//-------------------------------------------------------// The Heroes of Equestria -by MMBK- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1 Jon woke up in a bed different from his own. Looking around, he saw he was in a hospital of some sort but it looked completely different from any hospital he had ever seen. Attempting to sit up, he soon realized he was strapped down and couldn't move. He heard a door open and then something like hooves hitting a wooden floor. The sound was amplified and caused Jon to groan in pain. A voice appeared behind him. “He is awake.” It was distorted but he knew the voice belonged to a female. "Drug him." He felt a needle go into his arm soon after the command. He started to dose off quickly. He woke back up and looked around to see that he was in the same room as last time. “Whe-where am I?” He asked. Sounds were still distorted but not as bad as it was earlier. “You’re in Equestria.” A female voice said. Jon turned to see who said that and saw a pony, standing there. She had a cap with a red cross on her head. Her mane was a light pink and her coat was white. Her eyes were rather large and were a light blue. The same red cross on her cap was shown on her flank. “Oh shit!" He yelled, ignoring the pain for once. "What are you!?" He started to try and break free of the straps desperately. “Calm down!” The pony yelled. "I'm not here to hurt you." She lowered her voice slightly. "Now what is your name?" “My name is Jon.” He said, looking around the room some more. “How did I get here? Get me out of this damn thing!" He started yelling again. “I would drug you again but that would lead to overdosing. Your staying there until I figure out if your dangerous or not." Jon calmed down and stared up at the ceiling. "I'm not dangerous." He muttered. "I don't even know how I got here." "Well, I don't know if your lying or not. I'm getting Twilight over here." She left the room for several minutes. He laid there, attempting to escape from the straps once every few seconds until he got exhausted. She came back with a purple coated pony that had a horn and wings. Her eyes were also purple, as well as her mane and tail. There was some sort of star on her flank. "What are you?" She asked strictly after a minute af observing him. "My name is Jon, and I'm a human. I have no idea how I got here but please, let me go. I promise I mean no harm." Her horn lit up and he felt his thoughts being read by some odd force he had never felt before. Soon after, her horn went dim and she looked at him, giving off a weak smile. "He seems to be telling the truth about everything he said so far." The purple coated mare said. "He doesn't mean any harm, and he has no idea how he got here. Should we release him?" "Your taking care of him then." Nurse Redheart said. "Just keep a close eye on him. His temper is very aggressive, Twilight." Twilight nodded and the straps turned purple, loosening shortly after. He moved the bindings away from him quickly and rolled off the bed, grunting in pain. He stood up and took a few steps away from the two mares. "I wanna go back home." He whimpered. "Both of you stay away from me." He bumped into a cart full of medical supplies, having them scatter across the floor. Twilight looked at him with an expression of regret. Her horn lit up and everything went black in Jon's sight. Awhile later, he woke up in a completely different bed from the previous one. He wasn't tied down and it seemed way more comfortable then the hospital one. Looking around, he noticed he was in a different room. Twilight was leaning against the wall on the other side, staring at him. "Are you gonna freak out?" She asked, standing still. "What are you?" He ignored her question. Twilight sighed in disappointment and her horn started to light up again. "Okay okay!" He yelled. "I'll calm down. But... what are you?" "I'm a pony, Jon." She said simply. She didn't seem amused. If anything, she seemed offended. "Do you remember anything that brought you here? Anything unusual?" Jon's mind started flooding with unusual memories that seemed to be connected with this place. “Actually, yes. I am starting to remember what happened." He said, sitting up. "Only bits and pieces though." "I'd like to hear it." She said, approaching the foot of the bed and sitting on her haunches. "Well, I was walking home..." Jon was walking home from a hard days work. He was extremely exhausted. His boss was giving him a lot of stress. He had to stay two extra hours at the bar he was hired at a few months ago. Several minutes passed and he unlocked the door to his apartment, clumsily stepping in afterward. Closing and locking the door behind him, he proceeded into his bedroom, collapsing onto his bed and closing his eyes. He felt a strange presence surrounding him and raised his eyelids to see several human figures standing in front of him. They appeared to be shadows that had a physical form. Jon instantly shot out of bed and was fully awake. "What the fuck!?" He yelled, backing away from them and towards his doorframe that led into the living room. They stood still, watching him. As he turned to run out of the building through the living room, he nearly bumped into another group of the shadows. He was cornered. As he panicked, looking in every direction, they grew closer to him. Everything for him went black. He woke up with his face buried in the sand. He pushed himself up with his arms and looked around to see an empty desert. As he was bitch slapped with confusion and the loss of reality, an electric humming sound grew closer. Looking around, he saw an unidentified object flying toward him in the distance. As each second passed, it grew in size. It appeared to be some sort of flying aircraft. There was really no specific name for it. It landed a few hundred feet away from Jon and a group of soldiers came out from behind it. They aimed their guns at Jon. "Stay where you are!" One of them yelled. "If you pull something stupid, we have every right to shoot you." Jon raised his hands in the air. "Look don't shoot!" He yelled. A voice over what sounded like static appeared somewhere in the group of armed men. One of the soldiers lowered his weapon and held a walkie talkie up to his ear. "Sorry, repeat your transmission sir." He said. "They're coming, we gotta move now!" The voice said. The several soldiers looked over at the man who was holding the walkie talkie and looked scared. One of the men looked at Jon. "Get in!" He yelled strictly. "Why what's-" "Get in or I shoot you." He said, interrupting. A buzzing filled the air and they all raised their guns at a large, black cloud that was approaching. "OPEN FIRE!" Yelled the man who was about to shoot Jon. Multi-colored beams of lasers shot out from the guns and into the approaching buzzing cloud that sounded like a swarm of flies. Something was falling out of the cloud and dropping onto the ground. They looked like a body of some sort. The flying metallic transport started to slowly lift off the ground and rotate, turning towards the cloud and also firing upon it. Another cloud was approaching from the group's right, causing them to get distracted. The first group of unknown creatures spread out once they reached the soldiers. They looked like three insects combined in one. One of the soldiers' heads were torn from his body and thrown in the air. Blood shot out from the body as it collapsed onto the ground. Within a few seconds, most of the soldiers were already dead. If they weren't dead, they were being eaten alive by the deformed monsters. The only thing remaining was the giant air vehicle, shooting at the two groups of creatures. Jon got frightened and ran the opposite way from the battle. A canyon started to reveal in Jon's eyes. He continued running towards it, hoping there was somewhere to hide. Within a minute of running, he heard the engine of the machine failing. As he looked back, he saw the vehicle crash landing in his general direction. "Oh you've got to be kidding me." He said to himself. He bolted to his right as far as he could before the machine skidded across the ground right past him. He had no idea why in action movies they ran with the approaching deadly object. The machine fell into the canyon. The sound of creaking steel appeared before the vehicle completely vanished from his sight. Looking back at what remained of the group of dead soldiers, he saw the creatures flying towards him, ready to tear into his flesh. He ran to the edge of the canyon and looked down to see the vehicle (that was now breaking into pieces) was still falling. A railroad bridge was connected to the upper walls of the canyon, decently close to where Jon stood. At the very bottom was an ocean. It was beautiful, but something about it wasn't right. He looked back to see a group of unknown species right behind him, still charging. Without a second of thought, he jumped down into the canyon and screamed, realizing no matter what he did, he would've died. It was either die from falling, or get eaten by a bunch of hungry over-sized insects. As he fell for several minutes, he continued to scream until he lost his voice. The vehicle was still falling. His worst fear was about to come true; he was about to die from drowning. From this fall, his bones would've shattered once he hit the water. He closed his eyes as he was just about to impact with the ocean, but his bones were unharmed. In fact, the liquid felt strangely soft and comforting. He heard the vehicle creak under the ocean. He could somehow breathe perfectly fine. Twilight gaped at him in amazement. "So... you traveled through two different universes?" She asked, still staring in awe. “I guess so.” Jon replied, yawning afterward. “I didn’t get good sleep for a while. You know... being tied up and all... can I rest here?" Twilight closed her mouth and looked at him. "Well, you seem like your friendly." She stated. "Alright fine. You can sleep here. But I want to know more about this tomorrow if you can remember, okay?" "Certainly." He quickly replied. "Hey, I never did get your full name." "My name is Twilight Sparkle... Princess Twilight Sparkle." Jon looked at her, feeling amazed that he just befriended a princess. "Goodnight Jon." She said, approaching the other side of the room that had a fairly similar bed he was laying down in. "Goodnight, Princess Twilight." He responded, closing his eyes. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2 Jon woke up in the same bed he fell asleep in. His headache appeared to be gone and he felt better than his usual self. He looked at Twilight’s bed to see she was no longer there, then stood up and stretched; vision not becoming blurry this time. Walking downstairs, he saw Twilight making a salad. She looked at him and smiled. “You were certainly tired.” She said, looking back at the bowl of salad. “Do you feel any better?” “I feel way better now, thank you.” His attitude changed a whole lot more as well. He was back to his ‘normal’ peaceful self. “Don’t mention it.” The purple light appeared around her horn and the bowl of salad hovered toward him. “Here.” She looked at him again. “Breakfast is ready. My assistant, Spike, would’ve usually done this but I let him go on vacation.” Jon grabbed the bowl and ate using small bites. He wasn’t much of an herbivore but the last thing he wanted to do was complain. She started making herself a salad. As Jon took little nibbles out of his breakfast, he started regaining his memory of how he arrived in Equestria. “I think I recall what happened next.” He said. Twilight looked at him. “You d-“ She was interrupted by the booming sound of dubstep and looked very annoyed. “Hold on a few seconds.” She said with an irritated groan. Jon barely heard her over the music and she vanished into thin air. He looked around in confusion to see where she went but there was no sign of her. Seconds passed and she appeared in the room again, looking extremely irritated. “Well, apparently my neighbor, Vinyl, won’t turn her music off so we’re going to have to go to somewhere quieter.” Her horn lit up and they both appeared in a field filled with apple trees. The sound of dubstep vanished and Twilight sighed with relief. “Now, you were saying you remember what happened?” “Well, I don’t remember everything but I remember more than I did last time.” “I’d love to hear about it.” Twilight said, sitting against a tree. Jon sat against a tree across from her. “Well, there I was in the ocean…” He was sinking and couldn’t swim up. The ‘water’ prevented him from doing so. All he could do was swim down. Nevertheless, he still attempted going up. Within several minutes of getting nowhere, he saw a large figure of a fish in the distance. It was swimming toward him at an alarming rate. He couldn’t do anything about whatever it was that was approaching him. Soon after he spotted it, he realized it was a shark with two heads. Its teeth were spinning as if someone was looking down a blender. As it was just about to take two large chunks out of him, another one came out of the shadows and devoured the abomination in three large bites. Jon quickly swam down as fast as he could, which was considerable fast since the liquid itself was pulling him down strong enough for him to not be able to swim up. By the time the second shark was done with its meal, it lost sight of Jon, who was swimming in pitch darkness. Within a minute of swimming in water as black as tar, everything suddenly went white. He started falling endlessly. Looking up, he saw the ocean as dark and void-like as it was a few seconds ago. It was floating. He blinked once and was laying on his back. His entire body was drenched in sweat and there was an unbearable heat. Standing up and looking around, he saw he was stranded on a small rock made island surrounded by an ocean of lava that went as far as the eye could see. Hanging above the ocean, was a giant heart that looked like it was human. Chains held it up to the ceiling of the cave Jon stood in. As each beat escaped from the heart, the cave shook slightly. Twilight looked really interested from the story. “Wow, that’s really amazing.” “TWI LOOK OUT!” An orange pony with a southern accent and a Stetson was cantering toward her. “YA HAVE SOMETHIN’ RIGHT NEXT TO YA!” “No no wait! He’s with me!” Twilight yelled, standing up from where she was originally sitting. The orange mare stopped and looked at both of them with confusion. “What?” “He’s with me.” Twilight said calmly. “He’s not dangerous, Applejack.” Jon stood up and Applejack quickly glanced at him, taking a few steps back. “Then, what is it?” “I find it offensive when you say ‘it.’ Can everyone er… everypony stop calling me that?” “IT CAN SPEAK!?” Applejack yelled. “HE has been telling me how he got here.” “How did he get here?” Twilight looked at Jon. “Can we tell her?” Jon sighed in disappointment. “Can you tell her Twilight? I don’t really enjoy repeating stories.” He said, sitting against the tree again. “Don’t call me an ‘it.’ Also, don’t bash my skull in. It’s not very civil.” They all sat down and Twilight explained everything to Applejack. Most of the things in the story just went through her head because she never even heard of guns, firefights, or humans before. “So you’re sayin’ that you teleported to some world?” The orange mare asked. “Well, yes.” Jon said simply. “What’s that gotta do with Equestria?” “I don’t know but that’s all I seem to remember. “ Applejack looked at Twilight. “Do you believe this?” “Yes.” Twilight responded, standing up. “I don’t think it’s a good idea to keep him out in the open like this. I mean, you would’ve killed him if I didn’t stop you. Imagine what other ponies would do if they saw him.” “Where will we hide him?” “I don’t know.” Twilight thought to herself. “Maybe he can camp out in the orchard for a few days and we could bring him food and water until we know what to do with him.” “Wait, why can’t I stay at you’re place?” Jon asked. “If Spike sees you, it could cause panic.”  Twilight responded. “All you have to do is stay in the orchard for a few days.” She turned to face at Applejack. “Can you provide him a good place to hide for a few days?” “Sure can.” Applejack replied, smiling. “Let’s get you somewhere safe.” She said, walking away. Jon looked at Twilight. “It’ll be alright, follow her.” “I’ll see you later I guess.” He did as he was told and followed Applejack down into the orchard. They walked side by side for several minutes in complete silence. Finally, Applejack spoke. “Sorry I nearly killed ya.” She said, looking away in shame. “Oh don’t mention it. I could see why you would freak out from seeing a human for the first time. Everyone else freaked out when they first saw me.” “You mean everypony?” She asked, correcting him. “Uh… yeah sure.” He replied. Jon noticed there was a mark of three apples on her flank. He was very interested in these different marks he kept seeing on every other pony. The nurse had a red cross, Twilight had some sort of star, and Applejack had three apples. Applejack saw what he was looking at. “Why ya starin’ at my cutie mark?” “You’re cutie what?” He asked, looking at her. “My cutie mark. What’s so fascinatin’ ‘bout it? Never saw a cutie mark before?” “No, I’ve never seen anything like this. What’s its purpose?” “It shows what talent ya have.” “So, you’re talent is… apples?” He asked, laughing a little. She seemed a little offended but knew he was just teasing her. “Yeah, laugh all ya want. No, my talent ain’t apples. I’m a farmer.” Minutes passed and Applejack stopped, looking around. “What is it?” Jon asked. “I reckon nopony will see you here. You’re camp’ll be here.” She said, trotting away. “Wait, where are you going?” “To get you some supplies.” She continued trotting away and he sat against one of the many apple trees that surrounded his new camp site. Birds were chirping and everything was peaceful. The warmth of the sunlight felt really good as it hit his skin. He started dozing off from the silence as well as the comfort from the gentle heat. He was standing on the small island surrounded by an ocean of lava, staring at the large human heart held up by chains connected to the ceiling of the cave. A deep, male voice appeared in his head. “You’re here.” Jon looked around in panic. “Who said that? Where am I? LET ME OUT OF HERE!” “You will be leaving this place soon, Jon.” The voice said. “But you won’t be going home.” Jon continued looking around. “Where are you? How do you know my name?” “Look behind you.” Jon did as he was told to see the giant human heart. “I’m talking to a heart?” He asked in confusion. “I’m going to send you to a different universe.” The voice said, avoiding Jon’s recent question. “When you get there, you’re going to kill someone for me.” “Why would I do anything for you? Especially kill someone for you!? I’m not going to be used as a tool for your bidding. You didn’t even tell me how you know who I am!” “I know you too well, Jon. So I’ll ignore your refusal this one time. But if you refuse to do what I command once your there, then I’m sending my minions to your location to find you, kill you, and finish the job you were supposed to do.” “Why do you want me to kill this person anyways?” “She isn’t a human. She rules the world I am going to send you to. I want her dead because I want to conquer every galaxy, star, planet, moon, and all life.” Jon looked a little startled by the words that appeared in his head. “Why me?” He questioned. “You don’t remember?” The voice asked. Jon woke up to a loud thud and looked around. He saw Applejack standing