When the town took a "Hit"
The Legend of Stony the Pony

"Well Spike, it looks like its gunna be a great day to hang out with the girls." Twilight said as she closed the book she was reading.
"Alright spike, I'm off to Apple Jacks for the day. I left you some food in the fridge. Help yourself!"
Twilight exited the tree house and made her way over to AJ's house for some friendly bonding that she desperately needed. She had been studying for so long that it seemed like days, and it probably was.
As Twilight strolled through Ponyville to go to Apple Jacks house, she noticed a fog rolling in.
"Huh. The weather section of the news paper didn't say anything about a thick fog today"
Walking further into Ponyville, she began to develop a slight cough. The slight cough grew into to ramped ones, and then into violent ones as she moved closer to the main plaza. The further she moved, the thicker the fog became, until she got sick of the fog and used a magic spell to dissipate it. When she did, she found something very odd about the small town. It was full of new ponies she had never seen before. Packed to the brim in fact. Puzzled as to why there were so many ponies, she went up to one of them and asked,
"Hi there. My names Twilight Sparkle, and I noticed there were a lot of new ponies in town, and I was just wondering where all you came from."
The pony she was talking to just stood there.
"Umm...hello?"
"Dave's not here man"
Clearly Twilight didn't understand what the pony meant, so she inquired again
"I'm sorry, I didn't quite catch that. Why are there so many ponies here?"
"Naw man. Dave's not here"
"Uhh...right. I'm gunna go ask some pony else"
Twilight looked around but could not find any pony she knew. Giving up on the situation, Twilight decided to just proceed to Apple Jacks. When she got there, she saw Apple jack jumping for joy.
"YEEEE HA!" she yelled more excitedly than she had ever done before. Twilight could see a wonderfully joyful expression on AJ's face.
"Well Apple Jack, you seem to be in a good mood today."
"Yes Ma'am, I sure as sugar am"
"Any particular reason why?"
"I been sell'n apples and apple related treats like its nobody's business!"
"Really?"
"Yup. I recon it has to do with all them new ponies in town. t'aint never seen any of them before, but boy howdy do they love to eat. Kept call'n them the 'munchies'. I don't know nothin bout no munchies, but I do know whose guna be building another barn soon with all this new cash."
"Well that's great to hear Apple Jack. So ya ready to go out and have some fun?"
Applejack developed a sorrowful look upon her face as she replied to Twilight
"Aw I'm sorry sugar cube, but I got so much business going on right now that I ain't got time for fun. Maybe another day Twi."
"Oh...okay, well, I guess that's alright." Twilight said with a look of disappointment.
"I'll just go back to my place then. Could probably use some cleaning from all those books on the floor anyway"
So Twilight set off for home, trudging through the thick cough inducing smoke. It seemed to take her forever. Step by step, hoof by hoof. But eventually she got there.
"Boy, I feel kinda funny" she thought as she entered the tree house.
"Spike! Spike! Are you home?"
"Yeah I'm here" he said with blood shot eyes.
"Uhh...Spike? You don't look so good...are okay?"
"What do ya mean? I feel great. Better than great actually. I feel awesome"
"Uhhh...okay. Well, do you have any idea why there are so many new ponies in town today?"
"What, you mean you didn't hear?"
"Hear what?"
"They legalized Marijuana"
"What...?"
"Yeah, they legalized marijuana in Ponyvill. Now every pony is coming here to smoke it."
"Oh, well that makes - WAIT, WHAT!?"
"What? You mean you didn't know?"
"No! I didn't! That's terrible! But it explains it all - The smoke like fog, the tons of ponies, applejack selling so many apples... Eh - wait a sec...How did you know?"
"I uhh...umm...it was...in the papers?"
Twilight looked at Spike with eyes of suspicion. She wanted to question him further, but she had no time. She had a pony to lecture today, and that person was - The mayor!"
