The King of Dragons

"SPIIIIIIIKE!!!" The tired dragon sighed as he trudged up the stairs where he saw most of his pregnant wife's glaring at him.

"Yes, what can I get you girls?" He asked pulling out a notepad but stopped as Dash patted the spot next to her.

"We're cold, come on to bed big guy." She smiled.

"Yes Spike, we have been a bit hard you lately with you running at all hours of the night to keep us happy." Griffina smiled.

"Indeed love, come to bed. You look ragged." Koko said patting the spot next to them.

Spike smiled stumbling a little and would have fallen if Akhe hadn't moved and caught him along with Yang. The two girls smiled at each other before guiding Spike to the bed.

"Spike are you ok?" Derpy asked coming in behind them holding Spines. She was the only one that wasn't pregnant and had been helping where she could between the children and the other pregnant women.

"Yeah, I'll live." He grunted while the others looked at each other in worry.

"You two just get on the bed, I'll help him in. If you need anything just call for me or one of the other guards." Derpy said helping Spike into the bed as the girls snuggled up to him.

'Note to self, no sex on New Years with the girls one after another. The results are amazing and tiring in the short and long run.' Spike thought as he pulled Akhe and Koko close to him while Dash climbed on top of him snuggling into his chest while the others snuggled into the other girls.

Derpy smiled at them wanting to join them but Spike needed to sleep or he was going to crash hard.

"Is he going to be ok?" Pinkie asked coming in behind Derpy holding Jormungandr.

"He just really needs to rest is all." Derpy said as Pinkie nodded.

"Okie dokie lokie. Well Jorm needs to be changed so once that's done, I'll put him down and then go check on the other girls.

"Ok I'm going to go see pop into the garden for a bit." Derpy said heading out just as she passed Seru.

"Oh hey Seru, you mind taking Spines? I'm just going to get something from garden. I shouldn't be long." She smiled as Seru nodded.

"Sure don't be too long, you know how attached he is to you." She said taking the infant and walking inside.

Derpy sighed as she flew over to the greenhouse that was set up not to far from the house where she and some of the other girls would just come to relax.

Derpy sighed knowing that most of the building was going to be destroyed in the coming fight.

As Derpy entered the greenhouse she ducked under a sword that would have taken her head off.

"You're pretty good being able to avoid Seru and Eingana for so long." Derpy says genuinely impressed.

"I'm surprised that you found me out." A white dragon chuckled appearing seemingly out of thin air.

"Camouflage huh? No wonder, I thought I had been feeling somepony watching us all this time. So did you watch us in the bedroom to?" Derpy asked as the dragon blushed.

"NO! I at least let you have that private moment ok!" She yelled as Derpy chuckled.

"I kid I kid. So what do you want? Why spy on us for so long?" Depry asked the dragoness rolled her eyes.

"You really want me to spell it out for you?" She asked only to be blasted out of the door by a lightning strike from the mare.

"Oh I know why you're here bitch, you want to hurt my family. Well I'm going to send you back to your master as a charred corpse before that happens." Derpy said walking out of the greenhouse with a dark look on her face.

"You think you can hurt my children and my husbands and friends children? You'll die before that happens." She growled as the dragon twitched as electricity sparked around her body.

"What the hell? How are you able to do that?" The dragon asked looking at her with confusion and surprise.

"Well for whatever reason ponies liked to pick on me so bully me. So I took on of the most powerful self defense courses as a filly and modified it to become extremely deadly." She said as the dragon growled getting up.

"Yeah we'll see about that." She snarled taking a deep breath when a pink blur appeared in front of Derpy slamming her hoof into the ground making the earth move to her will covering the two as the fire slammed into the dirt mound and flowed around them unharmed.

"Hey Pinkie." Derpy smiled as the mare grinned.

"Sorry but I heard the lightning strike and just told the others that you were training." She said just as the fire stopped. The two peaked around the dirt mound to see she was gone.

"Great, hold on Pinkie." Derpy said as she blasted the ground hitting the dragon that was making her way to the house.

" Stupid fool. Seru and Eingana would tear her apart." Derpy sighed running towards the downed dragon who was going invisible and visible from the shock.

Pinkie stomped on the ground as a stone sword rose from the ground before she followed her mate as her mane went straight.

The two ducked as a blast of fire was spit at them, Derpy growled as she gathered a ball of lightning in her hand before tossing it like a pitcher watching it slam into the dragon who screamed just as Pinkie came from above spearing her sword through the dragons armor and scales.