there, looking at him. “Ya fell asleep?” She asked. “Yeah.” Jon replied as he stood up. He looked as if he just saw a ghost. “You alright, suga cube?” She asked, looking at him to notice his startled expression. “Yeah…” Jon said, rubbing his eyes. “… Yeah I’m fine.” “Well, I got you’re tent. I reckon ya know how to set one up.” “Yeah, I can set one up.” He started setting it up and Applejack started helping. It was set up within a few minutes. “I got ya a sleepin’ bag as well.” She said, holding it in both her front hooves, causing her to stand up straight as a human would do. “Here ya go.” Jon took the sleeping bag and unrolled it under the tent. “You know…” Applejack said. “I haven’t camped in a while; I can stay here for a few days and keep you company.” Jon got out from under the tent and looked at her. “That would be nice.” Applejack smiled. “I’ll be right back. I’m gonna get my campin’ supplies.” She cantered away and Jon paced from point A to point B, trying to remember what happened next, but had no luck. Minutes passed and he saw something fly past him from above. He stepped backward into the shade of a tree next to his tent, hoping he didn’t get spotted by whatever it was. To his right, he saw a cyan coated pony flying right toward him at an alarming rate. The pony pinned him to the ground and stood above him, and they looked at each other face to face. This pony had a rainbow mane and magenta colored eyes. “Who are you and what are you doing here!?” The pony yelled. She too, had a female voice. “My name is Jon! I’m not a threat! Just ask Applejack when she gets here!” He attempted getting up but she pressed her hoof into his shoulder, causing him to stay still. Applejack was trotting back to the campsite with her stuff and saw her friend pinning him to the ground. “Damn it Rainbow!” She cantered over to the camp site. “Let him go.” “How does he know you’re name?” She asked, still staring at him. “’Cause Twi told him. Get off him, now.” “I’m keeping my eye on you.” The blue coated mare whispered to Jon, right before she obeyed Applejack’s orders. Jon stood up quickly and started backing away from them slowly. “Oh well would you look at that. Ya scared him enough that he ain’t gonna trust us no more.” Applejack said, setting her supplies down and approaching Jon afterward. “Come on now. You can trust us. She was just bein’ careful.” He stopped walking and stared at the orange mare approaching him. She stood face to face to him (having to stand on her hind hooves). “Calm down, we ain’t gonna hurt ya.” Jon sighed and looked at the cyan coated pony. She looked sorry for what she did. He walked back to the camp site that was still being built. “Sorry.” Rainbow Dash said quietly. “It’s fine.” He quickly replied. “So…” Applejack started. “I never did get your name.” “It’s Jon.” He said quietly as he sat on the sleeping bag in his tent. “Nice to meet you, Jon. This here is Rainbow Dash and I’m Applejack. But I reckon you already knew that.” She started setting up her tent. Rainbow Dash looked at Applejack making her tent, then at Jon’s tent. “What are you two doing?” She asked. “The two of us are campin’.” Applejack said as she finished setting up the tent. “We can’t have Jon here walkin’ ‘round Ponyville so he has to stay here until Twi and I figure out what to do.” Rainbow Dash observed Jon. “How did he get here anyways?” “That’s a long story that ain’t even complete. I don’t even understand it.” Jon’s mind started flooding with the one idea as to why he was here… to kill whoever ruled Equestria. His stomach started to turn and he felt sick. Many hours passed and it was getting dark. The two ponies gathered up sticks and made a campfire. They all sat around the light of the fire and ate some apples that Applejack collected. “So, what is this ‘Equestria?’” Jon asked, taking a bite from the apple in his hand. “It’s where us Earth ponies, pegasi, and unicorns live.” Applejack answered. “Pegasi?” Jon asked, raising an eyebrow. Rainbow Dash spread her wings out. “I’m a pegasi.” “So tell me, Jon…” Applejack said. “What’s the name of the place you originally came from called?” “Earth.” “Huh…” Applejack seemed interested with this ‘Earth.’ Maybe not vocally, but he knew inside she was pretty interested. “So, there are more of your kind there?” “Yep.” He said with a smile. Seconds passed and his smile faded quickly. “However, they are extremely dangerous. Well, I should say some of them are dangerous. Not all.” “Dangerous how?” Rainbow Dash asked out of curiosity. “Where I come from there are wars, genocide, rapists, murderers, chemical warfares, and communism takes a big role in some parts of Earth.” “That doesn’t sound very peaceful.” Rainbow Dash said, stating the obvious. “What’s… chemical what’s it called?” “Chemical warfare… you really don’t want to know. You may think you do, but all it’ll do is cause nightmares. All I can say is that it’s a weapon of mass destruction that should’ve never been invented. Humans are really dangerous. Be cautious around them if you see another.” He strictly advised. “Why should we trust you?” The pegasi asked. Jon looked at her for a few seconds, feeling insulted. “Because I could’ve killed both of you with all the opportunities I was given. Yet here you are, alive and untouched. I’m not like every other typical human. I’m quite gentle as long as I’m not feeling threatened or tied down to something.” They continued to sit around the fire in silence until they all decided to call it a night. Rainbow Dash flew up into a tree and slept on a branch. Applejack went to her tent and looked at Jon. “G’night sugacube.” She entered her tent and Jon entered his a few seconds later. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 3 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 3 Jon was back to speaking with the heart in the cave filled with lava. He couldn’t take any more of the heat surrounding his body. “You don’t remember?” The voice asked. “Remember what?” Jon questioned, wiping a large portion of sweat off his face. He failed, considering his hands were also covered in sweat. Nothing answered him. Looking down at his hands, he saw they were vanishing into the air like dust. “You will do what I command, or you will be perished.” Jon shot up out of the sleeping bag he was sleeping in a few seconds ago. A cold sweat covered his face and he wiped it off almost instantly. He stood up out of the tent to see Applejack was still sleeping in hers. Rainbow Dash was releasing a light snore up on the branch of the tree above his tent. He approached the dimly lit campfire and sat in front of it staring in the flames. The more he thought of why he was sent here, the sicker he felt. He heard Applejack slowly coming out of her tent and stretch. She saw him sitting at the fire which would go out in about a minute or two. Approaching him quietly, she placed a hoof on his shoulder. He looked over to her with a wan expression. She gave a look of concern. “Somethin’ wrong sugacube?” She asked, taking a seat next to him. Jon wanted to tell her about why he was sent here but he considered the consequences. He would’ve lost what little trust he already collected from them. “It’s… nothing.” He answered in a quiet voice, staring back at the remains of the camp fire that just went out. “Ya sure ‘bout that?” She asked again. She knew something was up. She wouldn’t let it slide. Jon let out a sigh of sorrow and looked at her. The moon emanated across the land, provided a very dim light. Applejack could see his eyes were apologizing to her. The blue color in his eyes that the moon made glow a little impressed her... made her care for him. Jon wrapped his arms around her, feeling her warmth. Applejack loved the gentle feeling of his arms holding her. It was very comforting to both of them. “I was sent here to destroy Equestria…” He whispered into her ear. She released the hug and looked at him face to face. “Seriously?” “I was sent here to kill some leader of this world. I never volunteered for this job. You gotta believe me Applejack. I would never do anything to harm any of you. I won’t do what I was told. I never even planned on it. Please… believe me.” He closed his eyes and a single tear rolled down his cheek, splattering on the dirt that was between him and the orange coated mare. Applejack felt sorry for him and pulled him closer to her. “Hey, c’mon now.” She said in a quiet voice. “It’s alright. I believe ya.” Jon stuffed his face into her soft, warm coat and listened to her heartbeat. She got caught by surprise at first, and then allowed it, releasing a small chuckle in the process. “Thank you Applejack.” He said in a slight sob. “Ah don’t mention it sugacube.” Within a few minutes, he fell asleep in her arms. She slowly moved her hind hooves out from under him and got herself situated. Within several minutes, they fell asleep in each other’s arms, hearing his heart give gentle beats as each second passed by. Hours later, the sun started rising in the horizon. Applejack yawned, seeing Jon’s arms around her afterward. She moved them gently, got up and walked over to a tree, facing away from it once she arrived to her destination. Raising her back hoof, she bucked the trunk of the tree once to hear three apples fall down. She grabbed the apples by the stems with her teeth and set them down beside Jon, who was just starting to wake up. “Mornin’.” She said with a smile. “Gotcha breakfast.” She pointed her hoof at the three apples and he grabbed one, wiping the dirt off of it with his shirt and taking a bite afterward. “Thank you, Applejack.” He said with a smile across his face. “No problem.” She said, grabbing one of the apples and eating it. They ate their breakfast in silence for several minutes. By the time they were both done, Rainbow Dash flew down from the tree, landing in front of them afterward. “What’s up?” She asked. “Nothin’, Rainbow. I got ya some breakfast.” She pointed her hoof at the apple that sat in front of them. Rainbow Dash grabbed one of the apples with her mouth and sat on the other side of Jon. As she munched on the fruit, Applejack and Jon continued having their conversation. “So, I have to stay here until Twilight figures out what to do?” “Guess so.” Applejack answered. “Don’t worry none ‘bout it. I reckon she’ll figure somethin’ out soon enough.” Minutes passed and Jon saw Twilight trotting to the camp site. “Everypony!” She yelled, getting their attention. She stopped at the burnt out camp fire. “I have a plan.” “Well how ‘bout that? We were just talkin’ ‘bout ya.” Applejack stated with a smile. “Well, what is it?” Rainbow Dash asked, tossing the core of the apple on the dirt. Twilight looked at her for a few seconds, and then looked at Jon. “Rainbow Dash knows about Jon?” “Uh, yeah.” Applejack replied. “Rainbow didn’t seem very friendly for her first time seein’ a human.” Rainbow Dash started moving her hoof in a circular rotation in the dirt, looking down with a sorry look on her face. “Well, I think I found a way to get it so ponies won’t be scared of you. But… I’ll have to change you.” “Change me?” Jon asked. “What do you mean?” “I have a spell that can change you into something that I see in my head. Like a pony. I can transform you but I won’t do it if you don’t want me to.” Jon thought to himself for a few minutes. “Alright, change me.” “You should honestly consider thinking about it.” Twilight advised. “If I mess up, the results could be catastrophic.” “Do it. Change me.” Jon replied, not thinking for a second. “Alright.” She said, closing her eyes. The purple light appeared from Twilight’s horn and Jon. He felt himself changing. A ball of light started consuming his body. Within seconds, he vanished behind the light, blinding the three mares. The light vanished and Twilight looked back at where Jon stood. “Oh uh…” Twilight started blushing. “I didn’t think this would happen in the spell.” She started laughing a little in embarrassment. The other two mares looked over at Jon with a shocked expression on their face. Applejack let out a small giggle. Jon looked down to see he was naked, but his body was completely different. His legs were now hooves. He looked behind him to see he was half horse, half human… he was a centaur. “Oh hell no.” He said. “Get me out of this form.” He started pacing back and forth, panicking. He looked under him to see he had a horse cock down below at the rear. The three mares blushed and tried not to focus on it. “Hey Twi.” Applejack whispered. Twilight looked at her. “He seems a bit happy.” Applejack started chuckling and pointed at Jon’s joystick. Twilight noticed he was getting hard as Jon stared at her. “Twilight!” He yelled. “My eyes are up here! Get me out of this thing!” “You seem kind of happy to see me.” She said, looking back up at his face with a smile. “What do you expect? I’M A CENTAUR! I’M HAVING NAUGHTY HORSE THOUGHTS NOW DAMNIT!” “What’s a Centaur?” Rainbow Dash and Applejack were still staring down at his erect cock. They didn’t seem to care what a centaur was. “It’s half horse, half human. Look, just get me out of this thing, please!?” “Alright, just stand still.” She said, taking a quick glance back down at his erect manhood… or colthood for a brief second. Jon did as he was told and stood still. Within a few seconds a large ball of light consumed him again, blinding the three ponies as done previously. The light disappeared to reveal Jon back as a normal human, except he had no clothes. He looked down to see his manhood and looked back up with a disappointed sigh. “Where are my clothes?” “They must have vanished when I performed the spell the first time.” Twilight said with a blush on her face. The three of them looked down at his cock again for a few seconds, still blushing. “Can we… play with it?” Asked Rainbow Dash. “What? No!” He yelled. She groaned in disappointment. “Is it possible that I can get new clothes?” He asked in a more calm voice. “I don’t think so… unless we brought him to Rarity’s place.” Twilight said, looking at her friends afterward. “Should we?” “I reckon we should.” Applejack responded. “Eh… I like the way he is.” Rainbow Dash said, smiling brightly. “Alright then… three votes go against one. We’re getting you dressed.” Twilight looked back at Jon. “We’ll need to hide you in something that nopony will notice you in.” Twilight turned to look at Applejack. “I need you to go get a large basket and fill it full of clothes.” “Sure thing.” The orange coated mare replied. “Rainbow, if you could come with me, that’d help.” “Alright… fine.” The cyan coated pegasi said in a sad voice. “Why can’t I wear the clothes in the basket?” “Because you’re not a pony.” Twilight reminded him. “Oh… yeah… duh.” Applejack and Rainbow Dash trotted away; leaving Twilight and Jon alone at the camp site. Twilight turned to look at Jon, finally ignoring his manhood. “Sorry about Rainbow Dash trying to get onto you. It is mating season however…” She stated. “Do you remember anything else since last time I talked to you?” Jon was afraid to say what he remembered. But since he told Applejack about it and she continued to trust him, he hoped it would go the same way the second time. “Promise not to hurt me.” He said, trying not to look at her. “Uh, alright.” “The thing that sent me here… sent me here to kill a leader of this place and probably every other pony that exists.” Twilight looked really serious now. She pushed him backward, having him fall down. She got on top of him and looked directly into his eyes. “You better be joking.” An electric hum appeared and her horn lit up. The sound was starting to get louder as each second passed by. “I’m not joking! But I’m not doing what I was told to do either. I won’t do it!” Her magic discharged and she looked at him, still looking quite angry. Her horn lit up a second time and he felt his mind being read. She was looking through the memory of him talking to the heart. “Please get off of me.” He struggled to get up but couldn’t move. Twilight seemed to be calming down but remained on top of him. Rainbow Dash and Applejack were coming back with the basket and saw Twilight above him.  Rainbow Dash’s jaw dropped. “Well would ya look at that.” Applejack said. “We’re gone five minutes and they’re already havin’ sex.” Twilight looked at her friends then back at him and realized what it must have looked like in their perspective. She got off of him and looked back at her friends. “It’s not what it looks like.” The light from her horn faded. “Then what does it look like?” Rainbow Dash asked. “He told me why he is here.” “Oh nelly…” Applejack whispered. “He doesn’t remember anything, remember?” Rainbow stated, looking at Applejack in confusion  afterward. “Yeah he does.” Twilight looked at Jon. “Twi.” Applejack dropped the large basket and approached her. “He told me ‘bout why he was sent here last night and I reckon he truly means no harm.” She looked at him. “He’s very sweet once ya get to know him.” “I know. I read his thoughts just now. I saw you cuddling with him. I also saw him talking to the creature that forced him here. He refused to do the job even when he was threatened.” Rainbow Dash just stood there in complete confusion. “What job?” She asked, raising a brow. “He was sent here to kill the princesses in Equestria… including me.” “Is this true, Jon?” Rainbow Dash asked. “Well… yes. But I mean no harm.” “If ya feel like your ‘bout to be an outcast…” Applejack started to say, lending him a hoof to get up once she was close enough to do so. “Just know I ain’t gonna abandon ya.” “Neither will I.” Twilight said. “Sorry I attacked you. I just needed to find out answers.” “Seriously?” Rainbow Dash asked. “He was sent here to kill you Twilight and you just trust him?” “I truly believe he has good in him. A part of me believes he won’t try and do what he was told to by this unknown power-craving freak. We all have to trust him. Plus, I read his mind.” “Alright, fine.” Rainbow Dash said. “As Twilight may know,” Jon started to talk. “The creature that sent me here told me that if I didn’t do what I was told, he’d kill me and do the job himself.” “What could we do about it?” Rainbow Dash asked. “Doesn’t Equestria have any type of weapons?” Jon asked, worried the answer would be no. “We have magic, and Celestia’s royal army would defend the land with their life.” Twilight stated. “Let’s hope it’s enough to stop what’s coming.” Jon said. “Can I please get to Rarity’s place? If I’m going to fight at your side, I’d like to not be naked.” “Right.” Twilight responded “Get in the basket and we’ll carry you to Rarity’s.” Jon did as Twilight told him and buried himself in the clothes inside. