Applejack and Jon left the building and walked down the street. The orange coated mare kept a smile on her face.

“Sure thing!” She smacked her face into the floor behind a counter and came back up with a mask of some sort.

Jon looked at her a little scared. “What was all that for?”

“Who knows.” Applejack replied. “She’s just bein’ Pinkie.”

“She does this a lot?”

“Well, she does lots of random things. A’ight, let’s head on out.”

The three of them all left the bakery and walked around Ponyville. Everything seemed to be normal. The sun was hanging in the sky, ponies walked around the town (still observing Jon’s complex figure), and birds sang.

Jon looked around for several seconds in silence. Everything still seemed to be normal. “Well, nothing fell.” He said, looking back at the two mares, grimacing.

The ground started shaking violently, causing Applejack and Jon to fall. The orange coated mare landed on top of Jon. Pinkie Pie just stood there completely still, looking around. After several minutes, the earthquake finally stopped.

“How did you do that Pinkie Pie!?” Jon asked, getting up after Applejack did.

“Do what?” She asked.

“How did you manage to stay still?”

“Uh, Jon.” Applejack said. Her voice was trembling. “I reckon that’s what we were expectin’…” Applejack was pointing her hoof at a forest in the distance.

Jon looked in the forest to see a gigantic black hole that was most likely the portal to the unknown world he was brought to a few days ago. They all stared at it in silence, yet nothing appeared to be getting sucked into it.

“When Pinkie Pie’s tail shakes, does it mean an object will fall, or does it mean a world will fall into chaos?” Jon asked.

“It usually means an object will fall.” Pinkie Pie said, still observing the strange black hole in the forest.

“Well, looks like the war has begun.” He whispered.

Small unidentified objects flew out of the black hole and grew closer, getting bigger as they flew forward toward Ponyville. Jon knew what these were. They were the insects that he first saw attack the people in the other world.

“RUN!” Jon yelled. “GET TO TWILIGHT’S HOUSE!”

They obeyed and cantered over to her house. Jon wasn’t as fast as them considering he wasn’t a pony so he made it last. When he arrived at her house, he entered, breathing heavily, trying to catch his breath.

Twilight, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, and Fluttershy were all waiting inside. “Is that the portal in the Everfree Forest?” Twilight asked, looking terrified. “What are those things flying out from it!?”

“What else would it be?” Jon answered. “He is attacking Equestria, just like he said he would. Those things are the monsters I told you about a few days ago.”

“I’m putting all my trust into this plan we came up with. Let’s hope it goes well.” The lavender color-coated princess said.

They all cantered out of the house, except for Jon, who walked out and stopped at the doorstep, looking up at the large black cloud of the monsters that consumed the light that once lit Ponyville. A dark, purplish light emanated from the large black hole. The glow allowed sight to still exist, however everything looked extremely dense.

“Jon!” Twilight yelled. “Let’s get there before it’s too late!” Her and her friends were waiting for him to catch up.

He ran toward them and they began cantering toward their goal. Ponies ran around in panic. Others barricaded buildings and hid inside. As him and his friends bolted down the street, a shadowy figure of another human pushed him, having him lose his balance and fall over. His friends didn’t even notice. They kept cantering down the road, leaving him behind. The push made him lose his voice for awhile. Looking back at the figure, he saw the person that pushed him, towering above him.

“I said you had a chance to live. Now you lost that privilege.” The shadowy figure said in a deep voice, picking Jon up by the neck and raising him into the air.

“No… wait…” He was losing air and started choking.

Seconds later, his vision was growing dark. Just as he was about to pass out, something hit the shadow in the back, causing him to drop Jon and look behind him. Applejack was in her bucking position and hit him again, knocking him back. The shadow vanished in thin air, leaving a dark cloud of residue behind, which dissipated after a few seconds. Jon laid there, taking long deep breaths.

Applejack lent a hoof to him. “C’mon now. We gotta get ya up.” She said.

Jon grabbed her hoof and she pulled him up. “I can’t… breathe properly…” His voice was terribly raspy.

“Well, we gotta move. There’s no time to lose.” She quickly responded. “Everpony is waiting at the edge of Ponyville. We can’t do this without ya. C’mon.”

Jon clumsily ran with her, but soon got his voice and his air back. The others were waiting, just like Applejack said they were. “What happened?” Twilight asked.

“Jon here was attacked by another human.” The orange coated mare said.

“Another human?” Twilight looked really confused.

“That wasn’t a human.” Jon corrected Applejack. “That was the thing that brought me here to do what he wanted. Looks like he got a human figure though.”

The large insects that covered the sky started swooping down and attacking the town. In the distance, they all heard dubstep being played. Soon enough, a large, whitish bluish light shot up into the sky, killing hundred of the insects that flew in its way, causing blood to rain down upon certain parts of the town.

“Well…” Twilight said. “At least Vinyl Scratch’s Bass Cannon is good for something.”

They made their way to the Everfree Forest undetected. There were remains of dead wolves (which appeared to be made of wood), as well as innocent creatures. Fluttershy broke down in tears from the sight and Rainbow Dash placed her hoof on the crying pegasi’s back to comfort her.

“We gotta keep moving.” Jon commanded.

“He’s right.” Twilight agreed.

They walked to the portal, which wasn’t more than five yards away. Within a minute, they stood at the large black hole that entered a different world, maybe even universe that was millions of light years away from Equestria and Earth. They all entered one after another. First it was Twilight, then Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, and Fluttershy. Jon looked back at Ponyville and saw some buildings had caught on fire. He looked back at the portal, and stepped through it, vanishing from Equestria.