"AHHH!!"

Pinkie huffed as she glared at the dragon while Derpy walked up to her with sparks going around her body.

"Who do you work for?" Pinkie growled twisting the sword that was in her chest.

"I'm not telling you two shit!" She growled as Derpy kneeled down with a cold look in her eyes as she put a finger in the dragoness' wound.

"I think it's in your best intention to answer or I'll fry you from the inside out." She warned.

"No need, look at her armband. It's Zu, looks like he finally made his move." Pinkie growled pushing down while turning the sword making the dragoness scream.

"He think he can kill our babies? I'll see him turned to ash first." Pinkie snarled as Derpy got up and slammed her heel into the dragons face knocking her out.

"Come on Pinkie, lets get the guards. They can decide what the-

Splork!

Derpy whipped around to see the dragoness' head flying through the air making her go wide eyed.

"Pinkie what the fuck!?" Derpy asked as she looked at the bloody face of the mare who had a hollow look on her face as she flipped her mane from her face.

"Death, the penalty for traitors and those that attack the royal family is death, by beheading." She stated plainly looking down at the body before stabbing the sword into the ground letting it sink back into the earth.

"You know that Derpy, you read the same book I did on the politics of the kingdom. If I didn't then Seru or Eingana would have. I just got it over with quicker, now they can finish it." Pinkie said.

"Don't worry we will, go get cleaned up my queens, you look like a mess." Seru said as she walked over to the body and began to drag it away while Eingana took the head following her fellow soldier.

Derpy watched them before she heard Pinkie heave before emptying her stomach on the ground.

Derpy sighed and walked over to her patting her back and holding her mane. While the mare cried and puked.

'So it's started." Yang thought watching from the upstairs window.

A few days later Spike stood outside of a cave looking down at the fortress that was below him.

'I want let history repeat itself.' He grit his teeth as he pulled the sword on his hip out and pointed it in the air before bringing it down as a flash of purple magic shot into the sky.

A few seconds later the sky was darkened as balls of fire fell from the sky heading for the fortress. Beside Spike Twilight walked up beside him along with Celestia and Luna along with Cadence and Shining Armor they all had a look of hate on their faces watching as the balls of fire slammed into the fortress exploding from the impact.

"Advance the 2nd and 4th divisions." Celestia ordered as one of her generals shot a red flare into the sky followed by Shining, Twilight, Luna, and Spike firing a ball of fire in the air.

Soon the sound of horns were heard ringing through the valley as swarms of ponies and dragons flowed into the valley like ants swarming a wounded enemy.

Spike jumped along with the alicorns while Shining flashed away.

As the troops began to battle with Zu's forces Spike and the others were slashing through any of the dragons that tried to stop them with ease.

Spike tucked his arms and wings by his side as the others followed him in before kicking their feet out just as they neared the roof slamming through it and the first floor before coming to a stop.

Spikes eyes along with the alicorns were ablaze with fury as they looked at each other and nodded splitting up taking different halls.

Spike went up to the second floor killing every patrol that tried to bar his path. He was going to hang the fool that thought that he could attack his family again and get away with it.

As Spike cut through yet another squad of dragons he found the main room made to look like a throne room. He heard the clinking of metal behind him and turned to see some of his soldiers coming up behind him followed by a few Twilight guard and Crystal soldiers storming into the downstairs area.

"Sire, we have broken through their lines and are disposing of the traitors as we speak." The captain of the squad said thumping his chest.

"Thank you Captain Garble, secure the rest of the fortress and take care of these traitors." He said as Garble nodded.

"Will do hatchling." He smiled before taking off with his soldiers behind him.

"Prince Spike, we have secured the field and most of the bottom floors, what are our orders?" One of the Twilight guards asked with a salute.

"Secure the fortress and help where you can. Make sure this bastard doesn't escape." Spike said as the guard nodded before heading down the hall behind Spike while he moved down to the throne room.

"Lets see, where would I be if I wanted to avoid capture." Spike pondered looking at the statue of Zu in the middle of the room that had tracks behind it.

"Bingo." He smiled as a few Lunar guard came in behind him.

"My lord, what would you have us do?" A mare asked as Spike smiled.

"Gather some troops and find the other generals. I want these tunnels secured, I'm going in." He said as they nodded while Twilight blasted a hole in the wall as she walked into the room. Her body was that of fire and with each step she took melted the marble floor.

"Bastards! Think you can hurt my family." She spat at the remains of a Zu solider before she spotted him and smiled going back to her normal self.