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 4 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 4 Twilight used her magic to carry the basket Jon was in, and brought him to Rarity’s front door. He heard Twilight say something. “Applejack, Rainbow Dash, I need you to keep a good eye on the basket while I explain to Rarity what she is about to see, just so she doesn’t panic.” The two mares nodded and stood around the basket, making sure nopony would approach it to see what the suspicion was all about. Twilight knocked on the door and it swung open. Jon couldn’t see anything but clothes. “Yes darling? What is it?” Rarity asked. Her voice sounded absolutely beautiful. “I need to speak to you inside.” Twilight said with a serious voice. Rarity was silent for several seconds before she said, “Why of course. Come on in.” Twilight stepped in and the door shut behind her. Silence grew for several minutes and the door finally opened. “Alright.” Rarity said. “Bring him in.” Applejack and Rainbow Dash pushed the basket into her humble abode and closed the door behind them. “Alright Jon.” Twilight said. “Come on out.” Jon removed the clothes that buried him and he sat up, looking around to see four mares; Twilight, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, and a white coated unicorn with a purple mane. There were three diamonds on her flank. She had beautiful, blue eyes that met his. She was beautiful. He got out of the basket. “So you’re Jon?” Rarity asked. “Yes, that is right.” He responded, smiling. “Well Jon, you seem to be naked.” She took a quick peek down and smiled a little. “Yeah, I noticed.” “I can fix that, but your structure looks very complex to make clothes for. Hey Twilight, you should try your transformation spell on him again.” Twilight blushed and looked away. “You told her?” Jon asked. Twilight didn’t respond and continued looking out a window of Rarity's home. “Well, no.” Jon said. “That spell doesn’t work well on me.” “Well, give Jon and I some privacy so that I can get started.” Twilight, Applejack, and Rainbow Dash walked out of her house and Rarity locked the door behind them. “Why’d you lock the door?” “So that nopony disturbs us and sees you of course.” A light blue mist appeared on her horn and a thing of measuring tape started floating toward him. A pair of glasses hovered toward Rarity and she put them on. “So, what was it like being half horse, half human?” She asked. “Well, your friends wouldn’t stop staring at my cock.” “Oh really? Maybe Twilight should activate that spell again…” The measuring tape straightened up against his right leg and she examined it closely. “Uh, no.” “I was kidding, darling.” She bit her bottom lip gently, trying to contain her smile. She continued measuring his body and after a while, she finished. Rarity opened a drawer full of cloth and looked at him after examining the contents inside. “Any color preference dear?” Jon laughed a little. “Nah, standard black.” Her magic lifted a roll of black cloth out of the drawer as well as some scissors, cutting the cloth in certain lengths afterwards. Several hours passed and she completed the whole set of clothes after a few tries. His new set of clothes levitated toward him and dropped in his arms. Rarity looked at him with a smile, waiting for his opinion. “Thank you Rarity for making this for me.” He said as he put them on. “Generosity is one of my strong suits dear. Really, it was my pleasure.” "If there is anything I can ever do for you, just say it." "Well..." She began. "... it is mating season..." Her soothing words and her gentle smile were arousing and he nearly fell for her. "Uhm..." He started to speak softly with a slight grimace. "I don't think so... Your all very kind and adorable but... its just back where I came from this would be frowned upon." "Oh..." A knock on the door appeared and Rarity approached it. “Who is it?” “It’s Twilight. We need to talk to him.” She looked at Jon for a few seconds with a smile to make him think her feelings weren't hurt and unlocked the door for them to enter. Twilight, Applejack, and Rainbow Dash walked in. Rarity closed and locked the door behind them. “We called everypony in Ponyville for a meeting and told them about you. They all agreed to not harm you. You can now show yourself in public. Nice clothes by the way. Good job Rarity.” A pleasant smile grew on Rarity’s face. “Well, let’s get you out there.” Twilight said, going behind him and pushing her head against his back gently, pushing him out the door. Her horn jabbed his back and he grunted in slight pain. “Sorry about that. I didn’t mean to hurt you.” “It’s fine.” Jon said, walking on his own. Twilight walked by his side and the other two mares followed. Rarity stayed in her house. As they walked down the street, many ponies stared at Jon. Some were whispering to each other as they observed him. Twilight was navigating him to her house. When they reached her front door, she turned to face her friends. “I can take him from here. Thank both of you for helping me with all this.” “Alright sugacube. I gotta get to the farm anyways. Them apples ain’t gonna pick themselves.” Applejack trotted away. “See you later Twilight. I have to find out what happens next in Daring Do.” Rainbow Dash said as she spread her wings out and flew away. Twilight and Jon entered the house. She closed the door behind Jon and picked a piece of paper as well as a quill with her magic. “What are you writing?” Jon asked, approaching her. “I’m writing a note for Spike. If he comes here while I’m gone and doesn’t know where I am then he’ll panic.” “Where are you going?” She stopped writing for a few seconds. “WE are going to Canterlot so we can warn Celestia and Luna about what’s coming.” “We?” “Yes.” She finished writing the note and stuck it on the wall to her right. “Let’s get going. We don’t have much time.” “Alright I suppose.” The two of them bolted out the door and Twilight slammed it shut behind her. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 5 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 5 Back in the apocalyptic world Jon first teleported in, an army of the monsters were being raised. Deserts were filled with the large insects, ready to fight for the life in the center of their planet. A shadowy figure of a human appeared in thin air and looked around him to see the army. “We’re almost ready.” The figure said to himself. All the monsters appeared to hear his voice, no matter how quiet it was. “Soon enough, I will open the portal to the world I sent Jon to and all of us will take over!” He yelled to the army. “If you see Jon, kill him on sight! He lost his chance to live! Meanwhile, I want all of you to slaughter all human life that is on my planet! Destroy the Domes! Kill the government that decided to stay in my humble abode!” The army of the deformed insects seemed to appreciate the small speech their leader gave, and jumped around in an ecstatic motion, then flew off in multiple directions to do what they were told. Meanwhile, back in Equestria, Twilight and Jon were on a train headed for Canterlot. Twilight looked terribly worried. “You alright?” Jon asked. Twilight looked over at him. “I’m scared that I’m going to lose everything I have. My freedom, my life, my… friends.” It looked as if she was trying to hold back her tears. “Hey, it’s alright.” Jon said as he petted her purple mane. “I won’t let Equestria fall.” She looked at him and slightly smiled. She was cheering up pretty quick and seemed to enjoy what he was doing. “How will we accomplish getting rid of him?” “I’m still thinking about it.” “Well think quickly.” She said, moving closer to him and feeling the warmth from his body. “I plan on it.” He replied, scratching behind her ear and causing her back hoof to continuously give soft bucks in the air. Jon focused on what was happening and continued scratching, getting humor out of it. She placed her head on his lap and looked up at him, grinning. Using his other hand, he scratched her stomach, which made her pleasure double. Minutes passed and he finally stopped. Twilight opened her eyes and looked up at him. She sat up and their eyes met for a brief second before she gave him a soft kiss on the cheek. Jon’s eyes shot wide open. She moved her head back to see what his expression was. He looked shocked, but seemed to enjoy it. “What was that for?” He asked. “You know how to give a mare a good time…” She said, pressing her fore hooves into his groin softly. He released a slight moan of shock and pleasure. “Please… stop…” He whispered. “Come on… you know you want it.” She pressed a little harder to feel his erection. These mares wouldn’t leave him alone. They always wanted to get with him. “Can we uh…” He gulped, trying to come up with an excuse. “Can we do this some other time when we’re not trying to warn people er… ponies what is coming?” Twilight’s ears drooped down as her face showed sadness. “Alright, fine.” She got off of him and looked out the window for the rest of the trip. A few hours passed. “We’re nearly there.” Twilight said, standing up. “Stay with me and hopefully nopony will panic when they see you.” Jon got up and stood by her side at all times. The train stopped several minutes later and the doors opened for them. They got out and everypony in the vicinity of the area instantly stopped what they were doing and gaped at Jon and Twilight. “Let’s go.” Twilight said. “Don’t make any sudden moves. These ponies don’t know about you so they will think you are a threat if you don’t stick with me.” They walked down the street and everypony watched them. Within twenty minutes, they saw two ponies in armor, standing beside a large door to what seemed to be a castle. “Stand back, Jon.” Twilight said, as she approached the two ponies. “I need to speak to Princess Celestia.” “Sure thing, Twilight.” One of them said. “But I must ask…” He looked at Jon. “… Who is that?” “His name is Jon and he’s harmless. We both need to speak with her.” “Yes, princess Twilight.” The guard said as he used his magic to open the large door, allowing them to enter. “Come on, Jon.” Twilight said, looking back at him. “We’re free to go in.” Jon walked beside her as they entered the castle; hearing the door slam shut behind them. Within several minutes of walking around the castle, they reached the throne room; which was on one of the top floors of the beautiful structure. They both saw a large, white pony sitting on the throne. Her mane (which was transparent) was constantly moving in waves and small sparkles flashed in it. The mane was in multiple colors; being light blue, light green, light purple, and light pink. Two guards stood by her side and raised their spears at the current visitors. The tall, white coated pony looked at her guards by her side. “Lower your weapons.” She spoke in such a calm voice. They did as they were told and lowered their spears. “Hello, Princess Twilight.” The tall pony greeted. “Hello, Princess Celestia.” Twilight said back, bowing before her. “Oh Twilight, you don’t have to do that.” Celestia said as she let out a little laugh. “Right, sorry.” “Who is this?” She pointed her hoof at Jon. “His name is Jon.” Twilight responded. “We came here to tell you something really important. The situation is far more urgent then any of us would’ve ever thought.” Celestia looked at the two guards and they left the room. “What is it?” She asked, standing up and approaching them. “Jon here will fill you in on what is happening.” Twilight said, backing away and pushing him forward with her hoof. “Well, you see… I was sent here from something that was completely dangerous and constantly craves power and well…” Celestia was towering above him and he was sweating. “I was uh… I was sent here to kill you.” “BUT HE REFUSED TO DO HIS JOB!” Twilight yelled quickly before Celestia could react to what Jon just said. “Well, if you aren’t going to do what you were told, then why must you speak with me?” “Because the thing that sent me here, told me that if I refused to do my job, then he’d send his minions here, kill me, and finish what I was supposed to do.” Her face shot up with alert. “I must warn the royal guards and your brother, Shining Armor.” Celestia said, looking at Twilight and starting to walk out of the room. “I will send a message to him. Thank you for telling me.” “I say we should wait until he arrives. I mean think about it. He said he’d bring an army here, so they’d have to go through a portal of some sort. I think we could go through the portal and go to the core of the planet to destroy him.” “It sounds really risky.” Celestia said. “How do you even know where the portal would be?” Jon sighed. “I don’t… but once it appears, I’m sure we will be able to see it. I mean, the portal would have to be huge if an army is gonna be going through it.” “You have your plans and theories all planned. You humans are pretty smart.” Twilight said, smiling. “Thanks. But most humans are just stupid to be honest. If you ever saw what my original world was like, you’d think they were really dumb.” “Huh…” She said, looking away. Celestia walked away and Twilight was looking out a window. Jon walked up to her, petting her mane. She smiled and looked at him. “I sure hope your plan works.” “I hope so too…” Jon replied, looking out the same window. Looking out the window, they saw a huge field down below. In the center of the empty plains, sat a small town. That must be Ponyville, Jon thought to himself. They both stood in the hallway, looking down at the small town in silence for many minutes. “Can’t say she ain’t beautiful.” Jon said to himself, quoting one of his favorite television shows. “Equestria is a very peaceful place most of the time.” She looked at him. “Sure, we have our moments where some chaos strikes here and there but it truly is a peaceful place most of the time.” They spent several hours talking and looking down at the small town below before they finally decided to head back. They both started walking down the hall and made their way out of the castle. They soon got on the train. Other ponies were still staring at Jon. When the train started taking off, he just noticed how dehydrated he was. On top of that, he was starting to get hungry. His body wasn’t working too well considering it didn’t give him the signs earlier. “When we get back to Ponyville, I need food and water.” He said, looking directly at Twilight. “I’m really dehydrated, I’m surprised I didn’t die yet.” “Alright.” Twilight responded. “I have a question.” “Shoot.” “I think you’d accomplish more if I brought all my friends with me to help you. Can I bring them?” “It’s awfully dangerous, are you sure you’d wanna put them in danger?” “We won’t be in danger if we all stay together.” “Alright, if you wanna bring them, then I won’t stop you.” Twilight smiled and looked out the window. Jon was starting to really enjoy this ‘Equestria.’ He was starting to get the feeling that he never wanted to leave. This was going to be his new home. “I have something to say.” Jon spoke, filling the silent car of the train with his voice. She looked back at him. “Go on.” “When or if we destroy him, I don’t want to go back to where I originally lived.” “Why not?” Twilight asked. “All I was doing back there on Earth was working at a bar and barely getting enough sleep. I was about to be evicted from my apartment because I couldn’t pay the rent as easily. I want to live here… please.” Jon gave his speech and caressed her mane. “I can arrange that.” She said, giving a faint smile in return for the gentle touch. “Thank you.” Jon said. They both looked out the window and waited to get to their destination. Around an hour later, they arrived back to Ponyville. They got off the train and went to her house. Twilight opened the front door to reveal a small purple dragon placing books on the shelves. He looked behind him to see Twilight and Jon. “Oh hey Twi-“ He stopped talking and just looked at them. “Who is that?” “This is Jon. He’s a friend that I ran into a few days ago.” She responded, walking inside. Jon followed her in the house (which he still found confusing since she lived inside a giant tree). The door closed behind them from Twilight’s magic. “Oh.” The small dragon said, approaching Jon. “Well, the names Spike.” He held his claw out for a hand shake. “Pleased to meet you, Spike.” He shook his claw. “I’m Jon, as Twilight previously stated.” Spike looked at Twilight. “I was organizing the library for you as a surprise. Thanks for letting me go on that trip.” “Don’t mention it.” She said. “I need to have a meeting with my friends in secret. Go do whatever you want for a while.” “What about Jon?” He asked. “He’s the reason I’m having this meeting. He is going to stay here.” “Alright.” Spike said, walking out the door after a minute of looking at Jon and observing him. “And don’t start working for some other pony like you did with Applejack last time!” She yelled. “Okay, so let’s go get my friends.” “We’re gonna tell them about the plan?” “That is correct. But first, let’s eat.” //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 6 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 6 Jon drank several glasses of water and ate a large bowl of salad. When he finished, he felt really refreshed and full. “Alright.” He said. “I’m ready.” They walked out of the house and walked down a road that led to the orchard that he stayed the night in. After several minutes of walking, he spotted a large, red barn ahead. They approached it and Twilight knocked on the door. “Hey Applejack!” She yelled. “We need you!” A red coated pony opened the door and looked at the two of them. His eyes shot up with alarm when he saw Jon. “Oh hey Big Macintosh.” Twilight said, laughing nervously. The purple light appeared around her horn and Jon was forced to the ground behind Twilight. He stared at her tail as they had their conversation. “I’m looking for Applejack. Have you seen her anywhere?” She asked, with a large grin. “Eyeyup.” He said, pointing his hoof at the orchard behind her. Twilight looked where he was pointing to see Applejack trotting out of the orchard and toward the barn with two bags filled with apples on her back. “Well, hiya Twi!” She said, sounding happy. “Hiya Jon!” She stopped. “What’re ya doin’ behind Twi like that?” Big Macintosh rolled his eyes, went back inside and closed the door. “Oh heh… about that.” Jon was forced back up to his feet by the magic from her horn. “Sorry, Jon.” “Oh its fine.” Jon replied, with a wide grin. Applejack shook her head. “What brings ya to the farm?” She asked, now standing in front of them. “I’m having a meeting and I need you to be there. I would appreciate it if you waited in my house. Jon, you go with her.” “Where ya goin’?” Applejack asked as she took the bags off her back and setting them down next to the wall of the barn. “I have to get every other pony for the meeting.” “Alright.” Jon said. “I’ll see you there.” Twilight trotted away; having Applejack and Jon go down the trail he and Twilight came from. They soon made it to her house and waited inside. “So, how ya been, Jon?” Applejack asked, sitting on her haunches on the hard, wooden floor. “I’ve been good. How about you?” “I’ve been pretty good. Bucked apples since I left but that’s what my cutie mark says I do.” What felt like twenty minutes passed and Twilight came back with Rainbow Dash, Rarity, a pink coated pony who hopped from one place to another instead of walking, and a yellow coated pony that looked really shy. They all sat around in a circle (including Jon). “Alright.” Twilight said. “Let’s begin by introducing each other. You start by saying your name.” She pointed her hoof at the one human in the room. “Hi, my name is Jon.” He said. “Names, Applejack. But y’all already know that.” She said, tilting her hat a little. “The names Rainbow Dash.” “My name is Rarity.” “My name is Pinkie Pie!” The pink coated pony yelled in excitement. “My name is Flutte…” The yellow pony whispered extremely quietly, not being able to be heard. Twilight put her hoof over her face. “Her name is Fluttershy.” She said. “Well, it’s nice meeting all of you friendly peop…” He stopped for a second. “Its nice meeting all of you ponies.” He said, correcting himself. “Now that we got that out of the way, let’s talk about our gravity of the situation.” Twilight began. “There is an evil force coming to Equestria and we all need to help Jon defeat it when it shows up. Equestria shall not fall. Now, Jon has a plan to