The streets of Canterlot were filled with ponies. The reason? Easy, The Summer Sun Celebration Parade, and Princess Celestia was going to be in it. Everypony was happy, expect for one filly.
In the giant crowd of ponies, stood a young blue unicorn filly with a white mane, was crying. She was lost, she had lost her parents in the crowd and didn't know what to do. So, she just cried. She saw that all the other ponies were all happy, she wanted to be happy too.She had decided to push threw the crowd and go and look for her parents.
She galloped for what to be hours. She didn't give up, she kept on going and going. She had asked several other ponies if they saw her parents. Sadly, they shook their heads no. Eventually, she did gave up hope. She stopped and her tracks and cried.

The now grown Trixie was a pulling her wagon, looking for a place to perform her one-mare-show. She had gotten bored of the boring looking farmland and started to daydream.
"Where in all of Equestria can Trixie perform her show?" Trixie thought to herself as she continued on moving.
Not knowing where she was going, she had walked straight into a giant old wooden sign. On the sign, written in faded letters was, Welcome To Ponyville
"Perfect." Thought Trixie, "this will be a perfect little place for poines to see, The Great and Powerful Trixie."

The filly was hungry. She didn't know what to do, until she remembered that her parents had taught her some magic in case if she was ever lost, she would be able to defend herself. She walked all over the streets of Canterlot to find a place so she could perform her magic. She saw the perfect place, right in front of bakery. The little filly had walked to the front of the bakery and cleared her throat.
"Come one, Come all." Said the little filly as loud as she could. But sadly, nopony could hear her. She had tried several times to get someponies to notice her, sadly none.
She had the same feeling she had when she lost her parents. Hopeless. Lost. And worst of all, fear. The very thought had brought to filly to tears. When she was crying, something inside of her felt weird. A purple ray of energy came out of horn sent out flying fireworks. Amazed by what had just happen all the ponies looked at her, all in total awe.
"Impressive." She heard one of them say.
"And at such a young age too." Said another.
The ponies came up to her one by one. Giving all the bits they could. The filly never could be any happier.
As a pegasus was giving the filly some bits and said, "You might want to look at your flank. I think you got your Cutie Mark."
The filly turned and looked at her flank. The pegasus was right, she did get her Cutie Mark. On her flank was, a purple wand with pixie dust and a yellow star. This was the happiest day of her life.
When the filly went to thank the kind pegasus, but the pegasus went on the ground and bowed and said, "Your Majesty."
Confused, the filly had turned around her and saw it was her. Princess Celestia. A magnificent winged unicorn she was. The Princess gave the filly a warm smile and said, "Quite a show my little filly, now tell me. What is your name?"
"Trixie." Said the filly.
"And Trixie, " Said Celestia, "where are your parents, aren't they worried sick about you."
Trixie had lowered her head down, "I don't have any."
"What do you mean?" Asked Clestia.
"I lost them in a crowd," Said Trixie, "And I never found them."
"I see," Said Celestia, "come, follow me."

When Trixie had found the perfect place to set up her one-mare-show, she had used her magic to levitate the stuff needed to set up, and got it all set up. When the stage was done being set up, she got on it and cleared her throat.
"Come one, Come all," Said Trixie in a loud booming voice, "come and witness, The Great and Powerful Trixie."
She manged to attract a small crowed of ponies. She had did a simple magic trick, which had caused to ponies to be all awe. As she did more and more magic, the crowed had gotten bigger and bigger.
"Watch as I," Said Trixie, "the Great and Powerful Trixie has she does spectacular feats of magic to be witness to pony eyes."
"My, my, my," Said a voice that belonged to white unicorn with a curly violet mane, "what boasting."
"You call that magic?" Said a voice that belonged to a purple dragon with green spikes, "nopony is as magical as Twi--" The dragon had froze when the unicorn had looked at him.
"I'm sorry Spike," Said the unicorn, "did you say something?"
"Uh... Rarity...I--", Chocked Spike, "mustache!" And Spike ran off.
"There isn't anything wrong of being talented," Said a voice that belonged to a maroon unircorn with a purple mane with a pink streak through it, "is there?"
"Of course not Twilight." Said Rarity.
"That voice.,"Thought Trixie,"why does it sound so familiar?"

