Based off of the picture and info that Seanica, a famous DeviantArtist, has provided, this is a headcanon to how Fausticorn's (Lauren Faust as an Alicorn, but you knew that already, ^_^) love for Discord is described through her eyes and heart, and how she resents having to keep him punished.