defeat it but it’ll be hard to accomplish alone. Are you with me?” “What exactly does this thing look like?” Asked the blue coated pegasi with the rainbow colored mane and tail. “You wouldn’t believe me if I told you.” Jon said. “Oh yeah? You filled my head full of shit about some ranged weapon known as guns and a transportation that carries people around. I’m sure I’ll believe you.” Rainbow Dash waited for him to say what it is; which took several seconds of silence in the process. “It looks like a giant human heart held up by chains above an ocean of lava.” He said. Everypony stared at him blankly for a while. “All I can say is that you’ll know what it is when you see it.” “Well, where is it?” Pinkie Pie asked. “It’s on another planet.” “Then how could we possibly reach it?” Rainbow Dash questioned with an attitude. Jon sat there in silence and looked at Twilight, who looked right back at him. “We have to wait for him to attack Equestria.” “Oh my…” Fluttershy whispered. “How do you know this will work?” “When he attacks, it’s almost certain he will send a portal here to let his army through… which we could enter to get to his world.” “It sounds awfully risky.” Rarity said. “Not if we work together.” Said Twilight. “We have all faced dangerous events but managed to get through them unharmed. I honestly think that this won’t be a problem at all.” They all started arguing at once and Jon sat there, still looking at Twilight. She looked back at him and then at her friends. “EVERYPONY!” She yelled. They all stopped instantly and looked at her. “Do we have Jon’s back?” They all sat there in silence until Applejack stood up from her spot and removed her hat, placing it against her chest. “I’m yours to command.” She said, smiling and looking directly at Jon. They all looked at her for a while. Rarity stood up. “I don’t really fight but I’ll stick by your side and defend you greatly if it means saving Equestria from this dreadful creature.” She said. Pinkie Pie stood up next. “I’m with ya.” She said, smiling. Next was Fluttershy. “I’m here.” She had a gentle smile. Twilight approached Jon and placed her hoof on his shoulder, looking directly into his eyes. “I am here for you.” She said calmly. The soothing sound of her words and voice were quite charming and heartwarming. “As am I.” Rainbow Dash said last. “Thank you.” He said, wrapping his arms around Twilight and hugging her tightly. This caught Twilight by surprise but wrapped her hooves around him as well. “If we didn’t help you, then Equestria would fall in an apocalyptic future, and I can’t have that happen.” She said quietly, almost whispering. They let go of each other finally. “I guess you’re free to stay here since everypony knows about you now.” She said. “Thanks.” “Don’t mention it.” The other ponies watched in silence. “So, just to get this right.” Rainbow Dash said, breaking the silence in the group. “We are going to go through a portal that leads to a completely different world, find some heart above an ocean of lava, and kill it?” “In a nutshell, yes.” Jon answered, looking at her. “Sounds like this will take a long time.” The blue coated pegasi said. “It probably will.” He quickly responded. Spike entered through the door and stopped to see that Twilight’s friends and Jon were still there. “Oh sorry. I thought the meeting would’ve ended by now.” He said, backing up. “No it’s alright Spike.” Jon said. “The meeting is technically over, right?” He looked at Twilight. “Yeah, pretty much.” She replied. “Then it’s settled. We have a plan.” He stated, looking back at Spike. The moon was rising and they all decided to call it a night. Twilight and Jon went upstairs to the bedroom once everypony left. Spike was making dinner for them and himself; which was just a salad. He finished making it and brought them the food. Jon stared depressingly at his dinner. “What’s wrong?” Spike asked. “I don’t really eat salad too often… and I’ve been eating the same thing for a while now. Don’t you have anything else?” “Well, we have some quiche that Rarity made, and some apple fritters that Applejack made. Do you want any of those?” Spike said. “Can I have some quiche?” Jon asked politely. “Sure.” Spike answered, walking downstairs. “Hey.” Twilight said, getting Jon’s attention. “Can I have your salad?” “Oh yeah, sure.” He got up from his bed and handed her the bowl of salad. She started eating from the two bowls quite unkempt. Jon looked away and grimaced, slightly disturbed as to how she ate. Spike came back up with the quiche, and handed him the plate that it sat upon. “Why thank you, Spike.” “You’re welcome.” He responded, and went back downstairs to get his food. Jon took decent sized bites of the quiche, unlike Twilight with her salad. He didn’t really like seeing people eat sloppy. He was a polite, well groomed man who had proper manners. What Twilight was doing was completely against him but she didn’t know any better, and he knew that. So, he kept his mouth shut and just avoided looking at her. They finished dinner; Jon got up and held his empty plate in his left hand. Approaching Twilight, he asked, “May I take your bowls?” “Oh you don’t have to do that. I consider you my guest.” She quickly said. “No, it’s okay. I can do it.” Jon said, about to grab the empty bowls. She shielded them with her hoof. “No, you don’t understand. Spike gets ridiculous if he sees somepony else doing his job.” Jon froze for a few seconds and looked at her. “Very well then.” He said, backing away. “I’ll just put away my own dishes.” He walked downstairs and did as he said he would. Spike was washing his dishes at the sink. “Thank you, Spike, for the food.” Jon said, handing him the plate. “It was very good.” “No problem.” He replied. “Is Twilight done with hers?” “Yeah.” Spike turned the sink off and walked up the stairs to grab the bowls. He came back down, washed the dishes and Jon went back upstairs, sitting on his bed. Twilight was getting ready for bed. She was already in bed but still awake. Jon got under his covers and started stripping. The clothes he was wearing were getting a little uncomfortable. Then again, all clothes tend to get a little uncomfortable after a while. He now just realized he was doing what his habits were telling him, and it was quite rude for being in a friend’s house. He looked at the purple coated pony, who looked right back at him. “Oh, I’m sorry. I can wear my clothes if you wa-“ “No, it’s alright. I don’t mind.” She interrupted with a slight smile on her face. “Well, thank you… I guess.” Jon said after a few awkward seconds of silence. He curled up in the bed and felt the warmth and comfort of the sheets rub against his skin. He moved around occasionally to feel the soothing fabric rub him. Twilight looked at him the whole time. “What are you doing?” She asked. Jon stopped. “Oh, these blankets feel great against human skin.” “You humans are weird if you all act like that in bed.” “Well… not all act like I am.” Seconds passed and they said nothing. “Well, we should get some rest.” She said finally. “Goodnight Jon.” “Goodnight Twilight.” He replied with a quiet voice, closing his eyes in the process. Twilight got up from her bed and approached Jon’s, giving him a light kiss on the cheek. He opened his eyes out of surprise and looked at her. It made his heart jump with excitement. “What was that for?” He asked. “I love that you care for Equestria. It means a lot to me. Thank you.” “Well, you’re welcome.” He said, letting out a small laugh and scratching behind her ear. She seemed to really appreciate the scratch and moved closer to him. After several minutes she spoke again. “You don’t mind if I sleep with you, right?” Jon stopped for a second and looked at her as if she was trying to have sex with him again. “If you want.” He sighed. She walked to the other side of the bed and got under the covers. “Thanks.” She said. “No problem.” He whispered in her ear and closed his eyes. Her horn lit up and the lights went out instantly. He felt one of her front hooves traveling down his chest slowly. He knew where this was leading. He couldn’t fight temptation forever. It was just too much for him to handle. The soft, warm feeling of her hoof caressing his chest and slowly trekking down to his throbbing manhood was overwhelming. He didn’t want her to stop. Thus, he remained quiet and let her do what she wanted. He opened his eyes to see she was gazing into his eyes. She was close enough to kiss him. “You’re not gonna stop me?” She asked in a sexy tone. “Well, I suppose I can’t resist forever…” He implied. She giggled and placed her hoof on his erect cock. “It’s so hard.” “I can’t do this.” He whispered, giving soft moans. She raised the blanket with her free hoof and looked under, smiling. “You say no, but your friend says yes.” She pressed down on his cock, making him release slightly louder moans. He laid there and let it happen. His temptation said to let her continue. She giggled at the sound of the voice under his breath. She wiggled closer to him and his erection met the slit in between her legs. This caught her by surprise for a brief second until she let out a stifled giggle. He felt the moist liquids of her flower slowly escaping and he rubbed his manhood along the slit. He felt her muscles quickly clench from the unexpected feeling of pleasure. He got on top of her and navigated his cock around the tightened lips of her clit. She released small moans of pleasure. His joystick met the slit and rubbed along it, causing both Twilight and Jon to moan. “DON’T TEASE ME!” She yelled. Her horn lit up and a pillow hit Jon in the back of the head. Jon laughed a little and kept teasing her moist pussy. The pillow hit him twice as hard the second time. It surprisingly hurt. He shielded his head with his arms and looked at her. “Ow! That hurt! What the hell!?” He yelled. “Don’t tease me…” She pouted. Jon slowly released the grip of his arms around his head and her horn grew dim. The pillow fell behind him, causing a ‘pomf’ sound once it met the ground. He slowly pressed his sex into hers, causing her to give off soft moans. As much as Jon hated fucking a pony, he admitted in his head that the guilty pleasure felt amazing. He slid further in and the moaning increased in volume. He went in halfway, and then slid back out to the tip. He thrusted inside her a little faster the second time around and with more force behind it. Twilight started to release another moan but twice as loud until Jon quickly locked lips with her, causing the moan to proceed into his mouth. He moved his tongue into her mouth and explored it thoroughly. Her tongue met his and they played around with each other. His cock went as far as it could possibly go inside her and retreated again. The tightened grip of her flower choked his manhood only slightly, causing the pleasure to increase more. He put more force behind each thrust and noticed she was bucking the air violently. Is this her first time having sex? Jon thought to himself as he thrusted himself inside her. This felt better than having sex with humans. The constant guilt ran around his mind, torturing him. Nevertheless, he continued pleasing himself as well as Twilight Sparkle, a princess who seemed to really like him. Wait… oh shit… I’M FUCKING A PRINCESS!!!!! He screamed in his mind. He didn’t want to stop. She loves it so I suppose there is no harm done. He felt his climax climbing up and was about to release his load into her. A few powerful thrusts later, they both screamed in pleasure in each other’s mouth as his hot, sticky cum slowly slid down his cock (which was still inside her) and dripped onto the bed sheets, forming a small puddle below them. Jon collapsed onto the exhausted purple coated princess and heard someone walk up the stairs and stop. He looked over to see Spike standing at the entrance of the room, gaping at the two of them. Twilight glanced over and blushed brightly. “Oh uh… hey Spike.” She said, grinning nervously. Spike took one final look at Jon and walked back out, shaking the image out of his head. Jon quickly looked at Twilight, who looked back at him with a scared face. “Don’t worry,” She said calmly. “I’ll explain to him tomorrow.” Jon took his cock out of her and wrapped his arms around her body. Within minutes, they both fell asleep in each other’s arms. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 7 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 7 Jon woke up to see Twilight in front of him, exhausted from last night’s ride. She was just starting to wake up and raised her eyelids slightly to see Jon smiling at her. She returned the smile and felt his morning wood poke her. She released a small giggle. “Wanna go for round two?” She asked, biting her lip slightly. “I’m up for it.” Jon replied, kissing her on the lips shortly after. She went under the covers and he felt her warm breath on the tip of his wood. Soon after, the extreme, moist feeling of her tongue slid up and down his manhood, causing him to kick his legs out a little and moan in his orgasmic voice. The wet feeling of her tongue felt amazing. It was beyond anything he ever felt. He looked down at the lump under the blanket to see the faint glow of her magic from her horn. “Blowjobs are magical…” He muttered to himself under a moan. She didn’t seem to hear him and wrapped her mouth around his erection, moving her head down soon after. She forced herself to go all the way down on his cock, causing her to gage. As she retreated, she left a trail of her saliva. She slid her head down a second time, circling her tongue around the thickness in the process. She continued this for several minutes. It was overwhelming. This felt way better than usual. He wasn’t going to last, his climax was arriving. “I’m… oh fuck… cumming!” She went twice as fast now. Jon quickly looked down to see the light from her horn was glowing brighter under the blanket. A few seconds later, Jon screamed in orgasmic pleasure as his juices poured into her mouth and shot down her throat. She released a small moan and attempted swallowing all the juices that filled her mouth to the top. He was ejaculating way more then he should’ve. His cum could’ve filled a cup. She pumped the excess cum out of him and swallowed once more. She got out from under the blanket and opened her mouth to speak. Several strings of his cum connected to both of her parted lips. She licked her lips, collecting the strings of Jon’s semen that snapped after a second of forming. Her horn went dim and she smiled at him. “That was fun…” She whispered. Jon suddenly thought of an idea to pay her back. “Who said we were done?” He questioned with a seducing grin. She looked at him and blushed. “What do you mean?” Jon moved closer to her and kissed her horn lightly. He felt her body twitch to the warm touch of his lips. “Ohhhhh yes.” He said softly. “Just as I predicted.” Her wings started to spread out once she laid on her back. They flattened against the bed sheets. Jon got on top of her and licked the tip of her horn. She moaned from the amazing feeling he was forcing with his tongue. She breathed on his neck, causing him to enjoy this even more. He nearly lost his balance and forced his hands down onto the mattress, accidentally slamming them against her wings. She screamed in absolute pleasure as the force of the weight in his hands increased. “Oh shit!” He yelled, taking his hands off her wings. “I didn’t mean to hurt you!” “No… that felt amazing!” She said in an ecstatic voice. “Wait… Really?” “Yeah!” She said, panting heavily. Jon hesitantly placed his hands back down on her soft, pulsing wings and massaged them, causing her to moan. He proceeded to lick her horn, starting from the bottom to the tip, leaving a trail of his saliva behind. Her muscles clenched from the pleasure that traveled to her wings and her horn. He moved one of his hands down to her clit and rubbed his fingers back and forth, causing her to close her eyes. This was the best thing Twilight has ever felt when it came to sexual pleasure. Then again, she lost her virginity several hours ago, according to Jon. Her moaning was getting the best of her and her voice spread across the entire library known as “Golden Oak.” Spike must be really annoyed from hearing this, Jon thought to himself. A few seconds later, he could’ve sworn he heard the front door slam shut. He thought nothing of it and proceeded to please the princess. He slid his index and middle finger deep inside her, causing the moaning to amplify. He wiggled them around a little and slid back out. Meanwhile, with his other hand, he pressed slightly harder on her left tense wing. He wrapped his lips around the tip of her horn and dragged them to the base, slowly. A light shock hit his tongue. It was in a liquid form. He switched to three fingers and the liquid shot out more frequent. It tasted sweet. She started bucking her back hooves as he increased the speed of his mouth, tongue, hand, and fingers. “Oh Jon…” She moaned. “I’M CUMMING!” Within seconds, the sweet, shocking, juices of magic from her horn flooded his mouth. He ejected his mouth from the horn shortly after. Meanwhile, cum poured out of her clit, traveling down between her legs and his fingers. A string of the mysterious liquid connected to the tip of her horn and his bottom lips, disbanding within a second of being made. He swallowed the thick, delicious liquid and smiled at her, but noticed her eyes were closed shut. He heard a pony coming up the stairs but didn’t bother dressing. During this time, a large puddle formed with their mixed sex juices on the bed sheets. “Whoa now!” It was Applejack. Twilight opened her eyes to see Jon. She released a pleasant smile and noticed Applejack was in the room. “C’mon ya love birds. Get up.” She said, shielding them from her sight. She looked rather jealous. Twilight sat up. “We weren’t doing anything.” “Is that so?” She looked at Jon, who was scissoring her friend. “You’re a lousy liar, Twi.” She finally said. Jon took his fingers out of her and blushed. He stood up from the bed and put on his clothes. “Sorry you had to see that, Applejack.” She tried to shake out the image of what she just saw out of her head. “Don’t y’all be embarrassed now. Ya finally found somepony for ya Twi.” “Hey. I am not a pony.” Jon quickly replied. “Alright, we may have done something…” She admitted, blushing. Applejack looked at the large wet puddle on the bed. “Looks like you’ve been at it all night.” She stated. “Well, why are you here?” The purple coated mare asked, waving her hoof to try and forget about this. “Just thought maybe we could all search for any suspicious activity ‘round Ponyville.” “Good idea.” Jon said. Twilight got off the bed. “I’ll send search parties. Rainbow Dash will go with Fluttershy, Rarity and I will stick together, and Applejack, you go with Pinkie Pie.” She looked at Jon for a few seconds. “Since you can’t fly or use magic, you’ll stick with the Earth ponies.” “Alright.” “I’ll tell the others their assigned scout duty.” Twilight said. “Meanwhile, you two get Pinkie Pie and search Ponyville. If you see anything suspicious, meet back here at the library.” Applejack and Jon left the building and walked down the street. The orange coated mare kept a smile on her face. “What?” Jon asked. “Nothin’.” She paused. “Well, what exactly did you and Twi do?” Jon let out an exasperated sigh. “We had sex, okay?” He muttered. “May I ask, what’d it feel like as a human?” “Must I answer that question?” He asked nervously. “Nah. I understand it’s quite embarrassin’ to have somepony walk in when