooner but she felt scared wondering
"what would she think, what would she say that I have kept this secret from for 1000 of years" Celestia thought.
Markarthus grew frustrated waiting for his big sister to speak, he then turned and started to walk around them like a predator that's about pounce on it's prey until he glanced his little sister, who couldn't understand what was going on but she had a bad feeling about what was about to be said,
"Luna did Celestia ever tell about our parents" Markarthus said raising an eyebrow, Luna took a quick glance at her sister seeing the hint of worry on her face she then turned back and faced Markarthus
"well she told me that they made residential in the Everfree castle to have us... And..." Luna turned to Celestia who still had that worrying look on her face but Luna spotted a hint of guilt, which only seem to deepen her confusion
"and... she also told me they mysteriously disappeared during a fight with rival Alicorn clans" she explained, her brothers glaring stare making her nervous.
Markarthus's frown deepened even more as he turned to Celestia glaring at her
"I thought you were better than this" he growled quietly, as he moved his face right in Celestia's, Luna used her telekinesis to move them apart "what are you talking about big brother" she's confronting him,
"Celestia lied to you" he said slightly in a dark tone, Luna's eyes began to widen as she turned to her sister
"Tia is it true" her confusion became a hint of curiosity and worrisome, Celestia took a deep breath and let out a large exhale "I'm sorry little sister" she spoke quietly
"I didn't mean to lie to you... I just... I..." Celestia spoke a little louder but stuttered as she tried find her words.
"SPIT IT OUT Celestia" Markarthus growled forcefully, Celestia took another deep sigh and looked up towards her siblings but she turned to Luna mostly
"what happened that 1000 years ago it weren't that long ago you were born Luna... and... An..." Celestia said trying to hold back the tears as she remembers that day she was a filly, the first she came across the dragon general himself.
"Well Celestia aren't you going to continue" Markarthus growled, Celestia let out a huge exhale and focused her attention to Luna again
"I'm so sorry little sister... I didn't mean to lie, but the day our parents died you were only just a foal... not long been born" Celestia explained and me and Markarthus we both saw Fireclaw murder our parents with the only weapon that can kill an alicorn" she continued until she was cut off by Markarthus, "a silver enchanted dagger" he growled forcefully.
Luna didn't know what to think but she understood why her sister lied to her like she did
"I remember the first time we encountered Fireclaw and his minion but have you seen him before" Luna responded as she was curious to know what happened, Markarthus decided to speak first
"the first time I landed eyes on that lizard was the night he killed our parents and that was all until he and his army came into my realm an attacked and burned my Barrier Lands... But Celestia might know more" as he said those last words he glanced at Celestia noticing an intense gulp
"Tia?" Luna spoke,
"I've met Fireclaw before and Markarthus you were there as well you were just a little foal riding on my back... back then I was just a young adventurous little filly, while the king went to do the royal duties in Canterlot and the queen busy meeting with the advisors, the captain of the royal guard back then captain Breezewing was ordered to keep an eye on me to make sure I didn't run into any danger because back then, mother and father didn't trust mortal ponies... But on that day my cocky adventurousness nearly got me and" she points to Markarthus she faces him "and you killed" Celestia finally responded.
Silence had filled the whole of the castle throne room, Markarthus's frown turned into a wide eyed shock but it didn't last long as his expression turned into a frown again, then changed to full blown rage,
"WHAT!!!... So you've caused this cyborg dragon for wanting to assassinate us" he spoke quietly glaring at his oldest sibling.
"I was just a filly back then you and Luna were still young, even though you grew more aggressive and violent ever since Fireclaw murdered our parents... and then it came where we fell out and never spoken" Celestia spoke out bluntly.
"Let's not forget Celestia Luna always came to see me, even when you said to her too not enter my room" Markarthus he's frown got sly but he then stared Luna who was processing everything that was being told, until she let out a sigh
"I remember those days, I couldn't understand why you kept your distance from each other... I mean I can understand what big sister had said" Luna was interrupted by Markarthus
"STOP DEFENDING HER LUNA!!! ARE YOU DEAF LITTLE SIS..." Markarthus stopped himself and put his face right into Luna's
"for saying you rebelled against her your defending her" he pulled his head away
"well Celestia for saying your a lying nag at least somepony has taken your side" he finally spoke has he walked out the throne room frowning.
"Tia are you alright" Luna said putting her forehoof around her big sister's shoulder,
"I'm fine Luna" Celetia sighed
"but Markarthus is right and I'm sorry that I lied to you"
Luna looked at Celestia and sense her remorse on how the memories of her foal hood and that day which caused her family to be assassination targets.
Celestia couldn't take her guilt and decided to make a bolt to her room, "Tia?! Wait I'm not mad at you" Luna shouted out trying to catch up to her big sister
"just leave me alone Luna" Celestia said nearly on the verge of tears because of her guilt and the fact that she blames herself after Markarthus's accusing the words.
Luna stopped in her tracks and felt remorse as her only family were becoming broken, as Celestia and Markarthus grew even more distant.
