Code of Honor

Anon had been talking with Fluttershy's friends for what seemed to be hours. It actually was just an hour and a half , but as soon as the subject of Twilight being a princess came up , Anon seemed to be interested. They would trade information about each other and they all enjoyed his company. Anon told stories of how he had saved many people , slain evil creatures , his curse , and even ongoing war between humans and the souls of the damned who are being controlled by Dark Lord. It was not known who it was but Anon and him have crossed swords many times before. All was going fine until the sound of an explosion shook the land of Equestria.

Anon looked forward to where the Everfree Forest was and saw a gigantic toxic green mushroom cloud. Smoke traveled quickly across Equestria and hid the land in a thick darkness. After minutes of panic , the smoke began to vanish. Anon ran to the forest as soon as he had his vision back. The six ponies he had become friends with followed him in worry of the situation.

"Anon!" Fluttershy shouted , trying to get his attention." What's happening!"

"Go back to your homes immediately!" Anon shouted without daring to look back."You need to stay saf-"

A gigantic worm like creature bursted from the ground under him and knocked him down in an instant. The death worm looked down upon him and opened its mouth showing tentacle like appendages. A few of the appendages grabbed his legs and dragged him closer to its mouth. Before he could be devoured , he unsheathed his claymore and cut the tentacles off of him. The creature screeched and threw its head upwards. Anon plunged his claymore into the creature and continued going forward.

"What the buck was that thing?!" Rainbow Dash yelled while trying to get any sort of answer.

Creatures of all sorts came forth from the trees and charged without hesitation. The ponies stopped and slowly backed up , not knowing what to do. They watched helplessly as they saw Anon throw himself into the hordes and kill as many as he could. He was stabbed , bludgeoned , brutalized , and torn asunder by the assault. He kept getting back up as his body regenerated. He would fight countless amounts of abominations. A large armored humanoid creature held him high into the air before stabbing him through the chest with a spear.

"NO!" Fluttershy screamed as she tried to run forward but was blinded by an intense blind light.

She found herself in the main room of Twilight's castle. Fluttershy tried desperately to calm down but couldn't. Her friends had to comfort her before she hyperventilated. She could do nothing but sob uncontrollably. "WHAT DID YOU DO!" Fluttershy screamed at Twilight. " WHY DID YOU STOP ME FROM HELPING HIM!?"

"Fluttershy , you need to calm dow-" Twilight began but was Interrupted.

"I COULD HAVE SAVED HIM!" Fluttershy screamed.

"YOU COULD HAVE DIED!" Rainbow Dash shouted while holding Fluttershy back." Remember back when he said that he couldn't die?!"

"YE-*sob*.. Yes.." Said Fluttershy while trying to calm down.

"He's was protectin' us Flutters!" Applejack explained." I reckon he'll be back before you know it!"

" Right now , we need to warn everypony!" Twilight explained. " We have to make sure no pony gets hurt!"

IN CANTERLOT...

Canterlot was the first city to be attacked by the forces of the cursed. Ponies were dying in the streets by the hundreds and guards didn't stand a chance. Bodies covered the ground and blood splattered across every surface. The undead got closer and closer by the second and could not be stopped. Princess Celestia watched as her ponies died in the streets. The large golden doors were smashed open by an unseen force. She looked back and saw a tall armored figure that was easily three times her size.

"Ahh.. So you must be the ruler of this land!" Said the Giant." I love the scenery."

"Are you the one doing this?!" Celestia said through her gritted teeth while charged up her magic.

"How did you know?!" The giant asked sarcastically."Was it really that obvious?! Was it the armor?! No wait! It was the giant long sword in my hand covered in your sister's blood! Yeah , that must truly be it"

Celestia couldn't hold in her anger anymore and fired her spell but it backfired and destroyed her horn. The Dark Lord laughed at his work. He had consumed enough souls to control other being's magic. He grabbed the helpless princess and plunged his long sword through her heart. He devoured her soul without hesitation and walked onto the balcony.

His army was the only living things in the city by now and they all looked up and waited. The Dark Lord lifted up the body of Celestia as if it were his prize. After showing them her corpse , he tossed it out into the streets where it was ripped apart and devoured eagerly by undead abominations. He walked back into the throne room and sat down to contemplate his plans. First was Canterlot. The next , which is already being under siege is Manehatten. Then theres cloudsdale. And finally... Anon must die. He is the only being alive that could stop him.