your havin’ fun with their best friend.” “You’re not mad or anything, right?” “Nah.” Applejack shook her head. “It is matin’ season after all…” “Of course.” He walked in silence for a few seconds. “Would you happen to know if Twilight was a virgin?” “Well, she ain’t anymore. You took it from her.” Applejack answered, chuckling. Jon blushed. They were approaching what appeared to be a bakery. Stepping in, they saw Pinkie Pie baking cupcakes. “Hi Jon and Applejack!” She yelled with excitement right when she noticed them. “Hiya Pinkie Pie.” Applejack responded. “We need to search Ponyville for any suspicious activity and need your help. Wanna come with us?” “Sure thing!” She smacked her face into the floor behind a counter and came back up with a mask of some sort. Jon looked at her a little scared. “What was all that for?” “Who knows.” Applejack replied. “She’s just bein’ Pinkie.” “She does this a lot?” “Well, she does lots of random things. A’ight, let’s head on out.” The three of them all left the bakery and walked around Ponyville. Everything seemed to be normal. The sun was hanging in the sky, ponies walked around the town (still observing Jon’s complex figure), and birds sang. Pinkie Pie’s tail started shaking. Applejack quickly glanced at it and jumped toward Jon, knocking him down. “HEY! WHAT THE FUCK!?” Jon yelled, getting up from the dirt road. Applejack looked over at Pinkie Pie to see her tail just stopped shaking. “Sorry Jon.” She said, wiping some dirt off him. “Pinkie’s tail shakin’ means somethin’ is gonna fall.” Jon looked around for several seconds in silence. Everything still seemed to be normal. “Well, nothing fell.” He said, looking back at the two mares, grimacing. The ground started shaking violently, causing Applejack and Jon to fall. The orange coated mare landed on top of Jon. Pinkie Pie just stood there completely still, looking around. After several minutes, the earthquake finally stopped. “How did you do that Pinkie Pie!?” Jon asked, getting up after Applejack did. “Do what?” She asked. “How did you manage to stay still?” “Uh, Jon.” Applejack said. Her voice was trembling. “I reckon that’s what we were expectin’…” Applejack was pointing her hoof at a forest in the distance. Jon looked in the forest to see a gigantic black hole that was most likely the portal to the unknown world he was brought to a few days ago. They all stared at it in silence, yet nothing appeared to be getting sucked into it. “When Pinkie Pie’s tail shakes, does it mean an object will fall, or does it mean a world will fall into chaos?” Jon asked. “It usually means an object will fall.” Pinkie Pie said, still observing the strange black hole in the forest. “Well, looks like the war has begun.” He whispered. Small unidentified objects flew out of the black hole and grew closer, getting bigger as they flew forward toward Ponyville. Jon knew what these were. They were the insects that he first saw attack the people in the other world. “RUN!” Jon yelled. “GET TO TWILIGHT’S HOUSE!” They obeyed and cantered over to her house. Jon wasn’t as fast as them considering he wasn’t a pony so he made it last. When he arrived at her house, he entered, breathing heavily, trying to catch his breath. Twilight, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, and Fluttershy were all waiting inside. “Is that the portal in the Everfree Forest?” Twilight asked, looking terrified. “What are those things flying out from it!?” “What else would it be?” Jon answered. “He is attacking Equestria, just like he said he would. Those things are the monsters I told you about a few days ago.” “I’m putting all my trust into this plan we came up with. Let’s hope it goes well.” The lavender color-coated princess said. They all cantered out of the house, except for Jon, who walked out and stopped at the doorstep, looking up at the large black cloud of the monsters that consumed the light that once lit Ponyville. A dark, purplish light emanated from the large black hole. The glow allowed sight to still exist, however everything looked extremely dense. “Jon!” Twilight yelled. “Let’s get there before it’s too late!” Her and her friends were waiting for him to catch up. He ran toward them and they began cantering toward their goal. Ponies ran around in panic. Others barricaded buildings and hid inside. As him and his friends bolted down the street, a shadowy figure of another human pushed him, having him lose his balance and fall over. His friends didn’t even notice. They kept cantering down the road, leaving him behind. The push made him lose his voice for awhile. Looking back at the figure, he saw the person that pushed him, towering above him. “I said you had a chance to live. Now you lost that privilege.” The shadowy figure said in a deep voice, picking Jon up by the neck and raising him into the air. “No… wait…” He was losing air and started choking. Seconds later, his vision was growing dark. Just as he was about to pass out, something hit the shadow in the back, causing him to drop Jon and look behind him. Applejack was in her bucking position and hit him again, knocking him back. The shadow vanished in thin air, leaving a dark cloud of residue behind, which dissipated after a few seconds. Jon laid there, taking long deep breaths. Applejack lent a hoof to him. “C’mon now. We gotta get ya up.” She said. Jon grabbed her hoof and she pulled him up. “I can’t… breathe properly…” His voice was terribly raspy. “Well, we gotta move. There’s no time to lose.” She quickly responded. “Everpony is waiting at the edge of Ponyville. We can’t do this without ya. C’mon.” Jon clumsily ran with her, but soon got his voice and his air back. The others were waiting, just like Applejack said they were. “What happened?” Twilight asked. “Jon here was attacked by another human.” The orange coated mare said. “Another human?” Twilight looked really confused. “That wasn’t a human.” Jon corrected Applejack. “That was the thing that brought me here to do what he wanted. Looks like he got a human figure though.” The large insects that covered the sky started swooping down and attacking the town. In the distance, they all heard dubstep being played. Soon enough, a large, whitish bluish light shot up into the sky, killing hundred of the insects that flew in its way, causing blood to rain down upon certain parts of the town. “Well…” Twilight said. “At least Vinyl Scratch’s Bass Cannon is good for something.” They made their way to the Everfree Forest undetected. There were remains of dead wolves (which appeared to be made of wood), as well as innocent creatures. Fluttershy broke down in tears from the sight and Rainbow Dash placed her hoof on the crying pegasi’s back to comfort her. “We gotta keep moving.” Jon commanded. “He’s right.” Twilight agreed. They walked to the portal, which wasn’t more than five yards away. Within a minute, they stood at the large black hole that entered a different world, maybe even universe that was millions of light years away from Equestria and Earth. They all entered one after another. First it was Twilight, then Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, and Fluttershy. Jon looked back at Ponyville and saw some buildings had caught on fire. He looked back at the portal, and stepped through it, vanishing from Equestria. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 8 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 8 Jon’s face was in the sand of an empty desert with six mares. He stood up, spat out some sand that breached his mouth, and looked around to see his friends passed out. He approached Twilight and shook her a little, waking her up. Opening her eyes, she saw Jon standing there. She looked around to see her friends laying on the ground in an empty desert. “What happened?” She asked, sitting up and rubbing her eyes with her hooves. “I don’t know.” Jon replied. “But we came here to finish a job. Let’s save Equestria.” She smiled and stood up, approaching Applejack and waking her up. Jon woke Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy up, while Applejack woke Rarity and Pinkie Pie. “Ugh.” Rainbow Dash grunted. “My head really hurts. Did somepony hit us with a frying pan when we first entered?” Jon just noticed the splitting headache he had when he first arrived here was back. Thankfully, it didn’t cause any dizziness this time. “Come on everypony.” Twilight said. “Let’s finish this. Let’s save Equestria.” She looked at Jon, smiling. Everypony stood up and looked around. The portal was gone and an empty desert greeted them. “Where are we going to go?” Rainbow Dash asked. “In case you haven’t noticed, we’re in the middle of nowhere! This place is worst then Saddle Arabia!” “Okay look, let’s just travel in one direction and I’m sure we’ll come across something.” Jon commanded, which calmed Rainbow Dash down. “Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy, since your both pegasi, fly ahead and see if there is anything of interest.” “Oh uh… um…” Fluttershy spoke. “Come on Fluttershy.” Rainbow interrupted, flying away slowly. She followed. “You know, I can fly too, Jon.” Twilight said, spreading out her wings and flapping them gently. Applejack gave a little giggle. “She ain’t a very good flier. I reckon she’d crash into...” Applejack looked up for any clouds but none were found. “… the air.” “HEY!” Twilight barked. “Sorry ma’am, but it’s true.” “Twilight, I think you should stick with me, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, and Rarity.” Jon said. She sighed. “Alright, Jon.” She looked over at where Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy, who were just small dots in the horizon at this moment. “We should catch up with them.” “Good idea.” Jon said, moving his fingers through her mane for a brief second. The others stood there in silence until Applejack spoke. “Ya know, I walked in on them sleepin’ with each other.” Everypony looked at Twilight, who was glaring at Applejack. “I have no idea what she’s talking about…” Twilight looked around, sweating. “You had sex with Jon?” Rarity asked. “What was it like?” Twilight sighed. “Okay fine!” She threw her hooves in the air. “I had sex with Jon. So what? Its mating season, okay!?” “Don’t we have a more important thing to worry about then sex?” Jon asked. “Let’s get going.” Applejack said, tilting her Stetson forward. Jon and the four mares walked across the desert to where Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy were, which took around twenty minutes. “Why is the sun descending where the moon is rising?” Twilight asked. Jon looked at the moon and took a quick glimpse of the sun. For some odd reason, looking at sun didn’t burn his retinas. “That’s really weird. Maybe we should set up camp.” “We didn’t pack anything…” Fluttershy stated. “Sleeping on sand doesn’t sound very comfortable, plus I don’t want to get dirty.” Rarity said. “Let’s keep walking until we find something.” Twilight instructed. Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy looked at each other as if they wanted to say something to the group. “Well, we did find something ahead.” Rainbow Dash said, looking back at the rest of the group. “What is it?” Jon asked with a smile. “A giant gray dome in the horizon. I don’t know if it’s dangerous or not.” “We should check it out.” Jon said, giving his opinion on the subject. “We could use it as shelter.” Rarity stated, sounding much happier then sleeping on sand. “Alright.” Jon said, looking at Rainbow Dash. “Can you lead us there?” “Yeah.” She replied, raising off the ground and flying in the direction they were already heading. Jon looked around to see one of the ponies was missing. “Hey.” He said, catching everyponies attention. “Where is Pinkie Pie?” They all looked around to see she wasn’t there. Soon enough, the sound of something burrowing through the sand beneath them started to appear. Jon seemed to be the only one startled by this. He walked away from his friends and saw a bump in the sand moving around. The hill burst open to reveal Pinkie Pie, laughing. “GAH WHAT THE FUCK!?” Jon yelled with a frightened voice, falling backward. “ARE YOU ON CRACK!?” Pinkie Pie just kept on laughing. “Haha that’s just silly.” She answered. “What’s ‘crack?’” Twilight asked. “I don’t even know!” Pinkie Pie answered, still laughing and rolling around in the sand. “You don’t wanna know what crack is. Let’s get moving.” Jon said, getting up and walking towards Rainbow Dash. The others followed. Within several minutes, they saw exactly what Rainbow Dash explained; a large, gray dome in the horizon. Jon started to approach it but Rarity stopped him. “That looks rather dangerous, darling. Are you sure you would want to go sleep in a place like that?” “I’m gonna see if there is anything dangerous over there.” Jon said. “All of you can wait here if you want, except for Rainbow Dash.” “Why me!?” She asked with a loud tone. “Because you can fly, and you seem like a threat to anything that stands in your way.” He answered quickly. “Alright fine.” They both walked over to the dome warily. The eclipse was nearly over. Rainbow Dash seemed more frightened of the unknown structure than Jon. Around half an hour later, they were standing face to face with it. Jon knocked on the wall of the dome to hear a loud metallic bang. “It’s just a steel dome. Must have been used for storage or something.” He said. “What’s that?” The blue coated pegasi asked, pointing at a steel vault door. Jon stood in front of it and a thin line of light shot down on him from the top of the door. It appeared to be scanning him. Rainbow Dash looked very frightened and kept her distance from the light. Soon enough, it vanished and the vault door slid open, creating the sound of screeching metal. Jon covered his ears as well as Rainbow Dash. The screeching stopped and inside was what looked like an abandoned city. There was no sign of life anywhere inside. “Did you really fuck Twilight?” She asked, breaking the ten seconds of silence. Jon looked at her for a second before smacking his hand on his face. “Yes I fucked your friend Twilight.” He muttered. “What was it like?” She asked. “Just get the group here. We’re staying here for the night.” “Are you sure about that?” Rainbow Dash asked, looking back into the dome. “I don’t see any safer place to sleep so this will have to do.” He replied. “Alright, I will go get them.” She said with a worried expression on her face as she flew off. Jon looked back into the empty city and stepped inside the dome. There was a screen that covered the entire inner wall of the dome with big red words saying ‘error’ over and over again. The background was white. He waited at the entrance for the group to catch up, which took as long as it did for him and Rainbow Dash to get where Jon sat. When the six mares arrived, they observed the gigantic, yet empty and quiet city that sat in front of them. The vault door slid shut behind them, creating a loud metal screeching sound. They all covered their ears from the revolting sound, which didn’t last long. Jon removed his hands from his ears and looked back to see there was no way out. “No…” He whispered. “No!” He pounded his fists into the large steel door. The others looked at him. “Maybe there is another way out.” Twilight said, calming Jon down. “We’re stuck in here.” He said, looking back at her. “I’m sure we will find a way out soon.” Meanwhile, her friends were scared to even move. They were almost as panicked as Jon was, but they didn’t say anything. A booming, female voice appeared on the speakers (which couldn’t be seen), catching Jon and the six mares by surprise. “Do not be afraid. I locked all of you in here for your own safety.” The voice echoed through the city. “Who are you?” Jon asked. His heart was pounding heavily from the surprise. “I am simply the AI of this city.” “Does this city have a name?” Twilight questioned, looking up at all the ‘errors’ on the inner wall of the dome. “We call this place ‘Ironwire.’” The AI replied. “I will need all of you to go to the largest building in the center of Ironwire. I have to speak with all of you.” Jon and the six ponies quickly looked at each other, waiting for a response. Finally, Fluttershy spoke. “We can’t exactly trust this thing, can we?” “We don’t really have a choice.” Jon answered. He didn’t like the idea of doing what the AI commanded. For all they knew, this AI was acting like a friend until it got them cornered. They all did what they were told and traveled to a large tower in the center of the city. As they turned right at a corner of the street, a pile of decapitated human bodies were revealed to their sight. Jon quickly turned away to see Twilight. Her friends were stopped at the corner. She didn’t appear to see the bodies yet. Jon’s face showed repugnance. “What’s wrong?” Asked Twilight, about to look what was behind him. Jon blocked her from seeing what it was. “Trust me on this, you do NOT want to see what I just saw.” She looked at him a little angry. “Well, can you tell me what it is?” She asked, with a bitter tone. Jon blinked and said, “have you ever seen the inside of hundreds of humans?” “Well, obviously no I haven’t.” She answered. “Well, it’s quite disgusting. The last thing you want to see is a pile of human bodies torn in half in different areas.” “I’ll see for myself.” She took a quick glance at the pile of severed limbs and quickly looked away. She looked like she was about to vomit. “You’re right.” She said. “That was the last thing I wanted to see.” She held a hoof to her mouth. The entrance to the tower was just across the street from where they currently stood. Jon looked at the other mares, who had no idea what Jon and Twilight were talking about. “Okay, nopony look to your right as you cross the street. If you do, you’ll most likely regret it.” Jon instructed. “What’s over there?” Asked Fluttershy. “Something that could possibly drive you insane after looking at it for a while.” He answered. “Promise me none of you will even take a quick peek to your right.” “Cross my heart, hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye.” They all said in unison, covering one of their eyes with their hoof. “Well, okay then. I don’t know what that means but it’s good enough for me. Let’s move.” He said, walking across the street first. Twilight followed him. They kept their word and looked to their left the whole time until they entered the tower through the glass doors. The AI voice appeared again. “Please take the elevator to the top floor.” She said, as a door miraculously opened to reveal a small room the size of a squared closet. Everypony stared at Jon, who made his move and entered the elevator. The rest entered one by one. It was slightly cramped but not too bad. The door slid shut and Jon pressed the button with the highest number on it, which was 42. “Whoa.” Pinkie Pie said, giggling afterward. “This feels really weird.” “Is this room tinkering with gravity?” Twilight asked Jon. “Not really.” He answered, laughing a little. Soon enough, the doors slid open and they were in a completely different room than the one they were in last time. Twilight looked really confused at this moment. “Humans have magic too?” Jon looked at her and laughed. “Why yes. Yes we do Twilight.” “Really?” She asked. “No.” Jon answered. “We’re just technologically advanced.” They all stepped out of the elevator and took a look around. The walls were made of steel, just like the dome that enclosed this place from any ‘dangers.’ Jon eyed a door beside a window the whole time, which was on the other side of the room from the elevator. He approached it and spotted an intercom on the other side of the door, away from the window. He looked through the large glass paned window to see a large, bright light that changed into multiple colors each second. The light grew brighter and the AI voice appeared through the intercom. “Thank you all for showing up. I know you have a lot of questions but let’s-“ “Start by saying why you slaughtered all those people outside.” Jon interrupted. “That wasn’t me.” The AI responded after several seconds of silence. “Ironwire was breached by what seemed to be an unstoppable force.” “What were they?” Twilight asked. “We don’t really have a name for them. All I can say is… don’t trust your shadow.” Applejack looked at Jon and remembered the shadowy figure that attacked him. Jon was thinking the same thing. “Well, were there any survivors of the attack?” Jon asked. “No, I’m all that’s left in this dome, there are probably other domes that still carry life within them.” “There is more than one dome?” Rarity questioned. “Yes, but I haven’t heard of any signs of life for quite a while now. Not until you came by.” “Why did you bring us here?” Rainbow Dash asked with a strict tone. “I brought you all here because something is following you… something that means to do extreme amounts of harm. I’m sure it can’t hurt any of you if you all stay in here.” “No, we came here to destroy the heart of the world.” Jon said quickly. “We can’t stay here.” The AI stayed silent for a while. “But, you are the heart of the world.” Everypony quickly looked at him. “You created this place, also creating the heart of the world. The thing that is following you is an imposter of you. It claims it’s the real creator, but it’s really you.” “So,” Twilight began to speak. “We have to kill him?” She pointed at Jon hesitantly. “No.” The AI responded. “You will need him to destroy the heart though. This imposter is his bad side, his… shadow.” “My bad side nearly killed me back in Equestria.” Jon stated. “Would he die if I did?” “No. He is strong enough to live without you.” The room fell silent for a while. “If you want to destroy what you have created, I want to come with you.” Jon raised an eyebrow as he stared at the glowing, emanating light on the other side of the window. The six mares looked at each other and then at Jon, who looked back at them. “Should we bring her with us?” He asked. “She could be a valuable asset to the team.” “I don’t see anything wrong with bringing her along.” Rarity responded, smiling. “Me neither.” Said Applejack. A couple seconds passed and everypony agreed to have the AI come along. He turned to look back at the multi-colored light. “Alright, you can come with us.” He examined the window and the locked, steel door. “It appears you are locked in there…” “I can control machinery.” The AI replied. “My constructs built me that way. I can also control organic life-forms. Though, that was never fully explained.” “Well, what are you going to travel in to be able to come with us?” Twilight asked, looking at the beautiful light. The glow from the light shined on their face. The sound of a machine starting up appeared on the other side of the room. The shadowy figure of something big started approaching them; Jon could easily tell it was mechanical and dangerous. It stepped into the light shining from the AI and stopped. The light from the AI vanished. The words ‘Emberbeam’ were scratched into its right chest plate, and was glowing a bright red. One arm appeared to be a type of gun while the other was a long, steel rod that just ignited in flames. The face of the machine had red eyes that gave the look of something ready to kill, since they were built that way. It was four times taller than Jon, who was threatened by it. The ponies were backing up quickly, eventually hitting the wall, door, or window. The eyes grew brighter and the AI voice came out from the machine. “I have decided I will use this body to travel with. I will now be able to fight for you.” The ponies stopped panicking and stepped forward a little. Jon sighed in relief and weakly smiled, letting out a little chuckle. “Why do you want to destroy this place so bad?” He asked, looking at the mechanical war machine. “I do what my constructor tells me to. YOU are my real constructor. You made me as well as every little thing here. I think it’s time to give you back your world.” It kneeled down to him. “I will serve you for as long as I possibly can.” “You’re a king?” Twilight asked, remembering his question earlier asking if she was a princess. “What? No.” Jon said, looking at her. “This is all a mistake. I don’t even remember making this place.” The machine stood up and Jon looked back at it. “I am no lord or king. There was no need to bow down to me.” “But you are the one true ruler of this world.” The AI corrected him. “Well, if that’s true, then I can do whatever I want to this place, and I choose to destroy it.” “And I’ll help you do that.” It said. “What is your name anyways?” Rainbow Dash asked. “My constructor did not give me a name.” The machine replied, looking directly at Jon. Pinkie gasped dramatically and looked at him. “You didn’t give her a name!?” “Why would I name something I don’t even knew existed!?” He looked back at the pink coated pony with the curly mane. Twilight placed a hoof on Jon. “It’s alright.” She said, smiling. She took her hoof off him and looked up at the machine. “Well, what should we call you?” “I am not programmed to think of names.” The AI replied. “Though, the name carved in the body I’m using would be most appropriate.” “Okay… Emberbeam.” Twilight said, smiling weakly. “Well, we traveled a long way here and could use the rest. Could you show us to some rooms that we could rest in?” “There are many houses down at the streets. However, the chances of being captured by the imposter would rise 80 percent if I allowed any of you to go back down there. There is a lounge three stories below our current level. Would you like to rest there?” “That’ll be fine but you said it can’t get any of us if we stay within the dome’s walls.” Rarity asked, looking worried. “A steel dome couldn’t stop large insects and shadows from breaching the city. What makes you think it will stop one of the most powerful beings on the planet? The least the walls could do is slow the imposter down.” “Well uh…” Fluttershy started to speak. “… if it does get in, couldn’t it get in to the tower?” “Yes, it could very easily breach the tower. However, if we stick together, then we will be safer. Plus, I control every electronic source within the walls of Ironwire. Since the government had turrets built in to several hundred buildings, that will distract him from getting to us faster. Plus, we would be alarmed from the turret fire and know he is here.” Emberbeam stopped talking for a second. “Oh look, there I go again. I’ll let all of you get your sleep now. All of us will need the energy for the journey we will be making.” Twilight grew worried and she gulped. “How far exactly is our destination?” “Your current destination is approximately an estimate of 500,000,000 kilometers.” The AI said in a calm voice, like it has since it first started talking. Twilight’s jaw dropped and her eye twitched. “How big is this planet!?” She yelled. “No one knows. The whole world hasn’t been discovered yet. Some say the world is just infinite land. They say that it’s flat, just like the people hundreds of years ago said Earth was flat. Now, enough talking for now. Time to get some rest.” //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 9 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 9 Jon and the six mares were in the lounge. Jon sat in a chair in the corner of the room while the ponies sat on the couches. A table stood at Jon’s left. A blanket rested upon it. Twilight was muttering something to herself but no one could hear what it was. “So,” Applejack said. “We’re travelin’ to the other side of the planet to kill a giant heart?” “The fate of Equestria depends on us.” Jon answered. “Yes Applejack, that is exactly what we’re doing.” “Sounds like I shoulda packed some stuff.” She responded. “By the time we get there, Equestria will be a wasteland.” Rainbow Dash complained. “Maybe there is a faster way to get there?” Fluttershy asked, hiding her face behind her mane. “I sure hope so.” Jon responded. Twilight’s voice was becoming more understandable and clear. “500,000,000 kilometers… 500,000,000 kilometers!!!!” She started yelling. “Twilight, calm down.” He spoke softly. She buried her face in a pillow and screamed for a second. “Oh my…” Fluttershy said. “Are you okay Twilight?” Twilight didn’t respond and kept her face buried in the pillow. “Maybe it’s best we all hit the hay.” Applejack suggested. “Mhmm!” Pinkie Pie said. Everypony agreed, as well as Jon, who grabbed the folded blanket on the table to his left and unfolded it, throwing it over his body. “Goodnight everypony.” He said, closing his eyes. “Goodnight Jon.” Everypony said in monotone, except for Twilight, who was still face down in the pillow. “Hey Jon.” Applejack whispered. “You should make Twilight feel better.” She winked and they all looked at her. Jon looked at her with a blank expression. “We’ll rest in the room down the hall.” Rarity stated as the five mares walked out of the room. Applejack turned off the lights on the way out. Jon stood up and approached Twilight. “Hey.” He whispered into her ear. “It’s alright.” He stroked her mane and she looked up at him, having their eyes meet. “We’ll make it…” He whispered. She moved in to kiss him passionately. “Thank you…” She spoke softly after releasing him. “Don’t mention it.” He said, grinning. Seconds passed of staring at each other and she finally spoke again. “Will you sleep with me?” “Sure thing.” He said, getting up, grabbing his blanket, and coming back after. “I wanna try something new.” He said after several seconds of silence and cuddling. “Uh sure.” She said. He moved down and saw her clit. He slid his tongue around her lips, which were now clenching tightly. She gave out a gasp and her body twitched slightly. He quickly slid his tongue into her, causing the pleasant soothing moans to increase. Jon didn’t consider thinking about the fact he was pleasuring a pony sexually. He actually liked her. He slid his tongue out and went back in going even farther than last time. He traced it around the walls of her wetted marehood. Her moans increased slightly. Several minutes passed and her juices flooded his mouth and sank down his throat. He looked at her to see she was falling asleep. He wrapped his arms around her and held her tight. “You’re really warm.” She stated. “So are you.” He said, throwing the blanket off. There was no need in using it, considering he had Twilight with him. Within seconds, she fell asleep listening to the sound of his heartbeat. He fell asleep a few minutes after. Morning came and Jon woke up, stretched out his arms, and yawned. Twilight started to wake up and looked at him; her eyes halfway open. “Good morning, Jon.” Jon smiled a little bit. “Good morning.” He stood up. “I’m gonna ask Emberbeam where the showers are.” “I’ll come with you. I need a shower too.” They stepped out of the room and walked down a long corridor toward the elevator they came from and entered it. Jon pressed the top floor button. The doors slid shut and opened within a minute. Emberbeam stood in the large steel-walled room, doing absolutely nothing. “Would you happen to know where the showers are?” Jon asked. “Yes. Of course.” She answered. “They are on the sixteenth floor.” “Why thank you, Emberbeam.” He said kindly. “I will send food down to the lounge as well.” “Thank you.” He reiterated. They both went to the sixteenth floor to reveal several showers. Jon stepped in one and Twilight did the same. Several minutes passed and they both came out. He didn’t really want to wear dirty clothes so he kept himself in a towel. They went back to the lounge to see two bowls of salad. Jon groaned miserably and took a small bite out of a leaf. His eyes shot open. “Oh my gosh…” He said. “THIS IS THE BEST DAMN SALAD I’VE EVER TASTED!” He swallowed. “Pardon my rude manners and language.” He said in a more quiet tone. “Oh it’s fine.” The lavender color coated mare said, shoving her face in her own bowl of salad. Jon looked at her, trying his best to not show that he was disgusted in the way she always ate. It was revolting. “Ahem.” Jon cleared his throat. She looked up at him questioningly. She looked back down at her food and realized what she was doing. She blushed and looked back at him. “Oops… heh.” She chuckled nervously. “It’s fine, I suppose.” Jon said, taking smaller bites of his meal. She ate more controllably. Minutes passed and they finished their ‘breakfast.’ Jon opened the door to go check on Emberbeam but Twilight’s friends stood on the other side. Applejack was just about to slam her hoof into the door but instead hit Jon’s stomach. He grunted and spat out some of his meal on the ground. “Ah shit.” Applejack said, quickly trying to raise him up to his feet. “I didn’t mean to, I swear!” “Applejack!” Twilight yelled. “Well…” He panted heavily. “… There goes my breakfast.” He looked up at her to see she was lending a hoof to help him up. “You certainly pack a punch.” He stated matter-of-factly as he grasped onto her hoof. She pulled him up and said nothing. “I’m just gonna…” He was attempting to catch his breath. “I’m gonna go see what Emberbeam is up to.” “We’ll come with.” Rainbow Dash said. “Can you walk?” Rarity asked. “I can uh… yeah. Just got the wind knocked outta me is all.” He stumbled past them and looked down to see he was still in a towel. He looked back at the group of ponies. “Did one of you happen to find human clothes in the other room?” He asked. “I certainly did.” Rarity said. “I’ve been observing their shape and size for hours.” “Could you get me them, please?” “Why certainly.” She trotted off into the room Twilight’s friends had stayed in for the night and came back out with clothes hovering around her. They dropped in his arms. “Thank you, Rarity.” He said as he walked backwards into an open room that wasn’t used by any of them. He closed the door, got dressed, and came back out. His stomach still hurt but most of the pain had subsided. “Okay, now I’m going to go see what Emberbeam is up to.” He said, throwing the towel into the room he just came from. They all walked down the small corridor and got in the elevator. Jon pressed ’42.’ “That salad was really amazing.” Twilight said. “I really need to learn that recipe.” “I know right!?” Pinkie Pie yelled as the elevator went up. “It was simply divine.” Rarity stated. Jon stood there in silence as they continued their conversation about salads. Soon, the door opened to reveal Emberbeam still standing in the large room, doing nothing. “Hey Emberbeam.” Jon said. “We need to know how to get to our destination in time to save Equestria.” “Vehicle logs say there are two aircrafts still here.” That AI implied. “I know how to fly one, since I’m programmed to know about every electronic device on this planet.” “How exactly does that solve our problem?” Rainbow Dash asked. “The aircrafts have a great amount of speed. We could get there in a few days.” “That’s great!” Jon said, laughing. “I honestly thought our trip would have taken longer.” “I will go to the launch pad and prepare the transportation. Doing this will take a whole day so just relax and stay within the walls of the tower.” “Alright.” Jon said, calming himself down. Several hours passed and they were sitting around in the lounge. The sound of gunfire appeared in the distance. Jon shot up with alarm. The others never heard the sound of gunfire so they didn’t know what it was. They looked at Jon. “My imposter is here.” He said, swinging open the door. The mares looked panicked and bolted out the door, rushing toward the elevator. Jon was right behind them. Twilight shot her magic at the elevator button and the door opened. They all got inside and a loud siren filled the sound waves. To Jon, it sounding like an air raid siren. To the ponies, it sounded completely obnoxious. The elevator descended to the lowest floor and they left the building to see Emberbeam was standing in the street. “Your imposter has breached Ironwire. I recommend immediate evac as soon as possible.” She said, looking down at them. “We’re taking the aircraft.” He said. “The transportation isn’t prepared for takeoff yet. We would never make it to your destination in time.” Jon sighed. “We don’t really have much of an option. Bring us to the aircraft.” “Follow me, please.” Emberbeam walked down the road toward the severed pile of limbs. Jon still found that quite disturbing to see all that death. The ponies hated seeing it as much as him. As they passed the pile of bodies, they noticed there was no rotten stench in the air. “Why is there no scent of the corpses?” Jon asked, running to Emberbeam to walk beside her. “Nothing rots here. There are no germs here. The atmosphere cleanses all.” She answered, keeping her pace, which caused Jon to jog just to stay by her side. Minutes passed and they were approaching the landing pad with the aircraft resting upon it. The turrets and alarms were still going off in the distance. Emberbeam entered the aircraft through the loading bay of the vehicle and the multicolored light shot out of her eyes, going into what seemed to be the cock pit. The light phased through the electronic panel and the ship engines started up. “Don’t leave yet!” Jon yelled. “I’m gonna get as much fuel as I can into the ship.” Twilight looked at him as her friends were walking up the ramp to the loading bay. “Good luck, Jon.” She said, trotting up the ramp afterward. Jon walked to the side of the ship, examining what went where. There were a few pumps and tubes connected to a large barrel that rested on the landing platform and the ship. There were some pumps that were disconnected. He grabbed the pumps on the ground and stuck them into the empty slots of the ship. Nothing was happening. He looked over at the barrel to see a switch. “Let’s see what this does.” He said right before he flipped it. The large barrel started to shake violently and rumble. There was a meter indicating how much fuel was in the barrel. It was losing fuel at a slow pace. An explosion occurred a few blocks away, getting Jon’s attention. He saw his imposter walking toward the landing pad. Jon stepped away from the barrel and the pumps, keeping an eye on his rival. He could sense the imposter was pissed off, even if he was just pure shadow. Within a minute, they were nearly face to face. The shadow raised his hand and grabbed Jon’s hair, throwing him on the ground afterward. He laid on the ground for several seconds, and attempted getting up. Before he could do so, the shadow grabbed the scruff of his neck and lifted him off the ground, throwing a few punches to his face. Blood poured out of Jon’s mouth and nose. He was too weak to fight. Applejack looked back to see what was happening to Jon and cantered over to him, tackling the shadow onto the ground and pinning him. Jon was released by the imposter’s grasp but was unconscious. The shadow kicked Applejack back, causing her to fall over in pain. Her stomach was turning. He looked over at her for a brief second, and walked towards Jon, grabbing him by the neck. His intentions were to choke him to death. Rainbow Dash flew directly toward her enemy. The shadow’s free arm was transforming into some sort of dark blade and quickly lodged it into Jon’s