Author's Note

Okay, here's the next chapter. I'm so, so, so sorry it took so long, but that was my own fault for taking on multiple stories at once. I won't happen again. As soon as I'm done with all my current stories I will only focus on one story at a time, and maybe the occasional two at a time.

...When Did That Happen?

With all the books re-shelved and the cataloging done, Twilight sat down with Spike and wrote the letters that were to be sent out to her friends, inviting them over for a game night. They knew it wasn't really for that but it would end up that way, after, they told them the news.

"Wait for it."

Twilight looked at Spike confused.

"Wait for wh-"

*Bueeeeeeeeee!*

"Aaaaaaaaahhh!"

Pinkie's head was sticking out of the open window into the house with a party horn in her mouth and a gigantic smile on her face.

HEY GUYS I'M SO HAPPY FOR YOU THREE GETTING TOGETHER MY PINKIE SENSE WAS GOING CRAZY LAST TIME TELLING ME THAT THREE OF MY CLOSEST FRIENDS WERE GETTING TOGETHER AND I COULD HARDLY SLEEP LAST NIGHT PLANNING A 'GETTING TOGETHER' PARTY FOR ALL OF YOU DON'T WORRY I WON'T TELL THE GIRLS GO AHEAD AND SEND THEM THEIR LETTER NOW K BYE!

And just like that she was gone, only a dust shaped pinkie cloud left behind.

"That."

A slightly frazzled Twilight looked back at Spike. "Gee, thanks Spike, that really prepared me for that." She said with a hint of sarcasm in her voice.

"Oh you love me."

Twilight rolled her eyes at him. "Yes I do," She gave him a quick kiss. "and that's why you're catering to all of the girls, me included, tonight."

"Of course, is it ever any different?"

Twilight giggled lightly and they went back to writing the letters to their friends.

"Come girls hurry up!"

Rainbow shouted to her friends that were walking on the ground below as she flew above them.

"Rainbow dear, I don't think Twilight is going to be upset with us being five minutes late."

"Rarity's right Sugarcube, what's the rush anyway?"

Rainbow flew down to Applejack and get in her face.

"Because, they have something important to tell you, that's why!"

She turned back around and saw that they were almost there and flew to the door and knocked. Spike answered the door and gestured for the rest to come in when they got to the door themselves.

"Hey girls, how's it going?"

To which he received a chorus of 'good's' and 'thank you's'.

"Come on in." He moved to the side to let the others in.

Once they had sat down on the sofa and chairs that were in the room, Spike asked them if they wanted anything to which everypony said yes. As Spike walked into the kitchen to get them their drinks Rarity turned to Twilight.

"So darling, you and Spike had something to tell us?"

"Actually Rarity, it involves be too."

Rarity looked a Rainbow Dash with a look slight confusion.

"How so?"

"Well if you'd all let me set this down I'll go ahead and tell you all."

Spike said walking in with a tray of drinks which he set down on the table. He sat down in between Dash and Twilight putting his arms around their waists, causing both mares to blush.

"Twi, Dash and me are together."

There was just silence after that. AJ had a smile on her face, but said nothing. Fluttershy was almost beaming that her friends had found somepony to be with, but mostly she was happy for Rainbow since she knew that she was lonely even though she would never show it. Pinkie was practically about to explode from excitement. Rarity though just sat there and blinked ever so often.

"What?" Rarity eventually said.

Rather than tell her again Spike gave both Twilight and Rainbow Dash a long loving kiss, fully driving the point across that they were in fact, together.

Rarity, it seemed that something had flipped a switch in her head, shot up and over to Twilight, grabbed her by the shoulders and started to lightly shake her asking her.

"When did this happen!? How long have you been together!? Who asked who!?"

Rarity stopped when she heard a cough from behind her, turning her head she saw it was Fluttershy and she tried hiding behind her mane instead of the other way around.

"Heehee, sorry dear I seem to have gotten carried away there for a moment."

"It's okay Rarity." Twilight said.

"Oh my gosh I'm so exited that I could just...I could just...Icouldjustexplode!!!"

And she did just that. Pinkie took off like a rocket and flew around the room's ceiling until she landed with a 'thud' were she had a big goofy smile.

"Oh man I've been holding that in all day long. I didn't know if I could make it."

Rainbow was trying not to laugh out loud, which spread to Twilight and Spike, making all of them try very hard to stifle they're laughter until.

*Prrt*

"Heehee ummm, whoopsie, my bad, I had Mexicolt food for lunch."

That was the last straw.

"Buuuwaaaahahahahahahaha!" Rainbow busted out laughing and was on the floor, rolling around and laughing with Spike and Twilight leaning into each other trying not to fall over as they clutched at their stomachs from the level of laughter they were sharing. With the three laughing so hard it soon became like the flu, spreading to the others, making then start giggling, then laughing and finally full out guffawing at the top of their lungs. Even Rarity, though she was never one for joke that involved bodily functions couldn't help but crack a smile and then soon join in on the laughter herself.

After about 3 more minutes of laughing and getting lightheaded from their giggle session, they calmed down and sat down, occasionally getting a little bout of giggles as they sipped at their drinks.

"Well, that was something."

"Ya' I'll say Rares."

Twilight set her glass of apple juice down on the table next to her. "I believe I owe you some answers Rarity?"

"Oh, that's right. As to when this," She motioned to her and Spike. "It happened a little after my coronation, and Rainbow didn't become part of this until last night."

Rarity looked at Rainbow who, for a reason she didn't know, was blushing lightly and the mention of last night.

"Secondly, Me and Spike have been together since then. and lastly It was Spike who asked me...and kissed me," Twilight sighed with a smile on her face as she remembered that day. "It was was the best night of my life...Ummm actually forget I mentioned that last part...please?"

Everypony's face was red, even Applejack. Spike on the other hand had a very triumphant smile on his face.

"I can second that." Rainbow mumbled.

"What was that Dash?" Rarity looked at Rainbow with a raised eyebrow.

"Nothing! Nothing at all!" She was sweating a bit feeling like she had just been caught.

When Rainbow that she had gotten lucky, Spike sat next to her and slung his arm around her.

"Oh she knows exactly what Twi means, especially after last night. Right Dash?"

Dash's face was bright crimson and she wished she could just hide behind her wings, except they were at full mast from the thought of last night coming back to her head.

"Oh my."

Fluttershy's wings were slowly extending as well just form thinking about her friends doing something...like that.

Twilight seemed to be holding up fine until.

"Hey Twi, remember? Whipped cream and cherries?"

*Poomf*
*Poomf*

Fluttershy and Twilight's faces now matched Rainbow's in color.

The room was filled with three very heavily blushing mares sporting wingboners, which he caused.

"U-Ummmm, R-Rainbow, Flutters-shy, can you come with me to the kitchen p-please."

The two other mares followed after Twilight, most likely trying to calm down from Spike's mental assault with sexual mental images.

"Well while we wait for those silly filly's to get back from getting their wings all un-hard, let's set up a party!

Rarity, AJ, Pinkie, and Spike got to work setting up the library for a party, and Spike flipped the sign outside the door from open to closed so thy could have their party without and interruptions.

"Spike can you come over here and help me with the ribbon dear!?"

"Sure thing Rares."

This is gonna be a good night.