"Oh hey LB, did you find anything?" She asked walking up to him just as Cadence and Luna came through one of the door at the side of the room.

"Oh hello everypony, did you find anything?" Luna asked walking up to them as Spike pointed to tracks behind the statue.

"Ah I see." Luna smirked just as the door on the opposite side of room opened and they saw Zu soldiers running out only for a beam of light engulf them incinerating them instantly.

"Damn maggots." They heard Celestia grumble before she spotted the rest of her family as a large mixed group of soldiers came through the double doors that led into the room.

"Hey mom! Found a escape tunnel." Spike called as she smiled flying up to them as some of the soldiers began to move the statue out of the way.

"Ok well down we go, once we get down there I want everypony to fan out and search everywhere for the rat." Twilight said as they nodded before she jumped in the hole after Spike and the others before they started to follow.

A gray Pegasus in the back smiled as she moved ahead of the line and jumped in after them before the others followed after her.

After a few hours of searching Spike and two of the Twilight guards found some fresh tracks heading down the main tunnel. Spike had one of them head back to let the others know so they could catch up.

As Spike and the guard made it through the tunnel they came out to a large open cavern.

"Careful, this could be a ambush." Spike said to the guard as she nodded spreading out but keeping close to him.

"DIE!!!" The two looked back just as a gate closed sealing the exit while archers and more foot soldiers stormed into the room.

Spike got back to back with the guard as they both glared at the enemy.

"Well, fuck me." He said as she smirked.

'After this you have no idea, no babies this time though.' The guard thought as a door opened and Zu walked out with a smirk on his face.

"Well, well, well. The great king of the dragons graces me in my own home personally." Zu said.

"Who's that? You're plus one?" He asked as Spike looked over at her.

"I guess you can say that. Give up Zu and take your death like a dragon. Have some honor in you traitor." Spike growled getting a snarl back from Zu.

"My lord, if you by me some time I can take care of these weaklings, but I'll be down for the count after that." She said as he nodded.

"Do it."

Gathering the electricity in the air along with using her own the mare began to build a massive charge.

"You need to answer for your crimes Zu, you betrayed my family and killed my family. Surrender and this can all be over, I may even find a nice cell for you in tartarus." He offered as Zu grunted.

"Stupid hatchling, I'm going to make you beg for mercy like I did your parents. They begged for you to be spared. I show mercy and sent you away to Equestria and would have taken the throne had the elite arms hadn't stepped in." Zu growled as he paced in front of Spike.

"Biggest mistake of your life eh?" Spike asked smirking as the older dragon growled.

"Indeed, I should have just crushed you while you were nothing but an egg. But in a moment of pity watching my brother grovel at my feet for your life I spared you." Zu said as Spike went wide eyed.

"YOU'RE MY UNCLE!!??" Sprike roared as Zu looked at him surprised.

"Yes, I figured the council would have told you by now of who I was." He stated before a smile came to his face.

"Ah I see, they expected you to kill me before we could even have a chance to talk." He said as Spike was in shock.

"You know I never would have expected Celestia of all beings to find and take you in. Life is full of surprises huh?" He asked as Spike grit his teeth and clenched his claws.

"You killed your own family, your own blood. Why?" Spike asked as Zu sighed.

"I did it because dragons are the most powerful beings on this planet and yet my brother wants to make allies instead of conquering those lands as our own. Can you see it. The entire world ruled by dragons, even the mighty Equestria would bow to our might in the end. The gods would bend to our will and be at our beck and call." He laughed with a crazed look in his eyes.

"You're insane! My mother would have vaporized the dragons if they would have made a move on my home. You would have failed and innocent lives would have been lost in the process, you would drown the world in war and death for your twisted dream? You're mad." Spike said in shock.

"My lord it's done." The strained voice of the guard said.

"What do you know, you or my brother could never see my dream! I would have brought dragons to the status of gods on this world!" He cried while Spike shook his head.

"Do it." He said as a massive dome of electricity filled the room burning everything to a charred lump melting armor to the body before frying the insides through any small cuts on the body.

Spike blinked as he looked around to see every last of the enemy a blackened lump on the ground.

*Thud*

Spike turned to see the guard fall as he sighed and ran up to her and check her pulse.

"Very powerful friend you have their hatchling." Spikes eyes widened before grabbing the guard and moved just as a large axe slammed where they were.

"Stay still so I can end this!" Zu roared as Spike shot through the room so he could find some place safe for the guard.