stomach, tossing him on the ground afterward. Jon’s blood soaked the imposter’s blade, dripping off it and leaving small red spots on the floor. He quickly turned around and slammed his fist into the Cyan coated pegasi’s face that was about to ram into him, forcing her to land. He grabbed her right wing and twisted it, causing a popping and snapping sound to occur. She screamed in agony and soon passed out from the excruciating pain. The ship was slowly rising off the ground and Twilight quickly used her magic to carry her three friends back into the ship. The imposter stood there and watched them hover into the ship, seeming to not care if they escaped. The ramp to the loading bay started raising, closing off the entrance and exit of the ship. A hatch at the very top of the dome opened up and the ship flew out, moving forward once it had room to move without touching anything. Twilight set Applejack, Rainbow Dash, and Jon on three different steel benches that were built into the walls of the loading bay. “Fluttershy, take a look at Applejack.” Twilight commanded. “Rarity, take a look at Rainbow Dash.” They did as they were instructed and Twilight took a look at Jon’s wound. He was barely awake. “You’ll be alright, Jon. Just hang on.” She whispered. He coughed up blood, having it nearly hit Twilight but instead land on his shirt. “I’m… dying…” He said in a raspy voice. Twilight nuzzled him with a worriedly and looked up at the ceiling. “Emberbeam.” She said. “Is there any medical supplies?” “The government had rules to NEVER leave anything in the aircrafts when they weren’t in use. I’m sorry.” The AI’s voice answered. “I have one solution, but it is quite dangerous.” Twilight looked around at her friends and back at Jon, who was having trouble breathing. “Do what you must to keep him alive.” She said, looking directly at him. “Bring him to the cockpit please.” The AI commanded nicely. “What’s a cockpit?” Twilight asked, looking really confused. The door that the light went in opened up. “Proceed into this room. The closer he is to the ship’s mainframe, the less dangerous it will be.” She lifted him up with her magic and stepped inside the cock pit, as instructed. The multicolored light seemed to be pouring out of the controls and launching into Jon’s body. His eyes opened wide, revealing the multicolored light. He was now standing up by himself perfectly. Twilight took a few steps back, watching all this happen. The light stayed in his eyes. Jon stepped toward the controls and pressed a series of buttons. For some reason, he was managing to control the ship perfectly fine, but Twilight couldn’t understand how. After all, he didn’t even know how to fly this kind of technology. Or at least, she didn’t think he could. Things went by smoothly as he stared at a large screen that showed what was outside ahead (which was just empty desert). He pressed a button and backed away from the controls. He turned around and Twilight backed away from him quickly, frightened by the sight of his eyes. “Don’t be afraid.” Jon said, except his voice was the AI. The same glow emanated from his mouth. “I had to take control of Jon’s body or he would have died. His injuries are extremely dangerous to his race. A major artery was hit and he must rest.” She walked down a hallway to the left of the cockpit and entered a room, which turned out to be a medical bay. Twilight followed her. She turned around and looked at her. “You may want to bring your friends here to rest instead of something uncomfortable such as those benches they are currently laying on.” Twilight went to check on her friends and told them to bring the injured with her, going back to the medical bay afterward. Jon sat on the bed and looked down at the blood stain from his wound. She lifted his shirt up and saw the hole was sealing itself up automatically. “How are you doing that?” She asked in amazement. “I have an energy that any organic race has value in. If any mortal gets this energy that I’m currently using to heal him, they are practically immortal.” “So… he can’t die now?” Twilight questioned. “As long as I am in control of him, he is immortal. The energy doesn’t last forever however. Since I am not an organic life form, this energy is only a life span as to how long I’m active. I won’t have much longer since I left my post.” Twilight’s friends came in and set the injured on some of the cots. Rarity looked over at Jon and wouldn’t stop. “Not to be rude darling but… your eyes look quite… different.” “That’s because I’m not Jon.” The AI spoke, frightening Rarity a little. “Oh...” Rarity said quietly with a weak smile on her face. Twilight sat on one of the unoccupied beds. Rainbow Dash moaned in pain, getting the AI’s attention. “I’m so sorry, Rainbow Dash, but we need to take care of your injury immediately. Twilight, you will need to use your magic to put something strong in her mouth so she doesn’t bite her tongue.” Twilight conjured a strong stick. She approached her bed and opened her mouth, while Twilight placed the stick inside. “You may want to bite down, Rainbow Dash.” She said. She shook her head with a sign of fear. She looked up at him with the sign of ‘please, no. Don’t do it.’ “I’m sorry, but it must be done.” She looked at Fluttershy. “Flip her on her stomach.” “I’m sorry Rainbow Dash.” Fluttershy spoke softly. “But there is no other way.” Rainbow Dash whimpered, biting down on the stick as hard as she could as they flipped her. The AI barely touched her wing and she started releasing tears. Emberbeam grabbed her wing and she grunted in pain. The AI twisted her wing back in its normal position and she screamed in excruciating pain, managing to sink her teeth into the stick a few inches. Several seconds passed of her screaming at the top of her lungs and she fell silent. The AI stretched the pegasi’s wing out but it still felt severely broken. “Oh my.” The AI said. “What is it?” Twilight asked in a panicked tone, standing up and approaching Rainbow Dash’s bed. Jon continued looking at the passed out cyan colored pony with the rainbow mane. “Her wing is beyond repair.” “I thought you just fixed it!” Twilight yelled. The other ponies knew what the AI was about to say. They looked away with tears running down their face. “I’m sorry but her wing is too fractured. We will have to result to amputating it.” “This can’t be happening!?” She yelled in tears. “Why don’t you just do what you did to Jon?” “I can only access one body at a time. Also, entering Jon’s body took quite a lot of energy from my system. If I did it to another life form, then I would be gone and Rainbow Dash wouldn’t have changed. Her wing would still be destroyed.” Twilight looked away and sobbed. “Fine.” She said in a quiet, depressed tone. “Let’s just get it over with.” She turned back around and looked at her friend. “I thought there weren’t any medical supplies on this ship.” She said. “There aren’t.” She responded. “We will need to use your magic to cut it off.” The AI’s voice was always so peaceful and didn’t seem angry or sad. Not even happy! I guess it makes sense if she isn’t actually a living creature, Twilight thought to herself. “So you want me to cut her wing off?” She asked, looking as if she was going to refuse to do so. “I can do it if you don’t want to. Just make a hacksaw and give it to me.” Twilight looked at Rainbow Dash for several seconds and closed her eyes. The purple mist appeared around her horn and a hacksaw appeared in Jon’s hands. “I can’t watch.” She said, turning around. Jon started cutting the root of her wing and she woke up, screaming and kicking. “NO!!!!!!!!” Her voice was muffled because of the object she was currently biting down on. She reiterated the words ‘NO NOT THE WING!’ “Fluttershy.” The AI said. “Would you please hold her down and keep her steady. I don’t want to miss. That would lead to a series of scars on her back.” Fluttershy was looking away and crying. She didn’t move to do what she was told. “I understand why you don’t want to help. But if you don’t, it’s very possible I could hit an artery.” “O-okay.” She said, approaching Rainbow Dash and doing her best to hold her down. She was easily knocked back. “Twilight.” The AI spoke. “I need your help. Fluttershy can’t do it alone.” Twilight took slow steps to the bed and pressed her front hooves into Rainbow Dash’s back, holding her down a little. Fluttershy then started to hold her down and she couldn’t move around as easily anymore. All she could do was repeat the words ‘NOT THE WING!’ She started moving the hacksaw back and forth against the demolished wing. Fluttershy and Twilight both closed their eyes tightly. Blood started pouring onto the bed sheets and Rainbow Dash screamed excruciatingly. Soon, Jon heard the sound of bones being cut. He continued sawing at the root of her wing and she cried, making everypony feel awfully terrible. The instant the bone was completely cut, she passed out again. Fluttershy ran out of the room breaking down in tears. Twilight let go of her blood-stained back and continued crying, facing away from her. The AI continued sawing her wing off and soon enough, she was setting it onto a table several meters away from where Rainbow Dash laid. “Twilight, I need a bandage. Can you make one?” Twilight summoned a bandage and it hovered into her hands. She refused to look at him or her. “Thank you.” She said. “Luckily, she won’t get any infections. But she can still die of blood loss.” She started placing the bandage over the bloody hole in her body. “Why wouldn’t she die of infection?” Asked Twilight. “Sickness doesn’t exist on this planet.” She quickly replied, stepping away from Rainbow Dash and looking at Applejack to see if she was okay. “I… I’m fine!” Applejack asked. “I don’t need no amputatin’! I reckon it was just an upset stomach. It’s gone now.” “You should still rest.” The AI suggested, walking over to an unoccupied bed and laying down. Jon opened his mouth and the light shot out of his eyes, traveling out of the room, down the corridor, and into the cockpit; going back into the air ship’s system control mainframe. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 10 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 10 Back in Equestria, ponies were running around Ponyville. Vinyl Scratch was still disintegrating the monsters with her Bass Cannon. Buildings were on fire, which were spreading to other places. Several bodies of ponies laid in the streets, some of them being consumed by the invaders. Many ponies that barricaded themselves in the buildings fed the flames. Royal guards ran around the town, killing the monsters with magic and spears. Spike was cowering in Twilight’s library, hoping none of the monsters would breach the house. He was terrified of dying alone. For all he knew, Twilight and everypony else he knew was now dead. The portal in the Everfree forest was gone but reappeared where Jon camped. Several hundred shadows came out of the ground and dragged ponies into the floor as they screamed and attempted to get out of their grasp. Princess Celestia was looking out her castle window down at Ponyville, staring at the chaos. A single tear rolled down her cheek. “Please hurry, Twilight.” She whispered to herself, looking up at the stars. Jon woke up in a cot he was unfamiliar with. In fact, he woke up in a room he was completely unfamiliar with. Twilight was holding his hand, asleep in a chair beside the cot. He attempted to sit up but was too weak and groaned, falling back down against the mattress. “Where… where am I?” He asked calmly. Twilight opened her eyes and looked at him, looking really grateful. “You’re awake!” She said loudly. Jon let go of her hoof and rubbed his head in pain. He had a horrible headache. “Yeah, but where am I? What happened?” She paused. “You were attacked by your ‘imposter.’ We managed to escape but you were about to die. There was no medicine on the aircraft, which is where you are now.” Twilight’s smile vanished. “Rainbow Dash and Applejack were badly hurt… you had to cut Rainbow’s wing off…” “But I don’t remember doing that.” Jon said, still rubbing his head. “Well, it wasn’t really you. It was the AI but she took control of your body to save you.” “How would she save me by taking control of me?” He asked, putting his hand down onto the blanket that covered his lower body. “She had some sort of energy that heals all organic life forms.” She thought it would be best to leave out the immortality part. Jon spotted Rainbow Dash on her stomach. Her bandage was really bloody, as well as her back. “Damn, I actually did cut her wing off.” He looked shocked. “What did I use?” “I summoned a hacksaw with my magic but got rid of it when the job was done.” Jon managed to sit up. “Where is her wing then?” Twilight pointed her hoof behind her and Jon took a peek to see the pegasi’s severed wing on a table, covered in blood. “Oh gross.” He said quickly looking away. He attempted to get up and Twilight helped him. “Thanks.” He said. “No problem.” She responded with a smile. He stretched and felt really relaxed. His stomach felt wet and he looked down to see a blood-stained shirt. He lifted the shirt up and saw a chest and stomach drenched in blood. “Why is there no wound?” He asked, looking up at Twilight quickly. “There’s not even a mark.” “She must have repaired the scarred tissue.” Twilight assumed. Jon was quite impressed she even knew what that was. But then again, she is a talking pony who can fly and use magic. “Smart thinking.” He responded. “If you haven’t noticed, I’m a nerd.” She smiled. “My house could’ve given that away.” Jon remembered the several hundred books that were on the shelves all around her house. He gave out a small laugh, which made his stomach hurt a little. He released a slight groan and said, “looks like the damage isn’t fully repaired.” He gave off a small grin. Applejack woke up and looked at Jon. “How ya feelin’.” She asked in a weak voice. Jon and Twilight looked over at her. “Well,” Jon continued. “My stomach hurts a little but I’ll live.” Applejack chuckled but quickly stopped and held her own. “I reckon that makes the two of us.” She said, managing to give off a weak smile. “I’m just glad you’re alright.” Jon looked over at Rainbow Dash, who was still passed out and on her stomach. Applejack looked over too and said, “I reckon she ain’t gonna be happy when she finds out about her wing.” “I’m sorry that happened to her.” Jon said quietly. “You… er, the AI did what had to be done.” Twilight said. “The wing was beyond repair and would just cause her pain.” “I think she’ll feel pain when she wakes up.” Jon quickly assumed. “Yeah but it will probably be temporary. The emotional pain however…” Twilight looked away and closed her eyes tightly. “… Will last forever.” “Flyin’ was her favorite thing to do.” Applejack said. “Is cuttin’ limbs off people the way y’all humans solve medical problems?” “That’s one of the ways we solve things if there is an infection or the limb is just useless and dead. No point in keeping dead weight around.” Jon looked at Applejack. “They also cut limbs as a form of torture when they want answers of something. My home world is a dark place. I’m surprised that the government managed to keep an apocalypse from starting back on Earth.” Applejack looked disgusted. He looked around. “Where is the rest of the group?” “Fluttershy is crying, Rarity and Pinkie Pie are trying to cheer her up, and your AI is probably back to controlling the ship.” Twilight said. Jon rubbed his head again due to the headache. They made their way to the loading bay of the ship, where Pinkie Pie, Rarity, and Fluttershy were. The AI’s voice appeared on the speakers of the ship. “I’m sorry for the pain you are suffering with at the moment, Jon.” She said. “But I had to save you… and the only possible way of saving you was by entering your mind. I had a look into your thoughts by the way. That’s how I know your friend’s names and know about the magic Twilight and Rarity carry in their horn. Sorry I left that unexplained, Twilight.” “It’s fine.” Twilight replied. “I have bad news however.” The AI continued. “We are running extremely low on fuel. We didn’t get enough fuel before we took off. We have traveled a total of 5,000,000 kilometers.” “Looks like we have 495,000,000 kilometers left.” Twilight said. “We’re making so much progress.” She sounded sarcastic. “How fast was this thing going!?” Jon asked. “I can’t really give an estimate as to how fast we were moving.” The AI answered. “How come we weren’t affected by the speed? We didn’t feel any rush.” Twilight asked, looking up at the speaker on the ceiling. “Every aircraft has a type of gravity enhancer. They make it so you don’t fall if the ship shakes or if it’s going at a very high speed. As long as the gravity enhancers remain online during mid flight, you won’t feel any weird feelings or sicknesses.” The AI paused for a moment. “We will have to land. There is no way we’d make it to our destination with this much fuel.” The aircraft lowered to the ground gently and the large ramp at the loading bay lowered to reveal an empty desert. The electric hum of the engines died and became mute. The light appeared out of the ship’s systems and into the large machine known as Emberbeam. The eyes of the machine glowed red and she looked at Fluttershy, Rarity and Pinkie Pie. “We must be going now.” She said. “Jon, Twilight.” She was looking down the hall of the medical bay. “I need you both to grab Rainbow Dash and Applejack.” “I got Rainbow Dash. Twilight, can you get Rainbow Dash?” Jon asked. “Yeah.” They both walked into the medical bay. “Hey, we’ll need to travel by foot now.” He said, approaching Rainbow Dash and wrapping his arms around her waist, trying his best to not touch her wound. “I heard.” Applejack said. Twilight was about to wrap her hooves around her orange coated friend until she pushed her away gently. “I reckon I can still walk.” She said, getting off the cot. She seemed to be correct. Jon lifted the passed out pegasi up and carried her over his shoulder. She made a small whimper of pain and he stopped moving. “Sorry, Rainbow Dash.” He said. “Not the wi…” the last word was replaced with a whinnie but Jon and the two mares understood what she meant. They all walked in the loading bay of the ship to see the whole group was here. Twilight looked out into the empty desert and sighed. “Are we all ready?” Emberbeam asked. Jon nodded his head, as did everypony else. They all walked out of the ship and stood out in the sand. “Why is there no temperature here?” Rarity asked. “Cold temperatures, as well as hot, don’t exist in this world’s atmosphere. You have this towards your advantage.” The AI answered. They turned around and walked in the direction that the ship was pointing at. There was just desert in every direction. No domes, no portals, nothing of interest whatsoever. An hour of walking passed and Rainbow Dash was starting to wake up. “Why are you carrying me?” She asked, catching Jon by surprise. “Why do I hurt so badly?” Everypony and Emberbeam turned to look at her. Jon grabbed her and lifted her up to set her on the ground. He crouched down and looked directly into her eyes. “Promise me you won’t get mad…” He said in a worried tone. “… But I kinda… cut your wing off.” Rainbow looked at him, first confused, then enraged. She quickly turned her head to see a blood stained bandage covering what used to be her wing. She looked back at him. “Why!?” She breathed heavily through her nose. Jon felt the rage she had as her breath she let out hit him in the face. A