"Princess Celestia's School For Gifted Unicrons" Said the sign next to the huge building. As they walked in it, Trixie was in total awe at what had just happened. She had been noticed by the Princess herself and got to ride with her in her chariot. But, why did the stop at this school, Trixie was confused.
"What is all this?" Asked Trixie.
"This," Said Celestia, "will be your new home and new school."
"What?" Said Trixie in shock, "what do you mean?"
"I saw what you did back there," Said Celestia, "you have potential."
"I do?" Asked Trixie.
The Princess had nodded her head in agreement, "There is another filly like you that shares the same potential."
"Who is she?" Asked Trixie.
"Her name," Said Celestia, "is Twilight Sparkle."
Trixie had followed the Princess until they saw a purple unicorn filly reading several books, and with her an old doll was too reading.
Twilight," Said Celestia, "meet Trixie, she will be studying with you."
"Hi, I'm Twilight," Said the unircorn as she grabbed the old doll, "and this is Smarty Pants."
"Um..." Said Trixie, "hello, my name is Trixie."

"Well well," Said Trixie, "looks like me have some neigh sayers in the crowd."
"What makes you so great and powerful anyways?" Asked Rainbow Dash.
"Only The Great and Powerful Trixie had enough magic to defeat the dreaded Ursa Major." Said Trixie.
Twilight had given Trixie a sharp glare, "Really you did. Where at?"
"Trixie defeated the Ursa Major at Hoofington."
"That isn't a real place." Said a pony in the crowd.
"Oh no." Thought Trixie,"it is her, Twilight Sparkle."

It was Hearth's Warming's Day in the school, and four years since Trixie first met the Princess. Everypony was happy with the gifts and letters they had gotten from their parents. Expect for Trixie. Instead, she slowly walked over to her only friend, Twilight Sparkle.
She saw Twilight was reading a letter, laughing and giggling.
"Hey Twilight." Said Trixie, "what's so funny?"
"Oh nothing," Said Twilight, "just reading a letter from my parents."
"Your parents?" Asked Trixie.
Twilight nodded and used her magic to levitate a photo. The photo had a picture of three unicorns, one had a similar mane like Twilight that was pink and white stripes with a white coat, the other had dark blue mane and light blue coat, and the last had a white coat with a blue mane with a light blue streak.
"Who are they?" Asked Trixie.
"My mom, dad, and my older brother," Said Twilight, "my brother, his name Shining Armor and he's training to be a royal guard."
Trixie began to tear up. She was envious of Twilight. She had parents and a brother. She didn't know what to say, so instead she just gave a weak smile.
"D-Did I say something to offend you?" Asked Twilight.
"No," Said Trixie, "Nothing is wrong, I don't know what you are talking about. Its not like I don't have parents or anything."
"Trixie I didn't say--" Said Twilight, "oh, I'm sorry, look I didn't to do that."
"Its nothing." Said Trixie.
"No," Said Twilight as she used her magic to levitate a sweater that her mother had mad her, "you can have this."
"T-T-Thank you." Said Trixie.
"No problem," Said Twilight, "Merry Hearth's Warming."

"Anypony," Said Trixie, "can anypony top The Great and Powerful Trixie?"
"Can your magic top this?" Said Applejack has she got her rope out and started roping in circles, and jumping in and out of each one, "beat that."
"Please." Said Trixie, as she used her magic to levitate the rope, moving in a way that mesmerize Applejack, and tied her hoofs up when she wasn't looking, "next."
"Hey," Said Rainbow Dash, "I'm the only show off around here."
"Is that so?" Asked Trixie.
"Yeah," Said Rainbow Dash, "beat this." Rainbow Dash flew up high in sky and through many clouds, and she zipped passed Trixie causing her to spin around.
"I don't have Dash in my name for nothing." Said Rainbow Dash.
"Boring." Said Trixie as she used to her magic to summon a storm cloud and zapped Rainbow Dash.
"Ow." Said Rainbow Dash.
"Trixie rather fight somepony who is the same as her," Said Trixie, "anypony up to the challenge?"
All eyes turned to Twilight who had lowered her head.
"Please stop this," Said Rarity, "I get it, you want me. But, I will not stoop to Rainbow Dash's and Applejack's brutish ways. I will defeat you in grace."
Trixie just yawned and had cast a spell on Rairty that had the all audience to gasp.
"What did she do?" Said Rairty, "mirror, somepony get me a mirror."
"Your mane is green." Said Trixie.
Rarity screamed and galloped away.
"Anypony else?"
Nopony had had made a sound.
"Then Trixie is truly the best."
After the show, Trixie was greeted by two of her fans. An orange unicorn with a green mane and a small pudgy unicorn with an orange mane.
"What do you want?" Asked Trixie.
"We wanted to know if we could get an autograph," Said the orange unicorn, "Please?"
"Fine," Said Trixie, "who should Trixie it make it out for?"
"Snips." Said the pudgy unicorn.
"Snails." Said the orange one."
"To Trixie's biggest fans ever, Snips and Sails." Said Trixie as she signed a photo of herself, "now go away, and leave the Great and Powerful Trixie."
"Yes Trixie." Said Snips and Snails.

