Twelve years after Bryan Luna first traveled to Dream Valley with his first true friend Megan Williams, and seven years after he was torn away from her he finds himself in Equestria where he has lived for the last three years.

Every night before he goes to sleep he spends some time looking into the night sky. Twilight just assumes that her human friend is merely stargazing. In truth he is silently dealing with a pain form his past, his fear of an enemy he can't forget, and the love he'll never let go of.