single tear started rolling down her face. “Your wing was couldn’t be repaired whatsoever!” Jon yelled. “There was nothing I could do! It wasn’t even me! It was the AI!” Rainbow Dash looked at him for several minutes, trying to hold her tears back… and failed. Tears ran down her face and she cried horribly. She laid on the sand and wouldn’t stop crying. “I’m so sorry…” Jon said calmly. He felt like crying himself. Her wing spread out and covered her face, shielding herself from everyone, as well as the light from the sun. “Just let me die.” She said after releasing a sob. Jon caressed the visible side of her face. “No.” He said in a strict tone. “We all need you to stay strong. I’m not leaving anyone… anypony behind. If you want I can carry you but we need to get moving. Your home is being destroyed by the same person that destroyed your wing. Don’t you want pay back?” Rainbow Dash removed her wing from her face and looked at him. She wiped away the tears and sat up hesitantly. “It hurts to move.” She said in a whimper. “As I previously stated, I can carry you.” Jon moved his arms out to her. She allowed him to hold her and he did so. He placed her over his shoulder like he did earlier and looked at his friends, who just stared at him in a depressed expression, except for Emberbeam, who just looked in his general direction. There was no possible way to see a facial expression with her in a war machine’s body that always had the eyes of rage. “We must go.” Emberbeam said. “The sooner we get there, the better.” “Let’s move out.” Jon said, agreeing with her. They all continued walking across the empty wastes until several hours later, when the sun was meeting the moon in the sky. An eclipse formed, darkening the land for several minutes. They decided to set camp here for the night. Since they had no fire wood, tents, or blankets, they just sat clumsily on the sand, except for Rarity, who gently sat down on her haunches. Emberbeam was looking at Jon. “What?” He said. “AI’s don’t sleep. They don’t need it. I will keep sentry duty as you and your friends get their rest.” “Alright, thanks.” He replied, setting Rainbow Dash gently on the ground. She was exhausted and must have fallen asleep during the journey. He kept any sand from getting close to her wound. Even if infection didn’t exist in this place, it would still hurt. Emberbeam looked at him. “There is no infection here.” The AI reminded him. “I know. But once you get sand somewhere, you’ll never get it out.” Jon replied, giggling a little. The sun vanished in the horizon and the ground started glowing a bright gold color. “Sweet Celestia!” Rarity said in excitement. “This is absolutely beautiful!” She dug her hooves into the sand and held a small pile, raising it closer to her face and examining it. The golden light shined upon her face and she laughed in excitement. “I will be sure to take some of this with me as a souvenir!” Emberbeam looked over at her. “The sand only glows in this atmosphere. No other will make it light up like it is currently.” The glowing sand slid out off of her hooves. “Oh…” She said quietly. Jon lied down on his back and closed his eyes. The sand felt surprisingly soft and comfortable. He wasn’t the only one who thought so. Rarity seemed to like the feeling of the sand as well. Twilight laid down next to him and he kissed her gently on the lips. She smiled at him, kissed him back, and snuggled up to him. “Goodnight Jon.” Said Twilight. She sounded exhausted. “Goodnight.” He muttered. It felt like weights were hanging off his eye lids and he closed them, falling asleep within a few seconds, holding Twilight close. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 11 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 11 Jon woke up to feel the sand below him. Opening his eyes, he stared at a cloudless sky. The sun was out, brightening the land. He sat up to see his friends still sleeping. Applejack was starting to wake up too. Emberbeam was still doing her guard duty. “Good morning, Jon.” She said. “Good morning, Applejack. How did you rest?” “Surprisingly, I rested pretty well.” Jon answered. “I did too.” Applejack said. Soon, Fluttershy, Rarity, Twilight and Rainbow Dash awoke, feeling well rested. Jon’s stomach growled. “I sure wish we had something to eat.” Jon said, craving water as much as food. “We should continue moving forward.” Emberbeam advised. “I saw another dome about two to three hours ahead.” “How do you know?” Asked Rarity. “This body can see several miles away.” “Well,” Jon said, standing up and brushing off the sand. “Show us the way.” Emberbeam started walking in the direction they were originally going and Jon looked over at Rainbow Dash, who was still having some trouble walking without groaning in pain. “Here, I’ll help you.” Jon said, lifting her up into his arms. “Why does it hurt to walk anyways?” He asked. “It’s not like you twisted your hoof.” “Pegasi’s have major nerves in their wings.” Twilight answered. Jon looked at her. “If something bad happened to their wings, they wouldn’t be able to move for quite a while without feeling a horrible pain.” “Oh…” He said quietly, turning his head toward the pegasi he held. “Sorry…” “It wasn’t you that did this.” She had revenge grow in her eyes. “I’m gonna kill your imposter.” A few hours passed of walking and a large, steel dome appeared in the horizon, just like Emberbeam said. “What is this place?” “I know about as much as you, Jon.” Emberbeam said, continuing to approach it. They stepped in front of a large vault door just like the last one Jon and Rainbow Dash saw. A light scanned the group and vanished. This time, the door did not open but instead, a loud voice over a speaker appeared. “NAME YOUR CONSTRUCT!” The voice was deep and male. “Construct?” Jon asked. “WHO IS THE MACHINE THAT STANDS BESIDE YOU? NAME YOUR CONSTRUCT!” “Well, we don’t exactly have a name for her except for ‘Emberbeam.’ May we come in?” “WHAT MODEL IS YOUR CONSTRUCT?” The voice asked, ignoring Jon’s recent question. “I am the sixth generation model. Highest IQ settings and life span.” Emberbeam announced. “WHAT ARE THOSE SIX CREATURES STANDING BESIDE YOU?” “They’re with me.” Jon said, stepping toward the vault door a little. “STAY WHERE YOU ARE! WE ARE OPENING THE VAULT DOOR!” Several seconds of silence passed, until Twilight couldn’t stop herself from asking, “Can we really trust whoever is inside?” “We have no choice.” Jon replied, focusing on the large door that sat in front of the group. Minutes passed and the vault door opened, making the loud screeching in the process. The door moved to the side to reveal a bunch of men aiming some sort of rifle at the group. Jon raised his hands high in the air and the ponies just looked at him as if he was crazy. Inside the dome was another screen, like the one that was at Ironwire, except this one had a sun on the screen. Everything else was sky blue. “Look, we want no trouble!” He yelled. “What are those things they are holding?” Fluttershy asked. “Those would be high tech security force weapons. Otherwise known as guns.” Twilight raised her hooves high in the air. “I surrender!” “I strongly recommend not killing or hurting them.” The AI said. “Yeah and why is that?” One of the men said. “Because doing so would be the worst possible decision you could ever do.” The man walked over to Enderbeam, aiming the rifle at Jon in the process. “Oh yeah?” He questioned, face to face with the machine. He pulled the trigger and a laser shot out, hitting Jon’s leg. He fell down and screamed in pain, hugging his leg tightly. Rainbow Dash fell on the ground, curling up from the pain in the location where her wing once was. Enderbeam’s eye’s went black and the large rod ignited in flame, touching the guy and having his body feed the fire. He dropped the gun, starting to run back to the inside of the dome and screaming horribly. “Open fire!” Yelled one of the guards. The ponies jumped out of the way as soon as lasers started flying in their general direction. The man engulfed in flames fell on the ground and stopped screaming. The lasers impacted Emberbeam, appearing to have no effect. Emberbeam raised her gun arm and a giant pillar of flames shot out, killing the group of soldiers instantly. Twilight stood up and stared at the large pillar of fire melting the people that were alive just a few seconds ago. Her jaw dropped in awe and looked at Emberbeam. The pillar of fire vanished and she continued to look at the burnt bodies, which were still feeding the flames that covered them. Applejack got up and quickly approached Jon and Rainbow Dash. “Rainbow.” She said in a calm voice. “Ya alright?” “Yeah… I’m fine. Best check on Jon.” She answered. She sounded like she was still in pain. Applejack turned towards Jon with hesitation, who was still hugging his leg tightly and crying from the pain. He moved his hands away to reveal a blood covered hole in the side of his leg. The laser went right through and escaped out the other side. “It’s bad, isn’t it?” He said in a whimper. Applejack looked at him with a sorry expression. She turned around and looked at Emberbeam. “Can’t ya do anythin’?” She asked. “My life span will shorten to the point where I have no effect on living organisms. I cannot do anything unless I harness a type of energy that is currently extremely rare.” “What is it?” Twilight asked in a loud tone. “The energy comes from a type of crystal that glows a variety of colors, like I do. It is used as ammunition.” “Well, can’t you just take the ammu… whatever it is in those weapons to absorb the energy?” Rainbow Dash asked, attempting to stand up. “It is not possible for me to do so. The ammo in the guns known as LR42s cannot stand extreme hot temperatures.” “LR42? What does that mean?” Twilight asked in confusion. “They name their guns?” “LR stands for Laser Rifle. The 42 stands for how many generations this gun module has gone through.” Emberbeam looked in Twilight’s direction. “I’ll need you to carry Jon into the dome. We must stay here for an estimate of four days. By then, I’m sure I’ll run across this energy and heal him.” Twilight nodded and lifted him up with her magic. He was starting to pass out and soon enough closed his eyes. Applejack lifted Rainbow Dash onto her back and walked in the dome, as did everypony else. Emberbeam glanced to her left to see the control panel of the vault door and stared at it, then at her arms. She turned toward Rarity. “Rarity, if you can do me a favor, it’ll most certainly protect you and your friends.” “What is it you want me to do?” She asked, approaching Emberbeam and the control panel. “I need you to press the buttons I command you to press on this panel. Don’t press any other.” “Why of course.” Rarity said, examining the control panel once she was face to panel with it. Minutes passed of Rarity following Emberbeam’s orders and the vault door slid shut. The metallic screech of the door appeared for a few seconds, having the sound echo throughout the dome. “Good job.” Emberbeam said, walking toward the group, which was going down a trail of an apple orchard. Rarity followed. Applejack looked at each apple tree she passed with a smile on her face. “Why are you smiling, Applejack?” Emberbeam asked. “Well, back where I come from, I have my own apple farm.” She replied, still grinning. Eventually, they all made their way to a large house, fairly similar to Applejack’s house back in Ponyville. Emberbeam stopped right outside the front door and looked at Twilight. “I need you to go inside and look for a crystal shard that glows several colors.” “Sure thing.” Twilight said, setting Jon calmly down on the dirt. She opened the door a crack and peeked through to see regular household items. There was a couch against the wall, below a window, a weird electric box across from the couch, a staircase to the far left, and a separate room directly in front of her. She opened the door even more. The hinges squeaked quite loudly, causing her to feel uncomfortable. The only sounds she could hear were her hooves on the hard, wooden floor, (which had an occasional creak) and her breath. She entered the room across from her warily, getting her magic ready for an attack. Her horn glowed a bright purple, making a slight humming sound. As she stepped into the unexamined room, she found it was just a kitchen, and nothing more. There was no blood, or any life forms as well as bodies. A dining table sat in the middle of the kitchen room, with fancy chairs surrounding it. Resting upon it was a single shard of crystal, just like Emberbeam explained it looked like. It glowed the same exact color the AI did when it wasn’t in a body. She sighed in relief, discharged her magic, and picked it up with her mouth. Stepping outside, she gently set the crystal down on the ground in front of Emberbeam. “Here you go.” She said with a weak smile on her face. “Thank you, Twilight.” Emberbeam replied. She left the body of the machine, reappearing as the same light as the glowing crystal. Her light touched the crystal and she was growing brighter than usual. She seemed to be absorbing the crystal’s power and using it to restore her energy and capabilities. Everypony was blinded and took a minute for them to regain their sight. The AI was heavenly bright. It was like the time Twilight first appeared to her friends as an alicorn. “Sweet Celestia!” Twilight yelled in excitement. “How did you do that!?” “There are many words for what I just did.” The AI replied. “Some call it magic, some call it energy, some call it science, others call it a miracle.” She paused. “I will have to enter Jon’s body again and repair his leg.” The light started moving closer to his chest. “Wait.” Twilight said. “Why don’t you heal Rainbow Dash?” She asked, glancing over at the cyan colored pegasi. Applejack was setting her down carefully. “I can only heal those who have limbs still attached to their body. I’m afraid Rainbow Dash’s wing will not be able to be repaired or recovered. I can only do so much. My power is limited.” Twilight didn’t have anything else to say and the AI phased through his chest. His eyes opened to reveal the light. He continued to lay there but looked down at his leg to see the wound was sealing up, somehow creating extra skin to cover up the hole. Within several seconds, the wound was fully healed, as well as the scarred tissue damage. The light escaped Jon and went back into the machine, activating it afterward. “He should b-b-b-b-be fine n-n-now. H-huh… T-that’s very o-o-odd.” “What’s goin’ on with ya?” Applejack asked, looking at Emberbeam. “I-I-I do not k-know. T-there must b-be a glitch in m-m-m-my mainframe.” Jon opened his eyes and looked around to see Emberbeam, and his new friends were surrounding him. Twilight looked at him and lent out a hoof. He grabbed it and she pulled him up. “How are you feeling?” She asked, looking up at him. He was surprised as to how a pony half his size could lift him up. “I’m fine. What happened?” He asked, looking around. “Long story.” She replied quickly. “I-it’s g-g-g-good to see y-you are res-s-stored to good h-health.” Emberbeam said. Jon looked at her quickly for several seconds. “What’s going on with you?” He asked. “I’m a-afraid when I healed you a second t-time, which was j-just now, your body w-was too m-m-m-much to handle. I’m p-positive it’s just a-a-a-a glitch in my m-mainframe.” Jon felt as if she was lying. Which made absolutely no sense, considering AI’s aren’t built to lie. She has been telling the truth with everything ever since he first met her, or at least he thinks she has been. He felt as if this ‘glitch’ was… killing her. “I’m s-sure the glitch is t-t-temporary.” She said. “A-all of y-y-y-you should g-get some rest. We s-s-s-should stay here for a f-f-few days until the g-g-glitch passes-s-s-s-s-s-s.” “Maybe you should rest too.” Said Fluttershy. “A-A-A-A-AI’s don’t rest.” Emberbeam reminded the group. “A-as long as I k-k-keep myself from doing a-any body swaps, t-t-t-then I should be alr-r-right.” “Alright.” Jon said calmly. “But just take it easy.” He looked at Twilight. “Is the house clear?” “If it wasn’t clear, then I wouldn’t be standing in front of you right now.” She replied, giggling a little. Jon looked over at the door and stepped inside. He walked up the staircase and stared down a long hallway. There were two doors on each side and a small window at the end. Everypony was walking up the stairs behind him. He groped the door handle that was on his right, turning it and pushing against it. A decently made bedroom was revealed. A twin sized bed was in the left corner of the room and a dresser was on the right. Twilight looked into the room and then at him. He looked back at her and their eyes met for a few seconds. “Hey do you mind if I reserve this room for a few minutes. I really feel the need to change into different clothes.” He said with a bright smile. “Sure.” She said, taking a few steps back and walking down the hall. He stepped inside the room and closed the door behind him. He approached the dresser, slid the top drawer open, and examined the contents inside. There were plain white shirts everywhere. He closed it and opened the next one below it. The next drawer contained jeans. They all looked exactly the same. The bottom drawer held boxers… and what Emberbeam called an “LR42.” He picked it up and examined it closely. It was a cold, yet had a smooth metal surface. It was very clean; not a single scratch ruined the frame. He continued scanning it with his eyes as he moved toward the bed and gently set it on the mattress. He went back to the drawer and changed his clothes into the fresh pair of boxers, jeans, and plain white shirt. He tossed the clothes Rarity made onto the floor. The fresh pair felt amazing. The fabric was really soothing on the skin. He grabbed the LR42 and opened the door. The five mares (Rainbow Dash must’ve been resting downstairs) were looking through the other three rooms. Jon walked downstairs to see Rainbow Dash was collapsed onto the couch, snoring loudly. Jon chuckled to himself and examined the electric box (T.V.). He pressed the power button and the screen flashed, showing some sort of distress call. There was an extremely loud electrical hum blasting from the T.V. and Rainbow Dash shot up, nearly falling onto the floor. “GAH!” She yelled. “What is that noise!?” “Oops.” Jon said, turning down the volume and grinning. “Sorry about that.” “What in Celestia was that dreadful noise!?” Rarity yelled from upstairs. “It was nothing!” Jon yelled back. He turned off the T.V. and went back upstairs, hugging his LR42 tightly in his arms. He went into his new room to see Twilight was sitting on the bed. She looked at Jon and noticed the gun he was carrying. ”Where did you get that?” She asked hesitantly. She seemed to be scared of it since she saw what those weapons were capable of. “Actually Twilight, I found this in the bottom dresser of this room.” He replied with a smile. He examined the gun a second time to see there was no form of glowing crystal inside. “The ammo must’ve been taken out.” He implied. Approaching the dresser, he gently set the LR42 on top of it, going to the bed afterward. As he laid down, he let out a big sigh and closed his eyes. “What do you think is happening to Emberbeam?” He asked the purple coated pony, who laid down beside him and started snuggling up close. “It could just be a glitch like she said.” Twilight responded. “It could just be a glitch…” He muttered to himself. Those words repeated in his head until he fell asleep five minutes later.