"FOUND YOU!!"

'Shit!!" Spike rolled as a jet of fire swallowed the area he was at.

'Ugh, he's like a tick!'

Zu growled as he watched his nephew zip around the room trying to keep the guard safe.

'Stupid fool, this just goes to show they others only slow you down.' He thought as he watched Spike climb up to the second story making him smirk.

'Idiot.'

Spike sighed as he put the guard inside a small shack to hide and be safe till she regained her strength.

"Stay here and don't come out." Spike told her as he turned just as a ball of fire zoomed passed him slamming into the shack where the guard was before it exploded.

"Oh so sorry, were you trying to keep her out of harms way? Such a shame." Zu grinned as Spike looked at the red flames.

"Stupid hatchling, you can only depend on yourself, anyone else will just drag you down and get you killed. Just look at your father, I told you just get one his servants pregnant and be done with it. But what does he do, he goes and falls in love with that dragoness, that stupid little guard." He spat as Spike disappeared.

Never in his life has Zu felt so much pain before. He could see the shockwaves from the head and fell his jaw breaking before he was sent flying through one of the columns.

"RAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!"

Zu turned to see his nephew twice the size he was and right in front of him with a fist inches from his face.

'Well shit.'

THOOOOOMMMM!!!!

Blow after blow rained down on Zu before he had enough and blasted Spike off of him.

"YOU WORTHLESS LITTLE HATCHELING!!! I'M GOING TO TEAR YOUR INSIDES OUT AND-

THOOM!!!

"Shut the fuck up, you talk to much." Spike snarled as he went after his uncle.

The two duked it out for what seemed like hours before Zu landed a lucky hit. Spikes world spun as he fell back shrinking down as he hit the ground and moaned.

Spike looked up in time for a fist to slam into his face making him cry out.

"How fitting I guess I get to finish what I started after all." Zu said pulling our a dagger as he hear banging on the door.

"What a pity, looks like your kids aren't going to have a dad either." He smirked bringing down the dagger as Spike opened his eyes and glared with absolute hate.

Spike watched as something small went into the right side of Zu's head and out the other before blowing a hole in the ground next to them

"Gak."

Spike pushed Zu off of him as he looked to see the guard on the first floor leaning against one of the pillars panting. Her arm was extended out and was sparking.

"Like I'll let you take him away from us you bastard." She panted as she took off her helmet.

"Derpy?" Spike struggled to get up as she limped towards him before falling to her knees.

"How I left you at home and then I saw him blast the shack." He rambled before he was silenced by Derpy as she slammed her lips into his.

The two pulled back and just laid their foreheads against the other.

"You really are dense sometimes." She panted making him smile and pull her into another kiss.

"Are the others ok?" He asked as she nodded.

"Yeah, Twilight put a extra five platoons around the house to make sure everything was ok." She smiled giving him a peck on the lips.

"So how did you make if from the second floor?" He asked as she blushed.

"I just don't know what went wrong. I think I fell through a hole or something on the second floor. Hit a shelf on the way down so my head is still kind of swimming." She grinned as he sighed.

"So I guess it was voted on who was going to follow me after I left?" He asked as she blushed but nodded.

"Maybe?" She shrugged getting a smile from him.

"DIE!!!!"

Derpy and Spike didn't have time to react as Zu swung his sword at them.

THOOM!!

The two watched as a beam of burning light swallowed the dragon vaporizing him in nearly a instant.

The last thing his saw was his nephew and the guard flipping him off before his world went dark.

Derpy and Spike watched as troops swarmed into the area followed by Celestia and the others.

"SPIKE! Derpy? What are you doing here?" Celestia asked as she smiled leaning into Spike.

"What? I had to make sure my husband was ok." She grinned.

"By the way, nice shot mom." She said looking at the trench.

"Thank you dear. Um what did I hit?" She asked as Spike burst out laughing along with Derpy.

" I love you mom."

"I love you to sweetie, but seriously what did I hit?" She asked as they looked at the sword.

"So what took you guy so long?" Spike asked.

"Um sorry my lord that was my fault, I got lost in the tunnels and ran into a group of Zu soldiers." He said giving a sheepish chuckle.

"Well, I guess better late than never." They chuckled leaning into each other letting out a hiss from their wounds.

"Come on you two, lets go get a medic to look at you guys." Cadence said as Shining came in with some of the elite arms guard while they helped clear the area as Shining came to help those two.

"Hey Derpy."

"Hey babe?"

"Glad you came after me."

"Me too."