Twilight had done it again. She had amazed the teachers again with her magic. What had Trixie done? She had done her best, but had only gotten a applause. Twilight had them eating out of their hoofs.
"Hey Trixie," Said Twilight as she trotted up to Trixie, "nice job at the exams."
"You'll pass for sure," Said Trixie, "and I be forced to perform on the streets again."
"If anypony deserve to pass, its you," Said Twilight, "that firework show was amazing."
"Really?" Asked Trixie, "you think so?"
"I know so." Said Twilight.
"You may think it was amazing," Thought Trixie, "I want to be something more. How about..Great...and.... Powerful."

Trixie had been awoken by loud knocking on her wagon door.
"What can be so important that it can't wait till morning," Said Trixie as she got up and went to the door, "why did you two wake up Trixie?"
"We have a problem." Said Snails.
"A major problem." Said Snips.
"What did you do?"
"We summoned the Ursa Major."

Trixie had looked through every book and still couldn't find a way to make herself to be....The Great and Powerful Trixie...there just wasn't any books. Until she heard a couple of colts talking about something.
"I'm telling you," Said one, "I totally saw it with my own eyes."
"What a bunch of lies," Said the other, "everypony knows the Ursa Major is just and Old Mare's Tale."
"What is an Old Mare Tale?" Asked Trixie.
"Dumbo here claims he saw an Ursa Major." Said the colt.
"I did so," Said the other, "want to hear about it Trixie?"
"Tell me everything you know."

"You did what?" Asked Trixie.
"Didn't you hear us the first time?" Asked Snips.
"We summoned the Ursa Major." Said Snails.
"Why?"
"So me and Snails could see you defeat it."
Trixie gave the two unicorns a nervous grin, "Piece of cake."

The Ursa Major roared as loud as it could, but one pony wasn't at all afraid. She was terrified. Trixie stood there as the Ursa Major came charging towards her. Trixie stood there with a confident grin on her face.
"Come one, Come all," Said Trixie, "and watch as I, The Great and Powerful Trixie will defeat this Ursa Major."
The Ursa charged faster, but Trixie did not move. She was to determined to do so. She wanted to prove something, that she was great and powerful. If word did speared that she was great and powerful, maybe she would find her parents.
"Trixie." Said Twilight as she galloped towards her, "are you crazy?"
"No." Said Trixie in flat voice.
"Then move."
"I can't."
"Why not?"
"I am no longer that filly anymore," Said Trixie, "I am not the filly who cried in the crowds and had to perform in the streets. I am, The Great and Powerful Trixie."
The Ursa came faster and faster towards the two unicorns. Twlight scared, Trixie clam but underneath that mask she was wearing she was scared too.
"Trixie." Screamed Twilight as the Ursa gotten closer and closer, just then Twilight had pointed her horn at the Ursa and had cast a spell. Twilight's whole body engulfed with a bright purple energy she pointed her horn at the Ursa and Ursa ran away.
"How did you--"? Asked Trixie.
"Magic, its my special talent." Said Twilight.
Trixie galloped off tears streaming down her face.
"Trixie!" Twilight called, but is no use, Trixie couldn't hear her at all.

"That was an Ursa Minor?" Asked Trixie in disbelief.
"Yes," Said Twilight.
"Explain to Trixie why was it rampaging?" Asked Trixie.
"It wasn't rampaging," Said Twilight glaring at Snips and Snails, "it was just cranky because somepony woke it up."
"We're sorry." Said Snips.
"We deserve what any punishment you give us." Said Snails.
"You may of vanquish an Ursa Minor, but you are nothing compared to Trixie." Said Trixe.
There was a puff of smoke and Trixie was gone. Twilight hung her head low in shame, but was comforted by her friends.
"Twlight," Said Rainbow Dash, "did you know her?"
"I did," Said Twlight, "but she changed."
